Cyber crooks set email trap with bogus Obama sex video

Cyber crooks are trying to cash in on fascination with the US presidential race by sending trick email promising a sex video starring candidate Barack Obama, according to Sophos computer security firm.

Email recipients gullible enough to click on an enclosed link get to see a seemingly homemade sex video that doesn’t feature the presidential contender but does secretly install malicious software on people’s PC.

Obama mocks McCain as computer illiterate

“Today is the first day of the rest of the campaign,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe says in a campaign strategy memo. “We will respond with speed and ferocity to John McCain’s attacks and we will take the fight to him, but we will do it on the big issues that matter to the American people.”
The newest ad showcasing their hard line includes unflattering footage of McCain at a hearing in the early ’80s, wearing giant glasses and an out-of-style suit, interspersed with shots of a disco ball, a clunky phone, an outdated computer and a Rubix Cube.
The campaign was heartened that Virginia media focused instead on Obama’s planned message of reforming schools and drawing contrasts with McCain over education policy. Aides say Obama will continue to highlight differences on issues – like tax policy during a visit to New Hampshire Friday – with the constant theme that Obama will bring change while McCain is no different than Bush.*

”In 1999 Obama supported and voted for legislation (HB2660) allowing Illinois’ Governor Blagojevich to pay the state and teachers pension obligations, by issuing $10 billions dollars in state bonds backed by the pension plans. The bill, designed to free up money to balance the state budget, was paramount to robbing Peter to pay Paul. The bill’s own supporters estimated that the bond issue would end up costing the state $23 billion dollars (assuming the State met future funding obligations, which it has not) and would set the stage allowing Illinois’ Governor to divert billions of dollars from state pension plans in subsequent years. Obama also voted to end $300 million worth of tax breaks for Illinois businesses and raise more that 300 different taxes and fees on those businesses. Ironically, after supporting Governor Blagojevich’s $2 billion dollars in increased spending, the State still suffered it’s second largest deficit since 1980.

I will remind you of one thing, Barack Obama is the byproduct of a well-known Chicago political machine; a political machine that has been mired in corruption and scandal throughout its history. This same political machine that runs all three branches of Illinois government is responsible for the election of Illinois’ governor, Rod Blagojevich; a governor that ran on a platform essentially the same as that of his supporter & friend Obama. Like Obama, Blagojevich promised to unite Illinois, end corruption and abuse of executive powers, balance the state’s budget and expand social programming. 6 years later we have a Governor that has spent the State into virtual bankruptcy, robbing State sponsored pension plans of billions; attempting to sell off the State’s Lottery system and bonding authority; diverting millions of dollars from State Agricultural programs and the State’s Transportation Funds; diverting billions of dollars in funds earmarked for the State’s Medicaid program, forcing Medicaid Reimbursement to be not months, but years behind; all to fund his overblown populist social programs. Blagojevich has raised professional and business fees across the board, most recently attempting to institute a gross receipts sales tax that would have destroyed small businesses. Under his leadership the State has seen a mass exodus of health care professionals and the destruction of interstate commerce. Blagojevich, like Obama, has strong ties with corrupt and dubious figures such as Tony Rezko. He has not only failed to end partisanship in Illinois, but has actually succeeded in splitting the Illinois Democratic party. Blagojevich has abused his executive power at every turn, most recently suing his Democratic colleague, the Secretary of State, to force a radical expansion of the State’s health care programs; an expansion that the Democratic State Legislature directly rejected in last years record-breaking year long legislative session. A governor, that today, is rarely seen in public, won’t take interviews in the press, and who now faces a bipartisan effort in the legislature to institute recall election protocol like that of California.

Obama, like Blagojevich, is a product of the same corrupt Chicago political machine, preaching unification, while dividing their own party and constituents.”
