Warning Signs Barack Ain’t Ready

When I went thru paramilitary training with the CIA 22 years ago I learned more than how to shoot weapons, throw a grenade, reisist interrogation, or navigate rough terrain. I also got a chance to gauge how my classmates reacted under pressure. Most did very well. I learned, for example, I could trust Valerie Plame, Jim Marcinkowski, Mike Grimaldi, Brent Cavan, and others who, because they are still undercover, must remain anonymous. There were a few who cracked under the stress of limited sleep, physical exertion, and psychological pressure. Those folks you wanted to keep in positions where they would not be responsible for the welfare and safety of others. I learned I would like to know ahead of time what someone would do when the chips were down. You normally don’t want to wait until your house is on fire to learn your roomate is afraid of fire.

Remember George Bush on the morning of 9-11 after he was informed a second plane had hit a tower of the World Trade Center? He was lost. He did not know what to do. He was unprepared for the pressure.

Which brings me to Barack Obama.

I was chatting last night with a good friend, a retired Navy SEAL Captain, who said, “Barack may be a nice guy but what worries me is that he is even more unprepared than George Bush to handle a crisis.” Amen!! And we are seeing the warning indicators that this is true.

Yesterday’s clumsy attempt to smear both Palin and McCain with the clunky use of lipstick and dead fish as metaphors reveals a guy not handling the pressure of adversity with grace, humor, and steadiness. But that’s not the first time we have seen this Barack on display.

When he appeared at Rick Warren’s church–a conservative evangelical congregation known for a strong pro-life position–Obama was totally unprepared to answer a question about abortion. I could understand him stumbling at a Teamster’s meeting if hit with a question about when does life begin, but how could he be surprised at Rick Warren’s church? You do not have to be a political pro to anticipate that you would be asked something about abortion at a Warren hosted event. But Obama clearly did not anticipate it. The best answer he could come up with was the lament, “That’s above my pay grade.”

Let’s face the uncomfortable truth–Barack is like George Bush, a better public speaker, but equally insecure. Bush and Obama share a lot in common in terms of having political savvy to run pretty tough campaigns. But when it comes to the nuts and bolts of executive decision making, Obama, like Bush, is unprepared, self-absorbed and not a quick learner.

John McCain’s experience in combat and prison have equipped him to deal with the unexpected. Despite his reputation for a short fused temper, he has demonstrated an ability to remain cool under fire and stay on task. When his campaign collapsed in 2007 he did not cry or lash out at the press. He marched on.

We also have proof that Sarah Palin is made of stern stuff. She displayed far more grace and competence under pressure than Barack ever has. It was only the day after her riveting speech to the Republican Convention that we learned her teleprompter failed. But she did not miss a beat. She did not stammer and stutter. She did not sweat. With humor and confidence she gave the speech and did not reveal thru her actions that things were going awry. That my friends is the kind of leadership you want at the helm when a crisis hits.

And I’ll guarantee you this–if Sarah Palin was sitting in a school classroom when a plane hit the World Trade Center she would not be sitting there blankly trying to figure out what to do. When the pressure hits Barack he calls a woman a pig and a stinking fish. The only person in this race who is like George Bush just happens to be Barack Obama. He can try to run against Bush but the fact is that he is more like Bush than he is willing to admit.

    I don’t think BO has ever really had to face adversity, that is why he has thin skin and no grace. Everything has always been handed to him on a politically correct plate.

    • Steve

      when he ran for State Senate, he had all Democratic competition removed by court order.
      His Republican rival selfdestructed because of a bitter divorce and the same happened during his run for US Senate. The only two politicians who ever refused to bow out against him were Bobby Rush and Hillary Clinton. Rush beat him 2-1, Clinton sadly ran out of primaries. Back then he was already whining that chipping away from his caucus lead in delegates hurts, that a roll call vote would hurt.

      And now the Republicans! In a year where they seemed doomed to lose, McCain gets himself a gamechanger and Obama cries and smears. This is not leadership, this is pathetic.

      • http://makethemaccountable.com Carolyn Kay

        There were TWO Obama rivals in the 2004 Illinois race for the U.S. Senate who were done in by having divorce papers made public–just coincidence, I’m sure.

        Obama’s main rival in the primary was Blair Hull. When Hull’s divorce papers were revealed a couple of weeks before the election, showing allegations from his wife that he had threatened her, he was toast. And then Obama won the primary easily.

        His original general election opponent Jack Ryan (no relation to disgraced former governor George), had to resign when HIS divorce papers were made public, revealing that he had asked his wife to have sex in sex clubs. The Republicans then chose the hapless Alan Keyes, who was easily defeated.

        Obama “wins” elections in the dirtiest of ways, but he doesn’t know how to deal with people who will fight even dirtier than he.

          well if Mccain and sarah have the goods on tape or any other way on Obama..they better damn well get those tapes and goods out now..they better strike now while the numbers are up and they are hot..because otherwise we will be saying Pres Obama..

          these bastards obviously had the goods on Edwards..Edwards had goods on Obama..but he never used the stuff..until Obama took Edwards down like a wet towel..Hillary had stuff on Obama..she would just never use it and by the time she had to it was too late..

          Go McCain..crush this bastard now..do not wait..
          Your numbers are up..strike now..if you really have the goods on this guy..if not..watch this little prick smear..until he breaks McCain..Nothing is above the little prick.

          And remember..this is ig folks..this is a fight for control of the new world order..

          Do not tell me Mika Brzezinski just happened to get the job on MSNBC when the election cycle began..and that is was a coinsidence..when her daddy just happens to be OZ behind the curtain with Obama..

          There just happens to be hurricanes during the RNC convention..

          please look up Zbigniew Brzezinski and H.A.R.P.

          THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS ..this is the power of the world we are talking about..this is no game to these people..we are talking controlling the world..and the World power..and money.

          • hank48188

            Ziggy Brzezinski is like a Republican Henry Kissinger, he was the person responsible for hooking Jimmy Carter up with David Rockerfeller and the Internationalists. Now Ziggy and GEORGE SOROS are bringing you BARACK OBAMA, which is much worse than Carter. Soros is also involved in the politics of other countries as well, promoting his Internationalist agenda. These folks are very powerful, they can take a complete unknown and promote them to the highest Office in this country, people do need to wake up, the DEMOCRATIC PARTY is controlled by Soros, he provides the money for them, MoveOn.org and others.

          • No Obama for me

            Queenie,

            You are so right but what are you referring to about the hurricane. I doubt the Democrats had anything to do with that one.

            You are right though McCain and the Republicans need to bring out the goods on Obama while they are strong and then they can remain strong.

          • Liz B

            I have been talking about these things for a while now, and some people dismiss the idea, but the truth is there are big powers that are controlling the Press. Everyone believed that the Media was “in love” with Obama and that that was why he was getting such kid glove treatment. No. The Financial backers have given their orders that this is part of the game plan, they thought if they controlled what we were told about Obama, and kept writing story after story ad nauseum, that we would just start nodding our heads in agreement. There is very likely a fix in place, because people like George Soros, who is a billionaire, who has made his living collapsing markets in some pretty important countries, has a huge stake in this. Obama was brought in by Dean to Soros for meetings way back in 2004, before BO was even a U.S. Senator, and they were discussing putting the package together for the 2008 election. Being the egoist that he is, Obama is the perfect puppet. He does not know anything about how to be POTUS, and will depend on his Advisors and Cabinet choices to do the actual governing of the nation. Most likely folks, those people will be working for Brzezinski and Soros, and others, THEY will in fact, be in control of our country, and BO is just the suit standing at the podium. I strongly believe Soros is hoping to collapse the U.S. market, some have suggested that England has a stake in that, and that adds up when you think about it closely. Soros has worked on behalf of the British Govt., England may be an ally, but before the U.S. became the leader of the free world, England was the lead power. India, China, all of Europe were beholden to England. We gained our Independence from them, and don’t kid yourself, they aren’t celebrating the fourth of July in London, now, nor ever. Incredible as it may seem to Americans, the British Govt. would like to destroy America and regain their status in the world. George Soros may be the tool they are using to destroy our economy, and Obama is the tool that Soros will use to do that. The plan is to bring a true Socialistic society to us. Capital gains taxes rising to 28% is bad news for investors, which is bad news for the economy. When investors have losses, the average American worker is then affected by layoffs, and loss of jobs. The Redistribution of wealth that Obama (who sought his job as a community organizer to implement the teachings of Saul Alinsky), has always sought to be the modern day Robin Hood, and thus the voter drives in the inner cities are extrememly vital to his effort, because he is in effect using the poor to help overthrow the economy by telling them they will benefit more through more Govt. programs that the higher taxes on the “rich” will provide. 42,000 a year is not rich, and that is where the tax increases will begin.
            This is so much more than a woman’s issue, or a personality issue…If Obama wins this election, by hook or by crook, the reprecusions will be enormous for everyone. The above post I responded to is from someone who obviously “gets it”, and unfortunately unless most Americans really do their research and dive into serious news, not the soft stuff peddled at the supermarket, we will not be given the important facts that we need to know because the ones who stand to benefit most are the ones who control what we know, and what we are allowed to know.

            THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS ..this is the power of the world we are talking about..this is no game to these people..we are talking controlling the world..and the World power..and money.

            What Terrorism and War can not destroy, The World Economists can. We can be defeated by our economy, if you think you don’t know Soros, and are skeptical of his power to wreak havoc, consider this…he was the reason for the Haliburton stock plummeting a few years ago, and when stocks reached a low of about 20-25 dollars, he bought the stock and became the new controlling investor. He has enough money to buy us out. If Barack Obama is elected, he will do it.

            There are many personal reasons to oppose Obama, you may have personal or political reservations to not support a McCain/Palin ticket, but I believe what is at stake is so much more thatn the typical election year issues. Please think with your heads before you vote, there just may be much more than meets the eye at stake.

              - I’ve always believed that things were being fixed, and George Soros has enough money to do this.

              This is beyond scary.

              Another great post from you LizB.

                I think the real conversations that are ongoing here at NQ are a good example of what is right with America, and that when it’s all said and done we agree with each other on the most important points, even if we differ on the minor ones.

            • mimi

              So, is Soros going to give up some of his billions in this redistribution of wealth?

              I’m not being funny. I don’t think the wealthy people involved are going to give up their money. They just want to control everything.

              Fuck them!

              And 0bama,too!

            • diane

              Responding to Liz B. – Your comments are very interesting. Politics has been a very dirty business. Corruption, trillion$ at stake, favors being arranged. I remember President Kennedy – his assasination. I remember the mad scramble to ‘reason away’ what really happened – who was R E A L L Y involved. Watergate, another scandal. Our government has historically been manipulative and ruthless. If Obama is the front man for billionaires – we are indeed in hot water. When votes were ‘miscounted’ manipulated, in Florida, to have Bush re-elected – we were indeed in hot water. Corruption was N O T caused by Obama. It’s not that identifiable. The real corruptors are in their lofty towers. Always hve been, always will be. We are indeed in very deep and very hot water.

