Party Time with the Democratic Party’s Presidential Ticket

wings.jpgIs Barack Obama compensating for his despair over the latest CNN Poll — that shows Obama in a dead heat with McCain, and with ZERO convention bounce — by taking other peoples’ food? Seems that presidential nominee Barack Obama helped himself to a pile of chicken wings he didn’t buy and he didn’t order.

The image — from a press pool report yesterday in Hamilton, Indiana — shows a desperately hungry Obama voraciously tearing into other people’s chicken wings.

Obama then joined Joe Biden, who had made directly for the bar when the two candidates arrived, at a table celebrating another birthday.

“He’s eating our appetizers,” said Luanne Gearhart, who had stepped away from the table for a few minutes only to find Obama in her seat. “But God’s made it this way.”

Bless your big Christian heart, Luanne! We’ve all wondered why Obama looks so skinny. I guess we know why now: He’s reduced to stealing food in order to eat! Meanwhile, here’s Joe Biden singin’ for his supper. Dude, thank God you’re too old for American Idol. If you tried out you’d be a star of the bloopers reel. Were you hitting the Natty Bo (for those who don’t know, Natty Bo is shorthand for National Bohemian, a beer unique to Baltimore) before you proved that white men can’t dance?:


Maybe Barack has fallen on economic hard times and can’t afford to buy his own food. I knew we had a near-recession, but I hadn’t realized that the Democratic party’s dynamic duo presidential ticket was one step removed from dumpster diving.

I guess hanging with Barack Obama ain’t exactly the fun gig Biden thought it might be when he signed on to the good ship Titanic II. Yesterday, while Barack was stealing food from little old ladies, Joe reportedly (see the press pool’s report above) headed straight for the restaurant’s bar to find some liquid courage. Probably a good thing it wasn’t karaoke night. Fortified with an adult beverage the hoary Joe Biden might have started to sing the Obama-I’m-a-son-of-a-single-mama blues.

I know that he pays close attention to his weight (he was a chubby kid) which is why he plays basketball and watches what he eats (on the campaign trail during the primaries he would refuse to eat sweets among other things which also made him come off as elitist).

    Man, he must really be stressed out. That photo says it all. He looks awful. Susan, you need to just put that photo at the top of NoQuarter for laughs. Hilarious.

            I am furious right now, but in a way, am glad that McCain’s choice really brought out the underbelly of the “liberal” view point (as seen by the current crop of dem leaders)…it is truly abominable. But it is out there for all Americans and the world to see.

            As I run through my mind all the democratic politicians who proclaimed their support for women and for diversity…I ask, well what really have they done except to use these issues to keep themselves in power? A 9% approval rating of congress with the dems in charge? This has been an eye-opener, and to attack Sara Palin, her family and her children are the height of hipocracy.

            It strikes me as well that HRC was a person I beleived who could get the job done–and her rejection by the DNC just again exposes the democrats for not wanting change–because HRC would not have tolerated this half-ass do nothing congress. OR should I say “full ass”?

            If you asked me a year ago to see the republican ticket as the change ticket, I would have laughed. I’m not laughing any more…the ticket of change and reform this year is McCain/Palin. Do I agree with everything they say? Of course not.

            But the respect I feel is that I know McCain/Palin will listen, will represent all Americans, and will work with all people to ensure this country lives up to its promise. I have to say I’ve been sleeping better knowing McCain/Palin will be at the helm.

            It is the height of arrogance and entitlement that Obama-Soeotoro would try the white guilt thing and threats of race riots to force Americans to vote for him.

            This is still a democracy, I own my own vote, and I will not vote for a person whose mission, I beleive, is to bring down the United States from within.

            RC–thanks for the point of dialogue. I really appreciate your perspective.

    Newt Gingrich now on Hannity said he studied carefully the polls and that 7 of the 8 point bounce Obama got out of the Convention (or “Fixvention” as Amy said) came as consequence of the Clinton speeches. That Obama only got 1 point bounce out of his own speech.

      This is not surprising. Obama can’t win new voters. The Clintons were the only ones able to move a few of their supporters toward Obama with their great speeches. I’m so glad McCain landed a bombshell the morning after his speech to negate any bounce from the convention. I can’t wait to see McCain get a bounce (which I expect to be significant) after the Republican convention.

          I unsubcribed on May 31st after the hijacking RBC, but from what I remember there was a problem with their email with the code going to my bulk folder.

          Delete the contents of your bulk folder.
          Go to the DNC obmacrat mail and click unsubscribe.
          a little dialog box should pop up.
          Leave that window open.
          In another window open your mail program and look in your inbox. If it isn’t in the inbox then check the bulk folder and click open the mail to get the code.
          Enter the 4 digit number into their question box.
          Hit send.

          They took me off their email list. The snail mail I sent them my voter card cut in half and requested they stop sending me obamacrat party propaganda.

      Evidently the Palin family doesn’t feel “punished” by bringing children into the world.

      On an Oprah rerun the other night, Bill Cosby was guesting along with some black professor (don’t remember who) and talking about the low culture that black Americans have fallen into with hip hop, rap, ghetto music etc. Cosby is always great to hear/see as he has been a long time advocate for speaking correctly and living decently. 70% of all black babies are now born to unmarried women without the fathers involved.

      So maybe the Palin women have something to mirror to these women/girls…good to have a Dad around if the birth control fails. Just a guess but most 17 y/o moms don’t plan to get pregnant. Doesn’t matter to me though. Looks as if the family has all well in hand.

    There is FACTUAL info out there concerning Obambi and terrorist Ayers and the crook Rezko, YET the Kossaks in true form won’t touch that info. They would rather go after a child with FALSE info, it does not take a rock scientist to figure out the Kossaks are nothing more than Obambi’s hit squad.

    This country will never change as long as we continue down this road, we need somebody to shake things up, cross the lines of political ideologies and find a common thread that ALL political sides can live with. Palin, as far as I’m concerned has the attributes to do this and perhaps that’s why she might be such a threat to those who don’t want compromise. Life is compromise, we can’t always get everything we want but a balanced compromise is not that tough to live with.

    I would have loved to vote for Hillary but that obviously won’t happen this time around, so my vote has to go where I can get the most compromise in return.

    Palin/McCain are not IDEALLY want I want but I can be an adult and deal with some compromise, instead of the one sided jack boot mentality coming from the Obambi crowd.

    Who would have known, authenticity would be coming from Palin rather than the Democratic party c/o Obambi.

    Americans are fundamentally good people and they are sick and tired of the political divides and infighting from both sides of the isle. Obambi put it out there that he was different, what a crock of chit that turned out to be, what a total farce. McCain on the other hand has immensely much more insight into knowing this divide is NOT what ordinary Americans want going forward. His pick in Palin shows he is prepared and willing to compromise. That is a good thing!!

    BTW, congrats Palin family on the soon to be birth of child. :)

          Back in January when I was learning about ob on my own and doing research in the Chicago papers, etc. to find out who he was before I considered giving him support I was outraged by the Exelon, Palmer and Rezko.

          I remember going to huffy etc. and doing word search for Exelon and it came up zero references.

          I tried again and again on google and very few sites ever vetted him. Same with Ayers, etc, and when they did start mentioning it, it was just to brush it away as tin-foil hattery.

          We can use our tin-foil hats to make popcorn when the public finally sees what we have long known.
