MSM and Pundits Claim These Citizens Would Never Be Tea Partiers…

Tea partiers have pundits and politicians heads spinning. The movement keeps growing. The defy description or easy characterization. First insulted with the sexual slur “teabaggers,” called racist, extremist, angry white men and every other nasty name in the book, recent polling has determined they are quite representative of American demographics, many are well educated and a plurality believe their taxes are fair. A majority of them are women and now it is clear that the movement contains at least 40% Independents and Democrats.

Naturally the race baiters, race hustlers and sycophants to the current administration are frustrated. Their heads really ought to explode when they watch this video. Please enjoy some tea party folk being interviewed at these protests*…since the MSM et al are so busy tellin you there are no black Americans participating in these rallies…

I wonder what the exploding heads will say now.

Chat away.

How the world turns.  Intelligent blacks who think, stand up and act for themselves.  The Democratic Party hated and feared them in 1865, and they still hate and fear them in 2010.

I have to admit, the woman who said that she feared Obama “because he is white” has a keen sense of ironic humor.  If I have to go to a party, that’s the type of people that I want in the room with me.

Wow, so funny.  When I glanced at this post, I thought, “Oh, they probably found 6 African-Americans in a rally of 20,000 Tea Partiers?”  And then lo and be-frigging-hold, the damn video shows no more than SIX African-Americans being shown on camera and interviewed, over and over again.

    Too funny!

No, I think that just means she’s crazy.

What have the Democrat party given African Americans? Bankrupt decrepit inner city wastelands where an  institutionalized  welfare state has debased their sense of self worth while stripping away the concept of self help and self respect.  Inner city schools run by leftist teachers unions that are training grounds for survival in the U.S. penal system for the students of color as well as others.  Inner cities where the only education about saving and credit is learned from the drug dealers and not from the schools. Democrats need to maintain the ” inner ecity plantation” in order to control and repress  African Americans. They like to keep them begging for handouts while allowing corrupt Democrat AA politicians to steal all of the benefits.   Question; any Liberal Democrats even allow African Americans to clean their houses any more? nope. They hire illegal aliens for their house work. They won’t even allow African americans to mow their lawns!   Inner city African Americans need to break free of the welfare yoke and recaim their dignity. This video is a truibute to African Americans and god bless them. Amen!

“What have the Democrat party given African Americans?”

See Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Civil Rights Act of 1957, Civil Rights Act of 1964, Voting Rights Act, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, for starters.

“Question; any Liberal Democrats even allow African Americans to clean their houses any more?”

It is quite obvious from that statement the role you see African-Americans in.

  • Onofre’s arm

Well, at least you, unlike the rest of the leftist world of ignorance, can admit that there was a Tea Party with 20,000 participants. So……this puts you barely one notch above your abysmally stupid colleagues. You should celebrate the slight possibility that you’re not hopelessly crippled with a tiny disfunctional brain.

  • Jackie

I’m sure the Tea Pary relishes your denial.  It’s why they will win in November.”

“Win” is a pretty subjective term.  Every opposition party save Bush post-9/11 and FDR has won seats in the first midterm of the president they oppose.  This November won’t be any different.  It’s how many seats the Dems lose that matters, not if they do at all.  Of course they will.  It’s historically pre-determined.

  • Ani

I met a women during the Hillary campaign whose whole family practically disowned her because she was AA and wiuld not support Obama — she went for Hillary and didn’t buy what Obama was selling.  The slurs against blacks who did not support Obama were vile beyond measure.  An AA Democratic campaign operative and big Hillary fan that I knew likewise did not trust Obama and would not vote for him — he couldn’t tell any of his friends he planned to vote McCain.  I cannot imagine the pressure they received.

Now any tea partiers are called racist if they do not worship at the feet of the President and his reckless policies.  Polls have already shown — many of them — that AA tea party membership comes in at about 6%.
Given all the pressure and threats and hatefulness people who speak out against Obama have received — how many of them do you think are brave enough to be televised?  Not everyone wants to be interviewed on camera — that applies to any ethnicity.  But if you want to pretend that since 24% of the TOTAL population in the country identify with the tea party — that there are only six black people in that number, you go ahead.