          Carolyn; I kept bringing this up doing theprimaries, telling anyone that would listen that he never had a real race. I also told people that when he had a real Republican opponent he would fall apart. Hillary could not do or say anything in the primaries without being accused of destroying the party. The Republican want to destroy the party. She told everyone that he could not defend.

        • churl

          I recall the speculation that it was Oville that tipped off the Enquirer about Edwards. Anything new on that?

        • http://MaqisBHOTroll mary

          “POLITICALLY DRUNK FOR POWER” (a pro-Hillary Conservative blog) has an excellent article today on how Obama fraudulently stole the election from his mentor AA Sen. Alice Palmer and how he unearthed dirt about his two opponents by leaving “unsealed” divorce documentation on the front steps of newspapers. Naturally,his two opponents dropped out of the race. Read it so we can be prepared for this dirty rat’s Chicago political sewers tactics in this election….
          Obama appears to be a political misogynist recidivist with no shame and will stop at nothing to smear Gov. Palin with his 30-lawyer investigative “team of dirt-gatherers” sent to Alaska…

      • Lark

        Clinton sadly ran out of primaries

        Clinton did not ran out of primaries. Clinton, like Barack now, did not know how to react and handle Obama’s strategy. Her campaign did not react correctly by calling him to own his platform instead of stealing from every other candidate, specially Hillary. Hillary gave Barack to much slack and he basked in his dishonesty.

        IMO, she still does not know how to react about Oblahblah.

        • Thinker

          I disagree.

          It was hard to react when you had the race card thrown at you, and the Obama campaign and the media are fanning the flames.

          Then they fanned the flames saying that Hillary wants Obama dead, and opportunists like Al Sharpton threatening to riot if Obama didn’t get the nomination.

          And on top of that, she had to deal with Dean, Pelosi, and Brazile helping Obama commit voter fraud!!

          Hillary was taking hits from soooo many different angles, and I’m still amazed that she stayed in the race for as long as she did, still managing to win all of the big states against Obama,etc.

          • mimi

            Clinton had the AA community to deal with. The Republicans don’t have that albatross around their neck.

            The reaction from the AA community was OVER THE TOP! Although we are a minority, in smaller districts, the AA community often brings Democratic candidates over the top.

            0bama hit the Clintons in a their most vulnerable spot. The Clintons are very proud of their work with the AA community and Civil Rights. It’s a benchmark of their legacy. And in one fell swoop, this scumbag put them in a very tenuous position.

            Many of you don’t get that because you feel that she should have just said “to hell with the black community!” Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way. Like it or not 0bama had them trapped.

            • lark

              I accept that. You are right. I see what happened now much more clear. Thanks.

          • http://MaqisBHOTroll mary

            Thinker

            Thanks for insights! It is truly amazing that Hillary managed to stay in the ring right through the primaries, without throwing in the towel as early as the end of January when they started attacking her from all sides.

            Sexism was a tool ordered by the Obama campaign’s Axelrod and executed by the media misogynist frat-boys flawlessly so as to sufficiently diminish Hillary.

            It was owing Hillary’s Hero credentials and her increasing number of admirers everywhere that we saw her staunchly defend the Winner’s title to the end. Hell, even the supposedly ‘neutral’ media referees were united in their fight against her!

        • stodghie

          hillary started slow and then warmed up to be sure. but THE BLAME belongs with the dnc, brazile, pelosi, reid, super delegates, media, and those easily lead in my view silly voters who buy the crap that the obama campaign spews including racist and sexist smears.

        • http://www.lindastarr.us Linda Starr

          I think that’s unfair to Senator Clinton. When she tried to counter his attacks with facts, Obama had planted trolls in the audience to boo her on cue. The media boys trashed her hourly, not just daily, with misogynsitic hate speech. I don’t know how she did it. I certainly couldn’t listen to endless and constant denigrations about my gender or myself as she did. That’s why I’d never make a good candidate for public office. I’d tell them all to go Cheney themselves!

          Has it occured to anyone the possibility that the strain is showing on BO because just maybe he’s gtting very worried about the lawsuit to challenge his eligibility? He knows he’s gonna be found out and go to jail. I’m sure he figures the Party Bosses are going to all point fingers of guilt at him and let him take all the heat. I’d feel sorry for him if he weren’t such a total jerk.

          He’s just hoping his lawyers can find a way to shut down the suit before the truth comes out. Then you add the rejection of all the white women, over 40′s, and blue collar workers who they said they didn’t need and now have lost. Well I think it explains a lot. He just can’t believe his luck has run out! And he can’t cut it when it matters now that his butt is frying in the skillet. For that matter, I don’t think Biden is doing very well with women either, so maybe THEY don’t know how to handle it at all?

    • Dawnelle Leona Del Puma

      hell ya

    • http://MaqisBHOTroll mary

      I agree. Giving the White House keys to Obama is like giving the keys to your brand new car to your 13-year-old son and then sitting in the back seat waiting for the accident.

      Obama has never owned up to his own camouflaged misogynist bias that was and remains rampant and untreated. HIllary was bashed by the media frat-boys with one hand tied to her back by her own Party! No one else could have endured Hillary’s punches from the media and her own party for that long–while gathering the majority of the popular vote.

      To view Obama’s ignominious rapper-wannabe act on youtube’s mega-hit: “OBAMA GIVES HILLARY THE FINGER” is to see a juvenile comedian with a cruel sexist streak showing his extreme disrespect for his fellow female Senator, smirkingly basking in the applause of his equally imbecilic audience.

      Periodically, Barry feels down and launches attacks against (Palin) to boost his appeal…

      Unfortunately for Barry this time there is no place to hide. His camouflaged misogyny is sufficiently blatant and out in the open for all women to see.

      This is the first election since 1920, when Women Voters will be the decisive swing factor that will ensure the defeat of Obama’s misogyny and the ex-Democratic Party’s failure to address the media sexism that contributed to Hillary’s fraudulent ‘defeat’.

      A vote for Palin is a vote to ensure the Ex Democratic Party and Barack are taught a lesson in Gender Sensitivity 101 – classes commencing November 4th!

  • DPinFlorida

        This is from his youtube infamous mega-hit:

        “Obama Gives HIllary the Finger” — scraping dirt off his shoes and flip-offing his fellow female senator while using his midfinger smirkingly and waiting for his clueless followers to ‘clue in’ to his despicably sexist gestures. Shame on the skinny piglet from Chicago’s sewers…You can put lipstick on him and he still won’t spell empathy!

    • DPinFlorida

      You mean an “in your face” type of sleeper agent? Because this guy is named Barack Hussein Obama and has been setting off warning alarms all throughout this campaign.

      Wouldn’t it be nice if some of those reporters going to Alaska would ever think of checking out Chicago or some huts in Africa and interviewing some people?

          He has the same purple lip as Arafat.

          Barack Obama’s father was registered with the Kenyan Gov as a Arab/African. (have not seen the document on this, but the researcher is well respected)

          Barack Obama has three Arabic names.

          Frank Marshall Davis lived in Kansas as did the Dunhams.

          Frank Marshall Davis lived in Hawaii and was friends with the Dunhams. FMD was also a pedophile, homosexual and communist.

          Frank Marshall Davis once lived in Chicago

          Frank Marshall Davis had a friend in Chicago named Richard Wright, who was his intimate friend. Richard Wright was also a communist and homosexual. (Google pictures shows some resemblance to Richard Wright)

          Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama moved to Chicago and entered a church run by Jeremiah Wright. Wright is a “former” Black Muslim and was supported on a blog by the Illinois communist party. Hamas was promoted at his church. Hamas is a direct arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.

          There are many many many ties to Arab/Muslims. There are many ties of Jimmy Carter & Brzezinski
          to Muslim/Arabs turn your eyes toward the Middle East and thank them for the mess they started.)We know who Carter supports for Prez, we know Ziggy is now Obama’s foreign policy man.

          It is no leap of the imagination for Barack Hussein Obama to be a creation.

          I also think that slip about his Muslim faith was on purpose. He said in a very resent speech that no one should poke around in anyones religious beliefs “including mine” I think he knows that the Republican have something on him. It may be his evening prayer, or more damaging possibly actual video of him kneeling.

          I have no problem with anyone about their faith. But after 9/11 it would be very hard for many people, myself included to overlook it. If he has hidden the fact then that makes it sinister.

          After 9/11 he said he would stand with the Muslims. He had a member of the Muslim Brotherhood at his DNC. A member of the same Muslim Brotherhood who vowed (shown in court documents) that they would destroy America from the inside”

          Yes he may be a made person.

          • Liz B

            you really put it all together. I didn’t read your post earlier before I wrote mine in response to mimi, but I am glad I came back to this. I just read or heard recently that 80% of his fathers lineage is Arab, I think Sunni. I certainly can’t keep it all straight, and time is running out. God, for once I pray to see what Karl Rove has up his sleeve. It’s almost 9/11 and I think we all remember that day and how it changed us. I never felt more frightened or vulnerable. I started to fear way back then that the Terrorists would finish destroying us by an inside job the next time. Do you think we are the only people that see this? Sometimes when I read the papers, or watch the news I feel like at least half the country is walking around wearing blinders. Thanks for sharing your talking points. We gotta get our news somewhere since MSNBC and CNN are now just full time Obama commercials disguised as news.

      • Steve

        How about “It is so obvious, nobody will believe it, because it is so obvious”

        They are over there with troopergate and an 11 year old kid getting tasered, so it is all going to be meaningless. I am still stewing that the Boston Globe article about the mismanagement of public housing funds in Chicago, and the Obama links. The MSM is chasing TrooperGate, but how about chasing down MurderGate, where a gate in disrepair killed an innocent child?

        So they are all gutless or their strings are being pulled, or most likely, both.

      • mimi

        Sometimes, I really believe this. If not from birth, then at an early age he was recruited.

        It would not have been hard. He was abandoned by his father and his mother left him in the care of her parents. He was alone. A fatherless, biracial child grappling with issues of identity. Although I give them credit, I can imagine that it was difficult raising a biracial child in a racially polarized country. And they were plain folks born in an era when interracial relationships were taboo. Even if they weren’t people who were actively racists, it still could not have been easy for them. I certainly give them credit for handling it, but I’m sure they made mistakes.

        One of those mistakes was exposing 0bama to Marshall. And this is where I think if we buy into the ‘sleeper’ scenario, where 0bama could have been recruited. In his book he mentions that Marshall talked to him about Chicago and encouraged him to go there. What that says is that they had political discussions.

        So much is off about 0bama. Palin hasn’t been in the limelight a full 2 weeks and the press and 0bama 0peratives have swooped down on Alaska. So far we’ve heard from friends, neighbors of hers and all the normal info you’d get from anyone.

