A Sneak Peek at Sarah’s Speech

For Immediate Release
Wednesday, September 3, 2008
Excerpts: Remarks by Alaska Governor Sarah Palin
Vice Presidential Nominee to Address the 2008 Republican National Convention

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – This evening Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican Party’s vice presidential nominee, will address the 2008 Republican National Convention. Excerpts from the governor’s remarks, as prepared for delivery, are below.

On her experience as a public servant:

“I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education better. When I ran for city council, I didn’t need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too. Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

On why she is going to Washington, D.C.:

“I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion – I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country.”

On energy policies that the McCain-Palin administration will implement:

“Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America’s energy problems – as if we all didn’t know that already. But the fact that drilling won’t solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all. Starting in January, in a McCain-Palin administration, we’re going to lay more pipelines…build more nuclear plants…create jobs with clean coal…and move forward on solar, wind, geothermal, and other alternative sources. We need American energy resources, brought to you by American ingenuity, and produced by American workers.”

On John McCain:

“Here’s how I look at the choice Americans face in this election. In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.”

  • Go Sarah

    WHoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. The Barracuda speaks!!!

  • Roninstia

CNN has a “Sarah Palin Speech” countdown clock running in the corner of the screen. Bwahahaha! Their panties are in a knot.

  • socalannie

Go Saracuda!!! I hope she calls out the media on their deplorable sexist coverage.

  • bemused

Take that, chauvinist pigs! Ohh, the exploding heads. How dare she talk back? We’ll strangle her supporters! Oh, wait, they’re Republicans…

  • J. Smith

“Since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves,” Palin said. “I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a `community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

    Give that punk Obama hell!!!

  • bastardcraig

    That’s what I’m talking about!!!!

  • Mr. X

I saw the ad by McCain pitting Obama against Palin. I hope he keeps that up because it’s hilarious to think that Obama can only stand up to a VP. Then again, Obama has never won where the voters actually had a say. And he’s certainly never won against a Republican… EVER (oh! unless you consider Alan Keyes an actual opposition).

About her speech, from what I see here, she’s able to draw from her experience. Things she’s actually done. I’ve NEVER once heard what Obama has done, other than “community service” (oops, is that not the proper term?).

I also find it funny that the media is accusing McCain of not knowing Palin as well as Obama knows Ayers. Sure, they leave out Ayers, but it’s an unavoidable consequence.

I’m just glad there’s starting to be same pushback against all the lies.

  • Sarahdepity

Sarahdepity will take down the liberal news netowork and render them irrelevant. I am so excited about politics. I thought I had a high when HIllary was in. But now Sarah is givign me hope again. WHoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • http://www.cafepress.com/flyingmonkeyinc/5767556 NObamaNoHow

    Sa-Rah! Sa-Rah! Sa-Rah!

I can’t WAIT to see her deliver this!

  • wodiej

I don’t think Sarah will say alot if anything about the media and the crap about her daughter. If she does it will make it look like she is playing the “victim”. I think she is going to lay out her experience, life and her stance on issues. I think she’ll do an AWESOME job!! If the Dem’s weren’t worried they would not be spending so much time trying to trash her. They are just making themselves utterly stupid.

  • http://firefox AnnieCarmel

    Go Sarah! Clean house tonight!

  • http://commonsensegram.wordpress.com ProudMilitaryMom

I like Gov Palin more and more! That small town mayor/community organizer with responsibility crack is great! Is Barky crying yet????

This is just what I needed after being stuck sick as a dog for the last week! Refreshing indeed! Go Sarah! Kick his scrawny little butt all the way back to Chicago!

  • Geraldo

“I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

    Oh too cute! lolz

  • Ferd McBerfle

Now that’s what I call derision as well as being a true statement. What a great line.

  • s. hall

The media and the DNC cannot or will not believe that we Hillary supporters will vote for a woman who stands for what she believes in even though we might not agree with everything she says. We do however, believe this woman should be in Washington DC as VP for John McCain and there should not be different standards for her. First it was Hillary — I thought well she made enemies — now its this terrific gal who doesn’t pretend to be a Democrat–why do the Democrats feel they need to destroy her? Must be that Obama wants to suck all the air out of the room once again and can’t handle the competition — especially from a woman.

