Swiftboat Redux?

Now this is just ironic. Some of you may recall that not too long ago, Andrew Sullivan attacked yours truly. My sister sent me a link to Andrew’s latest drivel, more attack on Sarah Palin (if you feel you must read his piece, here is the LINK). For him to use an undocumented comment by someone who CLAIMS to be from Alaska and to know all of these players involved is poor journalism at best, and tabloid at worst. In general, not just on this issue, that is. But that is Andrew’s problem. He isn’t a real journalist, he just poses as one.

In case anyone missed it, this is what Larry Johnson wrote to him at No Quarter after Andrew started the rumors about Bristol Palin being the mother of Trig:

Fuck You Andrew Sullivan

You piece of human scum. Pick the time and date. I will kick your ass. You are despicable. There is one indisputable fact–Sarah Palin gave life to a baby boy who has Down’s Syndrome. And you dare to suggest that this was an illegitimate birth by her daughter. You have no sense of decency or honor. You deserve to be beaten in every manner conceivable. You and your cohorts spread this vicious lie. You are a spineless coward. There is only one truth. Sarah Palin’s Down’s Syndrome baby has more humanity and intelligence than you will ever achieve in your pathetic life. You are a synonym for asshole. I will fight you with one arm tied behind my back and destroy you. Please, accept the challenge.

In other words, Sullivan’s a tool.

Here’s the thing – by spreading rumors, and posting unsubstantiated “comments” of Palin’s time in Wasilla (I have seen other comments that were more favorable by the people who lived there, as well as in a BIG article about her in Time.com), it weakens the argument against her. The amount of time she was governor is a slippery slope for Democrats since Obama has spent very little time in the Senate – he has missed almost HALF of the Senate votes, and started campaigning almost as soon as he got in. So, Democrats need to be mighty careful on that one – especially since she is not at the top of the ticket and Obama is. It just sets them up, is my point. I have tried to find independent, reliable verification of this story, but have not been able to do so. Huffington Post is the main source for this story, and they are notoriously slanted. Oh, and Palin has the highest approval rating of any governor in the COUNTRY. Which is why I say those who want to slam her must have documentation to support their claims against her.

Along those lines – NO ONE in the Obama camp should follow up on Palin allegedly “biting the hand” that got her where she is given what he did to Alice Palmer, and the NUMEROUS people he has now thrown under the bus. (By the way, did you know that Bill Ayers lives about 1 1/2 blocks away from Obama? And the Farrakhan compound is right up the street from Ayers? H/T to Truthteller for this info! Coincidence?? Hahahahaha.) So, yeah – I’d let that one lie if I was him…

Even more than that, though, the Obama people should NEVER chastise anyone else for not being “vetted.” Obama has NEVER been fully vetted, certainly not by the MSM. Had he, he would not be the nominee now. He has too many shady associates (add Kilpatrick to that list), too few legislative accomplishments, too little experience, and no paper trail at ALL. NONE. (How can that be? Hell, I have a paper trail, and I’m not running for president! I have old date books – I even know where they are! I have files, for cryin’ out loud!! With papers in them! Really! And Obama doesn’t?? Uh, sure.)

Frankly, this is the kind of thing Bush supporters did to Al Gore and John Kerry. It is disturbing to me that the Left Wing has started acting so much like the Right Wing in its actions. Perhaps it learned too well from the Bushits. But this is not the Democratic Party I knew – maybe I was/am naive, but I expect my Party to act ethically and with integrity. It has lost out on both counts in a major way this year. I don’t recognize it any more – well, not as Democratic anyway. And bear in mind, I was clinging to the far left corner of the DNC before this. Not a centrist am I. The sexism and misogyny ALONE this year has been nothing but shocking and unprecedented. Women are the BACKBONE of the DNC, and it has treated us like pure shit. Now, it is starting on Palin. I never thought I’d see this day. I am truly dismayed by this. McCain came out FORCEFULLY against the media and DEMOCRATS attacking Palin for not staying home and taking care of her babies! What is this – 1958??? The DEMOCRATS are saying this, and the REPUBLICANS are the ones standing up for women! I feel like I am living in upside-down world. Bush and Obama claim to be Uniters, and both have divided this country more than anyone else I can remember. Friends end friendships, families are fighting – what the hell is going ON???? I guess “Uniter” is supposed to be defined as “divider” now…

Bottom line is this – go after Palin’s POLICY positions, and there are certainly ones that are 180 degrees from many Progressives. But the Swift-Boating will backfire, I think. It infuriated us when it happened to our candidate because it was based on lies and innuendo. I hardly think we should be using the same tactics now.