        0bama, on the other hand, zilch! Mother and father, dead, grandfather, dead, grandmother, unavailable. Step-father, dead. Sister, no interviews. No friends, no neighbors, no ex-schoolmates, nothing…ZILCH, NADA!

        And like someone pointed out, the msm doesn’t seem interested. Did they think that we’re that stupid as to have not have noticed even that.

        I think this is what I resent most of all. Being played for stupid. This I think is where they completely lost me.

        • Liz B

          I think you are on to something Mimi, in fact I agree with the influence that you feel Frank Marshall Davis held over Barack. In many ways, I believe he chose Frank as his mentor because of the absence of any other Black males in his life, let’s face it, Barack didn’t look like his Mom’s parents, and didn’t have an over abundance of AA’s to run with in Hawaii, at least not at the private school his family put him in. Frank was a Communist, and because his Mom was an Atheist, and his father was a Muslim, I feel Barack felt even more isolated. The Communist part of Frank may have been a draw to someone who didn’t see himself as mainstream or like other kids his age. There are well known rumors(?) that Davis was a pedophile and a bisexual, sometimes young men seeking approval/acceptance/affection from a father figure allow themselves to be victimized by their mentor because to reject molestation would be an isolation of the abuser, which they often feel is worse. (I am not a Psychiatrist, but my Mother was a molested child, and her father was her molestor. It is the most confusing type of abuse imaginable and it changes a person permanently). I can only speculate at what the true relationship between Obama and Davis was, but I believe he was the first mentor, and he made the strongest impression. Barack went on to seek several mentors, and the majority of them seem to be either Communists, or anti Israel, or Black Liberation Theologists, oh, and you can toss in a couple of Socialists along the way. These associations weren’t ones the Media had to dig up, because Obama wrote about most of their influence on him in his memoirs. No small feat, when you consider how so much of his life he has very carefully guarded the public from ever finding out the real details on. For us to believe that the associations he has held his entire adult life would hold no influence in his views, or the way he would govern us, is to be totally irresponsible as voters.
          I feel most sad about the influence he has had on the young voters. Young people are so hungry for someone they can call their own. They want to make change, and they take someone who looks so non threatening, at his word. The Youth are idealistic. Parts of Obama’s past associations, his admitted drug use and rebellion to authority, and the status quo, only make him more appealing to the teenaged to mid twenty’s age group. The youth relate to him, and they don’t understand why we shouldn’t all believe that Barack is here to save us.
          I read a quote years ago, but it’s author is unknown to me, but in effect it said something like “To be conservative when you are young is to have no heart, to be liberal when you are old, is to have no brain”.
          I wish this election was about getting the first Black man, or the first woman of any race, into the White House, and for some Americans it is really as simple as that, but for a lot of us, it is so much more, it feels like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders.

            Excellent insights. Sometimes “it feels like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders”. Let’s hope that someone other Barack will be entrusted with the task of ‘dusting it off’ our shoulders. For to think otherwise would be a frightening thought indeed!

            The traumas of child sexual abuse, unfortunately, are the toughest to heal and if Obama were to have been (as it seems most probable) subjected to this as youngster, it would explain his passive-aggressive behaviour pattern in dealing with women, especially women in power. He hasn’t figured it out yet. But I resent his using his run for the presidency as therapeutic intervention! It may assist Him to take a course in Gender Sensitivity 101 any time before November as he seems to be oblivious to his own barely camouflaged misogyny!

    • fluffy bunny

      Yeah, it’s not like he makes it a secret what he wants to do. The Obama Youth, the guarantee to slash missile defense and Future Combat Systems research, his enthusiasm for socializing with the worst elements in Chicago, his inclusion of a reparations proponent as his education advisor, and on and on.

      In 10 years are there going to be ignoramouses walking around wailing that they voted for the Obamassiah of hope and change and didn’t know the change he was promoting was fascism? The correct response will be a sharp kick in the gonads.

      • BernieO

        But even worse, he bobbles questions that he has to know are coming. The abortion question is a good example. Obama was being interviewed by an evangelical minister but wasn’t prepared for this?
        And remember the uproar over Hillary “bungling” the question about drivers licenses for illegals in one debate? The media went ape and ginned this up to have an excuse to go after her. (Before that she had been so good in debates, clearly winning all of them, that they had no ammunition, even though they clearly despise her and Bill.) But when Obama got the SAME QUESTION two weeks later, he was completely unprepared. I knew then he was a weak candidate. How in the world could he – or Axelrod – not have known that this highly publicized question would come up again and be ready for it? Of course, the media only talked about his very telling mistake for a couple of days then disappeared it.

    • elise

      I watched that too, Snapper, and I thought it was one of the strangest interviews of this political campaign. I have never seen Obama reach to physically touch an interviewer before. He was sitting on the edge of his seat the entire time leaning toward O’Reilly. I wonder if he was being deliberatly agressive or just tense?

      • NoBamaNoWay

        i think he’s a punk and he knew he could get away with the physical intimidation attempt because o’reilly wasn’t going to slap his hand back or punch him in the face on national tv. it was yet another move to shore up his ‘manly’ credentials among his obamacrat junior bully club. they eat that shit up. i think these people have some serious self-esteem issues.

        Bill had his body language expert on, she said he was reaching out to Bill, he wanted to connect with Bill. He knows that he needs to make a good appearance on O-Reilly so he’s desperately grasping for understanding.

          If that is what Barack wanted, then he should have reached out with a loofah.

    • Hank

      He is “The Most Truthful Liar that I Know”, we all know the truth except for him.

    • Chicago Joe

      He was trying to co-opt O’Reilly to his side. That is how he “works across the aisle.” You and I, Bill, we both worked our way up from nothing…blah blah.

      When he reaches across and does the physical thing, he is literally trying to bring the interviewer over to his side. And he looks like an amateur doing it BECAUSE HE HAS SO LITTLE PRACTICE AT IT. Since he burst upon the world as the great gift to all mankind that he is, reporters big and small have genuflected before him and practically asked to kiss his ring. He is not used to anyone sassing him.

      O’Reilly only had 30 minutes with him, so given that he got a lot of bang for his buck, but because of that, they only skimmed the surface of the cesspool of Barack’s past associations.

    • fluffy bunny

      Barely know? jeez the guy should have to withdraw in disgrace right now.

      Poor Joe Biden, falling on his sword for the democrat party by accepting this loser’s veep nomination. I still say that everybody else turned him down. If Biden had said no, the only person left who would say yes was John Kerry, IMHO.

      Kerry’s enough of a shamless wanker that he would have gladly accepted the nomination. Yes, I’m still pissed that Lieberman wasn’t the dem nominee in 2004.

    • Heather

      I found him downright scarey on O’Reilly. His eyelids are blue for one thing. Is that makeup? Makes him look like an exotic reptile of some kind. The studio lights shone in his eyes in a very creepy way, making him look like a borg.

      He looked to me like a kid trying to bluff/bully his way out of a punishment by mother. Which, of course, we know he probably exercised on his own mother — and grandparents — as a child. Only children can be easily spoiled and learn how to get over on adults with a mixture of charm and coercion. That’s Obama 100%.

      • http://MaqisBHOTroll mary

        Heather

        You’re so right on this one! Obama’s interview with Reilly was an eyeopener. Obama’s passive-aggressive, attention-and-sympathy-seeking gestures indicated his inner conflict and “mother issues” more than anything. He really is a 12-year-old using this election, as Palin said, as a way to Self-discovery! He is most pathetic when he is left to his own unscripted devices.

        Lou Dobbs had his number back in March when he called him “Precious Barack”! A spoiled brat who never received discipline by his Typical White Grandma and Grandpa. Just a paradise school vacation in Hawaii and then an education in Chicago’s political sewers…Great creds for Prez!

    Larry, you are so incredibly right. I have seen SO MANY parallels between Obama and Bush. He even manipulates his followers the same way. But worst of all, he has shown time and again that he simply canNOT think on his feet. And his responses to criticism are almost childlike.

    • Ai1een

      That too is one of MY biggest concerns – as Larry has delineated so well in this post. Obama’s inability to think for himself should be a deal breaker for most Americans but it is rarely ever mentioned.

      #1 – Stole Hillary’s proposed policies during primaries (& Edwards too when he was in it) and claimed them as his own. Edwards even said he and Hillary should sue him for plagarism b/c he stole so much of their work. STEALING OTHERS’ WORK IS A SIGN OF INSECURITY – not the mark of a quick witted leader.

      #2 – Was given his legislation authored by his fellow state senators to pass off as his so he could beef up his record – confirmed by Emil Jones, Jr. INSECURE ABOUT HIS OWN WORK…AGAIN.

      #3 – THE PRIMARY DEBATES – Hello!? His performances compared to Hillary? Well – no comparison at all – she trounced him. Obama proved he doesn’t think well on his feet.

      #4 – “Above My Pay Grade” – Performance at Saddleback. My God – he was by himself – the softest forum one could possibly hope to ask for and he tanked.

      #5 – Uhhhhh, Ahhhhhhh, Ummmmmmmmmm – Talks without a telepromper.

      #6 – Never wrote one article for the Harvard Review while President of the Harvard Review. INSECURITY AGAIN

      #7 – Voted “Present” XXXX times (I’ve seen different numbers but I’m too lazy to research right now). UNDECIDED – HESITANT TO COMMIT ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

      #8 – Claims he voted against the war, but when war was considered necessary and going well among Americans, Obama removed any mention of his voting NO on his website. When interviewed – he said there was very little difference between the polices of George Bush himself at that time. (Classic I was against it before I was for it 4 times in newspapers around the country).

      Could go on but I’m sure others might want to add to the list of Obama’s inability to handle the HEAT.

      • QUEENIE

        Ahhh but Obama did write two poems..here is one and it is disturbing..

        http://www.newyorker.com/online/2007/07/02/070702on_onlineonly_obama

        Pop

        Sitting in his seat, a seat broad and broken

        In, sprinkled with ashes,

        Pop switches channels, takes another

        Shot of Seagrams, neat, and asks

        What to do with me, a green young man

        Who fails to consider the

        Flim and flam of the world, since

        Things have been easy for me;

        I stare hard at his face, a stare

        That deflects off his brow;

        I’m sure he’s unaware of his

        Dark, watery eyes, that

        Glance in different directions,

        And his slow, unwelcome twitches,

        Fail to pass.

        I listen, nod,

        Listen, open, till I cling to his pale,

        Beige T-shirt, yelling,

        Yelling in his ears, that hang

        With heavy lobes, but he’s still telling

        His joke, so I ask why

        He’s so unhappy, to which he replies…

        But I don’t care anymore, cause

        He took too damn long, and from

        Under my seat, I pull out the

        Mirror I’ve been saving; I’m laughing,

        Laughing loud, the blood rushing from his face

        To mine, as he grows small,

        A spot in my brain, something

        That may be squeezed out, like a

        Watermelon seed between

        Two fingers.