  • Mercedes

“I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

That is classic. It’s all good stuff.

  • mrduffin

I’m watching the US Open Tennis match and the sound has gone off. I wonder if the BO crew is working on scrambing the sat signal during her speech and got on the wrong frequency? Anything is possible it seems with this crew!

  • NotBrainwashed

“Here’s how I look at the choice Americans face in this election. In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.”

    Brilliantly put. Go Barracuda!

  • Go Sarah

She is a republican. She will ignore the media with all that talK ABOut HER DAUGHTER. bUT HER WORDS WILL SOAR tonight. She will not whine about sexism. But she will give them the smack down tonight.

Bring on the issues Sarah. WHoaaaaaaa A barrcuda in the white house.

  • FranSC

I understand from the McCain Campaign that Sarah was chosen, like Barack, because of her speaking abilities, among many other things – not the case with O’s selection. Also, that in debates she destroyed her opponents. I am so excited and watching the count-down clock.

  • Boxer Mum 06

  • s. hall

Geraldo — Obama is now running against the VP nominee because he is too afraid to run against the Presidential Nominee. He shouldn’t be paying attention to anyone but McCain but small minded people do small minded things. Maybe even he knows that the wrong man is on the top of the Democratic Ticket.

  • TwoTermObama

Uh, seriously, who needs to go spelunking around in her familial history for fodder when the peanut butter commercial lady says shit like this in public. This lady is WHACK!

In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it “God’s will.”

Palin asked the students to pray for the troops in Iraq, and noted that her eldest son, Track, was expected to be deployed there.

“Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God,” she said. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God’s plan.”

A video of the speech was posted at the Wasilla Assembly of God’s Web site before finding its way on to other sites on the Internet.

Palin told graduating students of the church’s School of Ministry, “What I need to do is strike a deal with you guys.” As they preached the love of Jesus throughout Alaska, she said, she’d work to implement God’s will from the governor’s office, including creating jobs by building a pipeline to bring North Slope natural gas to North American markets.

“God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,” she said.

“I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded,” she added. “But really all of that stuff doesn’t do any good if the people of Alaska’s heart isn’t right with God.”

Palin attended the evangelical church from the time she was a teenager until 2002, the church

Going over to kick off the opening party for the new McCain/Palin headquarters.

Guess the Dems think they don’t have to be worried about CA. No notices of any campaign going on here. Hope they continue to take us for granted!

Until last week, it seemed that there were only Obama support letters in our local paper but suddenly every Obama supporter has a challenging response the next day. I have submitted one on the Ayers/Annenberg connection. Hope it gets in because the papers are not doing anything on their own.

There’s a countdown clock to Sarah’s speech on the CNN screen. They just had a Democrat woman on who explained why so many Hill supporters are turning up and coming out enthusiastically for Sarah. And first it’s eBay and Hewlett-Packard to the podium. It’s an all woman night. This is awesome.

Introducing Sarah Palin, America’s New Sweetheart!

Early this year, an op-ed in the Anchorage Daily News ripped into Gov. Sarah Palin’s appearance on a morning “shock jock” radio show as “plain and simple one of the most unprofessional, childish and inexcusable performances I’ve ever seen from a politician.”

So what happened? Palin has repeatedly feuded with the state’s Senate president, Lyda Green, over a wide range of legislation. Last January, Palin appeared on “The Bob and Mark Show,” whose host Bob Lester despises Green. That’s when the trouble started:

Early on in the conversation before Palin started to crack up, Lester referred to Sen. Green as a jealous woman and a cancer. Palin, who knows full well Lyda Green is a cancer survivor, didn’t do what any decent person would do, say, “Bob, that’s going too far.”
But as the conversation moved on, Lester intensified his attack on Green.

Lester questioned Green’s motherhood, asking Palin if the senator cares about her own kids. Palin laughs.

Then Lester clearly sets the stage for what he is about to say by warning his large audience and Palin. He says, “Governor you can’t say this but I will, Lyda Green is a cancer and a b—-.” Palin laughs for the second time.

