Canada Boosts McCain’s Poll Numbers: If You Support Palin, You Are White Trash

Annnnnnnnnnnnd Canada weighs in!

That’s right folks, you are all white trash. Somebody who isn’t even a citizen says so. Heather Mallick of CBC News. Does anybody here know who the hell she is? Ah well, we’ve got Hamas, Iran and North Korea’s comatosed Dear Leader endorsing Barack, so what’s a cranky Canadian going to hurt, right?

She’s a really classy lady too! See?:

I assume John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential partner in a fit of pique because the Republican money men refused to let him have the stuffed male shirt he really wanted. She added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote, the demographic that sullies America’s name inside and outside its borders yet has such a curious appeal for the right.

……snippity snip……

Really classy lady.

It’s possible that Republican men, sexual inadequates that they are, really believe that women will vote for a woman just because she’s a woman. They’re unfamiliar with our true natures. Do they think vaginas call out to each other in the jungle night? I mean, I know men have their secret meetings at which they pledge to do manly things, like being irresponsible with their semen and postponing household repairs with glue and used matches. Guys will be guys, obviously

Ooooooooo, you aren’t very happy with men are you, girl? Maybe it’s your personality, ya know?

Hey thanks. Um…….whomever the hell you are. We promise to give your input all the weight we think it deserves, mmmmmmkay?

I found this neat blogger who calls herself Pelalusa, Heather. She’s in Canada too. And she thinks you’re a real horse’s ass. But then, being right there in Canada, she knows you better than we do:

Heather Mallick: Liberal Elitist Trash

Just when one thought the personal attacks against Sarah Palin couldn’t get any worse, coming out of the taxpayer funded CBC we have the most vile one yet. If you can’t get through it without wanting to smash your computer monitor, then you can read a summary here:

…Sarah Palin … fit of pique … the white trash vote … sexual inadequates … she isn’t even female really … Alaska hillbilly … “white trash” … trailer trash … rural, loud, proudly unlettered … toned-down version of the porn actress … overtreated hair, puffy lips … “pramface” … roughneck fuckin’ redneck … prodding his daughter … ratboy … fizzing with rage and revenge … vicious and profoundly dishonest … good fast listing… nervous wreck with deeply strange hair … the hick vote … ordinary hillbilly … racism? … racism … “rectal fissure” … tense no-hoper ladies … white female marginals …

And all of this from one Heather Mallick, who would tell you with great conviction that she is an objective journalist and classy woman. Clearly neither is true. She’s the postergirl for what one might term as a “blueneck”.

Rut Roh, Heather! Looks like Pelalusa has your number! But I will give you one thing: I never actually saw the words “rectal fissure” in a serious article.

Hey Pelalusa! Do you know that Barack Obama thinks Canada has a President? Bright, isn’t he?

Gee Heather, you must be a blast at parties. Do you find that people ask you to come late so that they can get everybody to go home early? Just wondering.

ohhhhhh —— Cananda…………………keep your mouth shut!

• http://www.sugarnspice.typepad.com Sugar

Damn! Here I was thinking that I was a “sellout” but I’m really white trash!?

• bemused

Strange, I’m trying to write a scenario where Canada and the US become estranged. And I went and told my partner-in-gaming that I thought it was unlikely. Thanks for the fodder. I can definitely use Heather as a creep type.

• Fenelon spoke

Sounds like the Canadian version of a “shock” jock for papers. I just tune out anyone who calls people “white trash.”

• bemused

See how fluid the racial lines really are? ;) Makes you wonder what all the fuss is about.

• Sue

Unbelievable. I can’t believe how stupid these people actually are and it just keeps coming.

On a side note..Have any of you seen this video yet? It brought tears to my eyes (I hope it’s ok if I link to it).

My wife and I can’t stand that big fake Obambi. Never could and never will. We rooted for Hillary and we love Sarah Palin. We’re Canadian but would vote for McCain even though we have some policy differences.
Hey, ignore that Mallick. We can’t stand her up here either. Stupid knows no borders, eh?

• roseeriter

Maureen Dowd’s twin sister?

Canada has always been kind of a copy cat country..wonder why?

• Fenelon spoke

LOL; Sugar, and if don’t support the chosen one we’re all “stupid hicks from noweheresville who have no education and are dried up old hags.” And the LW militant Obama supporters wonder why people won’t vote for him?!!

