The Cat’s Out Of The Bag

Okey dokey – so the big Veep selection is out, as you have surely heard by now: Joe Biden. Wow. All of this hoopla for HIM?? Frankly speaking, I am not a huge fan of his. Post 9/11, he found every opportunity to get his photo taken with President Bush in the Rose Garden. Oh, and all you one-note Obamarosa* cultists? He voted to authorize the Resolution on Iraq. So put that in your pipes and smoke it.

But here’s the thing: the popular vote winner, the one who “would be on anyone’s short list,” according to Obama – just not HIS, apparently, as she was not vetted (then again, Obamarosa hasn’t been either). Huh. I guess he wasn’t all that “sincere” after all.

Add to that the incredibly petty, childish, vindictive, flat out punkish move to release this information at 3:00 a.m.. 3:00 a.m., get it?? As in a 3:00 a.m. phone call?? Yeah. That’s the way to bring the Hillary supporters into the fold, Mr. Hopey Changey Unity Unicorn Man. Never mind those of us with any sense of decency. It is just plain bad form to drive a knife into the back of the one who bested you in votes. Just sayin’.

The choice alone, as many have pointed out already, demonstrates Obama’s GLARING weakness – experience. By him picking Biden (ugh), he is saying loud and clear that he does not have enough experience. Heck – BIDEN said he didn’t have enough experience (see this piece at No Quarter).

Funny, that is exactly what the poll done in the South said, too, in this article:
McCain Leads Big In South
Voters say honesty, experience, shared values important

Yep. The voters in the South seem to be taken more with experience, perceived honesty, and demonstrated leadership than “just words.” I’ll let the article speak for itself:

COLUMBIA — Republican U.S. Sen. John McCain enjoys a 16-point lead — 51 percent to 35 percent — among Southern voters over rival Democratic U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, a new poll by Winthrop University and ETV shows.

And, the further into the South you go, the larger McCain’s lead grows, the poll of likely voters in 11 Southern states shows.

Likely voters in the Deep South — those in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and South Carolina — preferred McCain by a 25-point margin, 56 percent to 31 percent.

Southern voters said what they want most in a president is honesty, experience and shared values. Southern voters rated McCain ahead of Obama in each of those categories.

McCain’s strongest support comes from white working-class Southerners — who favor him by a 34-point margin — and white evangelicals — who favor the Arizonan by 54 percentage points.

The poll, which was conducted Aug. 1-17, has a margin of error of (plus or minus) 2.97 percentage points.

While political pundits have made much of Obama and Democrats trying to win over a Southern state or two from the Republicans in November, the Winthrop/ETV poll shows that will prove difficult.

“It’s about keeping John McCain from sweeping the South. That’s the key,” said Scott Huffmon, associate professor of political science at Winthrop and director of the Winthrop/ETV Poll.

Rather than attempting to contest the presidential race across the South, a wiser strategy for Obama would be to concentrate on the closely contested Southern states, Huffmon said. “You cannot fight a regional battle anymore.”

Individual state-by-state polls have shown Obama within striking distance of McCain in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia.

Those states account for 70 votes that are up for grabs. The 11 Southern states in this poll will award 161 electoral votes, and 270 electoral votes are needed to win the presidency.

On the issues, McCain trumped Obama nearly across the board in the poll.

The economy easily was the most important issue to Southern voters in the upcoming presidential election. McCain bested Obama on which candidate would handle energy and gas prices better, and who would do the better job on taxes.

McCain also far out-distanced Obama on who would do a better job of handling the Iraq war and terrorism.

None of that surprised Jeanette Smith of Chapin, S.C., who described McCain as honest and decisive, strong on national security and unlikely to be manipulated by a foreign government.

“The economy and national security are neck and neck for me,” said Smith, a 54-year-old bookkeeper and mother of four. “In fact, I’m not even sure they are separate issues.”

On illegal immigration, sometimes an Achilles’ heel for McCain, and moral values, the four-term senior senator from Arizona again stood taller with Southern voters than Obama.

“Illegal immigration needs to be controlled,” said 76-year-old Evelyn Perry of Fort Mill, S.C., who was among those surveyed. “I just haven’t really understood what (McCain’s position) is on that — but it needs to be controlled.”

