Greta’s special on Sarah Palin

NEWS FLASH: Tonight and Sunday night, Fox News is airing a one-hour special, “Governor Sarah Palin: An American Woman,” hosted by Greta Van Susteran, at 8:00 p.m. ET both nights.

…………………………………………………

Here’s a preview video:

Should we put up an open thread for this show? Let me know.

  • sjc-tx

This woman continues to grow on me… She is VERY AUTHENTIC. VERY REAL. Like her policies or not…, I find her a true CHANGE for American politics.

  • http://dianej.wordpress.com DianeJ

Thank you for the update on Gov. Palin……..I think she is wonderful and I hope she will be our next VP. Clintons4Mccain.

  • destardi

I just got a chain email with pics of Sarah Palin and his daughter saying “these were up myspace before her VP announcement, and they’ve been taken down since”.

One is that picture of Sarah in a bikini with the gun; photoshopped.

I’m most definitely not a republican, but that is TACKY, DISGUSTING, IGNORANT, and show that 50% of dems are just as to use republican dirty tricks.

I responded back with facts, and *ahem…a good spanking of the sender.

  • http://deleted Caya

    Me too!

  • Hope Floats

She’s got a lot of personality, and I think it’s great that she’s talking about balancing her career and her family. Obama must be hating this. HA HA.

  • http://www.hillaryloyalistnowformccain.com valsthewoman

As an owner of a anti obama website I receive dozens of hateful emails. I say thank you I made a difference. I am apart of something bigger than myself. I am voting for John McCain!
Please take a moment and enjoy:

Don’t worry the smears will backfire on them soon enough. Women across the world won’t put up with the attempt to destroy a wonderful women.

    Rush Limbaugh yesterday:

RUSH: Sarah Palin, by the way, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is continuing to do to Senator Obama what the Reverend Jackson suggested a few months ago.

PALIN: Just last night Senator Obama finally broke and brought himself to admit what all the rest of us have known for quite some time, and that’s: thanks to the skill and valor of our troops, the surge in Iraq has succeeded. Senator Obama said that the surge, quote, “succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. I think,” said Senator Obama, “that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated.” I guess when you turn out to be profoundly wrong on a vital national security issue, maybe it’s comforting to pretend that everyone else was wrong, too.

RUSH: This woman is dynamite! I mean, this woman is just hammering this poor little man-child! This woman is smart. What an analogy! It succeeded beyond anybody’s wildest dreams? See, this is where Obama’s dead wrong. If it succeeded beyond anybody’s wildest dreams, why plan it? It succeeded as planned, Obama! It succeeded as planned. It was beyond YOUR wildest dreams. I’ll tell you something else. He still said, after all this, that he would have opposed it. So he’s still gathering. He’s still gathering the little nuts and those acorns that make up the loony left of his base.

I just want to say how much I appreciate this blog. There are very few places you can go online where republicans, independents and democrats are allowed to post their opinions on the same site. Especially when those opinions differ from the owner. I do hope we all continue to contribute to ensure this blog remians available.

    Thanks, Admin

  • Astra14

Gov. Palin is very down to earth and authentic person, even if I don’t agree with a number of her beliefs. I do believe she’ll smash that glass ceiling which Hillary was supposed to do this year. (I’m still crying over that! And I still can’t believe I’m voting Republican this year, I’ve NEVER voted Republican in my life!!!!)

What I’m really interested in seeing is how Hillary handles the Obama problem when she’s in FL. There was an article saying that she didn’t know how much help she would be able to give him while she was campaigning for other Democrats.

    MCCAIN/PALIN 08
    HILLARY 2012
    OBAMA – NEVER EVER EVER!!!!

  • NOBAMA

    Dear Sarah Palin,

    Wash my Dishes!

    Sincerely,
    Barrack Obama

Thanks to everyone on this site for your great and inspiring comments.

