“Jesus Was a Community Organizer, Pontius Pilate a Governor”

From Jake Tapper’s Political Punch story at ABC News, “Obama-Backing Congressman: ‘Jesus Was a Community Organizer, Pontius Pilate a Governor’“:
I saw this clip last night on the news, and was flabbergasted. Is it any wonder — with Democrats talking like this — that McCain is holding steady in the daily Gallup tracking numbers, 48% to 44%?
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., has an extreme case of foot-inserted-in-mouth syndrome. He was last seen, reports Tapper, “in election 2008 comparing Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., to the villain played by Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction".
Tapper notes, with irony, that Rep. Cohen “survived an anti-Semitic primary challenge.”
Perhaps Rep. Cohen needs to read the part of the Bible about “do unto others. …”
