Funny how, whenever the media decides to examine itself… they always get a clean bill of health. I can’t tell you haw many times Howard Kurz has whitewashed despicable press behavior on his show.
Fact is: there is very little journalism worthy of the name any longer in the US. It’s all ‘infotainment’. Aside from the McClatchy newspaper group it looks like we’ll have to get our hard news from the National Enquirer in between the “BatBoy has Elvis’ Love Child” headlines.

When I was a journalist, we asked the right questions: who, what, when, where, why and how. We kept at it even when we hit road blocks.