    Letter to Obama Supporters everywhere:

Obama talks about hope and change and what he will do in the future, based on a record of zero accomplishments.

The strength of McCain and Palin is that they want to reform Washington for America, based on a strong track record of successful accomplishments.

Please tell me, right here, what Obama has done in the past to make a positive difference for the lives of people he has represented in Illinois.

Here’s an example of what Obama left behind in the slums of Chicago:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP-YoB5mnZs

Please tell me, right here, what his qualifications are for the position of POTUS.

Please tell me, right here, what Obama has done to confront the well-known corruption in the the Daley Machine/Chicago Politics.

Please tell me what reform Obama has brought about in the past.

Words, just words — that’s all Obama has to show for his hope and change mantra.

Obama CHANGES his mind on issues constantly, and HOPES you don’t notice. (Latest switch – the Surge “successful beyond our wildest dreams/imagination – but still would be against it.”

Obama wants to use Washington and the power of the presidency to change America into a Socialist State.

McCain/Palin want to change Washington to keep America free, great and strong!!

  • AnnS

Governor Palin and her family completed bonded with the American public on the evening of her speech. Palin took out Obama, but Trig and Piper took out Oprah!

  • JoseyJ

she can’t – she’s too busy cleaning his clock.

Thank you for uniting Americans against you. You’re too much. No, really–you are! :-)

    PaulFVillarreal :-)

I’m having an “r” malfunction. Sorry about that!

Washington lobbyists FUNDED Obama’s career until he entered the presidential race.
Then he proclaimed he “wasn’t taking their donations” – with implication he never had.
    Obama is very deceptive.

  • JoseyJ

Do you think Oprah will really refuse to allow Palin on her show?
iirc – many Repub women are Oprah fans. (or were)

  • Bel

Go Palin… We got our republican star …. no more Clinton and Obama.

It will become 0% chance that neither Obama nor Clinton become president

  • http://nooprah.com Let Sarah Speak

Is there any reason why you guys aren’t covering Oprah’s disturbing rejection of Sarah Palin? How typical of the Obama clan to attempt to silence the voice of a strong, ground-breaking woman who dares to not buy into their disgusting hype machine.

  • Uña de Gato

Even Rush Limbaugh knows you should never count out a Clinton.

  • http://www.sugarnspice.typepad.com SUGAR

Boy, Sarah Palin looks like she would chew Barack Obama and Joe Biden up and spit them out!!! lmao I think the nickname “Barracuda” is dead on.

  • RepublicanChick

    Dear Bel:

This is a pro-Hillary site as in Hillary Clinton. Just thought I’d let you know. Obviously, you don’t have to love Hillary. However, please be respectful regarding the purpose of the site.

Her supporters are geared towards the 2012 election and watching Obama falter.

And you can add–no more Bush.

  • ohio

I’m not sure where I read this but I had read that McCain had voted against his own pay raise back in 1992. He still keeps the same pay from back then. Seems it passed but he takes the difference and donates it to charity. So far it has totaled something like $400,000. That is something that would be nice if all of them could do that. I know he has a wealthy family, but so do many of the dems have very wealthy families like the Kerry’s, the Kennedy’s and so on.

  • Buzz Latte

How can anyone ever think that Oprah is credible on politics. She supported the black candidate. She never hesitated or questioned or vetted Obama. She supports the black agenda by continuing to shore up his empty suit azz.

Oprah, do what you do best. Slyly demean the middle class with your love of 3000.00 spa treatments, 600.00 shoes, and catered meals at home. She’s as narcissistic as Obama and Me-cHELLe.

Oprah is now the Martha Stewart of silliness. No one cares that Oprah likes this or that Oprah flew here or there in her private jet.

Give Oprah credit for her school – rife with scandal at times and then let her fade into irrelevancy as far as politics is concerned.

    Sh

  • RepublicanChick

NQ covered that yesterday. Where were you? :-)

Actually, it is covered in another thread. However, I don’t believe it’s necessary to start an entire thread pointing out that Oprah is an Obama supporter. We all know that!