Sigh. I am passionate about this, as you see. I am sad, sad that the DNC has acted so immorally, so unethically, and engaged in flat out fraud. Maybe this kind of thing has been going on for years and I just didn’t see it or know it, but if so, it sure wasn’t this blatant. Not by half. I cannot stand to see the Democrats engaging in such sleazy politics. And I am furious at the way they are treating women. What does it say when the RNC and McCain come out guns BLAZING about the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin, when Obama ENGAGED in sexist treatment of Clinton, and the DNC supported it, said nothing, and its leaders engaged in it. Now they are turning it on Palin. That is simply unacceptable to me. Completely, and utterly unacceptable. I will not condone that kind of treatment of women. And let me say this – if this is how Obama is treating Clinton and Palin now, you cannot claim he will watch out for women if president. If he treats women like this, over half the population, what hope do members of the GLBT community have? And so it goes down the line. How incredibly, disturbingly, sad…

Obama and his supporters are as low as anyone can go. But there are surprises: they will no doubt go lower.

Obama’s Democratic Party: Home of Sexism, Misogyny, Racism, and the Glass Ceiling for Women

      • Hope Floats

It turns out Obama is a radical leftist, and his supporters are insane. I don’t see this going any better than Kerry – in fact, worse.

  • Pink Panther

The luny left has gone so far out of limits it is now touching the radical right.

    Obama truly is Bush 3

Obama supporters are neo-cons in behavior.

We didn`t leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left us.

    • Fuck you Barack Obama!

      Excellent summary!

    • Steven Mather

Left and right are points on a continuum, but that continuum arcs to form a circle.

The original point signifies liberty, fraternity, and equality, i.e., common decency. It is complimented by a point 180 degrees away, which signifies totalitarianism, i.e., a place where people are seen solely as resources for the elite. The farther right or left one travels, the closer one gets to totalitarianism, where the extreme right and left become as one.

        Steve,
We went to the same poly-sci class at different schools, buddy.
        We put, sir…

      • stodghie

actually i think the far left was always like this but we were so focused on the behavior of the conservatives, we just didn’t see it in focus.

        Do you mean like this?

        http://thoughtsaloud.com/pages/political_circle.htm

Actually, Ronald Regan said it best:

“You and I are told increasingly that we have to choose between a left or right, but I would like to suggest that there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down–up to a man’s age-old dream, the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order–or down to the ant heap totalitarianism, and regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this downward course.”
        -Ronald Regan

    • Dan

Now you guys are starting to find out what we Republicans have known for a long time: The far left lives in an alternative parallel universe where normal rules of logic and “common sense” do not apply.

The best single thing that can happen to your party is to have John McCain and Sarah Palin win in November, giving you the excuse to flush infantile turds like Donna Brazille, Howard Dean, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi that have hijacked it.

      • K Lynne

Also as a Republican, however, the far right lives that another parallel universe.

I view electing McCain as the first step towards taking control back from that universe. IMO, the fact that his nomination made Limbaugh’s head explode is a very good thing and a very good sign ;-) .

        • mimi

I agree. Both of the above comments are right on!

      • Andrew

The left is much more hostile to freedom of expression than the right. The Constitution says that Congress shall make “No law” abridging the freedom of speech; the left says, “Except for hate speech.” Leftist feminists demand that pornography be banned for degrading women. It’s worth remembering that George Orwell’s dystopias in Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty Four were dictatorships of the left, not the right.

        • Yo

And isn’t it the far left that now wants to pass an amendment banning free speech in radio programs such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage (yuck!!!) and the internet. Yes, it is the left and it is Pelosi behind it.

