“I Told You So” (Update)

Editor’s Update at 7:30 p.m.: Thanks to Larry Johnson, we have received permission to reprint Lynn Forester de Rothschild’s essay in full. Look for it tomorrow.

About Barack Obama, as did many of us, but this person is Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, former Democratic Party activist and donor, not to mention a HUGE supporter of Hillary Clinton. Lady de Rothschild was an insider in the DNC, and saw first hand how they treated Hillary Clinton, and her supporters. She took her considerable political weight, and threw it behind McCain. Lady de Rothschild is also a very strong, powerful woman all on her own, and frankly, is just freakin’ awesome, IMHO.

Lady de Rothschild has continued to stay in the political landscape, and has the following post in The Daily Beast. What a post it is:

Obama’s shortcomings were eminently foreseeable, says one of McCain’s most prominent Democratic backers. Lynn Forester de Rothschild on how the president’s fake bipartisanship could never hide his true leftist agenda.

The failures of the Obama presidency were clearly telegraphed by the Obama candidacy. I hate to say it, but I told you so.

Back in September 2008, as a lifelong Democratic Party loyalist and activist, I backed John McCain; I told The New York Times, “I love my country more than my party.” Supporting a Republican was the last thing I expected to be doing in the fall of 2008. But I knew it was my only choice, given the decision by the Democratic Party establishment to reject 18 million voters in favor of the inexperienced and ideological Barack Obama.

His cynical use of centrist language as a tool to get elected does not change the fact of his true objectives for America.

After watching President Obama in office for more than a year, it is clear to me that, during the campaign, we already knew what kind of president he would become.

Yes, most of us DID know what kind of president Obama would become, hence why so many of us supported Clinton:

The health-care summit vividly demonstrated Mr. Obama’s fake bipartisanship. When he was a candidate, we celebrated when he said, “We are not red or blue states. We are the United States of America.” But candidate Obama had no record of bipartisan behavior. Ironically, the one time that Obama entered into a bipartisan effort was with, of all people, John McCain. He reached across the aisle to draft ethics reform legislation with Senator McCain. But when Obama returned to the Democratic establishment with a bill that did not meet their favor, he backed away fast. It was candidate McCain who had worked productively and regularly with Democrats, like with Russ Feingold on campaign-finance reform and Ted Kennedy on immigration. The record told me more than the rhetoric about which candidate would honestly respect the other side and reach across the aisle to find the best solutions for America.

Perhaps the biggest fabrication of the Obama candidacy was his claim of being a centrist. Sure, he made promises during the campaign that pleased moderates. He promised “the elimination of capital gains taxes for small business,” a $3,000 refundable tax credit to existing businesses for every additional employee hired through 2010, removal of penalties for early withdrawal of 401(k) savings during the recession, and no administration jobs for lobbyists. Perhaps the best of all was the promise he made in the Mississippi presidential debate when he said, “We need earmark reform. And when I’m president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely.” They were specific, sensible promises—ones that enabled him to mislead the electorate about his real plans for America.

Oh, sure he would. Many of us knew Obama would give the same kind of attention to the issues that came before him as he did while an IL Senator (“Present!”) or as a US Senator (“I changed my mind!” like he apparently did in regard to a promise made to John McCain), and so many more (remember FISA, for instance?). Ahem. Some of us were paying attention, though:

Again, I chose to look beyond the rhetoric to the record. At the time, it was obvious that a candidate who won the primary because of the left would be beholden to the left, no matter what promises he made to get elected. It was also obvious to ask what kind of president would have voted “present” on 129 difficult votes while in the Illinois State Senate. He was always thinking about how to keep every constituency happy; how to maintain his viability for the White House. In The Audacity of Hope, he criticized Bill Clinton for giving too much respect to Ronald Reagan. He asked the Democratic Leadership Council, the centrist Democratic group, to remove his name from their lists.

