Truth Will Out Even With Nuts!

~~ Bumped Up ~~

That should be your big hint that this is about ACORN. Yep – you know the one. Our tax supported, partisan organization that participates in voting irregularities on a regular basis, which has now allegedly disbanded (but hasn’t really, the ones who are more than willing to bend tax law, “register” Donald Duck,” and flat out commit voter fraud. (Again, I cannot begin to list all of the articles I have written on ACORN. Links above are a start.))

And you most likely know that acknowledging those facts about ACORN has gotten me a whole lot of grief from people who absolutely refuse to believe the facts, not rumors, facts about ACORN.. Even when said facts are laid out one by one – with citations, mind you – right in front of their eyes. The refrain is always, “you hate poor people,” and “ACORN does great work for the poor!” Uh, no – I hate organizations that pretend to work on behalf of poor people, and for all people when they are working for one party but paid with everyone’s tax dollars. That kind of unethical, immoral, illegal behavior rubs me the wrong way, you know? That’s just how I roll.

Maybe this article will finally get these Pollyannas to open their eyes(though I am not holding my breath). It may also serve to make each and everyone of us even angrier that our tax paying dollars, our HARD earned dollars, have been handed out to this organization like freakin’ candy while they broke law after law. How do I know? Because they admitted as much in this article (h/t to Pat Racimora):

ACORN Employees Tell FBI Of Deliberate Election Fraud, According To New Documents

The radical activist group ACORN “works” for the Democratic Party and deliberately promotes election fraud, ACORN employees told FBI investigators, according to an FBI document dump Wednesday.

The documents obtained by Judicial Watch, a watchdog group, are FBI investigators’ reports related to the 2007 investigation and arrest of eight St. Louis, Mo., workers from ACORN’s Project Vote affiliate for violation of election laws. All eight employees involved in the scandal later pleaded guilty to voter registration fraud.

Project Vote is ACORN’s voter registration arm. Project Vote continues to operate despite the reported dissolution of the national structure of ACORN.

The handwritten reports by FBI agents show that ACORN employees reported numerous irregularities in the nonprofit group’s business practices.

One employee told the FBI that ACORN headquarters is “wkg [working] for the Democratic Party.”

Oopsy daisy! Evidently, this employee didn’t realize they weren’t supposed to say that out loud. Loose lips and all that. But you know there is more to this story:

According to one report, an ACORN employee said the purpose of “[f]raudulent cards” was “[t]o cause confusion on election day to keep polls open longer,” “[t]o allow people who can’t vote to vote,” and “[t]o allow to vote multiple times.”

Another report quotes an employee saying, “Project Vote will pay them whether cards fake or not – whatever they had to do to get the cards was attitude.” Project Vote pays based on the number of cards and “that’s why they were so reckless,” the report says.

A report quotes an employee saying, “I don’t like our system. I don’t think we should do voter registration.” The report also notes that employees were “[c]onstantly threatened” and that the staff were “instructed on what to say to FBI.”

Another report indicates an employee told the investigator, that ACORN “[t]old employees not to talk to the FBI.” The FBI is “‘trying to intimidate you.’”

“These documents show the need for a national criminal investigation by the Obama Justice Department into ACORN,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.

“Is Attorney General [Eric] Holder doing nothing because of Obama’s close connections to ACORN and Project Vote? The information in these new documents has national implications that cry out for further investigation,” Fitton said.

President Obama’s ties to ACORN go back to the 1980s.

“ACORN noticed him when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project,” according to Toni Foulkes, a former member of ACORN’s national board. From 1985 to 1988 Obama ran the Developing Communities Project from an office located in Chicago’s Holy Rosary Church.

Obama later worked for Project Vote, leading a very successful voter registration drive in Chicago in 1992 that helped elect then-Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, Illinois Democrat.

Just what do they mean by “successful voter registration drive”? Do they mean like the ones for which ACORN was under investigation in 14 different states? That kind of “successful”? Don’t get me wrong – after the way Obama conducted his 2008 campaign, I wouldn’t be surprised one tiny bit. And we can’t forget that Obama paid ACORN over $800,000 for “voter registration.” Birds of a feather and all that, you know?

And as I stated at the top, don’t believe the hype that ACORN has disbanded. It’s all a ruse (big surprise):

Meanwhile, Politico reports that ACORN isn’t going away – it’s merely changing form.

