Spare us the sanctimony. Women who require abortions through rape and incest have had abortions provided for them with federal funds for years.

At some point, people bear RESPONSIBLITY for their own actions. Use birth control, get the morning after pill if a pregnancy is even a possiblity. Condoms are readily avaialble, and even FREE at a number of places.

Accountability is not a bad thing, you know. It’s what grown ups do. Like Hillary, I believe abortions should be safe, legal, and RARE.

It is unfortunate that when having to chose between the teachings of the Christian religion and the Democratic party, Stupak chose the Democratic party.

He should have prayed hard before making the decision. It is awful that a man thought that he can save his soul by voting against God’s teachings.

People without health insurance avoid getting preventive care because they cannot afford full cost. People without preventive care end up with long term illnesses they could have treated earlier if they’d had insurancec. They then die sooner. Therefore, this legislation is life-giving. Not so hard to understand.

Bart Stupak is a tough call. On the one hand, he’s an anti-choice pig. On the other, his cave-in finally allowed passage of life-giving legislation that will aid millions of women across this country. I’m glad he’s leaving, but I also appreciate his critical vote. His last-minute deal with the White House was just an empty order ratifying the status quo.