          • http://home.comcast.net/~vincep312 VinceP1974

If I can beesch all of those living in Congressional districts with a (D)-Rep and who possibly has influence on them.

Indiana Rep Mike Pense has a bill in the House that will forever ban any policy like the Fairness Doctrine from being implemented or ordered by an agency.

Nancy Pelosi is refusing to allow a floor vote on the bill.

Nancy and the other radicals are planning on implemented the policy after the election to destroy talk radio.

The bill can get to a floor vote by a parliamentary procedure called a discharge petition.

Nancy Pelosi told all her Dems not to vote for it,, and so far NOT A SINGLE DEMOCRAT congressman will agree to the petition.. Not a single one.

This is horrible politics and can only be intended for unconstitutional purposes.

Can you please appeal to your Congressperson to support the Discharge Petition.

        • JozefAL

Well, if you exclude the Christian Conservatives from your “right”, you might have a point. Otherwise, you’re off your rocker.
I’d also point out that Orwell condemned ALL dictatorships (since they all share many points in common). Animal Farm was very loosely based on the events of the Russian Revolution and 1984 (as I recall reading) was rather neutral in its actual political leanings.
Orwell, it should be noted, went to Spain and fought FOR the Republican forces (which included many Communist and Marxist factions–the group Orwell was actually assigned to was linked with the Spanish Workers’ Party of Marxist Unification). Orwell was an ardent Socialist but he was also a staunch anti-Stalinist (the Workers’ Party group he worked with was condemned as too affiliated with Trotsky by the pro-Stalin Spanish Communist Party and was outlawed which led to Orwell’s anti-Stalinism). He wasn’t specifically condemining “dictatorships of the left” as much as he was condemning Stalin. Orwell was also strongly opposed to Zionism but also worked against anti-Semitism at the same time. Orwell, it seems, is not a man whom one can easily pigeonhole.

    • Perry Logan

I challenge the statement that Obama is a radical leftist. He voted for the Bush-Cheney energy bill (the worst bill ever passed); he voted for FISA; wants more guns, wants more executions. He comes from the absurdly right-wing University of Chicago.

If Obama is anything, he’s a neocon.

I say let them go for it. It makes Gov Palin stronger and further exposes the rot that infects the Democratic Party. Clean up begins Nov 5.

    • cdo

I agree 100%. The more they wallow in stupid gossip and ignore actual politics, the worse Obama’s position becomes.

His supporters are doing a great job of making him into a world class buffoon.

          • startsense

OK this is over the line. Pull back.
Andrew’s political views may (often) be off, but using blatant and absurd homophobia to attack him is no better than loony bots attacking Palin in unsavory ways via blatant sexism…and before that, the same outrageous attacks upon Hillary, also courtesy of outrageous sexism.
The comments in this thread should have been moderated but were not so I call them out as the hate speech they are, and no better than vile Obamabot rants. This is deeply disturbing and the makes you (us) no better than them. Reconsider your approach, next time. Andrew’s views can be agreed with or attacked, it’s a free country still thank god. But his sexuality should be as off limits as Sarah Palin’s or Hillary’s.
See the horrid consistency….and don’t fall into the trap of attacking ad hominem attacks with even more (execrable) ad homina yourselves. We are the party of inclusion? When did we descend to their level? Shame.

    • http://www.rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com AmyinSC

Yes. It is a “Comment” he saw from someone at an Alaska newspaper who claims to be in the know of all that went on in Wasilla, particularly with the Librarian with whom she had some kind of issue – this particular one has it that Palin wanted to ban some books, but the librarian wouldn’t do it, and Palin backed down (I cannot get any verifiable info on that, either). And then there is the Police Chief, whom she fired. Never mind tat a judge ruled that she was within her rights to do so. Why bother with facts when innuendo and falsehoods will do? Anyway, Sullivan said the Commenter had been around a City Council meeting or two. Yeah, okay. No info on the woman, if she really exists, etc.

      • Sally Forster is Evil

Oh I wouldn’t fret about all the inuindos. One thing about the Replublicans, they can play a mean game of chess.