So if he wasn’t going to be a centrist Democrat in the tradition of Bill Clinton, what did Barack Obama want from his presidency, should he be elected? He told us from the beginning. It was a stunning agenda, but it seemed innocuous, even inspiring, during the campaign. Standing on the steps of the old Illinois State Capitol, announcing his candidacy for president, Obama declared he was running “not just to hold an office, but to gather with you to transform a nation.” Suddenly now everyone is worried he is trying to transform America. He had said so all along. His is an effort to make a bigger, more intrusive and more costly government. His hope is, and has always been, to turn the country into a nation that looks more like a European social democracy. He ignores that the roots of our strength have always been small government and a dynamic private sector, fostered by both Democrats and Republicans. His cynical use of centrist language as a tool to get elected does not change the fact of his true objectives for America. It is telling that under Obama’s presidency, according to Sunday’s CNN Poll, 37 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of independents and 70 percent of Republicans see the federal government as a threat to the rights of Americans.

Holy crapoli. There are some pretty bad numbers, especially for the “Transformational King” that was supposed to be Obama, especially this soon. Again, “We Told You So:

Our central problem is that the combination of his grandiloquence and the September 2008 financial crisis led to his election. Now, the only way to stop him in the next three years is through voter pressure on Congress. One course is to follow Massachusetts and just elect any Republican. But both parties lack courageous leaders who will fight for the values and policies of the middle. We need a movement of the militant middle; millions of voters who support the sensible policies from both parties. This would give Democrats political cover to stand up to Obama, Pelosi, and Reid and Republicans the backbone to acknowledge that the country must progress in order to be strong. Most Americans see a false choice between a smaller government and a progressive country. We must have both. It is our only hope. (Lady de Rothschild is chief executive of E.L. Rothschild LLC, a private investment company. She is a director of the Estee Lauder Cos. and The Economist Newspaper Ltd.)

Interesting points by Lady de Rothschild, don’t you think? Here she is explaining why she said, “Told You So”:

I love this woman – an excellent role mode during Women’s History Month. I think she is fantastic – so eloquent, so knowledgeable, so diplomatic, so RIGHT, especially about Bill Clinton, and SO right about Barack Obama. Told you so…

Yes! I agree with her on everything.

Vote for Republicans if we have to stop Obama.

Get the Democratic party back on track, using Obama as cover.

    Brilliant woman.

  • Ex Florida Democrat

Pay attention to what Obama does, not what he says…they are rarely consistent.

He says he’s a post racial candidate.
He is a member of a racist “church” for 20 years.

He says he’s for public financing of campaigns.
He breaks his promise and buys the election.

He says he’s going to eliminate corruption in Washington.
He accepts a bribe (house) from convicted felon Tony Rezko.
He uses IL taxpayer money to bribe his wife’s employer in exchange for her $200k per year pay increase.

He says he’s for fair elections.
He denies millions of voters in Florida and Michigan the right to vote.

Pure and simple, Obama is a con man.  He is a crook.

  • Diana L. C.

I did not hear Lady de Rothschild say we should all vote Republican.  I hear her say “I TOLD YOU SO!” about Obama.

I would also like to shout to the rooftops:  I TOLD YOU SO!  I TOLD YOU SO!  I TOLD YOU SO!

In fact, if many her at NQ could synchronize our watches and decide on a date and time, we could all shout at the same time and be heard finally.

  • POdVet

I believe what needs to be stressed here. Is that though he has a far leftist history. Obama’s true agenda is the same as it has always been shown previously to be. It is not as the Repub’s scream and make themselves look like loons…socialism. It is personal profit for Barack Obama that matters to him! His getting involved with health care now, is NO different than when he got involved in housing for the poor in his district when he was in the Ill. State Senate. He claimed lofty ideals then too. But we here at NQ know that his real goal then. Was to benefit personally through his criminal benefactor Antoin Rezko. I have no doubts that during his backroom deals with big pharma and the insurance companies. Barack made arraingements to gain personally by screwing all of America just as he did previously by screwing the voters of his old district.

  • Ex Florida Democrat

    Absolutely!

  • Craig Della Penna

I have enormous respect for Lynn de Rothschild, she was one of the few in the 2008 election cycle who were in the public eye and who stood up and said loud and clear: Nobama, no way!