  • JoseyJ

  • Bel

Yes McCain 4 years and 8 years for Palin. Done man ! We want more women to cross over to see a woman president. I don’t care about the democratic party. I like Bush.

  • Eden

The thing about this whole story is I doubt very much that asking Oprah to interview Sarah has ever been a Repub dream.

  • http://nooprah.com Let Sarah Speak

Oops, sorry, I must have completely missed it. Which thread?

  • RepublicanChick

Oprah has the right to do whatever she wants, but we have the right not to participate.

    Ain’t America great? :-)

  • Uña de Gato

Frankly, I would rather have Palin go on 60 Minutes. Oprah has lost a lot of credibility already, and unless Oprah invites Biden on her show between now and election day, she is under no obligation to invite Palin. It is her show and she can do whatever she wants with it and she can go campaign for Obama all she wants, no one is stopping her. Oprah is for Oprah above all else, so she’ll do what she thinks is going to get her ratings. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is the one who is raising all the fuss about not inviting Palin just so that her name gets more coverage. Look a Sally Quinn going back to O’Reilly’s show just to get more abuse. It’s the most publicity she’s had in a while, even if she did come off like a flake and a fool.

  • RepublicanChick

It wasn’t a thread of it’s own, but commented upon in a thread unrelated. Let me go look.

  • Nopers

As a continuation of another thread, I do not personally feel that Hillary or her supporters owe Sarah Palin anything other than their protest vote if that’s how they see fit. I am staying home this year as I cannot pull the lever for EITHER party that has thrashed Hillary so mercilessly. But everyone’s strategy is different and I guess I respect that. I just think cries that those of us who don’t vote for McCain/Palin are by default electing Obama are alarmist. This country WILL NOT vote for the senator ranked the MOST LIBERAL in 2007. No freakin’ way. And don’t bring up his FISA vote as proof that he’s not a died in the wool radical liberal. He is and America is not going to fall for it. Also, I was thinking this morning, if Hillary runs around defending Palin, you better bet the republicans will run those soundbites day and night in 2012 when it’s Clinton vs. Palin for the 1st woman president. NO WAY do I want Hillary to be exploited in that way. The best thing for her now is to concentrate on her senate run and to stay as far away from both parties as she can.

  • bert

After the initial up roar over not scheduling her for the show she has issued a statement saying she would love to have her on the show AFTER the election.

Golly gee, that is so partisian of you!!!!!!!!

  • Bel

You know what . I heard top inner Hillary supporter are not happy with Palin. That is true . I know that they might not support Obama but they don’t want to Clinton out of the game. B/s if Palin wins this election, it will be highly likely Palin will be the president not Clinton . They know clearly this !

Oh, and I heard about this doozy on talk radio yesterday. Apparently, Biden’s story about a drunk driver causing the death of his wife and daughter is false. The family of the driver, who is dead now, is calling for him to stop making the claim:

This is absolutely amazing to me, PUMAs offering blind support to an anti-choice (even in the case of rape/incest/severe deformity) & anti-enviornmental female canidate without even attempting to negoiate/influence the platform. The race is tight, 50/50. Use your bargaining power now, because after the election no one will care for another 4 yrs. Get something for your support, FISA, health care, credit & bankruptcy laws, just get something/ anything, besides empty vengence for Hillary.

Ok…new low from the left. Palin had an affair with Todd’s business associate by National Enquirer? Can this get any uglier? The man whose divorce is being meddled in has a kid and the media whores are scavenging at cheetah pace. Another fine example of commentary and not journalism.
I believe Greta will be fair. I have never seen her be anything but. I am happy that she will be going on her show.

  • JoseyJ

    Wow! that’s worse!
All those Repub women who’ve been her fans for years! And she just says FU!??

  • Dr. Kate

RC–that was really very, very nice, thank you. And tributes back to you as well!