Even without those specifics, Perry said she trusts McCain more. “Overall, I just think McCain understands better.”

However, in a glimmer of hope for the Democratic nominee-to-be, more likely Southern voters polled said Obama “understands the problems Americans face in their daily lives” better than McCain does.

However, Deep South and working-class white voters disagreed, saying McCain understands them best.

“Senator Obama has a great deal of work to do if he plans to turn the Southern states in his favor,” said Adolphus Belk Jr., who helped design the poll and teaches political science and African-American Studies at Winthrop.

Belk said Obama has to do a better job at defining himself for voters, moving beyond simply being a new face on the national stage. Obama also has to overcome religious and ethnic misinformation that continues to plague his candidacy, Belk said.

That’s no short order in the South, either, said Obama supporter John Hines Jr. of Effingham, S.C.. “For older Americans, I think color is still an issue,” said the 53-year-old paper maker.

Of those polled, 86 percent said race would not be an important factor in how they choose to vote.

However, a quarter of all likely Southern voters surveyed said that if a candidate had a Muslim parent, it would impact their votes. Obama, who is a Christian, had a Muslim father.

Huh – imagine that. RACE is not that big of a factor down here in the South, despite the numerous attempts to paint us all as racist yahoos. No, not racist, just not willing to back the least qualified candidate ever to grace the national stage. IMHO, that is. Now, if CLINTON was in this mix, I think this story would be completely different. Again, not race, but having TWO qualified candidates from which to choose. (Again, I will say that I am not pro-McCain. I am pro-DEMOCRACY, and that is something the DNC has showed very little of of late.)

The Comments at this article were very interesting too. One said he’d vote for Spongebob before Obama. Others made fun of Obama for talking about McCain’s houses when Obama pulled in $4 mil this year. Uh, yeah. Like I said, people in glass houses…And this was before the BIden choice.

So, once again, picking Biden just shows up Obama’s weaknesses. I don’t think having a Vice President who has the experience is enough. Especially when the inexperienced guy is running against the experienced guy. Huh. I guess the only way to solve this little dilemma is for the Conventioneers to pick the candidate who could actually win against McCain. That’s not Obama. Just sayin’.

* Great thanks to “Jeremiah” and asimon for coming up with this name. There was another great comment last night. “Jill L” said she was hoping for Daniel Akaka, then the bumper sticker would be “Obamakaka”! What clever folks at No Quarter!!

The fact that Obama chose Biden instead of Delaware tells me that Howard Dean, Kerry and Gore were all in on this. All three had their asses handed to them, and they would be damned if Hillary became VEEP and eventually President.

Serious misogynist tactics in the Democrat Party.

Obama is extremely stupid for not “attempting” to consider Hillary as VEEP.

Truly, I think Hillary is happy about not being picked. She knows damn well Obama is a house of cards. Hillary will run in 2012. She’s already accepting funds to prepare for that.

Biden can offer Delaware. Hillary had millions to offer. Obama is a house of cards. He chose Biden and can no longer say he is a candidate of change. Obama chose the status quo with BIDEN.

Ladies and Gentleman…….McCain will be the next President of the United States of America. The war drums have played, and we are rested and ready for political war against the Obamanation.

    Dear Reverend,

You know that Barky’s hopey changey text messagey two thumbs while driving Obots were still up at 3 am on a Friday night. If you’re young and hip – 3 AM is the time to send a message. All those bitter old white people were home in bed…losers.

Truth is I heard the news on Fox about 1 AM anyway. I didn’t need Barky’s communique. And I’m glad he didn’t choose Hillary. I could not stand to see Bill have to make nice with that nasty Michele for 4 years.

Isn’t Biden a sexist jerk too? Let me dig up my Anita Hill files….hmmmm.

I’d love to see Professor Hill do a commercial for McCain.

  • emj

Clinton 2008! Only question is who she will pick as her VP.

Meanwhile, follow the suit in Fed. Court in Philadelphia – brought by Philip Berg saying Obama doesn’t meet constitutional qualifications to be Pres.