The Dems are shooting themselves in the foot. I have not doubt that when the time is right, Palin is going to clue America into the fact that the man she wanted fired had tazered his step-son.

Oh yeah… America loves bullies! She is bound to only become a bigger than life character as time goes on.

Like that woman who’s son was kidnapped by his Boy Scout leader. She shot his ass dead. When asked, she said she would gladly spend the rest of her life in jail so long as her son could wake up every morning knowing that the beast who harmed him would never harm him again.

She was tried, convicted and spent a short time in jail before her sentence was commuted.

        That’s my kind of woman.

        • mimi

I could not have served on that jury. I would never have been able to convict her.

      • Retired

That’s nothing, I’ve heard that Palin likes to “pipeline” caribou that she just shot.

Anyone can make disgusting stuff up. And made up dirt just satisfies the taste for bile that hatemongering Obamites crave.

For the normal as of yet undecided voter that both sides need to attract, Sullivan might as well be paying them to vote McCain. If they ever see his stuff, they will be voting for McCain out of their disgust for Sullivan, Kind of a reverse Swift boating, Of course, unlike John Kerry, Obama and most of his disciples that are troweling out this drivel have never been on a Swift boat, or any other type of military watercraft, to begin with.

      • mimi

There was the content of an email posted on another thread dealing with someone who knew someone in Alaska and it had the whole story of Sarah.

I told them it was too professionally written. The tone too precise for an email from an ordinary person.

Whether the whitey tape exists or not I am not sure, but if you are going to whine, get your facts straight. Larry always said the tape would be out late October. • http://www.rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com AmyinSC

And it has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. For the gazillionith time, LARRY as never said HE had it. In fact, he has said quite the opposite. So, why do you keep asking this ridiculous question? Try to stay focused, will you?

    • Ani

Quite frankly, if you think any sensible person needs the “Whitey tape” to have good reason NOT to vote for Barack Obama, I suggest you take a moment, please, to adjust your goggles:

His inexperience; his lousy judgment in terms of his long time associates; his 130 ‘present’ votes and 6 ‘wrong’ votes in State Senate [bespeaking a man lacking in moral courage, unable to make a decision, or afraid to make the wrong one and have it stuck to him for an election --take your pick -- any of those is horrid for a leader.]

His reneging on FISA and so many of his other campaign promises, his horrid disrespect of women and Hillary in particular, his playing of the race card constantly (setting race relations back in this country).

His willingness to constantly insult anyone who did not vote for him. His telling a different tune on policy to every audience he speaks to; his unwillingness to show his State Senate records, college records, authentic birth certificate, his full medical records (he has released a 1-page statement from a doctor, McCain has released thousands of pages), any policy papers or articles — you’re kiddin’ me, right?

      Who is this man?

We are supposed to take a leap of faith like this on such an individual and make him Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and leader of the free world?

Especially when the economy is in the toilet (which he knows nothing about) and we are still stuck in two wars with the thug Putin trying some new funny business? As of two weeks ago, Obama didn’t even realize that Russia has veto power in the U.N.

He did not hold one subcommittee meeting on NATO/Afghanistan in 20 months (using the explanation that he was ‘campaigning’). Please. Who here thinks Hillary or McCain would have had such a lame and pitiful excuse. Try multitasking, Senator Obama.

He is as arrogant as he is clueless and is so comfy that the fix was in for him with the DNC that he didn’t even bother doing his homework.

Here’s a hot flash — a teleprompter will not save him in the oval office. The buck stops there.

We need genuine leadership and humility and a willingness to listen and someone who actually gives a damn. That, unfortunately, is not Senator Obama.

Who in the hell needs the “whitey tape” or cares?

      • Leisa

        Excellent post, Ani!

      • Andrew

I agree, but I’ve always hoped that it might be the one thing that could force BHO out of the race in time for Hillary to replace him on the ballot. I know it’s wishful thinking, but my blood boils every time I think about the way she has been treated, and the country has been cheated.

      • mimi

        Thank you Ani,

I know I don’t need the whitey tape.

    • athena

If you are so “unconcerned” then what the hell are you doing here?