        Pop takes another shot, neat,

        Points out the same amber

        Stain on his shorts that I’ve got on mine, and

        Makes me smell his smell, coming

        From me; he switches channels, recites an old poem

        He wrote before his mother died,

        Stands, shouts, and asks

        For a hug, as I shink, my

        Arms barely reaching around

        His thick, oily neck, and his broad back; ‘cause

        I see my face, framed within

        Pop’s black-framed glasses

        And know he’s laughing too.

        Two Poems
        by Barack Obama July 2, 2007

        In 1981, Barack Obama published two poems in the journal Feast. This week, Rebecca Mead writes about Harold Bloom’s take on Obama’s literary endeavors

        • Palin4Prez

          I’ve said this before–Obama is too intensely cerebral for the presidency. He over-intellectualizes every damn thing to its death. His brilliance is better suited for the literary world. His writing vioce (as per his two memoirs) is Richard Wright redux. He is too pathologically self-aware and it’s to his detriment as he’s on the national stage and the veneer is cracking.

          Obama is an artist. An accomplished writer and actor. I say actor deliberately. He is pulling off the Great Black Hope role to perfection against his naive, don’t-bother-to-scratch-beneath-the-surface followers.

          • stodghie

            frankly i find obama one of the most self centered writers i have ever seen. that makes for boring text. hearing a writer constantly referring to self is BORING. smart? i don’t see it. he can absorb a little and then spout out it or write it on a test, but it doesn’t get into his soul so to speak or actually make for critical thinking whereby he realistically looks at situations and makes well informed well thought out decisons. i don’t think he has run this campaign. he lets axelrod do that.

        • TeakWoodKite

          I took that poem to be describing BO being molested by his dad.

          • mimi

            The poem to me points to how much 0bama felt alienation:

            What to do with me, a green young man

            Who fails to consider the

            Flim and flam of the world, since

            Things have been easy for me;”

            This was a moment where the grandfather was obviously trying to connect in his role as surrogate father. The lecture may be spontaneous, or maybe the result of something 0bama did, misbehaving as children do. He’s very taken with the fact that his grandfather drinks and smokes and he is very focused on the way his grandfather looks physically.

            This is not necessarily an unnatural thing. Older people who bare age marks often repulse kids. You notice the large pores on the skin, the smell of someone who drinks/smokes, the staleness of age as opposed to the freshness of youth.

            But the poem has the tone of a child who is on the outside looking in. There’s also no affection in the poem for the person he’s observing. The sense of disgust is barely contained.

            • TeakWoodKite

              I was picking up on the disgust… I agree with your point.

          I had read a similarly-worded poem a few years ago and it was from a child sexual abuse survivor. This poem is self-revelatory and clearly shows Obama was not able to deal with whatever happened in his childhood. Rather than politics he should have gone to therapy. He does need a lot of healing. But why at every one else’s expense?

          Obama’s Poem “Pop” is one that cries out for help!….I almost felt sorry for him. He sounds as if he were quite helpless as a little boy and whoever “Pop” was certainly took advantage of the youngster. It’s sadly revealing of Barry’s loveless childhood…

    Obama-Soetoro has lived a very privileged life. And I agree that he hasn’t been tested in a crisis. Unless he considers female political opponents as his personal crisis?

    I sort of expect that anyone who is elected to the office of President should have knowledge of basic facts — but Soetoro has demonstrated that he doesn’t have the big picture of the world — geography or geopolitical players.

    Also his dislike of huge segments of the US population is really absurd — so he wants to be Prez of just a select group of individuals — and this reminds me of Bush’s behavior. Bush will only speak to hand picked audiences.

    Obama-Soetoro doesn’t have the personality or temperament of a leader. He does have the charm and skills of a cult leader — and those are NOT traits that make a Nation’s President.

    Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin and John McCain worked their way up the leadership skills ladder. They made mistakes along the way — but that’s the nature of learning.

    There is just no way that I can vote for Obama — because he just is not prepared, he is lazy. He is perhaps the laziest politician in American politics today.

    • Julia

  • http://! VetGirl

    What can I say Larry? This aspect of Obama may have been the first thing I sensed about the man, he’s squirrelly.

    A team is only as strong as its weakest link. Unfortunately, being a strong link keeps you exactly where you should (want to) be, behind the scenes getting the job done. GW is a good example of how wrong things can go when the weakest link is treated as the strongest.

    I never thought Obama would get elected. I didn’t know at first he would be such a fantastic Piper. My own drummer drowns out most of that noise. But I have been proven right just as John McCain has proven all of his detractors wrong. The more you get to know Obama, the less confidence you feel in him. Almost like the charm has a short shelf-life due to its lack of authenticity. I comforted myself over these last eight years by saying Bush was such a bad POTUS that the People would have an easy time recognizing good when it came along. Not sure good and politics will rise in my Easy Bake Oven but I grew up in the 1960′s — the Moon is the limit.

    McCain’s speech made me feel that way. In his wooden and stunted way, I saw the Man within the Uniform. The only requirement is love of Country. I trust John on that count.

    Palin is inspiring on so many levels but her star was shot into space by Obama. His most important and crucial choice, the one that does indeed project most about Obama, the one that is fair and true to examine closely as a measure of his judgment — the Vice Presidency.

    The stars aligned and much back room vote wrangling was done to get him to that one crucial point. Had he made the correct decision and picked what was the most OBVIOUS of choices, the person who had just about won the nomination, we would not be talking about Palin at all at this point.

    And that has been the surprise for me. Shakespeare himself could not have written a more flawed and egotistical character than Obama.

    Too late or too early … for my Latin, English will have to do.

      VetGirl –
      I agree with you 100% regarding Obama’s failed VP pick. Biggest sign Obama isn’t ready – his failed judgment in the VP position. Although I’m glad Hillary isn’t the VP pick (wouldn’t want her to be a part of his campaign), his lack of judgment for VP selection should give pause.

      Glad to see Rasmussein poll about women going over to McCain camp.