Talk about vetting — turns out Obama has never been vetted by the DNC!! Now there’s a story!

  • Cooney

There is only one conclusion to this pick and that is Hillary told him long ago, absolutely NO. Everyone thinks he is too narcissistic to pick Hillary, but my take is Hillary did not want it. Hence the 3 am text, he told her F you. She wants him to fail. So bravo, Hill. Now, my money is on McCain will pick a woman. Then McCain gets all Hill’s followers and insures a loss for Obama. Hillary in 2012.

  • knotfourhymn

I agree that at least an appearance of considering Senator Clinton as a running mate would have been better politics on Obama’s part, but I am actually very glad she is not up there. It’s been difficult enough to hear her stump for him since early June.

Well, at least the waiting is only for a matter of a few more days. Either the superdelegates will pull back from the ledge and nominate someone who can actually win the general election, or I get to practice saying “President McCain” months before that phrase is official.

  • Susan1968

This only proves that Obama’s advisors (Dean-Pelosi-Brazile) are abject MORONS.

Let me tell you something, you lurking
    Obama monitors.

Yeah, I was pissed the way Hillary & Bill were bamboozled in the primary. Painting Bill as a racist? I was MORTIFIED.

For several weeks I swore I wouldn’t vote for Obama, no way no how.

Then I shifted into the undecided camp. I paid close attention to everything he did. His Europe trip gave me a queasy “Brave New World” vibe. Didn’t like it.

His performance at Saddleback – hmmm, made me ummm, ummm, ummm, unconfortable.

But still I was looking for a reason to VOTE FOR HIM. And one reason would have been his VP choice:

HRC: 18-million votes and a sure gesture of party unity.

BIDEN: 5-thousand votes and a history of losing his bids for presidency.

You blew it! How many PUMAS would have shifted back to Obama if he chose her?

HOW many? Way more than Biden will ever get you.

At this point in time, you will not gain any republican votes. Your only hope was pulling the Hillary loyalists back into the fold.

    You BLEW IT!

Don’t fall back on the “But Bill Clinton’s baggae…” bull.

In the middle of the GOP’s attempt to impeach Bill, President Bill Clinton had a 70% APPROVAL RATING.

What does that tell you, dummies?

You’re all as out of touch with the majority of Americans as the MSM is.

You actually beleive Keith Olbermann speaks for the majority of the USA. Morons!

    YOU BLEW IT!

I’m glad you brought up the ugliness/pettiness of the 3:00 am phone call. It burns me up.

This guy uses a text message, sent out at 3:00 am, to notify people of his VP selection. The time was specifically chosen as a message to HRC and her supporters. And he thinks and tells people he can bring people together? This is not the caliber of person I would choose for a friend and not the caliber of person I would ever pick for the POTUS.

Obama is a trivial little person. Granted he’s in the limelight, but how you see him act now is how he will act in the future. With competition he resorts to trivial little maneuvers to discourage or punish viewpoints against his own. Think about how this will play out in world politics. I truly believe this man is one of the biggest dangers to us.

He doesn’t like what Putin/Achmenijad/Kim Jong Il/Chavez, etc says…he pulls trivial little tricks belittling them. He’s condescending and dangerous; and I don’t believe him competent to be vying for the position of POTUS.

Watch what this man does, not what he says. He can’t handle diplomacy within his own party…don’t expect for him to change when it comes to being the POTUS of ALL Americans or world politics. He’s an infant.

I don’t think both Hillary and Obama like each other. • Peter D

Obama becames Super when he started to run against Hillary who has been famous around the Globe and for her patriotism. In this case, the people don’t know the truth about this empty suite. when there are any critics about Obama, people would say it is just propaganda. That is the fact.

    Wake up America!

  • Susan1968

    So true.

This choice reeks of Dean-Pelosi-Brazille pretzel logic.

I like Biden in small doses. Very small does.

But his crossing the aisle to vote FOR bush’s bankruptcy bill and thus opening the door for predatory lending (to pay back his BiG BANKING INDUSTRY fundraisers helping his lobbyist son), turns me off.