Ben Smith writes that radical housing activist John Atlas’s new highly sympathetic institutional biography of ACORN, “Seeds of Change,” acknowledges that ACORN’s current rebranding process is aimed at re-constituting ACORN in the not-too-distant future.

Writes Smith, who includes a direct quotation from the book:

But strong local ACORN chapters swiftly regrouped under new names, like the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment and New York Communities for Change. Those groups “will retain ACORN’s commitment to building national power and are beginning discussions” about relaunching a national organization some time after November …

The rebranding maneuver was first reported months ago.

Atlas elaborated on ACORN’s plan during a panel discussion Tuesday at the left-wing “America’s Future Now” conference in Washington, D.C.:

The good news is that a lot of people who were involved in ACORN, members and leaders as well as their allies, are organizing in over a dozen states to resurrect ACORN using its model, focusing on the same constituency, learning from ACORN’s strengths as well as its mistakes, so it is happening.

So far ACORN has rebranded in 13 states plus the District of Columbia.

ACORN Housing, which is the ACORN network’s primary vehicle for getting its hands on federal tax dollars, has renamed itself Affordable Housing Centers of America.

Oh, brother. See, they know there’s no way in hell we can keep up with all of the name changes they are employing. Tricky little devils, aren’t they? Just like their compatriots, SEIU.

But, hey – at least they finally admitted – to the FBI, no less – that they are a wing of the Democratic Party, and they are actively engaging in voter fraud. Any other administration might take a closer look, but when there’s a Fraud in the White House, I don’t reckon we should expect him to look into fraud by one of the organizations that helped get him where he is today, right?

Too bad we are no longer a “country of laws.” If we were, maybe ACORN would truly get its comeuppance, we’d get our damn money back, and even more, have a chance at fair elections again. But we know Obama would never stand for that – how else could he retake the White House without their “help”?

November cannot come soon enough. Maybe then we can get enough “Change!” to hold ACORN accountable. Until the, watch out for those “new” community groups. Chances are they didn’t fall far from the tree…

Thanks for the article.  Yah, this is the stuff that worries me about Obama.  As unpopular as he is he should not get a second term, but, like Bush, he’s got his ground organization ready and willing to corrupt the vote.  He can’t take the WH legally, that’s a given.

  • jwrjr

Obama makes Bush look honest and law-abiding.  I suppost that is an achievement of a sort – two years ago nobody would have believed that to be possible.

  • TeakWoodKite

Hey Rev, the link to the ACORN-FBI goes to a Fox story about a publishing company, Wilder Publishing, that puts warning labels on our Constitution like some X rated book. Is that for real? or is Fox yanking my Biden? Confused. (LOL)
onto to the rest of your post….

  • TeakWoodKite

“instructed on what to say to FBI”,  (oops.)

Ok so an FB I agent documents a pattern of behavior in which, conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges are admitted to and the USAG does what?

Is Mueller gonna threaten to resign again? Just askin. Interesting that the current AG, was a subordinate at one time… It must chap Mueller’s hide.

  • Kathleen Wynne

    Bravo Amy!!

Thank you for your perserverance in reporting the truth about ACORN, especially when it comes to their “deliberate election fraud”.

You know, when I was in Denver for the 2008 Democratic Convention, I met one of those ACORN people registering people on the streets of Denver.  When I asked him questions about who he was working for, what procedures he was using to guarantee the integrity of those he was “registering”, he walked away from me.

Election fraud is the core of all of the corruption found in the D.C., state and local representatives.  Without honest elections, we will not have honest representatives.  Period.

Thank you for keeping the truth front and center.  It’s lays the path to our taking back our country.

  • AbigailAdams

Maybe it would be a good idea for each of us to know the name(s) of all the organizations ACORN has morphed into in each state.  That way there’s at least one site in the net that compiles that info.  I volunteer to track it down for Washington state.  I have a friend who used to work for ACORN housing and was heartsick when she learned of all the corruption (she was suspicious of it early in ’08) and when she tried to uncover some of it internally through legitimate means she was threatened.  She’s an honest, mature person and I haven’t talked with her for at least a year so I don’t know what she’s doing now, but I feel confident she would know.

I made up my mind to come and live in the UNITED STATES when I was a very,
very young child,  when members of the Greatest Generation  saved my family and my home from being blown up by exactly TWO hours.

My family was made up of two small children, two young women, one old woman
and a paralized old man.  The young men of the family were with the Resistance.