  • ~~JustMe~~

So quite a mix of different cultures!!!
And the sad thing now is all those people will have to find money to pay into healthcare since “O” healthcare is now in yet they couldn’t afford it in the first place. Wonder what will happen to them now jackie? $14 million he made sure his family and friends were ok how about the families who needed healthcare? How ironic healthcare was involved. Wonder if anyone died due to lack of funds from this sham of a set up. Talk about making sure he lined his own pocket.

And even though 20,000 may not seem too impressive, the Tea Parties were numerous, over 25 in my state of Washington on the 15th of April, and since Wa. is an average sized state, if you were to multiply this by 50, there might have been 25 million Tea Partiers out voicing their concern for this country.

O’Reilly was talking about the politics of racism tonight. The Democrats have a vested interest in painting all of the opposition with the Racist brush.

Obama won by getting 90% of AA’s to vote for him. If the Democrats lose just 10% of the AA vote, they lose.

The Democrats need to scare the AA’s into believing everyone not a Democrat is a Racist. Given that Democrats are falling behing in the polls, they need to beat that drum louder and louder.

It’s a shame that the race card is the only way they can get AA’s to vote for them.  You’d think they would come up with something more positive.

    It worked once. That’s it.

I guess the Democrats are jealous because the Republicans platform has worked since 1980, and their Race Card was only good for one election cycle.

For the average AA I ask, Has your life really improved? Have the Democrats made it more likely that you and your family can succeed in education, career, and private life?

Has anyone seen  BIG MO “the sleeveless” lately, or has she gone under ground to disrupt the Tea Party for the cause, and leave the on line disorder to others, like well, we know who they are.

  • Ani

How would you or anyone know who all speaks at literally hundreds of rallies around the country?  Clearly, the media is going to cover the biggest names — since 90% of the media is providing constant cover for the Obama administration, they are going to paint tea partiers as right wing as possible — of course you are going to see more conservatives up there than anyone.  Palin and Bachmann are lightning rods.

Why the hell is the media going to cover someone who does not fall into their narrative? — we saw that game played in the 2008 campaign too.  No vetting of Obama — everything he said was gospel, but rip down or downright ignore everyone else.

    Old game.  Same players.

Besides which, the point I am making is only that the tea party is not easily characterized.  There are people on all ends of the spectrum who relate to their grievances — Palin is not their defacto leader — no matter who tries to intimate otherwise.  This movement has no leader and that is what is good about it.  It truly is a grass roots effort that springs forth from people’s frustrations and worries about our financial situation and the erosion of our constitution and our rights.

There are those who will try to co-opt that movement — people are not buying.

I’m pretty sure ANYONE who gets up and speaks to the issues I mentioned is welcome to speak.

For the record, I am angry about lack of transparency, the corruption of both parties, continuation of Bush policies by this admin., profligate spending, crony capitalism, lying, backroom deals by someone who swore up and down he would never do that, bailouts throwing good money after bad, and a health care bill that insures dough for big phrma and big insurance and that will ration medicare and raise our insurance costs.  I voted a straight Dem ticket for 30 years.  2008 taught me that the current leadership is feeding at the trough and the (D) or (R) behind the name matters a helluva lot less than it used to.  So how would the media characterize me?  Forget I asked.

I read a broad spectrum of news coverage and see how slanted it is, how disrespectful to those who are peacefully protesting.  That shows me they are not to be trusted.  Hillary supporters were called racist, low-information Archie Bunkers — that was a bucket of filthy lies, too.

Not an “Affirmative-Action hire”, more like a feel better white guilt hire. If he really a good pick, and is capable of handling his job, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now.

He had no power base in DC to get what need to be done, so he cave in to special interest, giving 32 million new client to insurance company, that translated into thousands of dollars times 32 million that translated to trillions over 10 years, all into the pocket of the big insurance. And don’t tell me about the subsidise, it’s just tax dollars that can be better use else where getting into the pocket of insurance company. He cut deals with the pharmas behind close doors, he pump moneys into the car company that end up bankcrupe ayway, he give money to wallstreet but watched millions american lost their life saving. A trillion dollars was used, that’s like a10k peer family, what kind of economic growth would that be if that’s given to the people, not the big money? And you wonder why we don’t like him? Thinking must not be what they tought you in school.

