He's been dead for many years, but in one of his live performances he introduced his backup group--The Weather Girls. And I loved his commentary about them. He said they didn't need "them dresses"; they didn't need "them jewries"; they didn't need that hair--because--"these woman can sing, ya'll!" (I don't think Robert Byrd would be considered for one second, although technically he is in line too.) If the administration goes down in flames, taking its pet Congresscritters such as Pelosi with it, she will be legally able to step forward and take charge and get the mess cleaned up. If she resigns, she has to run again and that takes time, time we may not have. My favorite daydream scenario is Obama impeached/resigns, Biden names Hillary as VP and resigns himself. Hillary names Biden as VP, and he does photo-ops and cheerleading speeches and she goes to work as President and gets us out of this mess.
