“Jesus Was a Community Organizer, Pontius Pilate a Governor”

From Jake Tapper’s Political Punch story at ABC News, “Obama-Backing Congressman: ‘Jesus Was a Community Organizer, Pontius Pilate a Governor’“:

I saw this clip last night on the news, and was flabbergasted. Is it any wonder — with Democrats talking like this — that McCain is holding steady in the daily Gallup tracking numbers, 48% to 44%?

Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., has an extreme case of foot-inserted-in-mouth syndrome. He was last seen, reports Tapper, “in election 2008 comparing Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., to the villain played by Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction".

Tapper notes, with irony, that Rep. Cohen “survived an anti-Semitic primary challenge.”

Perhaps Rep. Cohen needs to read the part of the Bible about “do unto others. …”

Yes, the Demagogic Party’s top down control. Use the grassroots as your free networking of the Campaign’s chosen messages and messaging.

We receive 3 of these emails at one time. From the NE…to Ohio to NM on cue.

“Let us all stipulate that John McCain did get shot down and was a prisoner of war for several years, and we are all sorry for that. However, if that is all he has ever accomplished (i.e. being a victim) do we really want him as president? Just as someone once said that every one of Giulani’s sentences has three parts, a subject, a verb, and 9/11, it seems as if every one of McCain’s sentences has a subject, a verb, and his POW status.

    Remember this:
    Jesus was a community organizer
    Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

    MY REPLY:

lol Thats a pretty bad false comparison. John McCain is a Veteran and former Prisoner of War in addition to everything else he has accomplished, not only. I realize Obama doesn’t have a record of accomplshments, but to try and not discuss McCains for his lack of doesn’t exactly make it reality.

    Hope you’re doing well.

    Wow, what a dope.

Whoever maintains that Jesus was a community organizer needs to re-read the Gospels. Didn’t he say something (when being deceived by the Pharasees) about rendering unto Caesar things that are of Caesar. Also, remember the alabaster vessel of fragrant oil that was used to annoint the Christ (by Mary Magdalene)? When Judas (someone much more like the false Christ/former community organizer — the Obamessiah) complained that it could have been used to get money to give to the poor, Jesus made that comment about the poor always being with us.

(I think they are also unfairly ascribing evil to Pontius Pilate, the procurator of Jerusalem. Recall that he was pushed by local authorities to condemn Jesus to death by crucifiction. This makes Pilate one of the most ambiguous characters in the Bible because it is difficult to describe him as an evil agent — it is more accurate to say that he was an instrument of evil.

Mikhail Bulgakov wrote his masterpiece novel — The Master and Margarita — on this philosophical topic/dilemma.)

The Religious Lynching Of Sarah Palin

Rev. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, Supporter of Barack Hussein Obama

Palin: Is She Subject to Her Husband?

“Wives be subject to your husbands, as unto the Lord.” So says the Christian scriptures in Ephesians, 5:22. What I would like to know, first of all, is who is going to have the final authority as Vice-President if Sarah Palin is elected, Palin or her husband? In fact, I think the first order of business with Palin is to ask her to give the same kind of speech that was demanded of John F. Kennedy re his Catholicism. Kennedy said he would obey the Constitution over the Pope. Will Palin obey the Constitution over her husband?

Then it was rolled out and tested by Donkey Brazilla on Race to the WHite House to see if anyone would object.

Once they were sure that it wasn’t going to get jumped on by the in the tank media they are now rolling it out amoung the bought and paid for super delegates.

They are trying to in some bizarre rational undermine Palin with evangelicals and religious christians/catholics by inferring that since Pontius Pilate ordered the cricifixion of Christ, who they tie to jesus through community organizing, Governors are evil people and therefore Palin is somehow responsible for the death of Jesus.

Its beyond bizzare and shows just how far off the dee end the Democrats are willing to be led by the Hopey Dopey campaign of the Fauxmessiah.

Obama defenders use the definition of community organizer as someone who brings together a group of people to get the government to do something on their behalf.

