Having been ignored and pushed to the sidelines like Hillary, he could have thrown his support to McCain or just kept quiet. I can only surmise that what motivates Wes, Hillary and Bill to support Obama is that the only thing worse than having Obama in the White House would be to have 4 more years of a Republican who looks much like a carbon copy of Bush. I think we all face the question of what to do on November 4. The choices seem to be: Take a chance on Obama, go with McCain whose ideas and plans are largely a continuation of Bush's policies, throw away one's vote on some 3rd party candidate, or not vote at all. I think a lot of people may remain undecided almost until they are about to head out to the polls in November. What puzzles me is how one candidate can diss another as inexperienced, with poor judgment, and just empty words, and then, after losing the nomination, turn around and urge people to back that person. I guess if Hillary is to have a future in the Democratic party, she felt compelled to do that. Visibly working for his election, if McCain wins, the blame may not be placed on her. On the other hand, the Repubs are already using words she spoke during the campaign to diss Obama. So the sincerity of her stumping for him now must remain in question.
