Spin it any way you like, people will read it and say, Oh, ok.

This story needed to come out in April, but everyone ignored it….so now two months away from the General Election and it’s supposed to do so much damage.

If Obama weren’t Black, he would not be the nominee. They would have thrown him out before John Edwards.

How many times can one say, “He is not qualified.” Isn’t tonight his coronation at the circus. This is the guy that the Democratic Party want us to vote for the President of the United States. You’ve all lost your minds!!!!!!!

Today is the Annniversary of the Dream speech. They scheduled this convention before, supposedly, we had a nominee.

But it wouldn’t do to have a short white woman in a bright pantsuit speechifying for the Dems on such a day.

The fix was in–this whole charade was gamed to put “Zeus” (I like that) in the driver’s seat on this day, on this anniversary, to show the USA how “cool” the Dems are.

Fine and dandy…but surely we could have found a better goddamned Zeus?????

I’ve got Zeus’s coronation on. People don’t seem to be whooping it up…no one is smiling, they all look like..ZOMBIES….is it the altitude, or is it that all these idiots just have no sense of rhythm?

There must be at LEAST twenty US flags, used improperly as fucking DECORATION, on that temple mount stage. I blame the GOP for that shit. They started that crap, it’s so WRONG.

McCain could really go for some dramatic contrast if he does his speech from a simple stage, with no adornment save a single, large flag with a spotlight on it == emphasize the humility, eschew the pomp/circumstance.

Let the candidate do the seriousness of the issues, you do the excellence of the candidate. This is old fashioned but nonetheless I think still applicable. It has made Laura Bush (with a few forays into relatively anodyne policy questions) the most popular First Lady in modern American political history.

And that’s just one line of bullshit after another. First of all, Laura isn’t that popular. People call her The Joker, they make fun of the fact that she smokes, they rip her for her shitty fashion/makeup sense (which I think is rather mean, but there ya go) and they also are put off by the vacant expression. However, there was one time when she came ALIVE and ripped a foreign government a new asshole (George must have been drunk in the family quarters or something) and that was the BURMA (Myanmar) situation–she even went to the PRESS ROOM and held a televised news conference, answering questions in some detail (more than her husband could, certainly). I watched that, and said to myself, “Shit, that’s the Mayberry Eva Peron.” She actually did a better job of articulating her position than George.

That’s all tangential, but I just can’t abide Peggy Noonan. She’s rather from the Maureen Dowd mold–the “I’m the SPECIAL girl in the Boy’s Club” attitude. Fuck her!

Ayers there is plenty and 7 years of witnesses…of course they scrubed the worst, like that is going to help.