  • No Longer Banned in Beantown

The Democratic Party has built a large coalition by perpetuating a fallacy that AA’s are inferior and need things like Welfare, and Affirmative Action because they will not be able to succeed in education, career and life if they are not given handouts.

The Democrats need AA’s to believe they are too inferior to function without parental assistance. Just as they depended on the Plantation for basic needs of survival, many AA’s now depend of the Democratic Party to provide their basic human needs.

The Democratic Party has a vested interest to keep it that way.

It is a self perpetuating cycle of dependence.

The minority of AA’s as the ones interviewed in the video have proudly broken free of the cycle of dependence, and have realized the dream and promise of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Don’t fault them for deciding their own destiny, rather than have a Political Party decide it for them.

  • andysf

Well put. It’s been two generations since the civil rights became law. They had devised the Welfare System, and Affirmative Action to replace discrimination and stereotyping. It work just the same, keeping minority in their place.

Don’t you think the AA community would do better (just like all Americans) with an increase in jobs jobs jobs?  Unemployment is now disproportionately high in the AA community — they have done horribly so far under Obama — just ask Bob Herbert of the NYT — a HUGE Obama supporter — who has written several columns complaining of this very fact rhis past year and wonders when the president is finally going to focus on it.  Why are you only talking of programs that do not empower?  Jobs and education empower.

Dems have been in control of Congress for nearly 3 and 1/2 years and Mr. Pres has had a (or near a) super majority for 15 months.

  • Buzzlatte

    How can a bot defend:

    Higher unemployment

    Out of control spending

Passing a hugely unpopular bill intra party only.

A president ( use the term loosely) that hides his past

A president that has ties to domestic terrorists and foreign money launderers.

    etc, etc, etc,

There’s just not much to talk about for them.

  • candymarl

I think Jackie and FF are deliberately missing the point of the video. It’s not just that there are black people there. It’s not even about how many are there. It’s that they’re there, safe, welcome, and are kindred spirits with the intent of the Tea Party whether or not they are members.

This is the exact opposite of the way the Tea Parties have been reported by the MSM.

I’ve seen videos where latinos and asians were in attendance.

I sincerely hope people like Jackie and FF stop invoking the Civil Rights movement. I lived through it. Apparently these two have forgotten one of  the most important things MLK Jr said during that struggle: It’s not the color your skin but the content of your character. From my POV, as an AA, Obama is very short on character and long on speechifying.

Me too. The woman was smart, funny, articulate and made perfect sense. No wonder a fool like Jackie thinks she’s nuts.

  • kenoshamarge

Very well said! Once a majority of AA realize that the Democratic Party needs them a lot more than they need the Democratic Party the Democrats will play hell ever getting a majority again.

Just like women need to stop slavishly following one party because they believe they will “help” them.

Neither party gives a rat’s ass about women or AA. Both will promise the moon and then decline to deliver once elected.

The Tea Party People are diverse and rambunctious and sick and tired of politicians of either stripe telling them lies and spending our country into disaster.

No wonder the Dems loathe and fear the Tea Party People. Smart Republicans should too.

Small minded partisans and nitwits that worship at the feet of some sleazy pol, of whatever color or ethnicity will never understand the Tea Party People. What they don’t understand they will, they must, denigrate and hate. I wonder if somewhere within their withered little souls they don’t wish they had that kind of integrity and grit.

  • Steve1

The reasom why Jackie and FF are so blowing bubbles is:  (1)  They are soooo frighten as to what is going to happen in Nov, 2010 and Nov. 2012..or, they making some little pocket chain on the side, “paid Ho’s for BS!….Time will tell who is right!

