I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.
Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well
grounded.

If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the
first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter
registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a
Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing
a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's
Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States
Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills
and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and
Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.
If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city
council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20
months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're
qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while
raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a
real Christian.
If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your
disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a good Christian.

If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including
the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no
other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed
teen daughter ends up pregnant, you're very responsible... Never mind
that you & First Dude eloped because of your own out-of-wedlock pregnancy.

If your wife is a Harvard graduate laywer who gave up a position in
a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city
community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't
represent America's.
If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI
conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age
25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska
from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

<em>"I suspect Palin’s position is far more conservative than most of Hillary Clinton’s supporters"</em>

Oh you silver-tongued Devil, that is a slicing shaft of irony.

It is also the reason that the maggot finally gagged: I'm back to voting for that son of a bitch Obama as the least worst choice. At least he is our son of a bitch.

The <em>nouveau</em> Schlafley just a heartbeat away from another Scalia or Thomas on the court is my <em>raison d'etre</em>.

But go your own way. It's a free country until January.

Interesting that Palin said in regard to her daughters pregnancy and the possibility of termintating it (QUOTE) - "I WOULD CHOOSE LIFE." Nice that she is 1.) anxious to make the choice for her daughter, and 2.) unwilling to let anyone else make their own choice.

You people are so stupid to believe that her daughter had the child. Do you really believe she would run for VP if something like this was in her background. She is an acting governor and seen by thousands of people everyday. There are pictures of her in the Alaska papers. There are pictures showing her with her family and she is pregnant. How would a person get away with this act when she is in the public arena everday.

Get a grip people. You are all nuts who would believe something like that.

Let's not forget the very FIRST smears that originated after the announcement. Asshole Obots were actually condemning her for not aborting a child with special needs.<strong> My God, help us! Not only do they want a perfect union, they obviously want it populated only with "perfect" people. Disabled need not apply to the Obama Nation.</strong>

I truthfully cannot understand anyone who supported Hillary so strongly being for Palin at all. She is very, very conservative.

I am still wondering who you are and what you did with Larry.

PS Your question, Larry, is BOGUS in the first place. Senator Clinton has been a part of Washington for years, but she would ALSO have been a CHANGE from the Bush administration. In fact, I was an Obama supporter but I KNEW that both Clinton and Obama would bring a CHANGE to Washington!

<blockquote>So, if you are trying to run a campaign predicated on changing the status quo in Washington, who symbolizes that kind of change–Joe Biden or Sarah Palin. An insider who has spent 36 years in Washington and become wealthy in the process or a mother of five who took on the Republican establishment in her own backyard. Yeah, that’s a hard question.</blockquote>

Not a hard question.

"Change" would be defined as difference policies than the Bush administration. . . Biden has a DRASTICALLY different idea of where this country should be headed than Bush, Palin does not.

Why don't we ask McCain-Palin what they would 'change' about Bush's economic/foreign policies. What specifically the Bush administration policies have done to harm this nation? I'd be interested to hear what kind of "change" they would bring.

Then let's ask Obama/Biden if THEY would change the economic and foreign policies of the Bush administration.

Which do you think would offer REAL change?

Thank you once again Larry. This was really valuable info especially about the distortions concerning Palin's environmental stands. I have been so disgusted by the New Dem party that I was going to hold my nose and vote McCain. With the addition of Gov. Palin I am now thrilled to vote for this ticket. I've even donated- something I had no intention of doing previous. While I don't agree with a number of their conservative positions, I am over all enthused by the possibility of real change coming to Washington. This Lady seems to take no crap - and really gets stuff done. She brings a genuine humility and a servants attitude to the ticket. The pain I felt watching the Democrats crap all over democracy at the Convention has been replaced by enthusiasm for McCain Palin. I, a die hard Democrat voting Republican! - I would have never, ever thought this possible. Thanks again for keeping on top of the distortions and providing us with fair information

Nobody who was a Hillary supporter can seriously think about voting for McCain-Palin! C'mon, it's bigger than the abortion issue (though that's pretty big considering that it has been 5-4 decision recently and 3 more Justices are set to retire). . . but look at Hillary's top concerns:

1) Universal Health Care for all Americans

Obama's plan is ALMOST identical to Clinton's. The McCain-Palin "plan" is the same as the Bush "plan". . . the status quo.

2) Children's Health Insurance (she was one of the forces behind S-CHIP

McCain-Palin are AGAINST S-CHIP expansion, Obama-Biden are FOR S-CHIP expansion

3) End to the "Cowboy Diplomacy" of GW Bush

McCain is out there threatening Russia, Iran, and promising "more wars". . . Obama wants to return to Clinton and George HW Bush Diplomacy and Cooperation with our allies

4) End the power grab by GOP Executive Branch

McCain supports the Bush administration overreaching power grab. Clinton and Obama do not

5) Education

McCain-Palin want school vouchers, teaching Creationism in science classes, a continuation of the Bush policies, etc. Clinton-Obama want more teachers with higher salaries, increased accountability and the return of SCIENCE to our public education system

6) Women's rights

Not only abortion rights, but also Equal Pay for Equal Work, amongst MANY other women's issues.

Again, if you were a Clinton supporter, but refuse to vote for Obama out of spite. . . well, then you were never concerned about the issues that Sen. Clinton holds dear and has been working for all her life. Senator Clinton's BIGGEST issue this campaign has been health care and I'm SURE that she would be put in charge of helping to write such legislation under an Obama administration. . .

Does anyone think a McCain-Palin administration would help Americans get Universal Health Care?

Further, Palin called Clinton a 'whiner' during the primary campaign and has now been booed when bringing up Clinton's accomplishments. Is the mere fact that she's a woman enough to get your votes even though she disagrees with Sen. Clinton on EVERYTHING?

4) End the power grab by GOP Executive Branch

McCain supports the Bush administration overreaching power grab. Clinton and Obama do not

5) Education

McCain-Palin want school vouchers, teaching Creationism in science classes, a continuation of the Bush policies, etc. Clinton-Obama want more teachers with higher salaries, increased accountability and the return of SCIENCE to our public education system

6) Women’s rights

Not only abortion rights, but also Equal Pay for Equal Work, amongst MANY other women’s issues.

Again, if you were a Clinton supporter, but refuse to vote for Obama out of spite. . . well, then you were never concerned about the issues that Sen. Clinton holds dear and has been working for all her life. Senator Clinton’s BIGGEST issue this campaign has been health care and I’m SURE that she would be put in charge of helping to write such legislation under an Obama administration. . .

Does anyone think a McCain-Palin administration would help Americans get Universal Health Care?

Further, Palin called Clinton a ‘whiner’ during the primary campaign and has now been booed when bringing up Clinton’s accomplishments. Is the mere fact that she’s a woman enough to get your votes even though she disagrees with Sen. Clinton on EVERYTHING?

Del,

We care because it is a total lie. She was at a Governors conference back in April when she went into labor and many people witnessed it.

You and others like you are just plain stupid.

She knew her baby was going to be born with downes syndrome when she was 4 months pregnant but did the "right" thing and delivered the little boy. He is a doll and they all adore him.
Shame on you, you dirty person. How does God let people like you be born or live. You and others like you are satanic.