Joe has proven by his losing bids for the presidency that he succeeds in turning off Democrats.

Kucinich got more votes than Biden did in the primary.

Obama is clearly wrapped in the insulation of party wonk advice.

He doesn’t see or hear the voters any more.

He’s as divorced from reality as GWBush.

  • beebop

hahahahahahahaha goodness that is funny as hell ….

I think the 3 a.m. text message was to imply “I’m awake but you’re not,” so I doubt they were trying to stick it to HRC supporters.

As for the Biden choice, doesn’t make sense. Someone should point out the lack of management and judgement by the Obama team on all fronts. The meme they were such great managers was irritating. Look at how the DNC, Obama has managed things since the end of the primary season. It’s not very smart alienating HRC supporters or allowing continued attacks on HRC.

What Obama should have done if he had “judgement” was pick an outsider, supposedly like himself (though he’s not but let’s go with the `outsider fresh’ thing), and then say “we’re fresh and going to change the face of Washington making it work through bipartisan strategies.” For the experience issue, he could have presented a sketch of cabinet showing people of experience, with Biden as SOS, etc.

    Amy: excellent post!!

Should be “The Attack Dog is out of the cage”. Obama needed someone willing to “speak up him mind” sharply so that he can continue talking about “Hope”since you know Obama couldn’t be bothered with all those “details”…

Here is BTD “analysis of their joint appearance today”.
I guess that Biden lines today + securing PA is all what the Obama camp were after (by the way ABC said Biden had been coaching Obama on how to speak to the blue collar/working class….):

3:10 pm EDT -Pretty typical event. Not particularly interesting or exciting. The event seems flat to me. Obama’s intro is kind of weak to boot. Not great so far. Maybe when Biden gets his chance to praise Obama the excitement level will go up.

3:18 pm EDT – Obama picks up the energy level when he goes back into campaign rhetoric. Introduces Joe Biden.

3:22 pm EDT – Biden looks good and seems full of energy. His speech’s theme is NO Bush’s Third Term. That is excellent. IF that will be Biden’s theme, then should have had him out on the stump a few weeks ago. Gets off a good zinger on McCain’s “7 kitchen tables.”

3:28 pm EDT – “Literally?” Enough with the literally. It is simply bad usage and annoying.

3:35 pm EDT – A good VP speech, some of the annoying Biden tics show, but all in all, he’ll do, so long as the McCain = Bush’s Third Term is his theme. Sounds like it will be. The event was a little rough but it was fine. Nothing special, but good enough I think. Too bad it was on a Saturday instead of last Tuesday.

The fact that I – a dyed-in-the-wool, vote straight DEM ticket every time – was undecided at all only proes how bad Obama was.

I was looking for a reason to vote for him because it’s hard for me to hit the GOP lever in the voting booth.

Blame it on my HOPE that Obama could CHANGE enough by November that I could remain loyal to my party and vote for him.

Choosing Hillary as VP — would have made it harder for someone like me to vote GOP once I stepped into that voting booth.

And I’m sure there are a lot of people like me.

I guess I should thank Obama. He CHANGED me enough to feel good about voting for McCain now.

Biden supported the MBNA bill – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MBNA#Politics – this is the bill that the banks worked for, for years, to make it far more difficult to declare bankruptcy. Biden lives in a state that rapes other states, with its corporate laws. Ever wonder why so many corporations are registered as Delaware corporations?

Americans need to start hearing about Biden’s collusion with the banking industry, and how that has hurt the “average” Joe, and helped enrich this one particular Joe.

  • HARP

WAKE UP PEOPLE….time to convince more of our friends and neighbors how dangerous this man is.

Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said on February 23rd, 2008, that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the “hope of the entire world.”

“This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better,” he said. “This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama’s audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed.”

Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion’s founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.

“A black man with a white mother became a savior to us,” he told the crowd of mostly followers. “A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.”

Farrakhan rebuilt the Nation of Islam, which promotes black empowerment and nationalism, in the late 1970′s after W.D. Mohammed, the son of longtime leader Elijah Mohammed, moved his followers toward mainstream Islam.