Well, it took me until 1970, in a roundabout way, but I have been here ever
since.  And I have loved it, even now.  Because I am seeing – AGAIN – ‘the spirit
of America’ rise to the occasion.  And I am part of it….

I often voice here my great worries about my great-grandaughters’ future.
But I really need not to.  Even though we are facing a REAL enemy from within.
Maybe I will not see it, but America WILL endure and my descendants and
yours will be alright – even stronger than they would have been.

I love this country as much as the one where I was born and raised.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MAY YOU ALL BE GIVEN THE DIVINE HELP THAT
WILL BE NEEDED TO SURMOUNT YOUR TRAVAILS, PRESENT AND FUTURE.

  • BINKY

I received this today from Judicial Watch:

“ACORN HQ is wkg (working) for the Democratic Party”
This was just one of many shocking statements made to federal investigators by witnesses, including campaign workers for Project Vote, an ACORN affiliate, according to documents we obtained recently from the FBI.

Somebody explain to me what it matters.  The FBI does nothing about these investigations anyhow.

  • Ferd Berfle

I am also keeping an eye out for these miscreants here in my local area in east Tennessee. We take care of our fellow citizens here and don’t need interloping carpet baggers from from up north trying to organize us. We’d organize those thugs directly to the state line.

It matters  Binky because knowledge is power. Nothing changes overnight. Here are  some examples:

During the Civil Rights movement there were many naysayers. There were black people who said that we should just wait. That MLK Jr. and his supporters were “too radical”.

The same was said about the anti-slavery movement and womens’ suffrage.

The same was said about the American Revolution.

If the FBI doesn’t do their job then it’s up to us. This government belongs to We The People. It doesn’t belong to the FBI or any other government agency.

Ben Franklin, a staunch abolishionist, said it best: We have a Republic if we can keep it.

Here is the front page of the Judicial Watch site.  http://www.judicialwatch.org/ Notice something all of these stories have in common?  Yep; they are all about the corrupt D’s.  Well, that is hardly surprising.  Because guess who JW are?  Well, they bill themselves as an “ethical and legal watchdog” over our government.  They also say they rely on contributions to carry out their work.  Oh, yeah?  Well, I could not locate on their web site the names of the founders, which I had seen on earlier iterations of their web site.  But I did find their names AND their major funders, here.  http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Judicial_Watch

The memo tells ACORN members the group is considering a name change and solicits comments.

    Oil Hitting Ala. Beaches
    Worst Since Spill

    Associated Press,

    Original Article

    6/12/2010

Orange Beach, Ala. – Alabama’s beaches took their worst hit yet from an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday as globs of crude and gooey tar – some the size of pancakes – lined the white sands and crews worked to try to keep a giant oil sheen just a few miles away from reaching the shore. Scientists have estimated that anywhere between about 40 million gallons to 109 million gallons of oil have gushed into the Gulf since a drilling rig exploded April 20 (Snip) The beaches in Florida’s Panhandle were largely free of tar early

  • BINKY

I supposed I’m just discouraged.  NoQuarter exposed the Acorn crimes during the Democrat primaries in 2007-08 and during the campaign.  Then the young investigative reporters (the names escape my weary mind) exposed Acorn’s corruption.  The people complained, funding was stopped, the Justice Department overturned that.  No federal charges have been brought to date that I know of and I have no confidence that the FBI will do anything now.  I expect that ACORN will be alive and kicking during the November 2010 election and that the election will be just as corrupt as was the 2008 election.  I do still hope, however, that the 2010 election will make a difference in Congress, but without exposure of the corruption by the MSM tv channels, ACORN is likely to continue its agenda with the blessing of taxpayer funding.

This is why, whether you agree or not with the Repub’s stancd on issues, we need to oust as many Dems as possible (except maybe those who are still voting with their moderate constituents) from the congress.  It’s a tactical move to be sure, but independents aren’t going to be able to stop obama’s madness on these rails to hell until we can get some people in there who aren’t afraid of calling a special prosecutor and grand juries to look into all this overwhelming evidence of fraud and corruption.  Then we don’t stop at that.  We keep the pressure on ALL the elected/selected to live and govern by the law of the land.  It’s no good to say that’s what we want and just stand around wringing our hands.