What were teenage boys thinking when they heard the governor laugh at someone being called a b—-? How about the teenage girls who look up to Palin. What did they think when they heard her laugh?

But there is more. Lester then describes Green’s chair as big and cushy. A clear reference to the senator’s weight. Palin laughs a third time. She’s just having a grand old time.

Palin was clearly enjoying every second of Lester’s vicious attack on her political rival.

That speech is going to tear the Target Center down. Cannot wait!

I’m not even going to post all the links. If you would like to see 6 new video spots (some ads, some footage) from today, including Rudy Giuliani and Newt Gingrich crushing the media over it’s coverage of Palin, as well as John McCain being greeted at the Minneapolis airport by his family and the family of Sarah Palin, please come here:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal

The first 6 videos on the grid below the ‘featured video’ are all from today. I’m uploading another spot right now, where FOX’s Megyn Kelly destroys US Weekly senior editor who tries to justify their outrageous, slanderous cover of Sarah Palin. To see that, shortly, click on the number (40-something) besides the ‘videos’ label beside the 9-video grid on my channel.

Keyes had less than 3 months to campaign, just 86 days. Most had no idea who he even was. Plus he was carpetbagging. Yet look how many votes he got. He took about 27% of the vote. Now imagine if he’d had the same amount of time Obama had/had to campaign. There was a reason Obama lost congress in a landslide. Had to run for office unopposed. He’s never won an election based on his character, and the things he’s accomplished. Did for his constituents. He knows it and we know it. That’s why it’s all show and glitz, chanting. Divert and distract for him and his campaign. The MSM. They know it too.

Here’s another brilliant angle to putting Palin up against BO/BS: One of the obamba’s arguments against McCain is, He’s so old, he’ll die, then what? Now we see the answer, the young VP will still kick BO/BS’s butt on every front, including age and looks.

Yes, s. hall, the DNC and media keep saying Hillary supporters will eventually “come home” to the dems because they will not be able in the end to vote for someone against Roe v Wade. Just watch!

I have always been defensive when it comes to R v W, but no more will I be held hostage because of Roe. Roe has divided women for years! We need to stick together to unleash the power of the women’s vote. Conservative and liberal women should support Governor Palin because she is an impressive candidate who is better qualified than BO. At the very least, ALL women should defend her against sexism. Sexism from a woman is particularly disgusting. This is what women’s rights is REALLY about, as in this case, banning together to elect a well-qualified woman NOT whether or not she is liberal or conservative. We need both! This should be a bi-partisan effort as it started out to be in the 70′s.

The republicans are really knocking themselves out to be the new party of the people. Since I turned it on a little while ago the speakers have been women (3 so far, incl Meg Whitman & Carly F.), a Latino & an AA.

By contrast, the Dem conv looked like it was trying to put itself across as the party of cool people.

If this is a bona fide excerpt, the GOP is dead in the water. The LAST thing she should be doing at this point is going on about her rugged rural down-home-girl bio … we already know WAAAAY TOO MUCH about her now as it is.

“I rock the casbah” just doesn’t resonate well with the “humble hockey mom” image. Come on – “the fact that drilling won’t solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all”? Money allocated to drilling in ANWR by the DOE is money taken away from renewables: the pie is not infinite. How idiotic does she think people are, anyway? The net gain from proposed ANWR drilling (at peak performance, circa 2025-2035) will knock a massive 5-6 CENTS off of the price of a barrel of oil … if that. Enjoy your 1.3 cents/gallon bonanza, America!

Speculation could wipe out the whole benefit from drilling in ANWR in about 30 minutes flat in heavy trading. As if no-one knows how beholden her state is to Big Oil, or that much of that crude will just be sold abroad anyway (unless you favor a socialist energy policy, i.e., nationalizing the oil industry). Nice try, girl.

There’s only one strategy that can benefit her at this point, & it looks as if she’s going to ignore it completely. She has to make her speech about how awful Obama is – if it’s not focusing on “Obama bad, McCain good” it’s a flop, period. McCain was at least in the running when his entire campaign was about Obama 24-7, & what an evil elitist crypto-Muslim terrorist-loving radical he was – making himself &/or Palin into the focus is a guaranteed ride on the fail-train.

