Because he is a compassionate conservative and I read his book Revolution which is short to the point and educational. I would reccomend anyone to read it to learn more about this woman.

                Having a warrant simply means due process was served. The cops took probable cause to a judge and convinced him or her that there was legal justification for a warrant to be issued from the bench. If McCain had anything to do with this then I applaud him for following the law. Its refreshing after eight years of an administration that sought to bend the law at every turn that John McCain would follow the law and it is further evidense that John McCain is not George Bush

      I will never forget the sight of Hillary when she came out with the NY delegation to stop the roll call. I don’t really know if those men around her were blocking her way from running away, or they were there to catch Hillary with their bodies if she is about to collapse. The only thing I disagreed with was that Palin might not do well with Hillary voters but she will bring in Right Wing women who might not otherwise have voted. From everything I am reading Palin is a bigt hit with Hillary voters. I don’t agree with her on anything but she raises my emotional barometer and that’s whe whole point.

      Obama’s mistake as a change agent was to begin his presidential run too early. People have gotten sick of him and his message. Its like he is already a failed president and the voters are looking someone new to replace him. The public is very fickle. Unless you hit them in the heart they will tire of you. No one tired of Reagan or Clinton because they didn’t put themselves out there on TV, in Ads, in huge venues which smack of self importance 24/7. Obama spend 12 Million on Ads to win Pa. three times more than Hillary and he still lost by 10%.

    Someone please answer a question for me here, I’m really confused and baffled.

    Why is this even a tight race, between McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden? As Americans, we should put country before party. McCain has been a war hero who risked his life for his country. Obama took his children to a racist church, and never stood up to his pastor.

    The contrast in character between the two is amazing. One is an American patriot, the other, well, an anti-American radical. While there may be a few issues I may disagree with McCain on, I don’t see any of his policies as disasterous, and I really believe he will do his best to keep America safe and prosperous.

    Palin seems to be a wonderful person. I really can’t say that for the plagerist, Biden. Palin is a fresh face and new attitude for Washington, and Biden is an old recycled party hack. McCain/Palin ARE the change we can believe in.

    Now that Hillary is not in the race, why isn’t McCain way ahead in the polls? I just don’t understand why anyone would vote for someone like Obama. That kool-aid they’re drinking must be strong.

      Ryan — I think McCain is way ahead. There is an old tradition — the candidate leading says he’s behind because over confidence might keep potential voters from voting. The one who’s losing however, claims to be the winner. The media likes a horse race so they won’t give the poll numbers which reflect a McCain/Palin victory and thats fine with McCain. When you see a poll make sure it says Likely Voters not Registered Voters. Mike Huckabee said McCain only needs 4% of Democrats to vote for him and he wins. Thats a poll I can believe in.

    When Sarah first moved to the Governor’s mansion in Juneau, she axed the “Governor’s Chef” position because she wanted to save the state money, AND she and her husband wanted to do their own cooking for their family.

    Granted, it’s not a big governing decision, but I think it gives you insight into who she is. No one will ever accuse Sarah of being a snob.

In 1995 Obama in his job as Community Organizer he should have organized the members of his community to leave for cool shelters when Chicago’s worst heatwave hit the area. 700 people in his area died that week. Nobody came to check on them–they were old–sick and poor. They feared leaving their homes or even opening windows because they thought they might be attacked.     here are some reasons why this republican will NOT vote for mccain/palin.
    1. Mccain supported bush/cheney ideals over 90% of the time.
    2. Palin lies, she is not against earmarks, matter of fact, is very much for them. look at her record folks!
    3. mccain lies, says he is about change HA! he was against the war in iraq, now is for it.
    4. mccain/palin are just dumb when it comes to energy.
    drilling more holes does nothing to help the usa as far as oil prices go. it would be different if they said that we were gonna keep all our oil that we presently pump. the usa sells 90% of all the oil it pumps to mexico. screw mexico, screw the oil execs.
    not only that there are over 1 million oil heads that are presently capped closed. why? i will tell you why, because the oil refineries cannot refine the amount of oil that the usa imports and pumps domestically. so pumping more oil in america will do this…..lead to more pollution off our coasts, and in alaska, put more $ in the pockets of the oil execs, and raise our gas prices.
    5. Palin’s little town of wassila had ZERO debt before she took office, now the town has around a 20 million debt.
    6. Palin was against funding for unwed mothers. hipocrit
    7. Palin is against funding for americans with special needs. hipocrit
    to think that if you dont vote for palin/mccain is being sexist, well if u dont vote for obama/biden you are a racist, and you support fascism like bush/cheney, mccain/palin do.