I have thorougly enjoyed your posts, dialoguing with you, and learning from you. One post I will always remember…your journey through this election season as a republican disillusioned with her party–I walked a little bit in your shoes.

Interesting that in the midst of this so many have come to understand we are Americans first and the choice for me is very clear with that simple criterion: McCain/Palin.

I agree, having a place like NQ is truly like no other, and much gratitude to Larry, Susan, and posters here…

  • tek

The Dems messed up royally. Guess they thought the Republicans would be just as sexist as they are!

So sad, Greta really wanted Hillary.

Hillary Clinton is still the most popular woman in the country, and Bill is the most popular man in the world. I like Sarah Palin and I applaud McCain for choosing her, but she’s not at Hillary’s wattage.

  • tampagurl

Bel, you are looking for trouble on this site. Please be respectful, we have a common goal to defeat Obama we like Palin but Hillary is still our #1 girl.

Oprah refused to have Hillary on her show, too. She’s just all about Obama, even though she’s made billions claiming to be about empowering women.

RC: thank you; I enjoy your comments and perpective on the issues a lot; in addition to your wonderful sense of humor. You have no idea how much I appreciate you making me laugh sometimes ;-)

Maybe harpO has never before had the chance to interview a VPOTUS?

  • http://www.sugarnspice.typepad.com SUGAR

Yes it is. It probably should be a front page story here at No Quarter. Maybe I’ll send it on over to Susan so that she can take a look at it. This is just terrible, but the only place I heard about it was on talk radio yesterday.

  • Dr. Kate

    yawn.

if you knew what we were talking about here you would not make such a stupid, uninformed comment. Voting here is not about vengence, and it is not empty.

We are talking about America first here–warts and all–not blind loyalty to a party that has betrayed its democratic base. Do you love your country or your party?

What are the criteria for choosing CIC? That he’s “cool”, or black, or has an ivy league education (of which he refuses to provide detail)?

Wake up. In the meantime stay away from here as you truly know nothing and are making a fool out of yourself already.

  • katmandu

That “affair” has been debunked thoroughly. Politico had an article. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13199.html

Also, Obama is going around saying Palin is not really a budget cutter. According to Jake Tapper: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/the-pork-wars.html

When it comes to pork, Obama, it should be noted, is hardly kosher.

Since joining the Senate in January 2005 he has requested 330 projects totaling $931.3 million, according to his Senate website where he discloses all his requests.

John McCain does not request earmarks.

  • Dr. Kate

Yes, please put up an open thread! That would be great to dialogue with people here on the show.

  • Fred

Gallup Daily: Obama’s Edge Shrinks to 2 Points

Barack Obama’s advantage over John McCain has been shrinking since the start of the Republican National Convention, and is now down to just two percentage points — 47% to 45% — too close to call…

Obama had led McCain by as much as eight percentage points in recent days, both during and immediately after the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The first Gallup Poll Daily tracking report based on interviewing conducted entirely after McCain’s speech (from Friday through Sunday) will be published on Monday.

Today’s poll doesn’t reflect the full effects of McCain’s speech yet.

TL has also become toxic: you are not allowed to comment on Jeralyn’s posts –which are about Plain 24/7– unless you support the Dem. ticket.

Yestreday she posted sth. about some pastor ( of Jews for Jesus or sth like it) in a church where Palin once was and when I commented : “If I were Obama I wouldn’t go there given Obama’s pastors were so nice about the jews” and she erased it. Gone. Censured.

She was granted access to the DNC Convention and she reported on nothing at all of interest as a blogger: her posts where pictures of Arianna Huffington (of all people) and of a Bar&Grill she

I would personally love to see an OPEN THREAD. I wasn’t aware of this showing either so thanks for letting us know about it.

Also, I was linked to the HuffPo last night and in the course happened to read a post by Jamie Lee Curtis (surprise) CRUCIFYING Sarah Palin. They REALLY are coming out with all the “ammunition” aren’t they? Gloria Steinham, Annette Benning, Jamie Lee Curtis… Well, we all know why. They’re SCARED.