      My blog posted yesterday:
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      THE KNIFE
      I laugh at the recent cries by pundits & naysayers who question McCain’s judgment in choosing Palin. McCain’s judgment? What about Obama’s judgment?
      Obama had access to a slam dunk for the Democratic Party – Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hillary, who represented 18 million votes. Hillary, who, unlike Obama, consistently beat McCain in national polling for over 6 months running. Hillary, who carried the Electoral College. Hillary, who won the Swing States. Hillary, who well known Republicans asserted was the much stronger threat to a McCain candidacy.
      Had the Obama campaign chosen to lift the blinders off their eyes, reality proved that despite the media’s deceptive coverage of Obama’s (free rock band, free beer, free food bribed) crowds, it was Hillary who garnered more votes than any Presidential candidate in the history of our nation, even in the midst of the self-produced Obama mania.
      Of that 18 million – although the MSM has gone out of their way to hide this fact, 40% were men; men, who surveys show, have been resistant to crossing over to Obama.
      One would think someone in the Obama campaign might have gotten a clue from his disastrous backfired European tour. One would have thought someone in that camp might have had a light bulb moment as the polls tanked lower and lower week by week. One would have thought Barack… someone…ANYONE in “Obamaland” might have been willing to admit to one another, behind closed doors, the obvious truth: Whether they liked it or not, the key for entry to the White House was held in the hand of HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON.
      Yet the judgment of Obama yielded: I don’t need Hillary. Her supporters need to “get over it”.
      Not only was it Obama’s decision to reject Hillary; his judgment went so far as to even refuse to VET Senator Clinton which poured salt into deep primary wounds – another few million votes arrogantly tossed aside.
      Of more portentous magnitude, it was this rejection of Hillary as VP which cued McCain to invite a new star player to join them on the national stage…enter…PALIN. (Stage Right)
      In one evening, less than one hour, one speech, before the RNC nomination was even official, “The Emperor” was exposed as buck naked and all his DNC and Media groupies were moved from power players to laughingstock fodder.
      Palin’s speech resonated with main stream Americans, not just because of her exceptional delivery, but because it validated, point by hysterical point, what main stream Americans have been thinking and feeling and saying to themselves for, lo, these many months. Validation, expertly wielded, is a powerful weapon.
      Hillary Clinton warned them. She warned her Party in every way conceivable for almost a year and up to the very end. However, the DNC Elite refused to listen; even as Americans were still voting for her by huge, embarrassing margins.
      And those Super Delegates, “The Wise Party Protectors” who were specifically put in place to prevent this type of fiasco; turns out, they didn’t even care, they were too busy depositing Obama’s payoff PAC money for their own campaigns. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v+pLPoV4diMjk
      How funny it is to watch our propagandist media and Obama cultists question the judgment of John McCain in choosing Palin, all the while ignoring the failed judgment of “The One” who could have already been measuring the REAL White House windows for drapes had he, like JFK, like John McCain, been able to set aside his ego for the good of his party.
      But in the modified words of Lloyd Benson, “he’s no JFK” and by placing his contrived image above reality (i.e., believing his own hype) Obama selfishly, probably fatally, slit the throat of the Democratic Party’s run for the Presidency, but make no mistake, it was the DNC Elite who sharpened the knife and placed it in his hand.
      And over in Hillary’s hand…the magic key that so easily would have opened the White House door still sits… abandoned.
      Such was the judgment of Barack Obama (& Company)
      (Update: Reported in the New York Times 9/5/08 Obama has, once again, sought out the assistance of Hillary Clinton to help him with his campaign.)
        At least, they, the Obamites and the Obama campaign and Axelrod can blame their loss on a nobody, unknown, upstart female young republican Governor appointee to the lesser position of VP who brought about the demise of the Obama campaign, and not Senator Clinton.
        Nosiree! The Obama campaign cannot blame Senator Clinton for their loss…they now can only blame Obama and Axelrod!
        “If you put lipstick on a pig…..(crowd roars at this)…it is STILL A PIG “…Obama said on 9/9/08.
        Senator Clinton was smart to pretend and talk about doing all she could to get Obama elected, since she really knew that the republicans were going to do all they could to keep him down and out of the way, not to speak of his own natural ability to shoot himself in the foot, become lame and fail to get the end run done over the finish/goal line, just like in the primaries!
        And what about the 527s? Those sneaking toadies that obama said they were ready for?
        Shucks, none showed up…but a feisty young woman from Alaska and a Governor to boot showed up and trumped their convention boost! (The republicans always create the national precedents when they want to set the stage…and you can bet your bottom bippy that they are setting the stage for Governor Palin to run for POTUS in 8 years….after McCain has finished his 2 terms).
        Poor Donna Brazile…I can’t imagine how many boxes of Kleenex she will have to go through before she admits to herself that they( DNC, etc) should never have antagonized the Clintons as they did…they should have made the Clintons their best buddies….and learned from them. “Too Late, The Phalarope”
        Gov Palin has been a saviour to Clinton and all the other millions of female supporters who are now PUMAS and crossing over the Rubicon to McCain. Like the Battle of the Bulge. (Yes,,,you can include men in this bunch too).
        Dona Brazile, Howard Dean, Reid and Pelosi can all go now to their dirty little backrooms and moan and groan that once again, the reality of all the 18 million citizens who believed in democracy have once again trumped their tiny little political powermad machinations made and done for all the world to see by these political amateurs.
        Dean, Brazile, Reid and Pelosi including Pat Leahy and Ted Kennedy have always been political amateurs…and all of these primary shenanigans show that they are no match for the relentless republicans who literally want to disembowel their democratic party, gut it and leave it for dead, no matter how long it takes it to happen. And that all started back when Bill Clinton was first elected…and the republicans are still going strong…and literally won’t stop.
        We see how Michigan and Florida, through their republican political leadership, created a quicksand maelstrom that the DNC leadership fell into and then decided they shouldn’t get out of. (because of the RULSZ…) ..regardless of the historic demands at the time, that they should have acknowledged and allowed those five/six states that wanted early on to be the kingmakers and simply allowed their primaries to be intact and relevant.(but they wanted the RULSZ to stand and be the deciding factor…so the RULSZ won..heh heh heh)
        And certainly they have now made kings…John McCain and Gov Palin.
        It cost Senator Clinton her entire campaign and this year’s nomination….but those are the collateral damages that come with the fighting of great political wars…
        “For want of a shoe, the horse was lost….etc..for want of a horse, .the battle was lost…”…as it goes.
        Man the trenches…the republicans and evangelical voters are coming out in droves, like a swarm of killer bees, like a swarm of locusts, to vote
          The Ghost
          Yes, the “Republicans and evangelical voters are coming out in droves, like a swarm of killer beens to vote…” They have been waiting for their prey for 16 years and now, they are back into the future. All the progress made by the so-called-Democrats in Clinton’s presidency, which Obama refused to acknowledge, praising Reagan’s ‘trajectory’….now ready to be demolished. All because of huge ego and megalomaniac personality of one Barry Soetero also known as Barack Hussein Obama.
          They are ready for their kill and the republicans smell blood….well deserved prey!
          For the flock keepers were asleep at the fence!
        She’s too busy arguing with Big Tent Democrat over Troopergate. Actually I am not sure if she posted on this case but the Troopergate argument is pretty funny. You have to give her credit for allowing people to criticize her position like that.
        I am watching Morning Joe and they are obsessing over the Pig with Lipstick flap. They are not saying he intended it as a slap but that the crowd obviously took it that way and they are saying it was really dumb. It is delicious to see Obama getting the same treatment over sexism that he gave the Clinton’s over racism. Turn about and all that….OF course Barack will now deal the victim card which makes him look childish. Chuck Todd just said that the McCain camp is laughing their butts off that the media has taken the bait and are talking non-stop about the pig issue. I bet he’s right. I know I am.
        • Mary
          I’m watching Morning Joe, too.
          It’s hilarious listening to the Obama supporters who are outraged by the “false indignation” of the McCain campaign, when they were the very “journalists” who carried the Obama outrage water while twisting the words of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
          I should go to confession, for all the personal satisfaction I’m feeling watching them whine about “manipulations.”
          ROFLMAO
        • Heather
          I suspect the McCain set this whole thing up.
          McCain knows full well that Obama and his supporters live in a hiphop-inspired moral cesspool (“99 Problems but a B**** Ain’t One”, flipping off Hillary, etc.) and that they would not be able to resist the lipstick attack. Looks like he was right.
    He also has a problem with the long haul. he fizzles out. Loses his energy. Hillary wore him down twice during the primaries. He gets distracted, tired, bored, or something. But he loses it. It’s like he got bored with the primary and now he’s bored with the general and just wants to be president right now, jump to the next step, and get all this work over with. He’s taken at least three vacations too. For a young guy, he sure doesn’t have much distance to him. He’s a dissconnected person. He says all the giggles and shits stuff but it’s like he’s not really there.
    He’s cynically manipulating all of us. He makes nasty comments like that using code words that seem harmless as old phrases but phrases that have deep meaning. This is like his giving his finger to Hillary. I don’t think he’s coming apart at all and do believe he’s the Saudi candidate for President. His statements are his vicious hatred of women. What strikes me as very odd is how that seems to play very well with the press and the crowds. How can all those young women support him when he shows such disrespect to them and all women. Hooray for McCain’s campaign calling on Obama’s vicious sexism.
    • noproblama
      He’s probably pissed at women because his wife is smarter than him, and no doubt reminds him of that regularly.
    • Heather
      Yes I hate to draw this comparison but the thread of misogynism is one clear connection between Black Liberation Theology, hip-hop, and Islam. And Obama has the sexist dog whistle down. He just blows the whistle and all his little minions drool and bare their teeth.
    • Mr.Murder
      He wants the conversation to shift back onto assumptions and longstanding cliches or bias, that way he can play the victim.
      Obama’s use of metaphor is tyrranical.
  • noproblama
    Larry, I’m totally with you except for the part about Bush and Obama being “politically savvy enough to run pretty tough campaigns.”
    I’d give that credit to Rove and Axelrod.
      Axelrod is not in the same league as Rove. And lets not forget, Rove had friendly media–twice. David Axelrod is nothing more than the Mike Nifong of the Democratic Party.
      Carville, on the other hand, had a very hostile media and still managed to engineer Bill Clinton’s victory. Rove is a dirty trickster with the wind at his back. Carville is the innovator with the wind in his face. Carville, Stephanopolous and Begala invented the “War Room”, “rapid response”, etc. Carville plays rough, but never dirty.
    9 Sept 08 – “Obama Lied to ABC News” Andy Martin
    WILLIAM AYERS HAS BEEN THE MASTERMIND BEHIND THE RISE OF BARACK OBAMA
    AYERS HAS DESIGNED AN OBAMA CAMPAIGN STRUCTURE WHICH IS BASED ON AYERS’ THEORIES OF MAOIST REVOLUTION.
    THE CHICAGO VERSION OF “FRIENDS”
    OBAMA LIED TO ABC NEWS AND A NATIONAL TV AUDIENCE
    (NEW YORK, NY)(September 9, 2008) Nailing down the relationship between “mad bomber” William Ayers and Barack Obama has been the greatest challenge of the 2008 presidential campaign.
    The second biggest challenge of 2008 has been deciphering and understanding Barack Obama’s campaign structure. His campaign is unlike any other presidential campaign in U. S. history. Obama’s operation is authoritarian, disciplined and centralized in Chicago. Obama’s reliance on a nationwide network of local “offices” and mailing lists points inexorably to a political latticework straight out of William Ayers’ revolutionary playbook.
    The bottom line: After an exhaustive investigation ContrarianCommentary.com can confirm that Barack Obama appears to be William Ayers’ “front” for a national, ongoing Maoist-style revolutionary campaign structure which will endure past November 4th.
    Ironically, as we searched for the Ayers-Obama relationship in the present, it was staring us in the face: Obama’s campaign is structured precisely the way Ayers would want. That is why Obama has created “Camp Obamas” across the United States to indoctrinate workers, and adopted other similar Fidel Castro/Hugo Chavez tactics.