Obama let us know there really is a whitey tape when he started defending MEchelle for sayin why’d he, why’d he. I cannot wait to see it. All is not lost though. Root is no fan of the Democratic nominee: “A vote for Obama is four years of Karl Marx, and no one should be happy about that,” he told us and a few genial young libertarian activists over cocktails. “He’s a communist! I don’t care what anybody says. The guy’s a communist…. And his mother was a card-carrying communist, and he says she’s the most important person in his entire life; he learned everything from her.”

But the thing Root really wanted to talk about was Obama’s grades. Specifically, he was willing to bet a million dollars that he earned a better grade point average at Columbia than his old classmate, and that the only reason Obama went on to Harvard Law School was the color of his skin.

    http://www.reason.com/news/show/128461.html

    • mimi

I read the Interview, Root sounds like an asshole.

But something he said bugs me too:

Root: “I think the most dangerous thing you should know about Barack Obama is that I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knows him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever!”

This bugs the hell out of me. Mostly because it’s my understanding that he didn’t join the Black Alumni Association and it appears that no black classmates knew him either.

Who the hell was he hanging out with?

  • MrMike

Larry doesn’t have to step up, I’m sure Sarah Palin could beat Andrew Sullivan to a pulp then start in on Matthews and finish up with Obermann, and not break a sweat.
I don’t care who wins in November, as long as it isn’t Obama. He was in York and Lancaster yesterday but he didn’t visit the Harley Davison plant. He was afraid that they might ask for a photo op on a motorcycle and he would fall off.
The Democrat Party meme is “Vote for us because we will have a majority and will get things done”. It doesn’t matter how much of a majority those cowards Reid and Pelosi have, the republicans will still tie them in knots. And Harry will write a nasty letter then apologize for it the next day.

    • fluffy bunny

Nah, he didn’t go to the Harley plant because all those REAL hardworking men might have dirt on their hands. Ewwwwwww. Kind of like he won’t interact with enlisted troops. Senior officers are the only military members “smart” enough for him to “waste” his time with.

  • Papoose

    Fuchyourself Andrew Sullivan.

The DNC, Sen. Obama. and all the rest that supports him can not handle the truth, they do not know how to tell the truth. “She will do anything to win….”

Now who will not do anything to win? Now they want the Clintons and anybody to beat up Sarah, oh poor Obama. I hope Sen. Clinton will stay away from DNC for now.

Sen. John MacCain threw a curved ball to Obama and struck him out and DNC and the followers are schrambling. The game is still on, McCain express is on the way.

Thank God United States America is full of qualified and able candidates, not those that run for the sake of history, this country makes history everyday, USA makes history everyday. The American People are the greatest equalizer.

    • fluffy bunny

Sarah Palin will do anything to win? That sounds like what nutjobs on the right used to say about Hillary Clinton.

And did Palin win her last election by invading her opponent’s private divorce records?

Did she win her first election by filing stupid procedural challenges to her opponents so she could run unopposed?

Please tell the the majority of US voters aren’t this stupid.

  • IBI

I think this lawsuit will end Obama as a candidate:

    http://www.americasright.com/2008/09/berg-v-obama-update-friday-september-5.html

It alleges that Obama was born in Kenya and because his father wasn’t American and his mother was only 18, he doesn’t qualify as a natural born citizen. Only his “online” birth certificate is available, verified by Factcheck (connected to Annenberg, so not exactly credible). A couple hospitals in Honolulu have been mentioned as birthplaces, but no records. Looks like his mother returned to Honolulu when he was about 4 days old and registered him then.

The MSM is lazy, scared, or both — don’t want public to realize that no one properly vetted Obama.

And where’s the record he ever registered for Selective Service?? Not registering doesn’t disqualify him for president, but he should have — unless he wasn’t a citizen.

    • fluffy bunny

I don’t think there is anything to it honestly. But Howard Dean will have to spend money on attorneys, so it’s all good :-) .