  • Katmoon

What is driving this feeding frenzy on the Tea Party participants, is the fact this administration and media like to classify people, put us all in nice little defined boxes, so then they are able to dissect, make fun of in general terms (racist, sexist, agist, etc.)and therefore believe they have difussed the group, and the actions associated with them. Yet, because the Tea Party Participants are from all walks of life, a good representation of many “groups” in America, the pundits and media, and politic in general, have nothing to get a firm hold on and it is driving them to the point of behaving like school yard bullies. Fools.

OT-Ferd and I are off for some good “grandparent Duty”, the kids are going for a nice evening out, concert, dinner, spoiling in general, as they usually do for pre-deployment, so they can have some quality time together. BB in a couple of days! Will hug them for all of you! :-D

  • creeper

Sorry the number of AA’s didn’t meet your standard, Jackie.  How many of them would there need to be to convey legitimacy to the Tea Partiers?…Ten?  Fifty?  A hundred?  Maybe there’s a percentage they should reach before they’re taken seriously?  Please give us some guidelines.

  • creeper

Actually, it may only take one.  Can you imagine the effect on the other forty-nine states if one refused to certify a candidate?  Never mind that being left off even one state ballot could be a huge handicap.

    Carry on, Arizona.

  • creeper

Cool!  Orly Taitz made the list.  I’m surprised our own jbjd wasn’t on it.

The AA’s in the film clip above pretty much trash that claim.

  • kenoshamarge

Calling people supporters of the Confederacy is just another way to play the now limp, tattered and overused race card. The one that most intellegent people now ignore. (And that’s sad because the left has so mis-used and abused the race card that “real” racists will in some cases get a pass because of the Democrat boys and girls crying wolf.)

  • kenoshamarge

Or perhaps not all of us are silly enough to believe that just because there were only six AA on the video there were only six AA participants at the rally.

  • ~~JustMe~~

Oh have fun as grannie and gramps! Plus hope Mom & Dad enjoy their quality time.

  • surfered

52% of Tea Party followers say that “too much” time is spent on the problems of black people.  That’s percentage is twice the number of the general population, which means they are twice as racist.  The MSM is right on this one, you can’t have a tea party without crackers.

  • creeper

Poor baby.  Failed biology, did we?  Classification of living things goes as follows:  Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species

Classification of human beings beyond species became impossible the moment two individuals from different tribes reproduced.  Case in point…Barry himself.  He is not “black” nor is he “white”.  He is human.  Period.

  • Sassy

In my small area of the world, I know several African American conservatives.
One family has lived in several countries while serving in the military, and the father was a contractor in Saudia Arabia.
Both sons and their son-in-law are active duty military now. They understand the need to protect American values.
Their mom is a regular contributor to our newspaper’s Letters To The Editor section, and that gal levels some zingers against BO!

Enjoy the grandkids. Spoil them and then send them back. That is one of the greatest joys of being a grandparent.

ROFL!  I’m beginning to understand the problem here.  FF failed Biology and surfered here tanked in Statistical Analysis and Logic.  No wonder we can’t get through to these people.  They simply haven’t the skill set to follow a rational argument.

  • creeper

Well, she must be a racist then.

  • Ani

Have you any idea how many African American conservatives are running for Congress this time out?  I think they would beg to differ with you on which party is helping them succeed.  They help themselves succeed.  We all have to do that.  No one is referring to them as “affirmative action” anything.  Like any candidate, if they have something to say, an honest message and can back it up — they are being listened to and gaining some traction.

  • Sassy

I would not recommend anyone putting a label on Lottie, cause she’s a “hottie”! LOL!

FF, it is amazing that you post here regularly and ask to be taken seriously but miss no opportunity to be disrespectful to others and distract from the real debate.  Interesting.

  • Obama: Dubya 2 Electric Boogaloo

My first job was working the snack bar at a movie theater. We were explicitly told, that when serving popcorn, that we had to say “would you like real butter flavoring?”. I’ll never forget that line.

And this stuff was nasty. It came in 5 gallon tubs and it was dayglow florescent orange but when it melted it was this yellowish, buttery oily liquid. Popcorn was popped fresh, even though most customers never believed it, even while the popper was going!

