Even though a vote for Obama may not necessarily put the country at risk, any more than voting for the trillion-dollar-deficit, anti-woman Republican agenda, still I agree that a vote against Obama is a vote FOR Women.

But the big question is: Is it a vote for women in a cosmetic sense. Yes, it’ll be great having a woman up there. But what about her belief system. Margie Thatcher ruuined her country! But she was comsetically correct, I admit.

In the final analysis, I feel that Sarah herlsef has learned a great lesson. She trashed Hillary’s valid complaints about sexism earlier on, saying that “gender is not important, a bit of sexism” doesn’t hurt, etc. Well, it’s come back to haunt her. Now Ms Palin realizes that the issues HIllary fought all her life to have discsussed are still there and SHE now is calling them out.

Perhaps, if only for a deserved punch thrown at Obama to stop trashing women and girls and slandering female candidates’ families….then it may be worth it. Like Uppity, some are sitting on the sidelines contemplating the virtues of fair consumerism candidates like nada nader,etc.

I personally feel that foreign relations arguments, other than improving the U.S.image of being thought of as a bully abroad due to Iraq’s unwarranted invasion, are not the deciding factor. As Eisenhower said in 1960, “beware of the military-industrial empire”. Bush taught us that a trillion bucks deficit fighting unstrategic, dumb wars is dumb! McCain or obama, it’s the same thing. Obama’s billionaire backers are the same as McCain’s.

A vote for Obama, though, may put women at risk–and that’s probably what’s going to bring the vital swing vote of the Travelling Pantsuit to McCain’s corner. After all, he put his money where his mouth is, unlike obama. He appointed a spunky, smart, competent woman as his V-P who hopefully has learned that feminism plays a role in politics if she wants to survive her nomination…

Obama’s just another no-gravitas, no-political-instinct, self-involved-and-worse Dukakis-clone. Except Dukakis was a decent man and was very intelligent. The repugnant party destroyed him further…He did not respond to the tank-attack, to his detriment.
So, now, they picked a she-pitbulll..And it’s the only time I can say “thanks” to McCain for being confident enough to chooose a woman. She’ll bite Obambi’s ears off in a chew-and-spit-out-of-the-ring manoevre!

Obama can always go back and resumehis campaign work for Odinga’s next election. He’d make a fine V-P for his billionarie slumlord islamist cousin!