    The puzzle pieces are finally starting to fall into place. Last week we asked why would Black Panther party revolutionary Khalid Al-Mansour start soliciting money for Obama’s legal education? The answer: Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, were close associates of the Black Panther Party and even unleashed a terrorist attack on a New York judge who heard a Panther case.
    In the 1980′s, the Ayers/Dohrn revolutionary terror network was still working through individuals such as Al-Mansour, who had sufficiently laundered his radical past to assume respectability as a front for a Saudi Prince. The same way Ayers laundered his own past to become a professor of “education” at Illinois’ taxpayer-subsidized university.
    Ayers and Al-Mansour appear to have been in contact. Ayers vouched for Obama to Al-Mansour, who then began a law school fund-raising campaign among prominent African-Americans.
    Obama’s law degree thus appears to have been financed through the encouragement of persons who had been violent revolutionaries and remain unrepentant to this day, the same unconventional way the purchase of Obama’s Chicago mansion was party financed by an Iraqi billionaire.
    Why did Obama get hired as a “summer associate” in 1989 at the law firm which had hired Ayers’ wife, and where Ayers’ father was a prominent friend of the managing partner at Sidley & Austin? The answer is obvious. Ayers was grooming Obama as his future “front.”
    Where did Obama get his first and only legal job after Harvard? At a law firm where Tony Rezko was a prominent client and where name partner Judson Miner was a law school classmate of Bernadine Dohrn-Ayers. Yes, the pieces are starting to come together.
    Was Obama telling ABC the truth when he said met the Ayers’ at a coffee klatch at the Ayers home in 1995? Ayers had already been working with Obama for seven years; Ayers had appointed Obama to head a $50 million foundation. Did Ayers appoint a stranger? Or a front man? The answer is obvious.
    Obama has relentlessly tried to conceal the Ayers/Obama time line, and the ongoing connections between the men. When bits and pieces of the Ayers/Obama relationship have popped up this year, Obama has sought to debunk and deflate each isolated piece of information. No one was able to grasp the big picture.
    Until today, no one had actually connected all of the dots. ContrarianCommentary.com is the first to do so.
    We always wondered why Obama had structured his campaign the way he did: small “offices” all across the United States. No other presidential campaign has ever done this. Bill Ayers is a proponent of locally based revolutionary tactics. Ayers’ playbook is Mao Tse-Tung’s handbook. And Obama’s campaign structure follows Ayers’ matrix. A nationwide network of “Camp Obamas” controlled from Chicago (i.e. Ayers)? You get the picture.
    Obama is not stupid. He is a bright man, very talented, very personable and, until recently, a man without much of a personal history. But there is a shiftless, searching side to Obama’s personality. Due to childhood neglect and abuse, he is a man without a conscience. He was and remains the perfect front for Ayers’ ongoing revolutionary campaign to subvert and subdue the United States of America.
    It can be said without fear of contradiction, a vote for Barack Obama is in reality a vote to put William Ayers in de facto control of the U. S government.
    William Ayers is an admittedly unrepentant violent revolutionary who waged war against every American and who today is still scheming to wage war against the United States. This time he wants his headquarters to be in the Oval Office of the White House.
    William Ayers is the mastermind behind the rise to power of Barack Obama. He has been since 1988.
    ANDY MARTIN WILL EXPLORE THIS CLAIMS IN A NEW YORK CITY NEWS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH (TBA).
    ———————————————–
    THE AYERS/OBAMA TIMELINE: (Version 1.0; a work in progress; dates are approximate)
    1987 William Ayers meets Barack Obama
    1988 Ayers solicits Khalid Al-Mansour to raise money for Obama’s Harvard law School education
    1989 Tom Ayers and William Ayers get Obama a summer job at Sidley & Austin (where he meets Michelle Obama); Ayers’ wife Bernadine Dohrn also worked at Sidley at about the same time as Barack and Michelle.
    1993 Ayers places Obama on Woods Foundation
    1995 Ayers makes Obama Chairman of Annenberg Challenge
    1995 Ayers hosts a coffee klatch for Obama’s political debut (Obama falsely claims this is when he met Ayers)
    2007-2008 The structure of Obama’s presidential campaign increasingly comes to resemble an Ayers-designed national “community organizer matrix” straight out of Maoist theory. This is not merely a presidential “campaign.” Obama’s organization is the first installment of an ongoing movement being paid for with tax-exempt contributions to his campaign, approaching half a billion dollars.
    2008Obama In response to ABC News, Obama tells a national TV audience he was “six years old” when Ayers bombed federal buildings, and they are only casual neighborhood acquaintances. A lie.
    Even though we have finally started piecing the puzzle together, we continue to investigate. For example, where in Chicago did Barack Obama live in 1985-1988? Help if you have an address.
    Because we are still assembling all of the pieces to the Ayers-Obama puzzle, feel free to submit suggestions, additions to the timeline or other information that you believe may be helpful. We will publish updated/corrected versions.
        Stanley Fish has a new book out about the influence of ’60s radicals, who failed to change much of anything, and their subsequent infiltration of Academia. “Save the World on Your Own Time” is the title.
      • BernieO
        I was in college in DC no less from ’68-’72 so I was there for all the demonstrations. When the radicals like Ayers got involved it killed the peace movement because no one who was fighting to bring peace wanted to be associated with them. It was them that gave everyone such a bad image. They gave Nixon the issue he needed to appeal to middle America and get elected. Nixon’s Moral Majority set the stage for the Christian Coalition, Reaganism, etc. We are still fighting this destructive legacy. Ayers and his ilk. set this country back years.
        No Democrat should ever align themselves with Ayers or any other unrepentant radical from that time. They are destructive, evil people.
        • mimi
          Yes, people like Ayers, Rudd, those radicals killed the peace Movement and they took away from the Black Liberation Movement.
      I think there is an earlier connection. BO transferred to Columbia from Occidental, apparently at about the same time Ayers was doing graduate studies at Cooper Union. BO attributes some sort of change in conscienceness to his decision to transfer universities. An undergrad at Columbia looking for his place in the history of colonization would be an easy target for an older and more educated grad student, maybe personally and intellectually/politically.
      So the real question is what really sparked the move from Occi to Columbia.
      • Mary
        I find it odd that we see no “friends of Obama” from his Columbia days speaking up on his behalf.
      • Mary
        I find it odd that we see no “friends of Obama” from his Columbia days speaking up on his behalf.
      • TeakWoodKite
        Kal, Obama admits he knew Frank Marshall in Hawaii. Bill Ayers knew Frank as well since his dad and he were “close friends”. As well as the fact that both the BO’s mom and Frank came from Kansas.
        I believe that it is possible that Bill Ayers was on the lamb in Hawaii and met Obama then.
        Bill Ayers was in Ca when Obama goes to Occidental, Ayers goes to Columbia…who follows him? Obama.
        Bill Ayers returns to Chicago… Who shows up? Obama. Obama goes to Harvard , who is promting for letters of recomendations? friends of Bill Ayers.
        Obama is hired by a law firm where Ayers wife works. He gets positions on boards etc. by who? Bill Ayers.
        His first foray into politics is started where? at Bill Ayers house.
        BO uses ACORN for his ride in the hood, who is deeply involved with ACORN? Bill Ayers.
        I believe it is pure un-adulterated BULL that BO was looking for “community orginizer” work while in NYC. It is pure Bull that he spent his first night in NYC an alley across from the apartment where he lived.
        He spent it at Bill Ayers place.
        BO admits that his books contain fictional “elements”.
        One of the on going consistent elements (set theory) is that 1) where Bill Ayers goes, Obama is soon to follow. 2)They both know people in common from “way back”. 3) Both Frank and Bill Ayers have “sexual” similarities. 4) Obama behaves as if he was molested as a child. (see poem by BO up thread, Sinclair allegations.)5) Obama has serious father issues as did Bill Ayers.
        If anyone can “dis-abuse” me of my working theory have at it.
        Remember “never smack”.
        • mimi
          My post below is on the same trail. It’s simply too much of a coincidence that B0 and Ayers have been in the same geographical location so often. One of my axioms is that there is no such thing as coincidence. Even when you happen to be in the right place at the right time and receive some wonderful stroke of good fortune, I believe it’s a sign from the Universe that you are on the right path.
          It strains credulity that Ayers and 0bama have been in the same places this many times in their lives.
          If B0 was molested, my money is on ‘Uncle Frank.’ His own words condemn him. Of course, anything’s possible, but I’m giving his grandfather a pass.
          I’m still not certain that B0′s mother and Frank have a connection going way back to Kansas. But again, anything’s possible. If that’s true, would her parents be in on it? I find it hard to believe that she would have been allowed in the company of Frank, a black man, by her parents as an adolescent child back in that time period.
          So I’m betting that Frank befriended the grandfather and he innocently believed it would be good for B0 to be in the company of an older man of the same race. The grandfather probably felt that B0 was having identity issues that he and the grandmother were powerless to address.
          Even if there was no sexual abuse, there was abuse of power in the way he may have politically influenced 0bama at an impressionable age.
          Again, as my post below asks: Why is no one pursuing this?????
        • Arabella Trefoil
          I think you make sense.
      • mimi
        For the life of me, I do not understand why there is no journalist working this end of the story.
        Why indeed did he transfer?
        This is in keeping with the above posts who are tossing around the ‘sleeper’ conspiracy.
        It really doesn’t help destroy this notion when Ayers was doing grad work down at Cooper Union.
        Add to that the fact that nobody remembers 0bama at Columbia. He says he was in the library studying. Could it be that he was rarely on campus except for classes? And then off to the East Village where Cooper Union is located? This is an ecletic area of commercial businesses, bohemians, radicals and artsy people. NYU students fill the area as do tourists. It’s an area where you can blend in and not be recognized because there are so many ostentatious characters who draw your attention. No one would pay attention if you had had purple hair, or looked like the Mummy. Unlike Morningside Heights which is bright, open and sunny and bristling with family life.
        It’s an area noted for lots of dark cafes, vegetarian restaurants, and at that time you could still find lots of old world diners and eateries. And being on the east side, it would be easy to travel back to East 94th Street on the Lexington Ave train, the Astor Place Station, which is right next to Cooper Union is a local station which is convenient for the East 96th Street Station uptown, also a local stop. No more than a 15 to 20 minute ride. In some ways, a simpler, and maybe even the same commute time that going crosstown to Columbia from East 94th Street would be on public transportation.
        But the question is, why isn’t any professional journalist working this?
        • karen for Clinton (sigh, McPalin now)
          Very interesting, all of it, Teak and Mimi and all the commentators.
          The Weekly Standard blog Posted by John McCormack on July 18, 2008 Why Did Obama Attend Socialist Conferences?
          In Dreams from My Father, Obama writes of the “socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union”, and he later recounts attending a Stokely Carmichael speech:
          In search of some inspiration, I went to hear Kwame Toure, formerly Stokely Carmichael of SNCC and Black Power fame, speak at Columbia. At the entrance to the auditorium, two women, one black, one Asian, were selling Marxist literature and arguing with each other about Trotsky’s place in history. Inside, Toure was proposing a program to establish ties between Africa and Harlem that would circumvent white capitalist imperialism. At the end of his remarks, a thin young woman with glasses asked if such a program was practical given the state of African economies and the immediate needs facing black Americans. Toure cut her off midsentence. “It’s only the brainwashing that you’ve received that makes it impractical, sister,” he said. His eyes glowed inward as he spoke, the eyes of a madman or a saint. The woman remained standing for several minutes while she was upbraided for her bourgeois attitudes. People began to file out. Outside the auditorium, the two Marxists were now shouting at the top of their lungs.
          “Stalinist pig!”
          “Reformist bitch!”
          It was like a bad dream. I wandered down Broadway, imagining myself standing on the edge of the Lincoln Memorial and looking out over an empty pavilion, debris scattering in the wind. The movement had died years ago, shattered into a thousand fragments. Every path to change was well-trodden, every strategy exhausted. And with each defeat, even those with the best intentions could end up further and further removed from the struggles of those they purported to serve.