Farrakhan has drawn attention for calling Judaism a “gutter religion” and suggesting crack cocaine might have been a CIA plot to enslave blacks.

Can’t believe it. How does anyone pick a VP who said Obama wasn’t ready yet!?!? Unless Biden did it for show at the time and maybe him and Obama know each other well…but then I don’t care!!!

It is not HRC’s duty to have her supporters vote for Obama. He is suppose to convince us of his sincerety, and by way of issues, is how he would be able to swing our vote his way. And, he hasn’t done it.

In fact, because of his dumb remarks (like get over it) and issues like the video 52 Seconds, and the list is endless, Obama has made far more Americans than 18 Million HRC supporters very doubtful of him as predidential material.

I don’t know what happened before May 31, 2008, but it became pretty clear that the democratic party was fawning all over Obama. HRC has been around for awhile and a newbie comes forward and instead of thinking about OUR COUNTRY first, the democratic party decide well we’ll put the 1st African American on the ballot for the general election regardless of his credentials.

HRC saw the writing on the wall, but she saw it through to the end so that every State voted. And, anyone who thinks that that was easy….BS. She was fighting for democracy.

I wonder when all is said and done and the history books show what the MSM, the DNC, etc. did to an exceptional candidate with experience and who has been vetted….well, I just wonder if all their BS will be worth it to them.

And, they have the nerve to pretend that it wasn’t sexist or that they still aren’t treating women as second class citizens.

I’m so happy that Philip J. Berg, Esq. has brought a lawsuit against Obama and the DNC. I have made calls to try to get someone to make a formal complaint for me. I even wrote to VP Cheney.

I don’t want HRC to turn over her delegates to Obama. I don’t think that under the circumstances Obama would ever give her his delegates. He would fight to the bitter end so why shouldn’t she and let the chips fall where they may. I’d let everyone go on record to show how the fix was in to begin with. I would NOT let anyone off the hook.

HRC should let the democratic constituents see how the democratic party really operates. How the heck can anyone justify using affirmative action to try to get an African American into the White House.

What’s the matter….can’t Obama work hard like Condoleeza Rice, Honorable Judge Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, etc. If African American leaders would back up an experienced candidate instead of having the likes of Sharpton or Obama, who is so similar but dresses better and smiles more. Then maybe the tide would have turned a long time ago.

But….then the African American leaders couldn’t keep ranting and raving about racism and discrimination.

Right now in America, the majority of families are inter-racial….I’m sure I’m not saying anything that others haven’t said before.

So, shame on the democratic party for placing HRC in the position of feeling that she might loose it all, even her being re-elected as a Senator, which is what part of this is about, if she doesn’t tow the line for Obama and the DNC and the supposed unity of the democratic party. I guess they think the democratic voters are blind or idiots.

IMO, let the democratic party flush themselves down the toilet!!!

McCain on “Above my pay grade” remark

Here was a candidate for the presidency of the United States, asked for his position on one of the central moral and legal questions of our time, and this was the best he could offer: It’s above his pay grade. He went on to assure his interviewer that there is a, quote, moral and ethical element to this issue. Americans expect more of their leaders. There seems to be a pattern here in my opponent’s approach to many hard issues. Whether it’s the surge in Iraq that has brought us near to victory, or the issue of campaign reform, or the question of offshore drilling, Senator Obama’s speeches can be impressive. But when it’s time for straight answers, clear conviction, and decisive action, suddenly all of these responsibilities are well, as he puts it, above my pay grade. As mottos of leadership go, it doesn’t exactly have the ring of the buck stops here.

  • Ferdberfle

WAKE UP PEOPLE….time to convince more of our friends and neighbors how dangerous this man is

Agreed. There are many of us out here doing just that. I am getting ready to put up a McCain sign the minute Obarky is nominated. I have also had long discussions with coworkers and neighbors as well about just how bad junior would be as president. Fortunately, I have yet to meet anyone who is gung-ho for junior.

I seem to recall having gotten nothing but hostility, insults and ridicule around here on the many occasions when I tried to make a case for an Obama/Clinton ticket.

Now this woeful, angry lamentation about wrongful rejection? Please.