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama issued a pointed warning yesterday to Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, saying that as president he would be prepared to order U.S. troops into that country unilaterally if it failed to act on its own against Islamic extremists.
In his most comprehensive statement on terrorism, the senator from Illinois said that the Iraq war has left the United States less safe than it was before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and that if elected he would seek to withdraw U.S. troops and shift the country’s military focus to threats in Afghanistan and Pakistan
Obama’s warning to Musharraf drew sharp criticism from several of his rivals for the Democratic nomination, but not from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.).

I find the vitriol against Sarah Palin just amazing. The typical Obama supporter seems to be deeply offended that anyone should have the audacity to run against their candidate. Clearly, the coronation should begin. The nerve of McCain to actually pick a running mate to run against THE ONE. And the nerve of him to pick a woman. Apparently Hillary was way out of line for not dropping out of the race after Iowa and Sarah Palin is way out of line for not dropping out immediately too.

Camp Obama is in total freak out mode. I didn’t even know it, but apparently MEchelle Soetoro was in Santa Fe and stOmping :) for Barry yesterday and they showed an absolute horrible clip of her (several actually) talking to supporters. She looked so removed and so not wanting to ask “for womens” votes, which was the intent on her appearances.

Now with the news that Backtrack Barry is soliciting his strong women supporters, most notably Hillary to get out there for him, I think is hysterical.

Clearly showing he and the DNC don’t have the proper judgement or they should have seen their conduct smack back at them.

I read she was meeting with “military families” in Santa Fe. Most “military families” can’t afford Santa Fe….they must have bussed them up from Albuquerque. Why would they do that?

      A. The wicked witch would melt down at lower altitude.

B “military families” obviously don’t have busy schedules like Madame Obama, so they have to come see her, when she allows it.

      C. I misread the article and she met the mil folks down in the valley and drove up to Santa Fe to meet high dollar donors.

      • Linda

I agree, she was in Santa Fe supposedly talking to Mil Families—I agree, WHERE? Do they mean former military now retired? lol and then went to speak with the Women down in Albuqueruque. AND YES, you can be sure they were already supporters. She didn’t seem to know what to say. It was really bad. She said “Did you all see my husband at the convention?” Then you hear applause. Well, if they saw you hubby at the Convention and are cheering, they probably are already supporters.

The place where I’m currently working is overwhelmingly stocked with evangelical Christians. We generally get along because we have a tacit agreement to avoid certain subjects. Aside from their ludicrous (from my point of view) beliefs, they are good people trying to do the best they can.

I have to tell you, they are pretty much dancing in the aisles these days. Sarah Palin is their gal and they just can’t wait to get her in the White House. Every stupid Obamacrat attack on her is fuel to the fire of their support.

Obama digs himself in deeper every day he continues attacking her, a classic case of using inappropriate tactics. It looks like their scorched earth tactics were only meant to win the nomination, not the election.

Right, and how does Larry claim he knows of the tape’s existence? Because “people” he refused to name or even describe supposedly told him it does.

So again, how is Larry’s use of totally anonymous sources acceptable but someone else’s isn’t?

And PS larry first claimed this blockbuster, game-changing tape was coming out in May, then June, then who knows…

Again, the point is: When it comes to slamming others for poor journalistic technique, Larry doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

  • bss

What I find amazing is Larry and his disciples here are apparently wetting themselves over Sarah Palin because of ONE speech.

I thought people who fell in love with a candidate because of his/her speeches were “cult members.” But deciding that a person who you first heard of precisely one week ago, who has read one speech off a teleprompter in front of one cheering partisan crowd, who has never answered one question about her record or her policy goals since her candidacy was declared, is your new political savior — that’s rational?

I WOULD vote for McCain/Palin, except for the fact that Palin hunts Moose. (This is the reason I didn’t vote for her for governor in my home state of Alaska.) I am a STRICT animal rights activist and just cannot get myself to vote for someone who knowingly slaughters innocent animals for sport.

Guess I’ll have to go for the next best thing: Ron Paul.

    • http://nobho.blogspot.com/ Johnny at Work

I am a PETA person. People for Eating Tasty Animals.

People in Alaska don’t hunt entirely for sport. They hunt for the food it puts on the table.

The big spenders who take a week junket to Alaska to kill a Caribou are the ones hunting for sport.