          Based on that passage it clearly seems like Obama wanted to unite “the movement”–a movement big enough for said ‘reformist bitch’ and ‘Stalinist pig’.
          Obviously political views can change over time (see former Goldwater Girl Hillary Clinton). But it’s telling that Obama’s never been asked about his attendance at socialist conferences, according to a search in Nexis.
          I’m pretty sure that if some Republican had attended fascist conferences in the 1980s, inquiring minds in the press would dog him unrelentingly to find out why he went.
      Keep in mind that right-wingers always say every Democrat running for President is a commie.
      They said FDR was a commie.
      They said JFK was a commie (until he was killed).
      They said Bill Clinton was a commie.
      They said Kerry was a commie.
      They said Hillary was a commie.
      And so on…
        Obama’s mother’s parents moved to Mercer Island from mainland Washington state because the Public School there was full of Commies. Being a commie in the late 50′s was very trendy in liberal circles. Obama’s mother was attracted to those ideas, as was Obama’s father.
      Assuming it exists, and I think it probably does, the Republicans will hold off til October and only use it then if McCain is struggling. Why use your best ammunition up when you have traction with other issues? And why risk looking nasty if is isn’t necessary?
      By the way, Obama actually criticized Bush’s withdrawal of 8,000 troops yesterday. He was carping about there being no timetable. That is incredibly stupid! The public sees Bush doing what the Democrats have been urging by withdrawing troops. The issue of a timetable is just insider baseball.
      Obama is showing that he and Axelrod have been coasting on media love and are not the smart campaigners they have been made out to be.
          NO, NO and NO. BernieO is right: they’re waiting until October to spring the whitey tape, and they should.
          If they bring out the big guns now, there’s too much risk that Obama might actually recover in time to win on 11/4–especially since there’s obviously going to be some major vote tampering on his behalf. It’s the Chicago specialty, after all…
          Nope, they need to start rolling out the heavy artillery in the last week or two of October, so that he’s still reeling from the assault–and it’s all fresh in the mind of the voters– going into November.
      No Creationism in Schools
      On Aug. 29, the Boston Globe reported that Palin was open to teaching creationism in public schools. That’s true. She supports teaching creationism alongside evolution, though she has not actively pursued such a policy as governor.
      In an Oct. 25, 2006, debate, when asked about teaching alternatives to evolution, Palin replied:
      Palin, Oct. 25, 2006: Teach both. You know, don’t be afraid of information. Healthy debate is so important and it’s so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both. And you know, I say this too as the daughter of a science teacher. Growing up with being so privileged and blessed to be given a lot of information on, on both sides of the subject – creationism and evolution. It’s been a healthy foundation for me. But don’t be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides.
      A couple of days later, Palin amended that statement in an interview with the Anchorage Daily News, saying:
      Palin, Oct. 2006: I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum.
      After her election, Palin let the matter drop. The Associated Press reported Sept 3: “Palin’s children attend public schools and Palin has made no push to have creationism taught in them. … It reflects a hands-off attitude toward mixing government and religion by most Alaskans.” The article was headlined, “Palin has not pushed creation science as governor.” It was written by Dan Joling, who reports from Anchorage and has covered Alaska for 30 years.
    • Heather
      Looks like you get all your news from MSNBC and CNN. Why don’t you try going to http://www.votesmart.org and looking up Palin’s actual letters and proclamations as Governor of Alaska? They reflect a person who is diligent and who is fiscal conservative, but in touch with her constituents. Before she cuts any request from the State Budget, she meets with the affected people. And she doesn’t just cut things, she tries to find alternate funding sources for them. As for global warming, oh please. She established a cabinet-level commission to study and mitigate the effects of global warming on Alaska.
      I see this every day among my pro-Obama friends. None of them — none! — reads original sources. They all just regurgitate what is spoon fed them by CNN and the other media (and trust me, none of them watches Fox due to its bad rep among liberals). Every day my respect for liberals in this country drops another notch.
    Amen! Thank you for preaching the truth.
    When it comes to the presidency, character matters. Palin may yet have a lot to learn about foreign policy, but she has the stuff of character and she has demonstrated that she can handle pressure and that she can respond well when the unanticipated occurs.
    I disagree with her on many policy issues, but I am still more comfortable with her than Obama – partly because I believe in our system of separated powers (and I know the Congress will be Democratic).
      1. 2005 BUSH/CHENEY ENERGY BILL: Obama voted for the 2005 Cheney-Bush Energy Bill which put billions of taxpayer dollars in the oil and energy companies’ pockets. Obama’s common interest is with Cheney, Bush and the oil and energy companies
      HILLARY AND MCCAIN DID NOT VOTE FOR THE BILL. OBAMA VOTED WITH BUSH & CHENEY.
      2. UNDIVIDED JERUSALEM AS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL: In a speech before AIPAC Obama said, “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.” Soon after Obama said that he “tried to correct the interpretation” of that statement. He switched his position saying that “it’s going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues and Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations.”
      HILLARY AND MCCAIN/PALIN SUPPORT AN UNDIVIDED JERUSALEM. OBAMA HAS FLIP-FLOPPED.
      3. PUBLIC FINANCING: Barack Obama answered a Midwest Democracy Network questionnaire in September 2007 saying that, “If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election.” Obama ended up following the money and opted out of public financing for the general election.
      HILLARY AND MCCAIN/PALIN SUPPORT PUBLIC FINANCING. OBAMA FLIP-FLOPPED AND IS NOW AGAINST PUBLIC FINANCING.
      4. IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD: Obama’s campaign has said more recently that the Senator “has consistently urged that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard be labeled what it is: a terrorist organization.” But before this Obama spent months campaigning on his opposition to and his vote against the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment which did just that. (HILLARY SIGNED THE KYL-LIEBERMAN AMENDMENT.)
      HILLARY AND MCCAIN SUPPORTED LABELING THE GUARD AS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. OBAMA VOTED AGAINST THE BILL WHICH LABEL THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.
      5. TERRI SCHIAVO: In March 2005, just weeks before Terri Schiavo died from a painful 14-day starvation and dehydration death, the Republican Congress approved legislation transferring the case from state courts to federal courts, delaying her death. When her brain was later autopsied, there was almost NO brain tissue left.
      “An exhaustive autopsy found that Terri Schiavo’s brain had withered to half the normal size since her collapse in 1990 and that no treatment could have remotely improved her condition” http://www.nytimes. com/2005/ 06/16/national/ 16schiavo.
      But Obama voted along with the Republican Congress, along with pro-life Democrats, to have a court intervene rather than have her husband make a decision regarding her life.
      During an April 2007 debate Obama said: “I think professionally the biggest mistake that I made was when I first arrived in the Senate. There was a debate about Terri Schiavo, and a lot of us, including me, left the Senate with a bill that allowed Congress to intrude where it shouldn’t have.”
      During a February 2008 debate Obama was asked name a regret and he said he would like to take back his vote authorizing Congress to intervene to save the life of the brain-injured Florida woman Terri Schiavo.
      HILLARY AND MCCAIN VOTED AGAINST THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS IN MARCH 2005, WHILE OBAMA SUPPORTED THEM.
      BASED ON THE RECORD-
      OBAMA IS MORE OF BUSH
      OBAMA = BUSH 3
      • Mary
        I had no idea that Obama voted WITH Bill Frist and the Republicans on the Terri Schiavo issue.
          In 2005, as soon as he got in the Senate Obama voted for the DICK CHENEY ENERGY BILL, so did Dick Durban (D-Ill) because of the cash they got from EXELON. Thomas Ayers was the former CEO of this Company, Bill Ayer’s Father. McCain and Hillary both voted against this Bill but Obama sold out for $269,900 and his Ayers connections.
I’m so glad the Dems POTUS choice is not involved with any scary Jesus based Christianity, his Christian Church is Black Theology based, and there’s nothing scary about that, right Kate? But never fear, apparently he forgets he is an alleged Christian of any type.     I have to agree with you on this–when you show up at a baseball game, it’s logical to figure you’re gonna talk a little baseball; if you show up at the union hall, you’re talking union issues….the failure–and it was failure–to be prepared for, and cough up a decent answer for the abortion question was “an indicator.” He acted as if he were AFRAID to give his view. He was hesistant and apologetic, and that made him look WEAK and WRONG.
    Now, on that issue, I agreed with his answer, lousy as it was, but what was wrong with it is that he didn’t even TRY to “sell” it. He acted ashamed of it. He wraps everything else in the flag and “How DARE you!!!” but he couldn’t manage to pull out a sheet of freedom and wrap it around this issue, oh, no, no, no, no, NO~~~!!!!!!!
    And of course, the “above my paygrade” part was just plain STUPID. Why not just say “Hey, fundies, I am wrong!!! Oh, and STUPID, too!!!”
    I honestly think the reason for his poor performance on this question is because he LIES to the PUBLIC about his views on choice. He IS ashamed of his position, and it shows in his lousy responses.
    I’m just hearing about Reverend Wright’s affair with the Texas churchwoman now for the first time on the radio….ah, the hits just keep on coming!!! Anything to keep that guy’s name in the news!!!!
  • kgirl1028
    I’ve known this since the first time Obama used the race card time during the South Carolina Primary that He wasn’t ready. far too many blacks have encountered real racism and have said not one word. When obama flung it at bill clinton that told me everything i need to know. it was in that moment I really decided i trust him, didn’t like him, and would not be voting for him. One of the biggest thing ever denied Oprah was when she and no one in the entire cast and Crew Color Purple did not receive one Academy Award. No one really complained about so when Obama who had and still has received a cake walk started winning about the race card, when Bill Clinton had hardly said anything racist, i knew something wasn’t right. And even though most african american jumped on it, all i saw was what obama was a weak coward so unsure of himself that he has to smear someone as a racist to win. The 300 ad visors tipped me off as well, the three times he released a statement in the Georgia incident and still struck out. And what about the winnie the pooh like foreign policy. And most importantly the arrogance, which obama uses alot to cover up what he doesn’t know or is unsure about.
    • Perry Logan
      Democrats playing the race card against fellow Democrats has GOT to be the stupidest political strategy in all of human history.
    • gregoryp
      When I watched the color purple for the first time it was interesting and eye opening. I had some doubts about a huge portion of the story line though. Then when I watched it a second time years later it was easy to see why it didn’t win any awards. It is a pretty bad show that wasn’t directed, scripted or acted well at least in my opinion.
      • http://MaqisBHOTroll mary
        gregoryp
        I disagree. THE COLOR PURPLE was one of the most hert-wrenching epics and can only be matched in story-telling by the 1939 Gone with the Wind.
        No other movie has so accurately captured the plight of the African-American Woman in America than this. And Oprah gives a great performance.
        The solidarity, Sisterhood of black females is what kept their families going in the face of the brutality those doubly-brave women had to face daily not only from the whites but from the Men in their own families.
        I dare anyone to see the video of this movie and if if you don’t agree that this is the best American Poem ever written for the screen….
        The fact that it did not win the BEST PICTURE OSCAR is a slap to the face of African American female actors that gave the movie its depth, character and poetry-in-motion effect.
        One of the characters actually reminded me of Hillary’s own strength, resilience and fighting spirit agaisnt all odds….
        Obama’s pitiful weakling, deviously pathetic whining little character was right there, too…
        An amazing film indeed!
    Okay, was yesterday officially BHO’s ‘Worst Day Ever’?
    In no particular order…
    1) The McCain campaign releases the lovely photo of the three Alaskan officials who started the ‘troopergate’ farce in a nice family photo at Obama Headquarters in Anchorage (this is what happens when you get your news leads from Kos)
    2) Joe “oh my god I am SOOO drunk” Biden says that if Palin really cared about special needs kids, she wouldn’t oppose stem cell research (OUCH!)