But I have to take issue with her description of Obama’s political stance. He is not and never has been a Leftist and/or a Progressive. This is pure right wing propaganda. Obama has always been a loyal corporatist tool and it is an insult to leftists and progressives everywhere to call him one.

In fact, Obama’s great mistake was in not being leftist enough: had he pushed through ‘socialized’ medecine (i.e., Single Payer, Medicare Part E or even the Nose of the Camel Under the Tent – the Public Option), had he told the banksters after TARP I, “Sorry folks, you already got $800 billion, there’s no more in the kitty for you.” Had he nationalized the banks and put a moratorium on foreclosures, had he started a massive infrastructure repair program creating a million or two new jobs…
then you might have been able to legitimately call him a leftist and/or progressive and the right wing Randites and Paultards could froth at the mouth with good reason.

But no, Lady de Rothschild, Obama is no more leftist than George W. Bush was – in fact he’s exactly like GWB and that’s what pisses me off because I and a few others knew what he was two years ago. I’m glad you were with us but very sorry to hear that you apparently didn’t understand why.

  • Anonymous

Big deal! That is her opinion. Would expect nothing less from a turncoat!

  • Anonymous

If Obama is a leftist, I’ll eat my shoe.  Obama is not a leftist or a centrist and of course, not a right wing.  Obama is for Obama first and then for his masters (pharma, health care, nuclear power industry) that paid for his campaign.  That’s why he is without a compass.

  • EllenD

I agree POdVet. In order for Obama to want to turn the country Socialist, he would have to BELIEVE in something. He would have to have PRINCIPLES. But casually throwing away Public Option in favor of forcing everyone into the clutches of the Insurance companies sure doesn’t sound Socialist. It sounds like he made a deal with the health insurance corporations.
And all his deals are to his personal advantage.

I understand that he no longer intends to either reject bills or sign them. He has a happy-face stamp, like the one my bank uses, which simply says “Present” :-D

  • dst

And since the powers behind creating him knew he would need to be manipulated and that hardly would have been true with HC, he was chosen  .

Here’s some more of the same.

  • PortiaElizabeth

I really respect and admire Lady Lynn, too, so when she speaks, I listen. We can argue semantics all day about what Obama is or isn’t. For me the salient point is that he is whatever is most convenient and this can change rapidly depending on circumstances. If it benefits his personal agenda he’ll be leftist, centrist or The Cheshire Cat.

But, Obama works through the leftist agenda.  Otherwise he wouldn’t have all of his left wingy czars to advise him.  They are still there even if the media isn’t reporting about them.

Obama, himself, is an opportunist and only interested in his own personal gratification.

Among all of those things that fluctuate, one thing is constant for Obama, the caring attitude he has for solving the problems we have in America as Americans and the love for his country. As long as he keeps showing us that he cares and feels deeply for our plights and needs, he will be gaining the appreaciation of all Americans. That special caring attitude plus his unextinguishible flame of constant work and desire for the best that America can do, is what will thrust him to become one of the most productive and best regarded President we have ever had.

LFdR is saying what she is saying because she fails to measure Obama up properly and with the care that an intelligent person should have for ‘the others’ reputation.

LFdR fails to consider how much Obama cares for his country and for his fellow Americans. Obama cares for America much more than Regan cared, Bush cared, Clinton cared and Bush II cared. And that special deep care and concern and love for his fellow Americans is what characterizes Obama. We need to appreciate that.

Couldn’t agree with you more, Ex-Florida Dem.  Amen to that.

Is it possible for the Dems, or Reps, for that matter, to actually be eht party they CLAIM to be?  If we could get people like Lady Lynn in there, or get Hillary in there (as opposed to working at the pleasure of the president), and folks like that, could they help to restore the Dem Party to its ideals, to what it claims to be, or would it be the same party abt which Larry wrote this morning?

I don’t know – I WISH it could be – but after 2008, it may be beyond hope.  At least, I have lost all hope in it.

