Blood running cold does not even begin to describe it. Because we were so close to the border, advanced warning was practically non-existent. Regardless of how SOS Clinton spends her time and Mels low opinion of Gates, it is BO's responsibility not those of his subordinates. the SOS and SecDef have in the last 30 years have been at odds with each other.    Priorities that are unified in purpose and direction takes a quality completely void in BO's cosmology.     I have an issue calling Afghanistan a "fools errand" when I read comments from American families with sons and daughters on 3rd and 4th deployments.     Part of me knows Mr. Goodman is correct about Afghanistan 'cause that is historically what some view it as.