I don’t hunt, but I do fish. I eat my catch as long as it is legal size. I never understood catch and release. Catching a fish with a hoock and line is very trumatic for the fish, and some do not survive the release.

I don’t get hunting or fishing merely for sport. But I do get it for eating the tasty animal.

I think there will be a big surprise for Obama in November. The word out here in middle America is no one is voting for him.

People who were bonkers over him are changing their minds. It is not just McCain/Palin – it is all about Obama – they don’t trust him. They don’t know who he is. They think he is creepy.

I was in Indiana this week, and that is the whispers – no one likes to openly talk about it, but I think this guy is history. His only hope is ACORN and their voter registration efforts.

The more the far left media do the dirty reporting the more America is creeping out. I believe it is called a backlash.

“It would appear that Barack Obama’s law school education was paid, partly or fully, by conservative Muslims. If that is not a very strange matter, I don’t know what is. It’s weird. I am in a state of shock. This new link may reveal that Obama surreptitiously played the ‘Muslim card’ while denying to be a Muslim himself. Percy Sutton may have dropped the bomb on Obama’s campaign without realizing it.

      canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/4821

“I think it is axiomatic that legal/financial advisers to Saudi Arabian princes do not routinely finance law school educations for nonbelievers. Therefore, we finally have a smoking gun, a concrete link, a very serious and substantial piece of strong circumstantial evidence, that Obama was holding himself out to be a Muslim as late as his mid-twenties. This new piece of evidence also connects with another part of the Muslim story we are also investigating.

“Now I want to make it clear that there is nothing wrong with asking people to give you money. There is also nothing wrong in taking money form Muslims, unless you tell them one thing and tell the American people another. Then there is an appearance of duplicity. But if Tony Soprano financed your law school education, most people would raise their eyebrows. Whom you ask for money, and who gives, is critical when you are a candidate for president of the United States.

“This latest disclosure may be the ‘smoking gun’ that discredits Obama and destroys his candidacy. And I think I know where it came from. I honestly do not see Obama surviving financial links to a close adviser of a member of the Saudi Arabia monarchy, not when Saudis were the instigators of 9/11. Even a slight link to Saudi money would disqualify anyone from the presidency in the mind of almost every American.

“The story is not complete and, once again, we arrive at Barack Obama’s door demanding full disclosure of the secret story behind who paid for his law school education.

“I call on Senator Obama to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about his links to persons who are directly or indirectly linked to Saudi oil billionaires, and an accounting of the amount of money they have given him over the years.

“Moreover, given that an Iraqi billionaire helped financed the purchase of his Chicago mansion, by lending money to Tony Rezko to buy the adjacent vacant lot, Obama now has a pattern of collecting money directly or indirectly through the Middle East.

Groan. My opinion is that somebody Mr. Johnson thought he could trust fed him some disinformation about a video tape of Michelle Obama screeching the same crap as Jeremiah Wright. I believe that Michelle agrees with Wright, don’t get me wrong, but I also believe that she’s bright enough to not get caught on videotape saying it.

Again, my opinion only…but I think it was a trick to try to discredit a strong Hillary supporter.

    • Deep Truths

There is a rumor that Rudi Guilliani opposition research department has a tape where by Michelle O’bama says “kill whitey”. This is reference to Michelle dissing Bill Clinton for not sending to troops to Rwanda. Then the conversation turned to blacks killing blacks. Then that’s when Michelle says she doesn’t understand that comments. Blacks should ‘kill whitey’.

At least that the version that I’ve surmised by reading various articles.

It’s not about “disagreement” – it’s about a high-powered national media figure attempting to trash a teenaged girl in public to forward a political agenda. This is not an “issue” about which reasonable folks (not that Sullivan is reasonable, mind you) can “disagree”. It’s just about Sullivan’s reprehensible behavior, plain and simple, and I don’t blame Larry one little bit. Sullivan’s article isn’t “journalism” in any conceivable sense of the word. It’s unsubstantiated (and, as it turns out) completely untrue abuse from a third-rate hack who wouldn’t know a fact if it bit him on the ass and drew blood.