I think Michael Moore should be their Prime Minister. Talk about white trash.

• Oh Canada

Dear Heather,
I was on the fence about McCain-Palin, but thanks to you, I’ve decided to vote for them. I really hope they win, if for no other reason than to see your head explode (betcha there’s nothin’ in it!)

Silly people, have we not learned that people, all people, do not like to be steriotyped and called names? Wasn’t that a lesson we began on the third grade playground? Is this rocket science or something?

Criminey, evolve already people.

Well, the reporter was right. For years, the GOP has conditioned people and exploited them for their own gain. If this “white trash” would wake up and witness their own raping by those that claim support them, they wouldn’t be mocked by others.

The problem is that the “white trash” vote may amount to what? 20%? 25%? The question is where are the remaining voters? More often than not, they simply refuse to vote.

In all of this, I’ve come to believe that the non-voter is actually the smarter voter.
Evening unknowingly, they are refusing to participate in the sham. Both parties are not even attempting to offer real choice. Sure, you basically get to decide which battlefield your neighbor’s kid gets maimed and killed on, but when it comes down to the raping of the taxpayer with ever increasing corporate bailouts, don’t hold your breath.

You are allowed choices on things that matter little, while being offered zero choice on those that do.

The problem, of course, is that instead of taking the high road, the Democrats is attempting to recreate the Republican game and attempt to modify it for the “left”. For example, one of the successes of the GOP strategy was to create an “echo chamber” that got mud into the mass media news cycle by first getting a major MSM outlet to quote an item of the Drudge Report.

The whole scam of “bipartisanship” is a game the GOP want Democrats to play because the GOP does not budge from its position. Now, I have to admit that Hillary wasn’t my first choice, or even second choice but she is a far, far, far superiour candidate to Obama. She at least knew where to draw the line.

For Obama, whatever Bush wanted, Bush got. Even McCain or Hillary didn’t go that far.

The “left”, seeing how effective that was, simply created their own starting block. At first, it was MoveOn but even they have now been eclipsed by the ‘tards at DailyKos. Note how not even Matt Drudge got as much airtime as Markos.

The more I view Obama from my comfortable CANADIAN perspective, the less daylight I see between Obama and McCain. I love hearing how Obamabots talk as if the world is in love with Obama. Almost everyone I know views Obama as a typical politician no different from the others. By the time I finish discussing Obama’s lurid legislative history of whoring for corporate interests … if they could vote, I’m sure they’d vote Nader.

As a Canadian, I fear Obama more. Obama is a disaster waiting to happen.

• RepublicanChick

Well, thank God. I know most of you, like myself, were losing sleep over what Canadians thought about OUR election.

Thanks for the article Uppity!

It’s possible that Republican men, sexual inadequates that they are,

I could get to the rest of the article if I wasn’t so busy laughing hysterically over this comment.

• yttik

I am a Democrat who will do anything it takes to block an Obama presidency, including voting for McCain/Palin. He’s got way too many issues and so does the Dem party.

My state was overwhelmingly dark blue, so I thought I had the luxury of voting third party. However, thanks to the Dems, my state may just become a funny shade of purple. Obama had a 17 point lead that has now slipped down to four. Never in my wildest imagings would I have considered the possibility of this becoming a swing state. I do now. Thanks Obama, 18 yrs of coloring this state blue is slipping down the tubes.

• TampaVoter

How embarassing!

Truth is there are a lot of us Americans in Canada. I am in Canada and unfortunately this post came up just as I was watching CTV talking about how the NDP leader is running ads linking the Prime Minister with Bush! There is also an election here and It looks like the Conservative PM is going to win again and some Liberals are freaking out – just like the Dems, they chose a dud for leader of the Liberal Party.

You know what amazes me is why the other countries in the world want us to put this weak, inexperienced, unpatriotic candidate as the leader of our country?

Second, why they are talking now like it is going to persuade AMERICANS on who to vote for?

Didn’t they get it from his speech in front of 200,000 people in Berlin Germany that we are not persuaded by his fluff?

Apparently not.

The bottom line is that we cannot in the first presidential election after 9/11 elect a man who spent 20 years in a church where “god damn america” and “americas chickens coming home to roost” were common place.