  • Deep Truths

    WHERE IS THE PRESS??

This should be the mantra of the Republican ticket regarding the MSM vetting of Obama?

When Obama says Ayers was a neighbor, then failing to mention mentor of 20 years, i.e. Annenberg project: WHERE IS THE PRESS??

When a convicted felon helps secure homes as well as campaign contributions: WHERE IS THE PRESS??

When MSM reporters invade Juneau searching for dirt and scandal, but overlook caucus intimidation and ALL of background inquiries on Obama in Chicago: WHERE IS THE PRESS??

I had always wondered whether or not the MSM was backing Obama in order to turn around and back McCain – now I know. The MSM is fully backing Obama without skipping a beat.

Republicans, listen to PUMAs, and undecided independents leary of Obama. You have struck gold with Sarah Palin. Keep to your promise of REFORM and the next two months will be gravy.

Take on Obama who is backed by foreigners intent on fully taking over America. They have already taken half or more of the Congress through bribes and campaign donations. Those bribes extend to the corporate sell-outs known as the MSM.

The majority of Americans are behind you. But you still need to keep up the pressure and expose the Obama machine for what it is. By

You will get no respect here, bot, for either your purposeful ignorance of what this site is about or for your deliberate mischaracterization of what kind of “support” we offer for what.

Calling our support for anything “blind” and our purpose “empty vengeance” is just the type of disingenuous, nasty smearing rhetoric that comes out of barky’s campaign 24/7.

Time for you to go take a good look at your messiah and see that he is the “empty” one and that you are his “blind” supporters – otherwise known as suckers.

I have read that about McCain as well. Good for him.

  • Nopers

The only thing I don’t understand about this line of thinking, Dr. Kate, is the implication that if we don’t vote for McCain, Obama will by default become president. If I remember correctly, many dems showed their disillunsionment with the Democratic party in 2000 by voting Nader, and guess what, it worked in that Al Gore did NOT get elected. The same in 1992 with Ross Perot siphoning off many hardcore Repub votes tired of wasteful spending and evangelical Reagan politics. Everyone is free to do as they wish, but I for one disagree with the notion that we should feel coerced into voting for the Republicans, who are more repugnant to me than atrocious thing the Dems can do. I will vote 3rd party this year or stay home, and I’m convinced that if more did that, Obama would not be elected and the DNC would get a loud and clear message that can’t be exploited and twisted into “bitter Hillary dead enders in 2012. Thoughts?

  • Ai1een

Does it reflect the effects after Palin’s speech? I read that this THURSDAY’s polls would be the first to reflect the true effects of last week’s RNC convention b/c they said they needed to poll three days running and weekends were considered off limits. (Not talking about Gallup necessarily – just polls in general – this discussion was about Rasmussein I believe).

Obama is a liar. He has been from the beginning.

  • Flipper Slippers

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE BIGGEST POLITICAL GENIUS CHESS MOVE IN OUR GENERATION.

Can’t but agree with you there. That’s where I think a lot of the excitement comes from – and the satisfaction in knowing Obama was destroyed by it.

  • Flipper Slippers

Sarah Palin, by the way, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is continuing to do to Senator Obama what the Reverend Jackson suggested a few months ago.

    Oh that’s funny!

That’s the one thing that unites, always has always will: a common enemy. And we sure got one this time! :)

Don’t you remember Obama’s $1,000,000 earmark to Michelle’s employer. They immediately gave her a $200,000 a year increase in salary. Doing the math, it will take 5 years for the Obama family to recoup the $1,000,000 for themselves. Earmark my ass. If that doesn’t look like a kick back, I don’t know what does.

  • OBushMA!