Are Obama’s kids now fair game, since they’ve been on TV, too? Biden’s? Does this only include immediate family members, or are nieces and nephews open to abuse from the ivory tower punditocracy, as well?

      Obambi – “Of course I won’t”
Bill O – “Are you willing to use military force to prevent that?”
Obambi – “As I have always said, every option will be on the table”.

Hey Bill O, why did you not press Obambi to square that with his statement that “Iran is a tiny threat”.

And Bill O, how is Obambi going to have every option on the table when his platform includes dismantling defense systems, and cutting all new spending for any new defense systems?

Bill O is just Larry King with a temper.

Angry readers dump Us Magazine over Palin
Plus: Britney’s mom defends self in book; ‘Thunder’ is going down

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Three celebrity weeklies — OK!, People and Us Weekly — featured Sarah Palin on their cover, but one of those magazines is reportedly losing subscribers because of it.

Us Weekly, which unlike People and OK!, chose a rather caustic cover line (“Babies, Lies and Scandal”) is said to have lost thousands of subscribers in just the first 24 hours following the printing of the issue.

THIS should have happened for Hillary

I sent in an article I wrote yesterday that does a good job debunking several of the Kilkenny claims. Has anyone at NoQuarter looked at my submission?

Give us a link here, I’d like to read it.

I find it amazing that all these people who knew Sarah Palin when she was mayor then governor that as of September 3, 2008:

“Her job approval rating is astoundingly high with an 86% overall approval rating and 63% strongly approving of her job performance. Independents approve by a margin of 86% – 10% and there is absolutely no gender gap. 97% of Republicans approve of the job she is doing as do 75% of Democrats. She receives high job approval ratings across all regions of Alaska.

The Obama strategy of targeting and attempting to win Alaska is a fantasy. The McCain-Palin ticket holds a commanding ballot advantage over Obama-Biden, winning 57% – 33%”.

If she is as bad as these nut cases are saying, why is her approval rating so high?

LOOK WHO PAID FOR OBAMA’S COLLEGE EDUCATION

    http://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/obama_sutton_saudi/2008/09/03/127490.html?s=al&promo_code=692E-1

It seems that Obama did not pay for college by taking out student loans. That is just one more thing he lied about. Obama’s education was paid for by an Saudi Arabian man. This article explains how a Community Organizer goes to Harvard.
What is Obama going to give this man in return for his education.? When is the media going to finally vet this man.

Word at the beauty shop in my small town of 2300 that very few are voting for Barky. And according to LB at the shop this is a very much democratic area. I’m still new here, only lived in this area for 13 years. We small town, middle Americans don’t much care for being called names or looked down on.

First – -I want to thank Larry for calling out the pig “journalist” who hides behind his keyboard.

The ONLY WAY sexism will stop is when more GOOD MEN step forward and tell other men – this is not acceptable.

When a woman calls out a sexist male he can laugh it off. “He’s whining.”

But when MEN tell others of their gender to back off… in a consistent manner, from a position of strength … it has impact.

It’ sthe law of the jungle — the alpha males have to step forward and show the betas what manhood is all about.

And true manhood is not about degrading mothers, sisters, and daughters.

Lest we forget about Obama’s “Kilkenny moment.”

    http://wweek.com/editorial/3418/10516/

I know this is old-hat to many of you here, but it was written by a journalist / neighborhood guy in Chicago who positively exists and was also on a first-name basis with “The One.” It should be posted on every blog that mentions the Killkenny email.

Since last spring there are millions of people blogging who weren’t doing so until recently. Let’s make sure everyone reads this great insight into Barry’s climb to power!

Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083, in Federal Court

What is going on here! Is it true that Obama was born in Kenya Africa. Is it true that there are no records of his mother giving birth to him at any hospital in Hawaii.

Is it true that his Grandmother, and half-sister have said he was in fact born in Kenya.

Is it true that Republicans have records to prove Obama was born in Kenya.

And is it true that he was registered as a citizen of Indonesia as a Muslim.

Is there any truth to any of this. Where is the major media on this story. Have they investigated this. Has any of the above been proved untrue.

If any of the above is true this is very serious.

    What’s up!
