It would be one thing if Obama could lead on his own, as Hillary could, then the DNC wouldn’t matter. But Obama is a figurehead. And the party behind him, well, res ipsa loquitor. The thing speaks for itself.

Was it the impressive investigative journalism and rigourous vetting that he has been subjected to by the MSM?

Or was it the resistance to allowing him to steal the nomination and game the caucus system by the DNC?

Of course, if he had, the right would be unloading on Bill and Hillary right now like they’ve never unloaded before.

Respectfully,I see McCain’s ad “Passed Over” in a different perspective from what you have voiced here.

Yes, this will be an incredibly hard week for Hillary, and she is having to do and say things that, frankly, I know in her heart of hearts she believes is bogus BS…but she will do if for the “good” of the party. (I disagree with Hillary choice to enable the Democratic Party this way b/c to enable is to keep them in this broken state – never forcing them to fix the problem).

HOWEVER, most importantly, McCain’s ad gives voice to the crux of what Hillary DID say in the campaign and FRANKLY what she ABSOLUTELY DOES believe. She didn’t just STOP believing these statements just because the Rules and Bylaws Committee illegally and disgustingly tied up Michigan and Florida’s delegates with a boy and handed them to Obama.

Therefore, I believe with everything in me that McCain’s ad running this week gives voice to Hillary’s true beliefs – beliefs that she is UNABLE to say at this time because of her role in “taking one for the team”. Down deep – I’ll bet she’s grateful as HELL for this ad and to John McCain.

As far as Hillary supporters voicing that they will vote McCain – I see nothing wrong in this. We are all Americans. We love Hillary, but in the end, she is not our puppeteer. Our vote is our individual choice and, therefore, is not a reflection on Hillary. If Hillary is no longer in the running – we have a right to choose our personal conscience.

My reasoning is this: Hillary can bank on 18 million votes in 2012. Then there is Obama’s 17 million some voters. They are not gonna coalesce around one candidate in the next election; some will go for Hillary, and others for people like John Edwards, Bill Richardson, and Chris Dodd.

So with at least 20 million people supporting her in 2012, she will have no real opposition and sweep the primaries.

Well, Greg… Obama certainly wasn’t incompetent when it came to putting together a campaign organization. And raising money from small donors. And inspiring crowds. And out-strategizing Team Clinton to a fare-thee-well.

Give credit where it’s due.

I’m still not voting for Obama, but McCain’s ad does upset me, for the very reasons Susan mentioned in her article. I agree with the ad, but I feel like when Obama loses (there’s no “ifs” about it) some people will point to this ad and say “See? It’s Hillary’s fault!”

But by November or (even more importantly) 2021, Obama will be tarnished by much more than stuff like this. The 527′s will wipe the floor with him, and this Hillary ad will be forgotten.

As I mentioned before, if Obama had picked Clinton they would have some other Ad out today, that’s easy to see.

My point was McCain’s obvious attempt to manipulate Clinton supporters seemed to be working, strange, I though they were smarter than falling for such a obvious ploy.