LOL. You think Palin will not be attacked left and right during the next four years as VP. Her beliefs may be slanted right, but her actions have always been closer to the center, which is why she has appeal. After the honeymoon period is over, the far right will not be too happy if she refused to toe its line, and of course, the left will be Palin hunting from day one. There are misogynists on both left and right. The left didn’t know when to stop, but the right is just holding its fire while she’s an asset to the Republican winning strategy.

  • Irish1139

What difference does it make that Palin is anti-choice. That is her choice. She believes the states should decide the abortion issue. She has never said how they should vote, just that the states should vote on the issue. Why can’t women just support each other, whether right or left. She has a right to be pro-life as you have a right to be pro-choice. Isn’t that what we all fought for?

Go complain to your own management that an empty candidate has no appeal in the GE. BO better gain some weight and substance fast. Baiting people with hot air rhetorics is like firing blanks at the opponents who are firing live ammo back.

The only solution for BO is or was to wrap himself in the Clinton’s name and legacy, recreate himself as the Clinton heir, treat Bill & Hillary like his surrogate Dad and Mom. That’s what he should have done after Hillary suspended her campaign, and that’s familial unity he should have showcased during the convention. Instead, he listened to fools and turned the Dem’s biggest assets into liabilities. That’s a bad omen for what he might do to this country if elected. That’s the strongest and most damning argument against electing him to be the next President.

I have always enjoyed your comments here, because just your name alone invokes the spirit of cooperation. There have been a lot of strange twists in this election, and I think most people here are surprised to see them getting along with Republicans so well. :) Thank you for the kind words.

  • Hope Floats

    HAHAHA!

  • Jillie

hillary is going to support the democratic ticket..that’s it. she is not going to trash palin, she is too classy for that. just look at her remarks after palin was announced. i don’t worry about her..ever.

  • Jillie

oprah could have opened schools in chicago…they need them there desperately. the community organizers did nothing to help that situation.

  • Hope Floats

Nobody really knows what will happen in four years. I would like to see Hillary run in 2012. McCain will have a hard time cleaning up after Bush. I think any President this time around will be one term. Unless McCain can accomplish a miracle, and that would be a good thing for our country. As a Republican, I’m surprised you’re not thinking along those lines. Why are you talking about the next 12 years like it’s a done deal?

  • Jillie

there was an attempt to negotiate the platform..about outlawing caucuses. they didn’t listen. they didn’t even allow the question to come up for debate.

well, now they will hear us in november.

  • Jillie

yes, not voting for bo if you are a democrat does hurt him…but voting for mccain/palin goes one better. it is a negative and a positive vote, and that’s what i am going to do.

  • Hope Floats

McCain’s healthcare is pretty good, actually. He also mentioned in his speech Thursday some great points about welfare reform. The Palin pick was for their base, but she is more liberal about gay rights than many Republicans and has not tried to push her personal beliefs on her constituents. Just having her on the ticket was more than Obama had the courage to do. We know that McCain is the top of the ticket and is reasonable. Hopefully, Sarah Palin will learn a lot from working with him over the next four years.

  • Flipper Slippers

Why is Obama a socialist? What do you know about socialists? What is wrong with socialism? Specifically if you don’t mind.

  • Hope Floats

Governors cannot vote on earmarks, so it is stupid of Obama to criticize Sarah Palin for accepting them after they’ve already been designated for her state. Is she supposed to send them back? LOL. Also, Obama’s requested earmarks total $1 million per day when you average the number of days he actually works in the Senate and the $93.1 million he has asked for.

  • Flipper Slippers

Oh Bel. Distractions distractions. Tsk tsk tsk.

  • WMCB

Obama also is taking lobbyist donations for his senate re-election account, which is already set up.

  • Flipper Slippers

I don’t believe it’s necessary to start an entire thread pointing out that Oprah is an Obama supporter.

She chose him on skin color too. First best (worst) AA comes along. Even if he’s not an authentic AA. Skin color alone.

Now some people looked to Hillary and Sarah because they were women. But they also did something else after that. This weird thing called THINKING.