    3) Joe “osh my goshly I’m shoooooooooo drunk” Biden says Palin’s VP ascendancy is a ‘step backwards for women’ (oh for the love of god…)
    4) BHO calls Sarah a pig! (no further message required)
    5) Bill Burton (how on EARTH does this dude still have a freaking job????) questions McCain’s honor. (WHAT??????)
    Discuss…
    Take care,
    Patrick
      Is thsi Obama’s Macaca Moment?
  • S. Markom
    Excellent post.
  • Sassy
    When the chips are down, and our country’s security may be on the line, we don’t need a novice who has lost a sizeable portion of his own party!
  • DancingOpossum
    And once again, as Joe kept saying t his mornign, the Dems refuse to fight. Can you imagine how the Repugs would have responded? Probably with some really funny, barbed quip that would make everyone laugh and forget it ever happened. THAT is what they do. The Democrats, on the other hand, just whine and complain and say “we’re not going to dignify that.” Or my favorite, “the voters are smarter than that.” Well sorry but you’re talking about the voters who gave us Dubya–TWICE! They ain’t that goldanged smart!! The smart ones are the Republicans who know how to appeal to peoples’ worst natures and most base instincts–they have the mob mentality down pat. Yeah, it’s rotten and it’s low but GUESS WHAT? It wins elections.
    Joe Scar this morning also pointed out that the ONLY Democrat who ever fought back as hard and nasty as the Republicans was–guess who?–BILL CLINTON. Duh. That’s two-term Democratic president Bill Clinton.
    ARRGGGGH. Can we please have Hillary back??
  • margarita
    Grace and competence under pressure…this topic reminds me this morning how much better it would have been to have Hillary in this race. She absolutely could do the job.
    DNC, worst party leadership EVER.
  • Lark
    The resulting paralysis
    Barack’s constant flip-flops are extremely dangerous in a President. He may decide to do something one day and then regret it the next day. It would drive the Administration to a halt and paralyze it. It would paralyze Congress. It would paralyze the world economy.
    Look at his campaign today. His flip-flops has it completely paralyzed. Michelle is paralyzed, Biden paralyzed.
    With this condition, is only one step away to Bi-Polar disorder. It can happen any time.
    Obama’s medical records need to be made public before continuing with the rest of this campaign.
  • gotalife
    Come on Larry.
    Palin is the anti Hillary and a political coward scared of the media on her plane.
    Get real.
    I do think w lost his sanity in that classroom and McCain admitted being broken as a pow.
    Lets discuss if McCain is insane and should never be close to the button.
    We all know he will want more wars and probably a draft.
    Country first?
    That is the most laughable bs of this cycle.
    Country first is not rewarding the gop for more disasters.
    • Mr. Natural
      November 5th.
      That’s when Obama starts handing out the grape koolaid.
    • Karma
      She is probably doing her homework for the upcoming debates with Biden.
      Which is smart and more than I can say for Obama and his various debate appearances.
      However, she has something that both Obama and Biden lack. Authenticity. It will carry her further than their lame attacks.
      Maybe you didn’t hear but Charlie Gibson is going to have access to her for two days as she flies back to Alaska to send her son off to Iraq. Unlike Obama, Charlie likes women. He will be tough but fair in my hopeful opinion. Which is all I could ask of any journalist.
  • kcfromtx
    November 5 will be his worst day ever.
  • waldenpond
    I felt he lost it during the primary back in early March. After a failed series of debates he hid. After tough interviews he limited his media exposure. He couldn’t compete. He was losing it against Clinton and he knew it and his reflex was to pull back and hide, then lash out which showed a lot about his character (he’s like my 16 year old).
    I am watching him right now, with his arms crossed looking unhappy about having to explain ‘pig’ talking about a code of conduct at school and shouldn’t members of congress have the same… WTF??
    He never got in together since. He makes gaffes that show his character and never recovers.
    He’s lashed out again yesterday. The Obama campaign can’t get past the primary.
    Made up controversy and his audience laugh again. They get a kick out of him making digs.
    Ha! he’s blaming the media. Pig!
  • Mercedes
    This assessment of Obama is really too generous.
    Obama is a graceless, souless, spineless lying puppet.
    • Andy
      Lying puppet indeed: on O’Reilly he refered to his relationships with Wright and Ayers as “tangential”.
      How could he keep a staright face I have no idea. It’s shameful….
  • typical.white.person
    So, Obama just said sexism isn’t a real problem.
    • lark
      “Hold me accountable for what I say”
      Women should squash that in his face. Women in his campaign. Hillary too.
  • http://hickeysite.blogspot.com Pat Hickey
    When Obama does have a confrontation or an adverse situation – he lies or blames someone else. That works in a Law Firm or University but not in the World.
    Too many people think that Obama passes Veuve Clicquot and poops Oberweiss Strawberry Slow Churn.
    He is a nice enough person – I wouldn’t hang with him, because he seemed like kind of a stiff a nd a dweeb when I met him. If he could stomach being on a board with a louse like Ayers, let alone be in the sam room with him – he is a dweeb.
  • Hank
    Make me understand this, but why does BO have to look at his podium and read that “He is a proud American”. WTF?
  • http://IthinkIfeel... Tricia Spiegel
    This is pretty scary. I am a “Resume Democrat” and Obama doesn’t really have one.
  • fluffy bunny
    Rick Warren’s interview should have been extremely easy for Obama. Warren and Obama have been friends or friendly acquaintances for a couple of years at least. Warren was ready to help his friend win over religious conservatives … and Obama showed up completely unprepared after a week of vacation.
    If that’s how Obama treats his friends, imagine how he’ll treat his enemies…and I’m not talking about Putin here.
  • Andy
    Great post Larry: right on target. I couldn’t agree more vis a vis Obama & GW Bush similarities as executives under pressure. It’s worrying.
    I do not recall either HRC ever crumbling under pressure: au contraire : she was focused, clear headed and got better and sharper by the day.
  • http://noratings.blogspot.com/ Bud White
    Very interesting post. Obama does seem to be under emotional strain. Hillary would just keep on fighting. At this point, I would trust Palin during a terrorist attack more than Obama. She’s as cool as they come, Obama does seem insecure.
  • Mr.Murder
    Palin’s fallback item whent he teleprompter broke? Accusing Dems of putting Miranda Rights above security.
    Has she actually read the Constitution? Is she aware “all persons” are granted due process because when our country was founded many here were not citizens and we had huge immigrant populations?
    What was there when her teleprompter broke? Blame Dems for terrorists! The last time I checked, it appears Dubya, Colin, and Condi( black politicians who were supposed to be about change) were the people responsible for the TWO greatest intelligence failures in American history.
    The first failure was ignoring the August 6th PDB and six(or more) international allies warning us of something big coming just before 9-11.
    The other was a deliberately shaped lie from the OVP that the NSA and Sec. of State lied to America and the world about. That bright shininig lie led to the Iraq war…
    …and to think Colin has unofficially endorsed Barack.
    Someone remind Palin who exactly fucked all this stuff up. Use those words while you’re at it, because she appears to need more than a gentle reminder about her own party’s failures. The mote in thine eye, and all that….
    • Dan
      There is so much rancid bullshit in your post I don’t know where to start.
      For one thing, Colin Powell has NOT “unofficially endorsed” Barack Obama! As much as anyone else alive, Gen. Powell knows and understands the demands of the presidency and appreciates how lightweights who like to vote “present” rather than take a stand on an issue would be overwhelmed by it.
      Secondly, just because our intelligence services knew there was “something big” coming before 9/11 doesn’t mean that they knew enough to stop it. What would you have had them do? Shut down every school and airport in the western world? Station undercover agents outside every mosque in the land? Close every shopping mall? Kinda makes a mockery of your concern about the constitution, doesn’t it?
      As for the supposed “lies” that got us into Iraq, even you should be able to comprehend the fact that intelligence is sometimes faulty. That doesn’t automatically mean anyone lied. If I ask you what time is is and you guess “8:15″ when it’s actually 8:20, that doesn’t make you a liar. The fact is that we had exactly FOUR human intel sources insude Iraq following 9/11, thanks to the evisceration of our human intelligence capabilities by Bush 41 and Bill Clinton following the collapse of the Soviet Union. We had been 100% sure that we could get all the info we needed from electronic surveillance. Well, guess what? We were wrong.
      Bush made the decision to take out Saddam based on what not only George Tenet and the CIA, but also the KGB/FSB, the MI-6, the Mossad and every other intelligence agency in the world were telling him: Saddam is developing WMD. I think Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al can most definitely be faulted for the way they totally fucked up the first 3 1/2 years of the post-war occupation, but I don’t accept the premise that they deliberately lied just to get us into a war.
  • Dan
    Great analysis, Larry. Right on the money. Barack Obama is soft, timid and thoroughly untested in crisis. He’d make a great law school dean somewhere, but just like Jimmy Carter, he would be in totally (and dangerously) over his head as president.
  • Helen
    Larry, Is that true about the teleprompter failing? I heard about it right after the speech and then it was denied on the web. Any references? I would think it was true – she’s been in debates, public speaking before, and would have done her homework. When you work over a speech for a couple of hours with your speechwriter, you know what’s in there.
      I’ve always said, I don’t want another George Bush with his finger on the bomb button. McCain would react and react very well in a 9/11. Beware Mr. Terrorist! He will kill you quickly!
      I get a kick out of the press. They’ve created this monster by their biased reporting and now they don’t know how to control it with Palin! The votes that count don’t trust the press. Palin could get caught in video form shooting up drugs and people would say, “It’s that damn liberal press.” Everytime they attack she gets stronger without doing anything! Mr. MSNBC….it’s payday and we’re laughing at you! This is a power that you have no control over. I don’t even think McCain/Palin control it!
  • ybnormal
    LJ, you say Palin plowed on through when her teleprompter failed during her speech, while Obama was evasive to Rick Warren in a q/a debate. Interesting observation, but those are different venues.
    I would suggest, rather than conclude something today, we instead re-visit this perception after the upcoming Palin-Biden VP debate; or for that matter, any venue where Palin has to give on the spot answers to a questioner or interviewer.
    Note that in his 9/7/08 appearance on Meet the Press, Biden successfully yet politely showed his adpeptness at confounding Brokaw’s attempts to force Biden into a defensive position. Let’s see what happens when this is paired with Palin possibly resorting to a series of mantras, as she does in her speeches. While she appears to have some ability to think on her feet in a speech, is there any available footage of her ever debating anyone anywhere? Or what about live interviews?
    • TeakWoodKite
      Ybnormal; A link was post on NQ showing her debating for the Alaskan Gov. position with in the few weeks.
      • Arabella Trefoil
        Yup.
        Any who doubts that Sarah can hold her own should watch her in that debate. She can handle herself just fine.
      • karen for Clinton (sigh, McPalin now)
        There is a link to C-Span on a thread from yesterday.
        C-Span has several hours of debates for the Gubernatorial and she obviously did very well and knew everything thrown at her. She beat the incumbent and other candidate. She came across as sharp and genuine then as she does now.
  • Susan B.
    Very interesting and very scary about Soros. I always wondered who was pulling the strings where Obama is concerned. I wish this information could get out there and be front page news. Everyone should know about this. Obama did not just appear from nowhere 2 years ago, this has been in the planning for a long time, and he is the perfect puppet since by his own admission he never felt at home anywhere and is always looking for someone to mentor/sponsor/be his father/put him in authority so he could work out the unhappiness in his life. I fear Obama and his ties to these people more than I do a pro-life woman who can shoot a gun!
  • Jacques
    Mr. Johnson,
    the unprepared for abortion question incident is not his first.
    During the primary debates he was asked questions about Rezko and Ayers and he seemed dumbfounded, and ad-libbed answers. Why not be prepared for the obvious? I think it is cultural of sorts, on one side Obama and his cliques cannot fathom Obama ever faltering answering anything, on the other it is too destructive to their own faith in Obama to ever consider he had questionable ties.
  • AX10
    Sad.
  • DPinFlorida
    Nitpicking about a teleprompter is yet another illustration of how short-sighted Obama supporters have become. “Proving” these silly arguments does absolutely nothing to earn your guy more votes.
    Focus on real issues and positive ideas for a change, if you will.