A “turncoat”?  No, the turncoats in this past election were the Democrats when they made a mockery of one person, one vote in the Primaries, not to mention what they did in the General Election (one word: ACORN – don’t forget Obama paid them over $800,000 for “voter registration.”  Ahahahahaha – that’s funny.).

The DNC were the turncoats when they trashed the most qualified person in the race, a woman, BECAUSE she was a woman.

No, de Rothschild isn’t the turncoat – far from it.  She has stayed true to her beliefs – it’s the Democratic Party that did not.

  • prime obot

Oh well, maybe you’ve lost hope, Rev Amy, but certainly most Democrats haven’t, nor most Americans. I loved the Obama I saw give his brief health care address today. I particularly loved the blunt, combative message he offered the Republicans:

…most Republicans in Congress believe the answer is to loosen regulations on the insurance industry – whether it’s state consumer protections or minimum standards for the kind of insurance they can sell. I disagree with that approach…If they truly believe that less regulation would lead to higher quality, more affordable health insurance, then they should vote against the proposal I’ve put forward“.

Bravo.  Let the Repubs vote against safeguarding Americans against losing insurance when they lose their job, or being denied insurance because of a preexisting conditions. Let them just vote against it. And better yet, let them go to the American people this fall, once the bill has been signed by the President and the nation has had six months to learn what’s actually in it, and base their campaign to take over on Congress on a promise to repeal it, so that tens of millions of middle class voters will once again be at constant risk of losing their insurance or not being able to get it at all.

Finally, Obama just told the GOP to shove it. It’s about time. And if my friends here at NQ think that the American people will reject this health care bill once they know what’s actually in it, you are kidding yourselves. Obama’s approval numbers are already rising past 50 again (see Gallup, McClatchy); by this fall, they will be much higher than that, and the GOP dream of retaking Congress, and defeating Obama in 2012, will be a distant memory.

  • Cindy

I think the Lady is badly misinformed.  It’s not about left or right anymore, it’s about up and down.  OFraud was never a progressive has proven he is strictly in the pockets of the Ups and the rest of us can go to hell.  Too many people on either the left or right are screaming about the same things.  We all want what’s best for this country; too bad they can’t get together and decide to scream the same tune.  Maybe we need to form the Anti-incumbent party.

C Krauthammer – ha! what a laugh – the ever perplexed ever stunned ever mezmerized by Obama.

Prime obot, I agree with you there. And let me tell you Prime obot where I come from.

I have been disagreeing with the health care bill Obama has been putting forward, but I don’t know what he is proposing. I disagree vehemently with the policies that the Dems are pushing. But the Dems are the Dems [ie. no body is asking me] and they were elected to do a job and by golly they are going to do it. And I agree that they were elected to do a job.

Now maybe next time people will be much careful who they elect to represent them. But if they elect Democrats, I think they should get Democrat policies. And nothing else.

  • mortuus lark

And Prime obot, I am through disparriging and derriding Obama. It is just not proper not seeing what a wonderful person he is and how much he wants to contribute to the betterment of our country. Earlier it was the credit card industry. He is passed from corp to corp to be used as directed. This was always there if you looked for it. Check his Chicago voting records. A new center party or people’s party or commoners party would be great. Call it whatever, so long as it represented actual citizens. Right now, citizens aren’t represented at all. O.K. technically we have senators and representatives… so what? They don’t give a rat’s ass what we want. Therefore, they don’t represent us.

You’ve just admitted botfly, that essentially no one, including YOU, knows what’s in the damn thing, yet you have blind faith in the integrity of a pathological liar like Obama, with the help of the idiot Democrats, to have crafted a 2700 page monstrosity that will somehow benefit all Americans. You are an idiot.

But at least, you have enough benevolence for us lowly proletarians, that you’ve descended from your unicorn ranch atop “The Big Barack Candy Mountain”, to regale us with yummy gumdrops of Obama talking points, and your usual super sweet take on the actions of the maggots in power. And as usual, you’ve only presented us with same old glowing propaganda, the type we’ve heard ad nauseam from countless sources. You have yet to present an interesting or unique perspective on ANYTHING, and you remind me of the constant droning of propaganda spewed from loudspeakers in the movie version of “1984″; “Due to the tireless efforts of our GLORIOUS LEADER, chocolate rations will be increased 2 grams next month. The Ministry of Peace has driven back our enemies in Eurasia, and the evil traitor Goldstein is retreating like a coward. On the agricultural front, bumper crops of…………….” and on and on. It really is what you sound like, and it is sickening.