For all we know, it may have been Clinton who rejected Obama. She might not want the VP slot. She might believe Obama’s chances are unfavorable, and not want to be on a losing ticket. She might have her eye on an important appointment if Obama wins, thinking that would empower her more and be the launching pad for another run at the White House.

Clinton is now in a position to support Barack Obama, while keeping her own options totally open.

This whole thing has been dreadful and disappointing. Hillary was attacked by The One and His followers for her IWR vote, now The One chooses Biden who voted FOR the war – just another in a long line of events that expose Obama as a fraud. The man simply has no convictions save for furthering himself at any cost.

NEVER has a “Democrat” pushed me to consider voting for a Republican.

  • Katmoon

    Doris, You said it well

It is not HRC’s duty to have her supporters vote for Obama. He is suppose to convince us of his sincerety, and by way of issues, is how he would be able to swing our vote his way. And, he hasn’t done it.

This is after all a campaign; in which voters, vote.

voter- a person who has a right to vote; elector, esp. one who actually votes

vote 1.a. A formal expression of preference for a candidate for office or for a proposed resolution of an issue.
    b. A means by which such a preference is made known, such as a raised hand or a marked ballot.

I only see preference there, not obligation.

I see I have the right; my vote my choice

I think the DNC will have an interesting Day on November 4, when we formally express our preference.

Any one got the other gaffe from Biden when he called Obama Barack America. WOW these two are going to be so very entertaining a gaffe a minute lol

  • Salsha

For a second I thought she could pick Obama as veep – since not being a natural born citizen he can’t be Prez, so she won’t have to worry so much about joining the Obama body count – but even to be veep you got to be a citizen, and that’s not looking too good for him now.

The Judge in Berg’s lawsuit should subpoena the Hawaii vital records authorities to supply a hospital birth certificate or the lack thereof within 24 hours (and not just a birth registration, fake or otherwise).

I agree it’s amazing they never vetted him. They have spent billions on their puppet and never even checked if he was eligible to be Prez? If it’s true it sure tells a lot – the powers that be are not as smart as they think they are, not by a long shot. In fact if they didn’t own the media to constantly cover up their messes, they’d look like total fools all the time.

  • Ai1een

    TwoTermObama –
When Obama loses his ass this November you’ll realize that your name is appropos. For all the media will then be saying, Obama SHOULD have served two terms before he decided to run for President of the United States. As a matter of fact – that’s what Americans are saying NOW.

The 3 AM (EDT) Text was not the original plan. The original plan was for it to go out at 5 AM (EDT) but Fox and CNN broke the news at just before 11 PM (EDT) and by midnight the news was hitting the blogs and newspapers. They were forced to up the time because of their promise of “you’ll be the first to know.” In this sense for the Obama campaign, the process was poorly managed. And the text wasn’t sent at 3 AM on the nose either. More like 3:12 AM.

So don’t get carried away, either. You’re trying to make a tempest in a teapot when in reality the facts are otherwise. The bottom line is that this whole VP rollout was a stunt that leaves the Obama campaign with some egg on their face. For starters, they didn’t even inform Biden until late Thursday when apparently had made the decision on late Monday or early Tuesday. It is was stupid deciion not to announce it mid-week.

  • Joy

Salsha, who is the “they” you keep referring to?

  • It’s Not Me

There’s so much fodder on Biden! BO couldn’t have picked a better (worse) VP!

MBNA has been the No. 1 donor to Senator Biden’s campaigns since 1993 and has made substantial contributions to Senator Snowe and Representative Michael N. Castle, Republican of Delaware. Combined, those three politicians have received more than $700,000 from MBNA and its employees since 1993, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a research group in Washington that tracks money in politics.

What did MBNA get for all that money? While Mr. Biden’s main work has been on the Foreign Relations Committee, he has been a consistent advocate for MBNA. He has actively supported the company’s favorite federal legislation, the Bankruptcy Reform Act, which would make it more difficult for consumers to escape their credit card debt.

Senator Biden shepherded the bankruptcy legislation along by taking the unusual tack of inserting it into a foreign relations bill in 2000, said his spokesman, Norm Kurz. But Mr. Kurz added that Mr. Biden said he would have backed the bill whether or not he was from Delaware or had received MBNA donations.