OBAMA IS GOING TO IMPART THE ‘KISS OF DEATH’ TO A LOT OF POOR JERKS
THIS FALL, WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT…

    Adviser says Obama will
    be campaigning this fall

    Associated Press,
    by Staff

    Original Article

    6/13/2010

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama’s chief political adviser says the president will be out on the campaign trail for Democratic candidates in the fall elections. Adviser David Axelrod says he believes Obama is the party’s greatest political asset. But Axelrod also says he doesn’t know if everyone shares that view. He says Obama is being asked to do quite a few things in connection with this year’s races. Axelrod says the focus will be on first-time voters who proved critical to Obama’s election in 2008.

  • Ferd Berfle

I concur, Abigail and Arabella. As a first step, the Democrats need to be shown the door and I don’t mean ushered but bounced like the drunken spenders they are. Then we can all get down to the business of fixing that which needs to be fixed.

  • arabella trefoil

Fucking hell. First time voters are, like, people who are voting for the first time. It’s like being a virgin. You can only be a virgin until you have fucked I mean, voted.

So a first time voter is somebody who has never voted before. Someone like Mickey Mouse, or Seymour Pee, or John Doe, or a name on a tombstone in the local cemetary that just happened to pop up on the voter list. In other words, it’s time to start registering people. See what I’m trying to say?

Axelrod, how can you be called a smart guy if you don’t understand that there is only one “first time” for anything?

Why can’t we get Detective Goren to work on profiling Obama? In my orgiastic fest of emotional turmoil, I’ve been eating ice cream and watching Law and Order CI DVD’s. “Ou sont les Gorens d’antan?” I ask myself in bad Catholic High School girl French.

Anyway, Detective Goren could find out how to make Obama totally crack under pressure. That would be awesome. And it would take only an hour for the entire process. (Less, if you cut out the commercials.)

  • Rabble Rouser Rev. Amy

Oh, boy.  Well, she should be fully indoctrinated by now, don’t you think?  Wow.

  • Rabble Rouser Rev. Amy

James O’Keefe is the young man of whom you are thinking.

The charges against ACORN have largely been made by states in which they have carried out their election tampering.

No doubt, the FBI needs to do its job.  It is shocking that they are dropping the ball on such a critical matter even IF Obama is in office.

The funding, as I understand it, is still suspended.  You may recall, after O’Keefe’s videos came out, there was a hue and cry, and Congress cut their funding.  ACORN sued to get it back, and a judge in NY (with ties to ACORN – surprise!) reinstated it.  But it went higher,a nd has been suspended again while investigations are carried out.

With them splitting up into smaller groups, though, vigilance will definitely be required…

  • Rabble Rouser Rev. Amy

    Oh, Katmoon, you’re killing me!

And Cindy, no – we cannot give up.  That is EXACTLY what they want us to do: get fed up, discouraged, and stop paying attention to all of their shenanigans.  We cannot lert them win!

Hang in there, sweetie – we’re in this together!

  • Rabble Rouser Rev. Amy

Huh – we just call that “Spring” down here!  :-D

    I love Detective Goran.

    I watched 3 Damages from season 2.

Oh my, the poor President played golf in the heat? Perhaps he should award himself the Presidential Medal of Freedom for conspicuous bravery in the face of humidity. (Deserves if as much as he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.)

But, Arabella, he loves the perks, dontcha know!

  • creeper

Ferd, don’t give up on Jackie.  There’s grey matter in her skull.  It’s just drowning in kool-aid right now.

  • creeper

    arabella trefoil:  “Fucking computer.”

    Hear, hear!

  • Ferd Berfle

Yeah, creeper, but she is the most sanctimonious, selectively indignant troll I’ve ever seen on any blog and my comments online go back 13 years (back to the original Yahoo message boards). Frankly, I’d just like her to go to ANY other web presence where the adoration of That One is encouraged. She’s earned a position of honor in any of those venues as one of the most malignant of supporters and should be enshrined on THEIR hall of fame. I’d just like to discuss issues with those who share a common concern without being bothered by bots who weren’t taught the concept of boundaries by their absent parents and who don’t give a shit about the end result of their ill-conceived ideas about how a society should work.

That being said, it is always good to discuss these issues with you, creeper.

FINALLY, this mess is beginning to stick to him.

-18 on Rasmussen today.  MOA there has been at -13 or -14 for days.

  • kenoshamarge

If it does stick to him it will be the first time in his whole teflon-coated life that anything did. Teflon? Hey isn’t that Toxic?

  • kenoshamarge
  • creeper

Teak, the Wilder story is for real, though.

