Carville needs to get out of the big city and observe what a small town mayor goes through every single day–limited budget to handle law enforcement, water and sewer (if you have those), garbage pick-up (if you have that), animal control (if you have the money for that), etc.; everybody wanting you to do them favors because everybody knows you personally and not liking it when you don’t or can’t, little or no salary, calls to your home at all hours about everything major and minor, and on and on. I live in the country near several small towns, and you couldn’t pay me enough to be mayor of any of those towns. From what I see, you have to have a really strong personality and a very tough hide to do this job. Obama would be a sniveling wreck after a week on the job.

Well, this HRC supporter finds this election has opened my eyes to the mean rhetoric of the Democrats in a way I never really noticed before—I hope because maybe it was not so mean. Maybe because I no longer live in an urban environment. But what comes to me is that it is no wonder Democrats have not earned those blue collar and rural votes—it is the same condescension and ridicule tactic that rips into HRC supporters. How can you get someone’s vote when you have no respect for them or their views, their cultural experiences? Obama’s campaign has taken this to a whole new level but what I am realizing is that this has been endemic with this party for a long, long time—demeaning and demonizing folks who choose to be Republicans, who don’t like a lot of government in their lives, who struggle with the moral dilemma of a pregnancy that poses economic or social problems etc. I may differ with these folks on these issues but I do not have to belittle them for believing that way.

Obama allowed his friends to bleed Chicago’s treasury to build low income housing, and they behaved in much the same way as Bush’s friends did in iraq. So if there is anyone who will continue bushes legacy it will be obama not Mccain. Obama has shown already he has more of a proclivity towards that type of behavior. many people are hard on MCcain because he did not support them to put more money into the military, but Mccain firmly believes in not spending money you don’t have. obama’s budget will call for 1 trillion dollars, and because of his behavior in the Illnois state senate i don’t trust him with any of my hard earned money.

My husband has been to Alaska several times. He loves it. Keeps trying to talk me into going for about a month. I’m a Northern, CA, Montana fan. In fact I just told him get ready because next year we’re buying an RV and I’m going to Northern, CA the entire camping season April through Oct. I love camping but the bears keep me up and down all night. If you don’t have a bear locker they try to get in your vehicle, etc. Smart. I never realized bears were so intelligent. Probably didn’t help much that my 3 year old grandson hid open candy in the tent, every single night we were there my son in law had bears batting at his head while he was sleeping. lol Trying to unzip the tent to come in for a visit. We finally figured out why when we we’re leaving. He had taken a piece of laffy taffy and stuck it to the side of their air matress, so even though we swept the tent everyday we never saw it till we was deflating it.

They then become prey the same as other animals. Look how long since man first walked on Earth, and man still has not learned to live together. Animals eventually do learn. A perfect example of this is the Starling, when it was first introduced to this country in the late 1800′s it almost caused the extintion of several other bird species.