We cannot elect a man who associates so closely with Bill Ayers, a man who is a unrepentent bomber of american buildings.

We cannot elect a man whos wife is proud of America for the first time in her adult life. What she was not proud of America on Sept 11 2001 ?

We cannot elect a man whos rise to power, was fueled in large part by rich muslim leaders.

We simply cannot elect Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

They said we would never forget 9/11, but with almost 50% of americans supporting Barack HUSSEIN Obama, I am afraid we have …

• Rev. Wright, can you fix my garlic nose?

I had a Canadian friend who overstayed her work visa and had to keep sneaking back and forth across the border. She trash-talked the USA all day long, yet she was on a mission to marry an American guy in order to gain US citizenship.

No American guy took the bait, last I heard she was on her way to Australia to get herself an Aussie.

• ybnormal

Welcom to the election year of the nobody candidates. Whenever there’s an information vacuum, it always gets filled with something, like water seeking it’s own level.

When actual facts are absent, characterization pinch hits. It’s a natural by-product. The most remarkable epiphany I’ve had this year: I originally thought that if only enough people could become informed of Obama’s inexperience and unqualifications, he’d be toast. The reality was that people began saying out loud that his inexperience is somehow an advantage – some nonsense about not being a participant in the current failed inside politics. The result was he was toast alright, served with a champagne mamosa.

Now McCain out-Obamas – Obama, by picking Palin. The result for large numbers of voters this year, like many other years, is that facts matter less, and image is everything. The difference this year is that many voters not only know it, but wear it as a badge of honor.

Of course, we could always vote for Ralph Nader or Bob Barr, but what’s the point?

We’re now about to select the next president/vp of the most powerful country in the world, based on qualifications we typically see in date-matching websites.

• larryfan

I’m not white, but I am alittle trashy…either way I have always been proud of my country and is very proud to see a woman as accomplished as Palin on a Vice Presidential Ticket.

Bitter sweet that is isn’t Hillary but very happy that Palin has gotten under the skin of soetoro and all his supporters.

• Patrick Walker

Well, what the Democrats have traditionally done is appeal to the voter on a logical level. As Paul Waldman said Democrats usually say “If you read my ten point plan, you’ll agree that it’s a superior plan.” And it almost always was and the true high ground. “Was” now is operative word because the Democrats have continually shifted rightward to court the “centre”.

I still think labelling Obama a “Marxist” is playing into the GOP strategy of making their base fearful of a crazed black man on the fringe of the left; I think Obama was always a corporate whore, he just played a progressive on TV and suckering in a lot of people that quite frankly should know better. To me, Obama supporters have been as stupid as the “white trash” they seem to now want to bash. Anytime someone makes fun of the mindlessness of the “right”, I just have to interject “Pot? Kettle on line 2.”

Again, these “liberals” should just know better. But their desire to win at all costs is eerily GOP-like.

The GOP knew they couldn’t peddle their agenda so they coopted the Religous Right as a front to drive a pro-corporate agenda. It’s become clearly evident that religious right has been a willing participant in this scam.

What the GOP has done is run on character. Best example was Bush in 2000. Bush was a scumbag and said he was as soon as he put his name in but in the end the GOP ran on Bush as a strong character that could make up for his … I can’t even say experience because Bush has been a disaster for everything he’s ever touched…

• No Obama for me

• hootnannie

How intelligent can anyone be who thinks that, if you insult someone, that person will do whatever you want? The saying “You catch more flies with sugar (or honey) than vinegar” probably goes back quite a ways. I’ll say it again: these Obamaniacs are in slash-and-burn mode. They’re floundering in political death throes, lashing out desperately at their conquerors or flatly mouthing words in funereal tones. You can hear it in the subdued voices of the more sedate commentators on CNN and MSNBC and in the hysterics of those less sedate. I hear them only in brief surfing, so it must be ubiquitous among their ilk. They used to sound like overly excited birds chirping, “Barack Obama, Barack Obama!” I’ll bet the internal polls tell a different story than what’s being announced. The left doesn’t want to admit impending doom, and the right doesn’t want to depress voter turnout. The Obamaniac callers have even fallen off sharply on CSPAN’s Washington Journal in the last few days, and they had been calling in on every line, claiming to be McCain supporters and then lauding Obama, etc. I feel quite sure that these people KNOW that BO’s pig/fish remarks were a deadly mistake, that he’s hemmorrhaging white female voters, and that it can only get worse from here.