    Goodbye frying-pan, hello fire.

Media not to blame that Palin story line fell apart
    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

    Thursday, September 04, 2008
    JAY BOOKMAN

The McCain campaign and much of the Republican Party are outraged at media coverage of Sarah Palin. McCain strategist Steve Schmidt set the tone perfectly Wednesday, whining about a “faux media scandal designed to destroy the first female Republican nominee.”

Well, cry me a river. Let’s take that claim apart, and let’s start with this:

A relative handful of columnists and commentators and a larger number of bloggers have indeed wondered in public about Palin’s decision to accept the nomination so soon after giving birth to a son with Down syndrome, a condition that requires a lot of attention, and when she has a 17-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter. How, they have asked, could Palin do right both by her family and her country?

To the McCain camp, such questions constitute a “vicious and scurrilous” media campaign to ruin a promising conservative candidate, using sexism to do it. Is that true?

Fortunately, we have a similar set of circumstances to compare against the Palin case.
In March of 2007, John Edwards decided to continue his presidential campaigning even after his wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The reaction will sound familiar.

Rush Limbaugh said the Edwardses were turning their eyes to the campaign when they instead should turn their eyes to God. Katie Couric, in a “60 Minutes” interview, accused Edwards of mining his wife’s condition for sympathy votes.

“Even those who may be very empathetic to what you all are facing might question your ability to run the country at the same time you’re dealing with a major health crisis in your family,” Couric told Edwards.

And in Time magazine, columnist Jay Carney wrote that “surely many average Americans have to be wondering at what point the candidate will decide that his duties as husband and father to three children, including a 6- and 8-year-old, trump his duty to his country and the cause of winning the White House.”

Edwards is a man; he is also a liberal. Yet, he faced the same questioning and second-guessing that Palin is now undergoing. Why? Because human beings are drawn to human stories, and the media have an economic incentive to tell those stories, regardless of political bent.

The McCain’s camp complaint about a media “feeding frenzy” focused on Palin is even more precious. John McCain chose to introduce a totally unknown player to the national scene at a critical point in the campaign, and he did so by portraying her as a gun-toting mother of five, riding out of the wilds of Alaska like a female John Wayne to clean up Washington.

And they claim to be shocked at the “feeding frenzy” they set off? In the first hours after the announcement, TV reporters had so little information about Palin that they were reduced to reading off Wikipedia for information. Of course, the media descended on Alaska to try to fill in the gaps as quickly as possible.

The story the McCain camp peddled was so appealing that Palin even drew coverage from Us magazine, People and National Enquirer, outlets that would never have wasted ink on a Kay Bailey Hutchison or Tim Pawlenty. Their interest was human, not political.

The real reason Schmidt is angry is because the reporting has shown that so much of the original McCain narrative was untrue.

Palin was cast as a reformer who fought the infamous “Bridge to Nowhere.” But in fact, she ran for governor in 2006 as a champion of the pork-barrel bridge and “opposed” it only after it was clear the project was dead. We were told that Palin abhors earmarks, the special congressional appropriations that Alaska politicians have used to bleed billions from the American taxpayer. But it turns out Palin fought to get earmarks both as mayor and as governor, hiring lobbyists and going to Washington herself to bring them home.

It’s not the media’s fault that the cinematic story envisioned by McCain and his staff has fallen apart on closer inspection. They just didn’t do their homework, and they got caught.

  • Andrew

    His sons look like photocopies.

  • Linda C.

Obama is the weaker candidate. All of the fluff and bluster by the DNC and fauxgressives regarding Palin doesn’t change that fact. I just wish they would stop whining about it. I never seen a group of people whine more that they “won” and whine over what the republicans are doingwith a VP pick. They have an election to run and this isn’t going to cu it.

Britian is going through a economic meltdown and the dems get consumed about Palin and who is going to take care of her children if she gets elected. Well get off your whiner go round and maybe she won’ be elected….the dems are chronically stupid.

