I get to spend the summer on the fainting couch with my hartshorn and hankie in my hand. At least that's what I am claiming to be doing. In Regency England, they knew how to be under the weather and still enjoy life. I am doing the same. Fortunately, I have lovely scenery, complete with grazing Thoroughbreds to enjoy outside the windows. That makes it a lot easier. This one was second of six. I noticed that Obama didn't announce he was running, denied he was going to in fact, until the news broke that the Clintons were worth $100 million, earned from speaking fees, books and investments. This after leaving the WH $3 million in debt for legal fees. Shortly after that, he announced he was running for president. He thinks he will get that sort of pay-off after he gets out of the WH.