  • creeper

I know, Ferd.  Everything you wrote is true.

Can’t tell you what it is about Jackie, but I think there’s a reasoning human being somewhere in there and I can’t put her in the same categories with our trolls.  Watching her deal with arguments here is like watching a two-year-old approach the ocean for the first time…dip a toe into the water and then run like hell back to the safety of the beach towel where Mom and Dad are.  But the water is too tempting to ignore and the child goes back again and again, getting wetter and wetter each time until she’s submerged.

Jackie’s that child and the water is reality.  Some day she’s going to dive in.  She’s too bright to ignore the water.

  • oowawa

Jackie is angry.  Most obots aren’t so angry.  Who knows where that anger will eventually lead . . .

  • BuzzLatte

If you scan the trends on Rasmussen Reports you’ll find that if Obama’s negative numbers hold out by June 30th he will have been in the negative numbers for one solid year.

  • oowawa

IMHO, the usual obots are complacent and defensive now that Thee One is in power.  Jackie is angry.  Who knows where that will lead?

  • Ferd Berfle

Jackie’s that child and the water is reality.  Some day she’s going to dive in.  She’s too bright to ignore the water.
    ==============================
Agreed, creeper, but she’s also too self-indulged to acknowledge the tide against her.

  • Ferd Berfle

    A meltdown, oowawa.

  • creeper

Good point, oowawa, but I think many obots are angry like Jackie, not complacent.  Barry’s election isn’t working out for them personally and they’re finding it harder and harder to defend him.  Their disillusionment leaves a vaccuum and they’re struggling to figure out what to fill it with.

At least some of them seem to be going through the early stages of grief.  They’re almost through denial and starting into anger.

    Three to go.

  • oowawa

LOL Ferd–Maybe so.  But a meltdown can lead to new beginnings, and is much preferable to crystallizing into an immutable cell of the Oborg.  I think we see Rolling Stone magazine in the process of a meltdown right now . . .

Arabella Trefoil: Joan of Arc looking very much like Mary Poppins armed with three umbrellas–an unstoppable force!  Lead on!

  • creeper

That article mentions the “scandal” of Whitewater also.  Some scandal.  The Clintons lost, if I recall correctly, forty thousand dollars on their Whitewater investment.

I can’t believe they’re still dredging that drek up.

  • creeper

“That being said, it is always good to discuss these issues with you, creeper.”

    Ferd

‘Preciate that, Ferd.  From my perspective, you’re an easy man to carry on a dialogue with.

  • Onofre’s arm

I’m sure Arabella knows, as far as using an umbrella as a weapon, that the most effective technique is to ram the device up your opponents ass and THEN deploy it.

  • creeper

Speaking of angry obots, did you see this?

  • oowawa

“Meanwhile, Politico reports that ACORN isn’t going away – it’s merely changing form.”

Out of the little ACORN grows . . . the mighty and unstoppable plague of Kudzu that crawls across and overwhelms everything . . .

My answer to another letter from the democrats asking for money

the NEW democratic party put the worst enemy of my country in my lifetime in a position to do the most harm.
the NEW democratic party can not be trusted with my country.
the New democratic party made me ashamed to be called a democrat after almost 50 years.

Any donations that I make in the future will go to help the wildlife that your do nothing selection as president helped harm.
refused help from England, Holland and 15 other countries that could have stopped the spread of the oil, while he was golfing and partying.

It may not do any good but I feel better reminding them of the damage they did to my country

You’ve never lived dowm south, have you? Perspiration, humidity, and heat make for a frizzy hairdo, irrespective of your hair consistency.

Imagine trying to do anything with your hair while living and working in a 90-degree sauna.

  • Ferd Berfle

I’m a 53-year old male with a pony tail because I refuse to look like a convict and shave my lumpy head but can’t get my hair to do anything, either.

  • Ferd Berfle

Imagine trying to do anything with your hair while living and working in a 90-degree sauna. Katmoon tries but it doesn’t work. Moreover, I’m a 53-year old male with a pony tail because I refuse to look like a convict and shave my lumpy head but can’t get my hair to do anything, either, in this heat and humidity.

  • Diana L. C.

And for someone like me with thick naturally wavy hair, I end up looking like a member of those old Big Hair bands, maybe Twisted Sister.

  • creeper

Brava, helenk.  Concise and to-the-point.  They may not listen but you couldn’t have made it any plainer.