The Obama bots don’t do that. The first time voters get totally sucked in regardless of race and the AAs vote purely on the (perceived) race ticket.

  • Objective analysis

    Me Three!

She reminds me of Lara Croft (via Angelina Jolie). She could be president in all honesty and being a Centrist Democrat, I would not mine that.

  • Flipper Slippers

I’m sorry – is this true? Haven’t we seen Hill on Oprah? Or was that Ellen? Actually I think it was Ellen. So it was true Oprah officially refused to have Hillary on? Gotta look this up.

I just want to say how much I appreciate this blog. There are very few places you can go online where republicans, independents and democrats are allowed to post their opinions on the same site. Especially when those opinions differ from the owner. I do hope we all continue to contribute

I AGREE. TAYLOR MARSH WAS THE ONLY SITE UNTIL IT WAS BODY-SNATCHED. NOW THIS IS MY HOME

  • BJ

thx for info.. i don’t watch fox.. for that fact i don’t watch any of them anymore… at all

    i’ll tivo her show

  • Flipper Slippers

    Found this.

She referenced the bedrock of Obama’s campaign, his opposition to the war authorization vote in 2002. “And long before it was popular,” Winfrey said, “he stood with clarity and conviction against this war in Iraq!”

So Oprah claimed her support of Obama is based on a speech he gave in front of an anti-war group two years before he got to Washington? If this is believable it’s downright stupid. Then again I think this is the same thing Robert DeNiro and others said. Please someone tell us people are not this stupid!

  • sjc-tx

    I REALLY ADMIRE this woman!!!

Gloria Steinham et al…-> eat your heart out! This is TRUE feminism!

  • pasmalltowngirl

Exactly, Oprah is basically a celebrity show, which is what Obama is. Obama needs all the flash and glamour to make himself appear to the public that he is a somebody. Sarah Palin is a real person, a genuine person, a true American. She doesn’t need Oprah or anyone else to make America love her. We already do !!!

  • PewL

imo It’s nice to hear about Palin instead of Obama..I love it to see so many Large crowds turning out to see this spectaular person.Go Sarah and Mccain

  • SJ

That is exactly it she is growing on you, I like her and the more I get to see her daily its really like a breath of fresh air into the political system.

She is so natural with what she is doing, I think America is slowly falling in love with Palin, she is going to be one of the greatest politicians of all time.

  • DanO

You’d think.. but NO they were lapping it up when Hillary was running. Don’t underestimate the stupidity of a group of people.

  • SJ

Get over it she may not be Hillary but at the moment this is what we have, thanks to Obama Hillary’s political chances are dead until she runs again.

I am not wasting time thinking of what should have been, Hillary made a lot of bad moves, she should of had Obama on the back foot from day one but she did not and is paying the price for that.

I will not take a chance voting for Obama because Hillary may not get a chance to be President, bs, Hillary should of thought of all that when she was thinking party not country.

My vote goes to Palin, I went all out for Hillary she messed up, the DNC messed up well I sure as hell not going to mess up with my vote, not this time I am going to give it my best to get McCain/Palin into the WH.

soooo funny jesse just WANTED TO
    SHE IS ACTUALY DOING IT.
    hahahahahaha

  • Paul3triple

the McCains donate ALOT to charity. I think McCain donates his entire pay from the senate to charity, not just the increase. He donates his share of book revenue to charity as well.
He is really an amazingly compassionate guy. We really need someone like him in the office. It has been a long time since we had a president who served the poeple and not his own self interests
It is funny to hear Obama say he is out of touch when mac and Cindy are humanitarians with a long record of helping those less fortunate.
Maybe Barrys brother in africa living on a dollar a month could ask the McCains to help him.

  • Hispana

I saw the article, but I am still in a quandry over why? They did not go after John Edwards like this. His behavior took bad to an all new definition. I surmise this has to be nothing more than sexism.
    Thanks for the links.