On another thread, you accused Sarah Palin of being a quitter, has life in your glass house? Here’s YOUR resignation letter dated Jan. 19, 2010, when you were throwing a tantrum because of Scott Brown’s victory. This is as close to a prissy little hissy fit as I’ve seen coming from a grown man.

Writing with glee about the election of a hardcore right-wing Republican who believes women who’ve been raped should be turned away from hospitals who don’t want to do abortions is just the lowest of the low. And you find yourself cracking jokes about this terrible result. You need to look in the mirror. Seriously. I am finished. You are all awful.”

The other thing GWB was never a conservative. People have been beating up conservatives for years now for what Bush did… what did he ever do that was conservative? Nothing. Same with BHO… he is giving progressives a bad name. But what has BHO done so far that was progressive… nothing. I said this two years ago myself that Obama was the mirror image of Bush. On one hand a complete opposite, yet functionally an equivalent. BHO=GWB. Somebody  prove that equation wrong.

What’s so funny is that Lady Lynn is actually a self-made woman and achieved her status  (and her money) on her own.  She didn’t come from a super-rich family from all reports. While don’t agree with all of her views she’s at least consistent. She didn’t throw Hillary under the bus when it would have been politically convenient. Says a lot about her.

She did way more than write a check, Jackie.

And, she was a self made woman far before marrying nobility.  She had alreacy achieved success as an attorney.  To assume that she got where she is because of whom she married is demeaning to her and many women (gee, that reminds me of something Chris Matthews said abt Hillary).

And hell yes – she is a great role model.  A strong, powerful, eloquent, elegant, gracious woman?  Any day of the week, I’d take her.

  • candymarl

Jackie, you just described the perfect dysfunctional family. If they weren’t around why not? They could have stepped up but didn’t. Neither did Baraxk’s father yet he wrote a book about him. Thank you for agreeing with me.  I meant her status as a wealthy woman. She didn’t need to marry for money. She married a knight true. Maybe she loves the guy. Who knows. But I’ve seen her in interviews and she prefers to be called Lynn.

She doesn’t have to kiss a**. As you pointed out she made her money one her own.

With all due respect, candymarl, that is just not so.

But even that was so – which is not for a longshot – even if that was so

and now yes you will see one of my biases

Hillary lost all credibility with the international community when she allows two decent and well intentioned Americans – declared innocent already by a judge – to remain one more second in a under third world country like Haiti where we have more than 4000 thousand Marines attending duties there.

What that has told the international community is something I can’t say here. She lost their respect.

Obama needs to get rid of her and give her lots of time to be with Bill.

  • Ani

Probably why he’s a bit twisted mentally.  Just saying…..

But please look away from the fact that he is probably hiding the fact that his great Ivy League eduction you’re so proud of was probably because he was entered as a foreign student.  So, yes, we should all hate Lady D. becuse she’s married to a foreigner but love O because he IS one.

  • prime obot

Didn’t mean to hit post that soon. Good paragraph by me, and yes, I absolutely deserve your mockery, Onofre, for writing that and then eventually wandering back. So be it. I did feel that way at the time — to crow about the victory of a Republican at that incredibly sensitive point in our political history really was awful, from any progressive perspective.

Just spare me the crapola about me being a brainwashed Obama booster; in recent weeks, I have repeatedly acknowledged on this site my disappointment in the man in all kinds of ways. I still fundamentally believe, however, that his success is absolutely essential to the success of this country in the early 21st century. So I’m heartened by this:

    http://openleft.com/diary/17663/as-obama-calls-for-congress-is-vote-this-month-reform-gains-in-polls

Surprise, surprise the health care plan is getting more popular with the public as soon as Obama concludes that he has no choice but to actually get out there and start selling it himself.

