They are the ones that undermine the freedom upon which this country is based. We were, as a country, "born" out of dissent. Bush appointed a man who was ideologically in line with him and one who was also involved in the Iran Contra scandal. Now the Pentagon is being blamed for a decision which was clearly Obama's to make. Don't most presidents want their own man/woman in the important cabinet positions? I don't buy the argument of not changing due to the wars and I don't see how openly gay soldiers would demoralize the troops.