I actually had
by shoulin4 on Wed Sep 10, 2008 at 09:15:17 PM EDT

the very thought today. What if McCain wins and then something happens and then Palin is president? It was at that moment that I had a
thought that I would have never, ever, imagine thinking: I think, at the point that Palin effectively becomes president, I’d be wishing for some divine intervention to allow Dubya to run again and boot her out. It was the most horrible thought I had ever had, but it was at that point that I realized that a McCain, and quite possibly Palin, presidency would be far worse doom for America than even an actual third term of Bush. I’d actually rather have another term of Bush then have even the thought of a McCain/Palin presidency. It was at that time that I nearly stopped in my tracks and cried, but
then consoled myself with the thought of how happy I’d be if this were the year 3000 and Richard Nixon’s head was president of Earth . . .
ahhh, bring on the endorphins to mask my trauma . . .

I received this email yesterday

“Hi Folks…facts are facts!!
This will make you think a little, if not
then keep your blinders on!”

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2
years. The first six the economy was fine.

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high–14,000 +
5) American’s were buying new cars,takingcruises, vacations o’seas, living large!…

But American’s wanted ‘CHANGE’! So, in
2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress &
yep — we got ‘CHANGE’ all right.
In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ;
2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon &climbing !;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity
drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclos ure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another
low~~11,100–
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM
THEIR STOCKS BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS
INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!!

YEP , IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!…AND WE SURE AS HECK GOT IT!!!….NOW OBAMA, THE DEM’S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT–AND THE POLLS SAY HE’S GONNA BE ‘THE MAN’–CLAIMS HE’S GONNA REALLY GIVE U S CHANGE!!….

JUST HOW MUCH MORE ‘CHANGE’ DO YA THINK
YOU CAN STAND???…..

Don’t Let America become an Obamanation……..
Vote for John McCain!

• Dr. Kate

lol! Perfect!

do you take special orders for parmesan cheese on my popcorn? And will you serve bubbly with that??? :-)

• McHope

Yes, inside and out.
Everyone should take the opportunity to contact her with their opinion.

Just another vile creature that is attracted to Obama. He truly brings out the worst. I have never seen anything like it.

• Docelder

The Russian bombers are landing in Venezuela already. Could this boldness be based on Obama’s belief… going by what he would say about America to a 7 year old girl… that we really aren’t much of a great nation anymore? And add to that despite what Obama thinks… our celebrity “ambassadors” to the world… face it, what the world thinks they know about us… is largely based on what they get from our celebrity “ambassadors” to the world… the consensus seems to be unanimous. This man, apart from being in way above his pay scale… is dangerous to the literal stability of the world as we now know it… Period.

Yesterday I saw one of the MSM morning show hosts standing on a big US electoral map, most of it was red. He had a guy from New Republic with him prognosticating about which one red state would go blue. They were salivating over Colorado, I believe.

I was chuckling, thinking: you guys need to focus on which of the blue states are going red.
e.g. PA.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-bolivia11-2008sep11,0,5513215.story?track=rss

I like how getting caught funnelling 13.3 million US dollars into Morales’ opponents is not considered interference.

So, before you go off and say American elections cannot be criticized, the American public should demand that it’s very own government be unable to use US tax dollars to undermine elections abroad.

• wodiej

thanks for posting…..

Clarification, Conservative members of Government were told to stay away when John McCain came to Ottawa to not be seen as partisan in the US election, especially after the PMO chiefof staff leaked that Obama’s team had told Canada ont to worry aout what he had to say on NAFTA. They all wanted to go, but they couldn’t.

• Rev. Wright, can you fix my garlic nose?

Canada has sent us some fantastic comedians, but the political commentary from your country smacks of : “we want to be with the kewl people”.

I think this Heather lady is trying really hard to be kewl.

an aside: I have Canadian cousins, before I was in my mid teens I’d been to Niagara Falls half a dozen times. Ottawa is beautiful, Montreal is fun, but we can run our own elections, thanks.