Oh, and you’re wrong: we do know by now pretty well what is in those 2,700 pages. The Senate bill has been publicly available for many weeks now, the CBO has scored it, many many analysts have written about it. It is quite obviously a great first step toward reforming our health care system before it drowns this country in red ink. So I am very very pleased that it is going to pass within a few more weeks.

  • prime obot

Yep. IF. I believe he will. Obama is nothing if not a pragmatist, and in the past few weeks he seems to have rediscovered that being an actual leader, like, works. Amazing.

And pathetic, really, that he let his administration drift all these weeks. The NQers will never stop calling me a brainwashed bot (thus my chosen name here) but in truth I am nothing of the kind, and I have been bitterly disappointed by Obama in a number of important respects. I think he may have righted himself just in time, though.

mortuus lark…maybe you haven’t been keeping up with current events. See Obama and the DNC stole the primary from Hillary. So she isn’t the Commander in Chief who could order a rescue if it was in order. She is the S.O.S. and not in the military chain of command. She in fact, could not order the lowest private in the Army to salute her. Your bias against her is plain and simple BS. If you want to blame anyone, it should be Obama. He is the one who could order negotiations for their release or a rescue attempt if warranted. But of course, everyone here realizes. You don’t care about facts or laws. Only hearing your own mouth run to blame Hillary for everything.

  • mortuus lark

she doesn’t have to send the Marines, she just have to say she is going to send the Marines. No more.

  • mortuus lark

This is just a fiasco. If Hillary can’t take charge of two silly women and one silly judge and one even sillier prosecutor in Haiti, what can she take charge of?

  • Steel Magnolia

Love is a many splendored thing……

  • candymarl

She can’t say that. What is about that you don’t get? She has no authority over the  Marines.  Having lived/traveled overseas these people aren’t stupid. Some of them know American history better than some Americans. Obviously better than you do. Obama can say he’ll send in the Marines unless these people are released. Obama is the CIC not Hillary. I worked for the government idiot. I’ve worked with Marines.Buy a clue.

  • mortuus lark

Like Obama she can say a stupid thing and then say she said a stupid thing – whatever – she just needs to say something – anything.

This is Hillary after meeting Cristina, Bechelet, Lula

“Hi Hillary, and how are those two Christian ladies that are being held unjustifiably in Haiti by an amateur judge? Because here in (Argentina, Chile, Brazil) Christians do a hell of a lot of good all over the place taking care of children. What’s the matter with those two?

  • candymarl

Uh maybe because Haiti is a sovereign nation, not a US protectorate/colony, so she can’t tell them what to do?

Funny, when GWB and friends ran roughshod over independent states  there were  howls of protest.  Now we should, as any good Empire would do, tell a nation-state what they better or better not do.

“Clowns to the Left of me Jokers to the Right. Here I am stuck in the middle with you.”

  • mortuus lark

She can tell them to go to hell if they don’t release those two women in less than 20 minutes. Don’t you understand that the judge has said he found no criminal cause to prosecute them.

  • mortuus lark

She can tell them to go to hell if they don’t release those two women in less than 20 minutes. Don’t you understand that the judge has said he found no criminal cause to prosecute them. They been in jail now for over 5 weeks. Hillary should be ashamed.

  • mortuus lark

The men were released. These are very vulnerable women, no husbands, divorced, etc. What the hell do we have a DOS for?

  • candymarl

So the President, who can acutally authorize a military rescue, doesn’t need to say anything.

Yet if Hillary says a stupid thing you’ll say “why did she say such a stupid thing?” These are sovereign nations. It’s not her job to promote or defend any religion.  Look it up. Lots of people from different faiths or no belief system at all do good things for people all over the world.  There are also so-called Chriistians, of different sects,  that molest children. I’m done.

I’m talking to a person that keeps changing the subject. I should know better. I was warned. Apologies.

  • candymarl

Fine. Then Obama should send in the Marines, Seals, Special Forces etc. He’s the CIC.  If Hillary is failing, because according to you the DOS and SOS can’t do it.  Then Obama should step up.