  • Hispana

    Snark: PRESENT

Again, the idiot and minihims should probably not be throwing small or big rocks. They seem to boomerang back quite magnified.

  • Prof.Charles Monaghan

Sarah..I am a Professor of Political Science at a very large University and have total over 760 students. These students have only seen yo on the National Political front for a short time but deify you. You are authentic, honest, fearless, a shining example of what Washington needs….I could go on for an hour. In contrast these students are very intelligent and admit they can see thru the rhetoric of obama….he is a pathological liar, a racist, a sexist, has a background which profiles the very worse of criminals in our society…he is antisemitic, associated with Nazis, Terrorists, people who hate America. He does not nor ever will illustrate the attributes of a President of Vice President as you most assuredly do. Today he made the biggest mistake he could have ever made. As you know John McCain and you are now well known for the phrase Country First…before any self interest. Well Sarah…Obama said and I quote…”I did not spend 19 months on those Planes and eating Hotel food to come in second”…if that is not a selfish self centered remark-what is. I thought Obama was suppose to be on a mission for the people…but I guess he feels sorry for all those poor hours he had to spend eating hotel food and riding on his Plane….I guess Obama feels “self interest first and Country—oh maybe second or third”. Go for it Sarah…the students love you. On a class poll…98%(Honestly) voted for you and 2% against. You should be proud of that…well done Governor Palin.

  • NoBAma

I am watching Greta’s show now. It is very pro-Palin of course. I like her a lot.
Greta’s husband was a big Hillary fundraiser who went for Mccain rather than support Obama.

  • WMCB

LMAO! You are out of date. The “Palin will hurt Hillary’s chances in 2012″ talking point was 4 days ago, bot.

If Obama wins, Hillary will NEVER have a shot. Ever. His cadre will control the party.

  • justsomeone

Votes don’t come cheap in this country. The canidates spend mucho vieing for your votes. You know it’s been said more people cast votes on American Idol than vote in presidential elections. BTW, I wasn’t suggesting PUMAs negotiate with Obama!!! I was suggesting you all negotiate with McCain, but why should Mac give you any quarter when you’re already in his pocket??? “County over party” my ass, apparently you Clintonheads love the Repug platform just the way it is!!! Don’t even try to get something like a Sec of Interior who wants to protect the enviornment rather than simply exploit it. DRILL, DRILL, DRILL. Yeah shake your pom poms for crappy bankruptcy laws & blatant usury. Sorry I suggested you try to leverage your power in any positive way for our country. Your right. I’m wrong. Just get vengance for Hillary & move on to any new avaiable goddess-figure you can latch onto.

  • http://msnGodhelpusall Lee M

I read somewhere that picture of Sarah Palin in a bikini was false.

  • http://msnGodhelpusall Lee M

Beth, Obama just used the people in his district in Chicago as a step up to something else. Not only did he not confront the dirty Daly machine, he became a part of it. Do you ever wonder why he chose Chicago to launch his political ambitions? It’s simple. He knew this was a place where his natural tendency to play dirty would work. He had no connections to Chicago, it was just that his research told him this was a sandbox he could play in and he jumped right in.

Once in, he stepped on everybody who helped him and trampled them into the ground to get what he wanted.

Take for example Alice Palmer who took him around and introduced him to everybody who could hel him, and he paid her back by stealing her seat.his is one dangerous man and we’d better beware.

  • Belinda

My god I cannot believe all the above.

Did you believe that people in a small town would say anything bad about Palin? They have to live there and see her and her family. So they pander.

What is so great about her? All we know that she is a woman and has a heap of kids, so have many people.
To date she has not given a single interview off the cuff, all she ever did was read two speeches off a piece of paper.

Gee, seems to me these are a lot of people that could join the Jerry Springer show.

If McCain/Palin gets voted into office, you Americans deserve all you are going to get. I am not a citizen but my aged mother is and she will not be voting McCain/Palin, see…. she has a brain