  • WarriorofG-d

Hey- Larry- you are our CIA guy- what is up with the FBI and the briefing that Obama had with national security- could this be when they stole Palin’s social security and they questioned Obama on it?

  • Andrew

    Fuck off!

As far as I’m concerned if that ‘community organizer’ line is the only thing that pops in her speech, that is going to rock their socks. These people are stupid for trying to tangle with this woman because it only points out 0bama’s flaws and weakeness.

In all of the years, this is the first time I’ve seen the opposing campaign and its supporters be so consumed with the VP choice. I just saw Sally Quinn make an ass out of herself. She supports 0bama, why should she care if McCain picked someone who in her eyes is a loser. Seems to me the 0bama campaign should be pleased.

Zoomer stated downstairs that the Dem Party left that he didn’t leave it.

Some brilliant person or persons at the DNC convinced their compadres to believe in their vision for the future of the Dem. Party. Without question – there is always a leader who is followed by followers. Who this person is I do not know.

Nevertheless, some Party ELITE with bat shit for brains convinced the followers with bat shit for brains to trust in their vision for the Party.

Census predicts the AA population will grow exponentially over the next couple of decades. Therefore, the Dem Party needs to build and solidify this growing voter base. What better way to do that than insure the nomination of a man who portrays himself to be an African American.

However, this ELITE or ELITES made one very, very bad calculation in their decision making to build the base which is that WE women, and YES that includes ALL women, and “feminist” men have human brains and can think for ourselves.

You see, these ELITES and their minions threaten that under a McCain Administration we, the Democratic faithful, will see a whole new bench of conservative, anti abortion Supremes who will thrust the death nail into Roe v Wade once and for all.

BUT, what they don’t EVER mention is the FACT, that the Senate and the House will be in the safe hands of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party WILL HOLD THE MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSES. Hell, the Dem’s are expecting to pick up seats in November which will only strengthen their majority.

Remember, the President nominates a SCOTUS BUT it’s the Senate who APPROVES the nominee.

Therefore, IF the Dem’s are true to Roe v Wade then their Senate brethren would NEVER put such neo cons on the Court. Right?

    Right!

Therefore, I could give a rats ass about their R v W pandering. That is b/c WE, the voters, can hold our Congressional delegation accountable.

And we do that every two years with our vote.

Enough about the R v W scare tactics. I will not cast my vote in November out of fear. It’s simply not going to happen.

  • socalannie

  • Geraldo

UHHHHHHH – how come CNN all of a sudden pulls two black female commentators out of the woodwork? Faces I’ve never seen before? OK tell me to take off the tin foil hat but seriously – this starts thirty minutes before Sarah’s speech? The message is “hey Obama has hot black women in his camp you don’t need that bitchy white Alaskan woman”. OK I’ll check if I got a tin foil hat on but I just think it’s really curious.

  • sayitisntso

    They’re going crazy there.

  • Phishmelt

I don’t know. I’m voting mccain, but I have to vote DEMS all the way down the rest of the ticket. After hearing romney I remembered what I didn’t like about him.

  • RepublicanChick

I doubt it. Linda won’t get off the stage. Lovely Linda, but please I’m ready to move on.

    Its Rudy Time!!!

  • Phishmelt

If anyone saw those women take on the men on CSPAN it was quite funny at one point. The guy suggested something that they turned around into saying:

no women should ever run from here on because if something happens they have to quite and go fix it.

The men were squirming in their seats after a while.

  • sayitisntso

    yeah, shaddup michael moore

  • http://www.redstate.com/diaries/redstate/2008/aug/30/tale-of-the-tape-sarah-palin-vs-barack-obam/ Jeremiah God Damn Amerikkka Wright

If Karl is able to pull this one off considering he is for the first time facing people even more vile than himself in running a campaign, my hat will forever be off to him as the greatest political strategist in history.

  • Phishmelt

as a true democrat, i also can’t stand rudy. he was an empty suit himself. the stories about him moving the command center into the twin towers. Jerk.

    McCain

  • sayitisntso

What did Guiliani say about the President and voting present? i missed it

  • wodiej

he was talking about Obama voted present 130 times, as President you can’t just be present, you have to make a decision.