The women go free problem solved.

    a)
The Senate bill has been publicly available for many weeks now, the CBO has scored it
    b)
The director of the Congressional Budget Office, Doug Elmendorf, said today that President Obama’s health care proposal isn’t detailed enough to score.

So Pbot, if you say it’s the senate version, why can’t it be scored? Are you that dellusional to think they are the same ?

on top of which, and here’s the major pumkin in your patch. Wait for it.

“Therefore, CBO cannot provide a cost estimate for the proposal without additional detail, and, even if such detail were provided, analyzing the proposal would be a time-consuming process that could not be completed this week.”

BO could not provide DETAILS. That is because he is not competent. He has his name on a vague POS, which reflects who he is.

wake up jackie not all single mothers have families around to raise their kids and send them to private schools etc.

you need to go outside sometime, visit a local woman/child refuge and see what happens once the mothers and children move on.
Not all single mothers have a family you may find that odd but it’s very true.

Hey Docelder. Nascar is the need for speed. They go round and round, true; but that is the only thing they have in common.
It takes a great deal of time money and effort for let’s say, an orginization like Hendricks Motors to field 4 teams that stay up front. It is an accomplishment to win 4 seasons in a row.
If BO had any idea how that is done, we would not be were we are. Stuck with a piss power pit crew, motors that blow up  and one bigass whiny ass punk behind the wheel.

Yes, I am a nascar fan.

I love Lady Lynn.  I saw her at a Sarah Palin rally.  Like her I have been a Dem all my life.  I cannot understand how the party got taken over by these leftist whack jobs and why in the world the Dems would allow their party to be destroy because of one man’s ego.  I switched parties after I saw what happened to Hillary.  I can’t see any reason to go back because I will never trust these people again.

  • Breeze

    He said it THREE times!!!

  • Docelder

The dark lark deleted that comment as well. Hmm. Replying to these is truly a fools game. O.K. you got me. I might learn slow, but I do learn.

  • mortuus lark

Docelder first that comment of mine from yesterday was old and decrepit and cold and by now stupid – you wouldn’t want to reply to something that old, decrepit, cold, and stupid would you? No. So don’t be sorrying about that.

Second, learn – learn that yesterday was yesterday and today today.

Third, I have seen in your cage before that you errased a lot of your old postings. So what’s different – a day or two difference. Not that big of deal.

Fourth - today is a brand new day according to God. Lets rejoyce and be glad in it.

Ah yes, the hallmark of NQ: hate speech. Nice post, HC. And no, I’m not leaving. I’m definitely going to stick around to celebrate when the health care bill passes. And there are a number of people who can always be counted for actual conversation. You not included, of course.

How do Hillary Clinton feels today?

Met with Bechelet – a female – President of Chile
Met with Cristina – President of Argentina
Just met with Laura Chinchillar – President Elect of Costa Rica

Hillary Clinton – President NOT of the United States. Why?
Because of her adopted name: Surrender w/Smile Tonto.

    You are such an ass.

    Hillary Clinton

In San Jose she sits down with female entrepreneurs and attends a Pathways to Prosperity roundtable, a Bush-era initiative involving 14 regional countries whose foreign ministers meet to promote economic development, democracy and women’s rights.

His house is listed in the historical registry of Chicago if you recall MO jammed the previous owners to sell it to her “or else”…she was on the board that oversaw the compliance for such structure, and left several weeks after escrow.

The Obamas knew of this property along time before it came on the market…just ask the nieghbor ascross the street.

The deed was held in a Northern Trust  trust account. The Broadway bank guy and Rezko and Obama knew each other well.

It may be valued at 1.8, minus the security upgrades, but the actual cost was way more than will ever be known. The sales of the house and they way it the sale occured was illegal on several counts and everyone ignored it. From influencingpeddling  to kickbacks the house with the wooden floors and wine celler, that BO toured prior to buyinging in the company of a now convicted felon …well he is still touring with felons they just have no convictions.

This is BO, house hunting with convicted felons. And how many millions voted for a emotional con dream and not him?
