Amy, I have been on vacation and realize this piece is probably such history by now that even YOU may not see it. I was quite interested in this! I am also quite suspicious of Clyburn desperately trying to disassociate himself from this Green guy. Given Clyburn’s history with 0bama fraud, no one should be surprised if Clyburn isn’t in on this. While I do not want to wrongly accuse someone, Clyburn brought up “the plant” idea as if he knows this will be discovered sooner rather than later and he just wants to be outfront with it.

Just ask yourself this: Who in SC would want more than Rep Clyburn to defeat Senator Demint?? No one! There is no way that can be done without voter machine fraud which DOES exist. Bottom line – if I were one of the investigators, I would not let up on this until I knew for sure how much Rep James Clyburn pushed this candidate behind the scenes like he did 0bama.

The real dangerous border to cross in order to get into the US for ANY South Americans (Guatemalans, Salvadorians, etc…) is the Mexican Border!!!
What we haven’t heard of is how many women were raped and robbed..men beaten up and robbed, or how many people have disappeared for being illegal in Mexico. Los Federales are feared by the mexicans and those trying to cross into Mexico to get to the US.
As one Guatamalan said I preferred to be caught by the US border Patrol then the Federales because I know I will survive!
Now there a nasty tidbit the Mexicans will not even think of discussing out loud!

Come on, SusiePuma. Many Americans of Mexican descent — and Mexican nationals even — have fought and died for this country (e.g my cousin [a US citizen] was one of the first to die in Viet Nam.) Yes, we do have a serious border problem especially now that we have dwindling resources, etc, but there are many Americans (myself included) who have family ties in Mexico. BTW, When 9/11 occurred, Mexico supported the US and grieved with us (Mexicans also died in 9/11).

An “undocumented worker” who can’t prove who he is and is here LEGALLY, is breaking the law.

BTW, if I show up at work and there’s a security rule of flashing ID for entry, I’m undocumented. If I’m a foreigner (and for any reason) breech a country’s immigration laws, I’m an ILLEGAL ALIEN. >:o

Hi Rev. Amy. This is so bizarre. I hope someone will be able to give an update? There are so many things no making any sense except it’s clear there is a con of some sort. My admiration for your writing is undimished, but the comments (some) are unnerving given the lack of compassion. Showing the photo of a dead 15yr followed by pathetic attempts at wit makes me wonder if group think has infected those who post here. Excuse the reference, but this is not the NQ I knew and loved. And are there any hystorians here with some knowledge of TX history who would be willing to point out Texas was actually part of Mexico until Manifest Destiny became the policy of the day. Santa Anna won his victory at the Alamo and paid dearly at San Jacinto in no less brutal fashion. TX history books tell the story of Francisco “Pancho” Villa, and while it’s true the US government put a price on his head, it was only after the US refused to live up to it’s agreement to support his revolution he began to rob banks in Texas. He wanted the same freedom for his county we want for ours and turned to find a knife in his back. Most of the undocument worker are here to escape poverty Americans can’t begin to undertand. The drug traffic is something apart and should not be loaded onto the backs of people who only want the bare necessities for the survival of their families. TY for the article.