”This bill is clearly a giveaway to the credit card industry, and free-spending MBNA has been at the head of the pack,” said Travis Plunkett, legislative director of the Consumer Federation of America.

The company also has ties to Senator Biden’s son, R. Hunter Biden, a lawyer in Washington. Hunter Biden joined MBNA as a management trainee after graduating from Yale Law School and rose to be an executive vice president. Now a partner in Oldaker, Biden & Belair, a lobbying and law firm, he receives a $100,000 annual retainer from MBNA to advise it on ”the Internet and privacy law,” Mr. Freeh said. He added that Hunter Biden was not a registered lobbyist and did not lobby on legislation for the company.

I don’t agree with him on his ideology but I am 100% confident that he would be an awesome and effective President in turning our country around. Obama and the new Democratic Party certain told America what they think of women. They didn’t even vet Hillary. Instead of having a women as the VP choice, Obama picked a white male.

Not that there is anything wrong with white males but so much for the CHANGE Obama has been saying he is going to bring about.

Obama and the new Democratic Party truly do view women as second class citizens only to be abused verbally (as witnessed during the primary) and then commanded by the Messiah and his minions to unite with a political party that does not represent the best interests of women or America.

Hillary is too good to be associated with Obama. There is no way the good old boy network of the new Democratic Party will let an intelligent woman gain the highest office in the country.

The new Democratic Party clearly believes women are to be seen (e.g., in strip clubs, x-rated magazines), clean houses, cook meals, bring in extra cash that can be used by the boys, and NOT be in positions of power.

All women, and men who care about equality, should be furious at the new Democratic Party.

  • nosheep

lmao……When Biden said that Obama was “articulate and clean”, it wasnt much longer when i first heard ‘BARACK THE MAGIC NEGRO”, on rush limbaughs show. I HOPE HE KEEPS PLAYING IT, THEY HAVE THREATENED RUSH TO STOP PLAYING THAT SONG, BUT HE CERTAINLY ISNT AFRAID OF oliar. I cant stand rush, but that song is funny !

    Clinton supporters:

Don’t worry about Obama. The bigger they THINK they are, the harder they will fall.

Trust me. Clinton did not want to be with this pitiful excuse of Hawaiian dirt.

Let him fall and you will see Biden trying to save his own middle age white ass.

  • Kato

I think you said it best, very concise and to the point.

Why does everyone have to be vetted but Obama? You would think the presidential candidate would be first to be vetted.

I would like to see them as tyrannical monarchs who execute all of the idiots in politics (Dean, Pelosi, Brazilla, Slowbama) and give every citizen free health care and a $1,000 stimulus check each year of their reign.

I wouldn’t mind being under a Clinton Tyranny. Better than being under a Tyranny of Idiots, which will be for real if this moron Obama gets elected.

Could Biden end up being the nominee, If Obama is out after Thursday nite… What happens to Clinton? She’s the one that held her delegates..I hope she never releases them..

Obama is such a loser, even with Biden

  • Newly Independent

    Yep.

Delaware and South Dakota, I think, have no usury laws. The major banks flocked to these two states (and a few more) to legally get away with charging whatever interest rates they wanted to charge on loans and credit cards. And Biden and Obama are in bed with the big banking crooks.

    Wonderful.

  • http://safari AnnieCarmel

Yeah, and don’t forget Pelosi in this cabal. I am extremely happy that Hillary dodged this disaster. What I won’t forget is how it was done. They essentially spit in the faces of the Clintons. That tells me how greed and hunger for power overwhelmed their judgement. I will not vote democratic party again until there’s been a total house cleaning. Straight Republican ticket this time…and the first time ever.

  • Newly Independent

So let me get this straight: Since Farrakhan praised Obama, he’s a threat now? Please enlighten me.

    You can’t be serious.

You need considerably more than enlightenment. You need a brain overhaul and prayer.

Hillary has two options now: 1. go along with the show in Denver and forever go down as someone who has no true convictions and is interested only in the political game; or 2. take what’s rightfully hers and show her true mettle.