Eh? ;-)

And she has a quote by Doris Lessing, who said, after winning her Nobel Prize:

“If one goes back over the history of the IRA, what happened to the Americans wasn’t that terrible… Many people died, two prominent buildings fell, but it was neither as terrible nor as extraordinary as [Americans] think.”

Today we remember.

By the way, I’m a capitol L Liberal who has always liked John McCain, was routing for McCain and Hillary in the primaries and is exstatic that Mccain picked Sarah Palin. I’ve been blogging for her pick since the DNC awarded the nomination to Obama.

I don’t have to agree with her on every issue to support and admire her. Women who call themselves feminists who are attacking her disgust me. They are making me sick to my stomach in their vitriole and backward attacks.

I support all women’s choices and that includes the choice to be religious, to have children, to stay home or not stay home, to be governor and have children and to be VPOTUS. Women who don’t support this woman and attack her are not feminists, they are just sexist pigs with lipstick.

I’ll be letting Ms. Malik know how I feel about her comments.

You are absolutely right about this topic and I couldn’t agree more. I don’t believe that any country should stick it’s damn nose, or money, into the elections of other countries.

You commenting on a blog hardly rises to that degree, so I would think that being open minded people we would not mind having a conversation with someone from Canada.

And attacking Canada for the comments of one silly woman who’s opinion is of less importance than some-one’s last bowel movement is not rational. Let’s save our insults for the O-bot Trolls, shall we?

• SJ

Why is it that so many people who cannot vote in this election and are living in other countries seem to act as if they know exactly who should be President of the USA.

Its amazing that so many form outside keep telling Americans that Obama has to get it, they must all have big plans for America .

• http://www.stillstacy.com Stacy The Republican

Yea, my beloved state and it’s whopping 9 electoral votes. Pleez. We went red in 2000 and 2004, it will happen again. So much of the polling done is in the Metro Denver and Boulder areas. They seem to forget about the rest of the state. It’s very conservative.

• Pink Panther

Uppity,
I, like other Hillary supporters who are now behind McCain/Palin, are confident enough in ourselves to laugh at propaganda when we read it.

Many of us are better educated, better read, better traveled, etc. than Obama. The difference is we are confident in our decisions, do not flip-flop when making decisions, do not have 300 advisors telling us how to make decisions, and had to become successful on our own.

We are the people being called “white trash” by those who support a candidate:

that is backed by radical terrorists,
has voted for oil and energy companies,
has flip-flopped on important issues to get votes, and
that endorses sexism, racism and hatred to win an election.

Seems like the definition of “white trash” has flip flopped, just like Obama’s positions on major issues.

Nothing like waking up to see this crap — all these rouge nations and people that hate Americans want Obama for President. Hmmmm, gotta make you wonder why and what he has in common with all of them.

Pride in my country is a very big reason why I am supporting McCain & Palin and the more these 3rd world countries put us the down the stronger my vote becomes. I suspect any American who is proud of tour country is feeling the same way.

And especially today. F*uck Canada and ever other country that wants to get invoived in our election. Keep pissing us off, McCain needs more of a lead in the election.

Isn’t that the evil Bushco that’s guilty of that?

I am deeply embarrassed by this vile tantrum from someone I don’t know literally or someone I would recognize as my own.

We generally are a polite bunch, so all I can say is that she probably belongs to that ilk that follow Obama who is deeply threatened by the skill, courage, and determination of Sarah Palin. The vexing abberration is that despite being a journalist, she has yet to learn the rules of competence as a human being.

Jeralyn defends criminals for a living. To do that and still feel you have a moral standing (when one knows that some of those criminals have to be guilty as sin) means some serious mental contortions are necessary. And she decided she’d defend the Democratic party, so she has had to become them. Too bad for her, she’s now down there with Taylor Marsh. Kos is a dear friend of hers too.

re:comment from Heather Mallick of CBC News.

Just so you know, we here in Canada suffer from the same hijacking of the liberal movement by the far left as you do. We also suffer from a biased media leaning in the same direction. We have a strong tradition of Conservative Government. In fact we have a minority conservative government in power who
will soon become a majority government. Yet more proof that our media is completely out of touch with the people. A good, strong, noble people, who are
comforted by the thought of having a good, strong, noble people just to the south of us.