  • http://www.redstate.com/diaries/redstate/2008/aug/30/tale-of-the-tape-sarah-palin-vs-barack-obam/ Jeremiah God Damn Amerikkka Wright

He said Obama couldnt figure out how do vote yes or no yes or no…IT WAS TOO HARD.

But you CAN’t Vote Present as President!

  • http://www.redstate.com/diaries/redstate/2008/aug/30/tale-of-the-tape-sarah-palin-vs-barack-obam/ Jeremiah God Damn Amerikkka Wright

Regarding his 300 policy advisors and getting it wrong on Georgia”

I have some advice for Senator Obama. Next Time Call John McCaine! – Rudy

    OMG HAHAHA

Rudy is fucking eating barrack alive!!!!!

    OMG

  • wodiej

yes, Rudy’s talking about Palin having time for kids thing…never asked a man that. Palin won’t need to address any of that stuff, the speakers did it for her.

  • Athena The Warrior

The reason why Obama got to run against Alan Keyes was because he pulled his typical MO and has his supporters convince the judge to unseal the divorce records of his opponent the popular Jack Ryan.

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/about/chi-0406240383jun24,0,7506323.story

    http://1007eastgrand.blogspot.com/2008/07/short-political-history-of-barack-obama.html

Jack Ryan was forced to drop out. The Republicans tried getting other people to fill the slot including Mike Ditka but were stuck with Alan Keyes who Obama easily beat 74% to 24%.

Obama wouldn’t know fair play if it bit him in the ass.

  • Doug

    Go Sarah!!

  • sayitisntso

    RNC kick A**

  • sayitisntso

    thx wodji

  • sayitisntso

    and Jerimiah, thx.

    Guiliani whooped the Demos!

  • Jillie

that was the best…he put one hand up and said..that is yes. and he put another hand up and said…that is no. and then, with both hands down, he said..i didn’t know there was another alternative. but obama didn’t vote yes or no, he voted present. you can’t vote present when youre mayor or governor. you have to make a decision.

  • street_parade

I have to admit, as much as I detest her husband…I’ve always kind of liked Laura Bush, maybe because I think she’s a secret smoker.

    Rock on, Republican women!

  • street_parade

Somebody’s scared…right sweetie? When’s that first debate, then? McCain suddenly seems so dynamic with his superstar VP. BO is sooo last spring.

Obama’s going to burn, burn, burn to the wick because of the barracuda. Hah, hah!

  • street_parade

I REALLY hope that Hillary will have something to say in support of Palin against this BS. You don’t have to agree with Gov. Palin’s politics to stand up against this crap.

Democratic women REALLY need to do this – they are losing credibility FAST. The Republican’s are looking like the party of women’s equality, the world is turning upside down.

  • Postmaster

waaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaa wait! Is that Michelle squalling? No? It’s Obama and Biden. How does it feel to get spanked boys?

  • street_parade

Having just come from a month in the UK, I can’t say that I noticed much of a meltdown. Everything (restaurants, shops) seemed packed and busy in London. The UK is having many of the same problems the US is having, albeit with (slightly) better leadership. Though I must say that Chancellor Darling does have a talent for overstatement and causing panic.

  • street_parade

You guys really need to stop demonizing white folks – being white does NOT make you a Nazi. If this is Axelrove’s election strategy – he really needs to find another one.

Oh, and it’s okay to be a woman too. In fact being a woman is great!

  • FranSC

To Two-Term Obama: I won’t put any credibility in your post regarding Palin’s ‘laughter’ responses(not words!)to the “Shock Jock” critic of AKA State Sen Lynda Green until I hear the other side.

  • Adriana

For a person to sit around and wait for another person to fall or fail is down themselves. Only one who wishes the best for others no matter who they maybe is well off themselves in heart, mind and skin.

  • Adriana

im a republic, but they have not done anything to be proud of. He selected a woman to run the country if he dies that cant even run her own household. And has one foot on a banana and one foot in the grave, let hope he’s not sometime forgetful. He’s just too old and she’s not ready.