In a way, I know it’s a lose-lose, but I think I’m going to puke if she gets up on the podium and praises Obama bi(n La)den after everything he and his team has done to her.

It’s a bit of a stretch to do the Osama thing, I think.

Sen. Hillary Clinton won her seat after her husband was impeached and threatened with jail…The truth of the DNC is now for all to see…They are threatening her again. I hope that the superdelegates wake up and change their votes. Our country has been so fortunate. Remember, FDR was a surprise convention pick! Hillary is our last hope!!!

I have to agree w this. To hell w the Democratic party after the shitty way they have treated her. She can still help alot of people wo being a politician. I hold principles dear and I couldn’t stand up there and praise someone who I didn’t believe in and who I thought didn’t deserve it. She will be losing a lot of support when she does this as I guess she will.

Yeah. That’s the way to bring the Hillary supporters into the fold, Mr. Hopey Changey Unity Unicorn Man.

Sister, stop pretending that there’s anything Obama could do to bring you fanatics into the fold. As far as the PUMA types are concerned, Obama must fail… so as to clear the path for HIllary in ’12. So why should he take your tender feelings into account?

WOW. WHAT A COMBINATION, OBAMA BIN BIDEN. THAT IS PRICELESS. SEN. HILLARY CLINTON WOULD NOT/COULD NOT BE THE V.P. I WOULDN’T WANT SEN. HILLARY CLINTON TO BE THE VP – SHE EARNED AND GOT THE POPULAR VOTES OF OVER 18M VOTERS. HE STOLE IT AND SEN. CLINTON WON – SHE IS THE VIABLE AND ELECTABLE NOMINEE FOR THE PRESIDENCY – NO BACK SEAT FOR HER. I WOULD JUST LOVE TO SEE HER GET THE NOMINATION AT THE CONVENTION. WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR A CELEBRATION.

  • http://BHOtroll mary

    Lisa this is great!

He is just a ‘punk kid’ vindictive, petty, petulant, bitchy and never misses a chance to twist the knife in Hillary’s back!

Barbiebama did just that back in N.C. the day after his pathetic performance in Pa. at the ABC debate where he stutteringly lost his marbles. He appeared on stage doing a JayZ rapper wannabe vicious insulting act agianst Hillary:

“Obama Gives HIllary the Finger” – youtube mega-hit

He showed by flip-offing her like a juvenile vicious little punk that he is as immature as his gangster dudes who harass 80-year old African Americcan women in Texas and elsewhere. all documented in “WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED” gigi’s video!

Sweetie will see the DNC ceiling shattered beyond repair November 5th and the light should cure the dirty rat from his megalomania and narcissistic disorder.

SWEETIE, HUMILITY IS ON THE WAY for your BITCHY VINDICTIVE, punk-kid mentality.

november 5th Sweetie gets his 3:00AM call …when the ceiling collapses…

Yes! You’re absolutely right. You’d expect this stunt at 3:00 am. and text messaging(!) from a teenager, which Obamarama IS.

did you see his youtube ignominious “Obama Gives Hillary the Finger”!!

This punk has not matured as was posted here at NoQ yesterday psychologically to get a dog catcher’s job at the White House, never mind offering his anorexic resume for the Top Job!

It’s a cruel joke by the unDemocratic Party!

Sweetie will learn his lesson in November!

PUMAs are his teachers. His adult supervision by Biden does not suffice for those Hillary voters who see him as a vindictive, bitchy, knife-twisting little punk with no manners!

Guess his typical white grandma didn’t give him tough love and Uncle Jeremia didn’t have time to teach him manners…he’s just a sewer rat from Chicago’s dirty alleys…

Go PUMAS the 3rd Party alternative to the exDemocrats

Come november the baby-rat from Chicago’s sewers will learn his lesson! About time he got a SCOLDING MOTHER to teach him what his spoiled exotic prep school didn’t! Hell, McCafferty, the CNN moron, accused Hillary of being:

    “A scolding mother”

Hell, I’d think it’d be an honor to be brought up by the tough love of a scolding Mother who knows when to shut up her little angry punks…

  • http://BHOtroll mary
