EWard,

Hard to argue with someone as brainwashed at you. Let me address some of your teabag rant that has nothing to do with the topic discussed above.

The Obama adminstration passed 35 separate tax cuts or tax rebates in one form or another. The stimulus bill was the singe biggest one time tax cut in history. Go read the bill. 95% of Americans got a tax cut in 2009. By the way, who cares about taxes. Most people in this country actually think the level of taxes they pay is just fine and this country pays far less taxes than every other industrialized country in the world. Taxes are a non-issue.

Not sure what bills you are talking about passing in secret. You have not idea how govt and passing bills works. What exactly would you like to see done different in the process?

Obama does not knwo what bill he's signing? First of all what bill are you talking about and where exactly is your proof? This statement is complete BS. You people just love to talk in generalitities.

The Tea Party movement or the corporate back tea party movement is not really gaining much steam. I think it has plateaued. This is not a new movement, it is just the same old far-right movement. Just more vocal these days because you are a bunch of sore loser who do not think a democratic government is legitimate.

America is a centralist population? Not sure, but lets assume you are right. That sure tells me that do not support the far right of the tea party and your ilk.

Same old BS about the election. Get over ti.

You were never a democrat. Particularly given your anti-government rheoric. You are extremely right-wing.

The government in this country works just fine. It provides a lot of good for society. Why is it that America is the only country that is so anti-government? End of the day all you anti-government people end up mostly being hypocrites.

Sorry if you don't like the direction of the country, but your party lost the election. You will have you chances to change things in the next elections.

You little gutter-snipe, you most certainly did not respond to Sara's essay but went off on a tangent about Rush Limbaugh as though what he does excuses commentators on the left when doing the same thing. It doesn't. Your lack of understanding the basic principles of logic are amply demonstrated by your resort to common practice and gainsay when called on your dreck. The only thing tedious here are your histrionics, hyperbole, and hogwash posing as enlightened commentary. But do please continue as your predilection for making an ass of yourself is well known. We anxiously await your next set of boneheaded comments, twit.

MSNBC, NBC, and all the other major networks are lap dog media clowns for Obama and the Dems. Your post is pure BS!!

Where is the accountability for all of Obama's lies????

-raising taxes on most Americans especially the ones that pay federal income tax
-passing bills with only the Democratic side of Congress meeting in secret-now Reid wants to tackle immigration on Tuesday?

Obama doesn't even know what is in the bills he's signing...he is all about getting control of our economy and spreading the wealth.

This is why the Tea Party movement is gaining steam because Americans are fed up with the government interferring with student loans, hc, car companies, immigration, cap/tax, and so on.

Americans are a centrist population. They are neither left/progressive or right wing.

FYI, all my adult life I voted for the Democratic candidates until 2008. The caucus fraud, the thugging of Democratic delegates, and Obama's shaky past has caught up with him. This is why Rush, Levin, Hannity, Fox, WSJ, and others are gaining viewers and readers.

Schultz, Olbermann, Mitchell, Matthews, and Company are journalistic pimps.....

As for ratings:

"Limbaugh is widely acknowledged to be the most popular talk host on terrestrial radio, as evidenced by the $400 million, eight-year contract he signed with his syndicator last July. (Howard Stern signed a deal with Sirius Satellite Radio in October 2004 for a reported $500 million over five years.) But estimates of Limbaugh's nationwide (and overseas) audience are exercises in guesswork, slippery methodology and suspect data. Limbaugh himself has muddied the water with the claim that he reaches 20 million people a week, although there's no independent support for it.

Arbitron, the radio industry's dominant audience-measurement company, can say with some precision how large Limbaugh's audience is in a particular city and at a particular time, but it has never publicly released a national estimate for his show.

The difficulty comes from the vast patchwork that is Limbaugh's radio empire. His three-hour daily program is carried on more than 600 domestic stations, but these stations don't all carry the show at the same time or even for the same duration. Like KFI-AM (640) in L.A., most stations air all three hours of Limbaugh's broadcast each weekday, but some carry only two hours. Arbitron has never attempted to aggregate all of this audience data for these many stations and times.

"There is no economic motivation for any objective third party to do that kind of analysis," says Thom Mocarsky, an Arbitron spokesman.
And there are no ratings at all for a constituency of Limbaugh listeners: U.S. military personnel stationed overseas. Limbaugh's program is carried to these listeners on about 400 stations of varying audience sizes via the Armed Forces Radio Network, which Arbitron doesn't monitor.

Premiere Radio Networks, Limbaugh's national syndicator, estimated last year that 3.59 million people were in Limbaugh's audience during an average quarter-hour of his program, based on a review of Arbitron's piecemeal data about hundreds of stations."

<a href="http://articles.latimes.com/2009/mar/09/entertainment/et-limbaugh9" rel="nofollow">http://articles.latimes.com/2009/mar/09/entertainment/et-limbaugh9</a>

No one really knows what Limbaugh's ratings really are and it is hard to compare ratings for an AM radio show that is on many many radio stations across the country and in some cases Limbaugh is the only game in town. MSNBC is not on that many cable systems, particularly in the first tier of channels. Their potential audience reach is much smaller than both Limbaugh and FOX. And to compare MSNBC and FOX ratings is a bit bullshit as well. Not only is MSNBC on far fewer basic cable offerings, but FOX has a bigger audience because it has cornered the right-wing market. MSNBC is more centerist so it likely splits it viewers with CNN, ABC, CBS, etc.

MSNBC's ratings are actually pretty good. They came out of no where and in a very short period of time have build some very solid ratings, particularly for the younger audience, which is the one the advertiser care the most about. FOX has cornered the white haired crowd.

<a href="http://blogs.alternet.org/speakeasy/2010/04/08/glenn-becks-ratings-decline-what-will-he-do-to-boost-them/" rel="nofollow">http://blogs.alternet.org/speakeasy/2010/04/08/glenn-becks-ratings-decline-what-will-he-do-to-boost-them/</a>

sarainitaly,

Being in italy are you sure you watch MSNBC and listen to Limbaugh to form such opinions? You really have no clue. MSNBC is mostly about facts and the news. The personalities on those shows support their arguments and points with actual evidence, facts, etc. FOX rarely does and certainly Limbaugh never does. He just spews hate. You need to just Google "Limbaugh Lies" and there is tons of stuff on all the lies Limbaugh has made over the last 20 years.

NBC, MSNBC and CNBC are far from being liberal. In fact, NBC as whole is pretty corporate and pretty right-wing. CNBC is completely right-wing. MSNBC itself has three hours of right wing scarborough on every single day. I would love to see three hours of a lefty on FOX every morning. NBC dumped reporter Ashleigh Banfield after she critized the media for sugar coated coverage of the Iraq war. CNBC also dumped Jesse Ventura for his non-support of the Iraq war and also Phil Donahue's show for the same reason. And NBC is suppose to be a lefty network?

Other than a few left leaning shows the network is very conservative.

And Dbb reveals itself to be so devoid of reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, basic knowledge of the Constitution, or any shred of human decency that I can understand why it must defend its enabling messiah at all costs. It has no hope of making it through life on its own non-existent merits, and therefore welcomes its deliverance/slavery by the nanny state with open arms and must denigrate more worthy, self-supporting adults who stand in its way.

Another O'Tool. Nothing more.

Wow in that second clip, Joan says that by criticizing Obama and making it seem like he's incompetent and doesn't know what he's doing, people like Sarah Palin and others are giving aid and comfort to the terrorists.

My mouth hangs open at the sheer audacity of that statement. So what the hell was the left doing over the last eight years to Bush?