That said, not all Canadians are drunk from the Obama Koolaid. Not all of us allow the MSM to spoon feed us political news. Not all of us feel it is our place to endorse one candidate over another in your election.

I am grateful for sites like yours, PUMA and Fox News for opening the eyes of so many of us, and proud to call America my neighbor.

Best wishes and continued power to you.

Let’s tally it all up here….so if you don’t support Obama you are automatically: 1) a racist 2)white trash 3)bitter 4)clinging to your guns and religion 5)ready to say oink-oink while wearing lipstick?

Obama supporters (apparently canadians included) have mastered the art of alienating people! Keep it up Obamabots…you’re doing your share to help him lose this election.

They have evolved; it’s the new, politically correct bigotry. Poor white people are now the carriers of everything we’d like to deny about ourselves. The latte blue think the people of the world are wonderful and perfect. Only the native poor whites are susceptible to ignorance, hate, greed and tribalism. Funny how it would be obvious bigotry to say that all poor blacks are crackheads, but the same “enlightened” people have no problem making the same racial stereotypes about poor whites.

• Rev. Wright, can you fix my garlic nose?

When the skyline of our country’s major city is dramatically changed by a terrorist attack, it is an extraordinary event.

When passengers on a plane, going about their business – have to mobilize and make a choice between crashing to their death on the ground below, or crashing to their death at the nation’s
Capitol, or attempting a takeover of the plane itself, that is terrible.

When an airplane commandeered by hijackers who have slit the pilot’s throat slams into our nation’s military command center, that is extraordinary and terrible.

We do remember.

• Hope Floats

I’m googling her right now. She has her own problems with racism, as she is a regular contributor to jihadwatch.org and goes on a bit about “dhimmis.” What a face, too. It looks like the blunt end of a shovel with Michelle Obama’s scoop mouth on top of it. And she dresses like a Wal-Mart shopper herself, dressing up jewel-tone sweater sets with fake pearls. She once bragged she could write her universally-panned style columns for the Globe in 7 minutes, and it shows. Seriously, in all ways, she is the white Michelle Obama. And she’s from a small town in Northern Canada – plenty of trash up there, and doesn’t her mouth just giver her away? She is well-known for her nastiness and not well-liked. She left the Globe in a huff over an article on Noam Chomsky. Nobody missed her at all.

• Hope Floats

HOLY SHIT THIS LADY IS BATSHIT CRAZY! I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW SHE’D GET PUBLISHED IN A HIGH SCHOOL PAPER.

If a dolphin were human, it would be that cute kid in the class who always takes care of the slow learners and doesn’t laugh at facial deformities, the one who was born with confidence and good looks and doesn’t abuse the privilege. The Americans took that kid, distorted his brain and instincts, and gave him a gun. Now dolphins do the bidding of a giant military organization so despised that even its own citizens stay well away.

Does this remind you of anyone? Yes, Canada is America’s dolphin. I was going to make a suggestion to dolphins kidnapped by the American military. What? Oh, I was going to head out to Wickaninnish in B.C. and paddle the shores, calling out, as in The Day of the Dolphin, “Ma loves Fa. Canada respects peace-loving American deserters. Slip off your harness and stay a while.”

I have it on good authority that she’s not only a hack but also a silly, falling-down drunk who embarrasses herself at every cocktail party. The problem with Canadian journalists and, in Heather’s case, pundita wannabes, is that they’re too lazy to dig deep enough to get at the truth. They simply parrot what the ridiculous Dowd’s and Olbermann’s and (insert idiot media hack name here)’s are spouting.

In Canada, there are not two but 5 political parties. Do you know what they are?

1. Conservatives (progressive and regressive)
2. Liberals
3. New Democratic Party (social democratic)
4. Bloc Quebecois (French Canadian)
5. Green Party

Usually either the Conservatives or LIberals rule adn when we have a Minority things get done like Universal Health Care passed in 1965 thanks to the efforts of the New Democratic Party.

The party least interested in women’s issues and the one that most disrespects children’s issues, by failing to pass the Liberal’s Child Care Act 2 years ago, is the current Conserative (neanderthals!)

I would say Heather represents the New Democratic or Obama-like Party in Canada…the one that never gets enough votes to become a governing party like the LIberals or Conservatives!