Race is not a subset of species. There is only one species of the genus Homo in existense today, and that is Homo sapiens. Race is a concept created by societies (possibly starting with Eygptians, and continuing on…) as a way to differentiate themselves as well as a way to claim superiority of said societies race.

Color is caused by the amount of melanin in each gene allele of each parent.  The reason that people from different backgrounds – i.e. Japanense, Persian, African, etc..resemble the other people from where they are from is due to genetic isolation during evolution.

Race is not a subset of species. It is an illusion created by people to control other people.

  • Carlaforhillary

Regardless of the fact that it is only a small number of black people in the tea party (and they are a minority in this country, so it is reasonable to assume that they would be a minority in the tea party as well.) they are there and should be commended for standing up and speaking out.

  • Carlaforhillary

Neantherdals are considered by some to be a “subset” but that is the only species to be considered a subset of the genus homo.  All others were different species before they disapeared. leaving only Homo sapiens.

  • Docelder

But now we see that the Civil Rights movement was just co-opted by the left in the same way that they co-opted the environment and so many other movements. The result of that all these years later for civil rights is a segment of the population co-dependent on the government and an environmental policy held hostage to party politics rather than the actual environment. The left are takers, they don’t give anything back. They take for themselves. This is why the leadership is mostly rich educational elites. Makes perfect sense.

  • Buzzlatte

Plus, they never learned to footnote.  Ah, the results of that liberal warm fuzzy left driven education.  I once thought I had been too hard on my students of the 1980′s by requiring them to actually work in school.  Now I know there are at least four hundred people out in the world that can use critical thinking skills, synthesize information, and draw conclusions with merit and cite the basis for their conclusions.

  • Buzzlatte

If the AA’s are looking for role models they need to find MLK,Jr. who was a republican AND taught peace and seeing humans as one.

I commend them that have returned to MLK,Jr’s viewpoint and philosophy.

We all have the same hearts; our colors might be different but we love the same way, we cry the same way, we are all in this together.

The one thing I will never forgive Obama for is lying about being the great unifier.  He has done more to divide this country than any politician I know.  We are one country, UNDIVIDED we must and will stand.

Jackie and FF:  wake up.  Take a look around you.  Obama is not the Messiah.  He is just a man, a man who is dangerous for this country.  He is Dubya redux and I scratch my head wondering how it is his followers can’t see this.

The Redeemer goverment was created by the Democratic Party of the time.  Jim Crow laws, also created by Democratic-majority legislative bodies in the South, followed as the state and county level administrators that the Federal government had installed in the former Confederate states withdrew.

Well, Jackie, I have to agree with you there.  Corruption is not confined to any political party or ethnicity.  I, too, have lived and worked in NY and NJ, and one thing is for certain:  every color and every party was represented when it came to ripping off one’s fellow man.  My personal favorites were the Irish, though.  They were always so philosophical when they were reaching in your pocket :)

  • Lone Ranger

And when one of your kids is out without you and a teabagger seems ‘em and tells them to go back to Kenya and your kid comes home crying, what’re you gonna tell ‘em?

  • andysf

What is a teabagger any way?  Really, I would like to know. You seem like such a nice and caring person, I doubted it would be anything offensive now would it?

Just in case you don’t go out much and didn’t know, racist come from all race, not just white people. There are always bad apple in the bunch. You don’t knock the white race or group down just because a few nut jobs. If someone tell you that all white people are evil, don’t take that at face value. If someone tell you that all black people are stupid, don’t take tat at face value either. You need to learn how to think for your self. It’s very important, the advancement of human specie depend on it, OK?

As for what to tell the kids,

Tell them to laugh at those morons. They should never worry about what losers tell them. I had people tell me to get my ass back to China or call me ching all the time, yet I am the one who served this country , not them. I am the one who’s financially independent, not them, why should any self respecting minority care about what a few nut job loser have to say?

    Ani,

Your post is a joke. So what if you can find a few minorities in a sea of thousands? Means nothing. The reality is that the Teabagger represent the almost entire white far right wing in this country.

The Teabagger crowd is nothing new, they are just the far right wing. All the polls tell us this. Almost zero democrats, fairly southern and generally older and white.