So, please, don’t think that Heath Malick represents the “Canadian perspective”! Canadians as a rule debate every issue to death and try to be fair in their political views. For example, they love American’s influence culturally and in every other way except one–foreign policy where their views are more internationalist and “neutral” as they believe more involvement by U.N. and don’t forget Canada is the country that has official MULTICULTURALISM as the demographic makeup is quite diverse. The deciding factor for many of us who call Canada home was its political TOLERANCE and non-judgmentalism!

The major cause for bankruptcies in Canada has never been “medical bills” as the Universal health care plan covers everyone and makes the country more likely to get investment from abroad in the form of automakers, factories, manufacturing plants, etc. as its workforce is subsidized by the government. And it’s very efficiently run since l965.

Also since 1982, WOMEN’S EQUAL RIGHTS have been constitutionally entrenced in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. And women exercise a dynamic voice in politics. The progressive yet conservative Green Party leader, the spunky Elizabeth May is a fast-growing star in Ottawa

So, don’t pay too much attention to Heather! She may be an American draft dodger (there are a few now at the Immigration and Refugee Board pending!) who’s applied for a job with Obama’s Pig Lipstick Campaign!

From my point of view the exDemocratic Party blew it by standing SILENT during the despicable HIllary-bashing by the misogynist media frat-boys of CNN and MSNBC. Hillary fought with one hand tied to her back while being assaulted by her own party!
Obama does not deserve to win, if only for this reason and for his own camouflaged Sexism displayed with his “midfinger flip-off”, dusting off, and his numerous remarks like “periodically, Hillary feels down and launches attacks to boost her appeal”.
We saw it all and were disgusted.

McCain should be congratulated for having the guts and gambler’s instict to instal Palin as his V-P. She will at least change the face of politics, even though her social views are quite conservative.
I have faith that she will work across with women in the Democratic party to sort things out.
In Canada the women from 3 of the parties have formed an informal coalition to push through the Child Care plan….

Dear Heather,
I was on the fence about McCain-Palin, but thanks to you, I’ve decided to vote for them. I really hope they win, if for no other reason than to see your head explode (betcha there’s nothin’ in it!)
-Oh

Are you serious?! “I am going to vote for McCain because somebody said something mean about his VP candidate and supporters.” This is the kind of voting logic that drives democrats crazy. Please, vote for the candidate that will best address the issues that are important to this country and world we live in. (If you believe that to be McCain, by all means vote for him.)

• Juanita

Hey Heather, I guess I must be white trash,a hillbilly or a redneck because I am voting for Mccain and Palin. She has more class in her little finger than you have in your whole body. I bet your vile, vulgar mouth must really make your momma proud.

Ugly, ugly bitch…

• Jimmy Durden

Really, white trash? If so, then I guess Obama is voting for McCain too, After all, his mother was definately white trash. For Obama to say he is racist makes him a liar. He stated that his grandmother made remarks about black people and that she was a “typical white person”. Would that make him the “typical black person”? I can honestly say my vote is not based on gender or race. I am in it for me. Really, aren’t we all. Does any of us want to be just treated mediocre, have a mediocre job, less than poverty level pay. No, we want the best for us. We want good for ourselves before a neighbor. We want the best for ourselves before we would settle for being equal to others. No one gives half their wealth to others. They may give some but not all and not enough for it to be noticed later.
Now, let’s talk about the idiot that made these comments about Sarah Padin and every American that votes. Every American. She doesn’t know who is supporting McCain/Padin and she didn’t say “all whites voting for McCain/Padin is white trash”, she said “all the people supporting McCain/Palin are white trash”. And then, how does she know who is a McCain/Palin supporter? She must have done a lot of research or maybe a lot of republican men to know that “sexual inadequates”. So, who is the white trash porn star? Oh, she isn’t in porn, just sex research. I am sure with the vulgar language she speaks that she is in amateur porn for her own collection.

Please people we as American voters are smarter than what she thinks.

Vote for the one that is for the Hard workers and self-employed. You earn your money, you pay your way, you are the one standing in the grocery check out line waiting for the non-working welfare receiver to pay for the food you can’t afford with the money you worked for. And, as for the welfare recipient that is reading this in the privacy of their own home (I am sure the workers are paying for), well you need to get a job and earn your way. Turn off you enternet, you can’t afford and get a job. There are jobs out there, find it.