And then, of course, todays next round of emails dispersed by Camp Obama.

…this one came from NH and NM

From: Quinn Latimer and Lyra Kilston New York, NY womensaynopalin@gmail.com

We are writing to you because of the fury and dread we have felt since the announcement of Sarah Palin as the Vice-Presidential candidate for the Republican Party. We believe that this terrible decision has surpassed mere partisanship, and that it is a dangerous farce—on the part of a pandering and rudderless Presidential candidate—that has a real possibility of becoming fact

Perhaps like us, as American women, you share the fear of what Ms. Palin and her professed beliefs and proven record could lead to for ourselves and for our present or future daughters

To date, she is against sex education, birth control, the pro-choice platform, environmental protection, alternative energy development, freedom of speech (as mayor she wanted to ban books and attempted to fire the librarian who stood against her), gun control, the separation of church and state, and polar bears. To say nothing of her complete lack of real preparation to become the second-most-powerful person on the planet

We want to clarify that we are not against Sarah Palin as a woman, a mother, or, for that matter, a parent of a pregnant teenager, but solely as a rash, incompetent, and all together devastating choice for Vice President. Ms. Palin’s political views are in every way a slap in the face to the accomplishments that our mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers so fiercely fought for, and that we’ve so demonstrably benefited from

First and foremost, Ms. Palin does not represent us. She does not demonstrate or uphold our interests as American women

It is presumed that the inclusion of a woman on the Republican ticket could win over women voters. We want to disagree, publicly

Therefore, we invite you to reply here (womensaynopalin@gmail.com ) with a short, succinct message about why you, as a woman living in this country, do not support this candidate as second-in-command for our nation

Please include your name (last initial is fine), age, and place of residence

We will post your responses on a blog called “Women Against Sarah Palin,” which we intend to publicize as widely as possible. Please send us your reply at your earliest convenience—the greater the volume of responses we receive, the stronger our message will be

Thank you for your time and action

    VIVA!

    Sincerely,

Quinn Latimer and Lyra Kilston New York, NY womensaynopalin@gmail.com <mailto:womensaynopalin@gmail.com

Grimmer news for Obama at http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html It looks like McCain is starting to inch further ahead in FL and OH. The big news is that a poll in Michigan came out today with McCain +1.

Off-post but I’m watching Obama and McCain visit the WTC site in New York at the moment and am struck at the difference between the two–

    - McCain clearly is more warming greeting and talking with folks; including hugs.

    - The have been given roses; McCain holds his up, respecting it and the apparent meaning it was given to him, while Obama holds his, almost as an afterthought, hanging down limply down in his hand.

“Jesus was a community organizer. Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

Democrats really are out of touch.

Many Hillary supporters have been offended from the beginning of Obama’s campaign by his presumption of Messiah-like qualities. Who in the world are they expecting to connect with by making this (what many people would consider) blasphemous comparison?

From where I sit, which is clingy, bitter, rural America, this remark is as insensitive and stupid as the lipsticked pig remark.

I guess that is what happens when your candidate has no substance and no principles and a platform that can change from one minute to the next.

  • samb

Doing good works in the community is fine , But Obama did nothing for me in my community, and comparing him to Jesus is is strange. Is Obama going to change water into wine, help the blind to see, heal the sick, I think Jesus has a better resume then Obama any day. Steve Cohen needs to understand Obama made being a community organizer an issue not you or I or the Republicans he threw it out there first.

  • miriam

Now that some of us are listening from the other side, is it any wonder that normal sane people think Democrats are all loonies? How did these crazies take over the Democratic party? If WE who are/were Democrats won’t vote for Obama, imagine how the Republican mainstream feels.

I’m delighted Bill Clinton will become “involved” (whatever that means) in Obama’s campaign. When this whole charade implodes, he’ll know who to get rid of first. Don’t think for a minute that Bill and Hillary will allow this crew of shyster Democrats to destroy the party for long. They’ll be there to pick up the pieces and rebuild.

  • http://mccaindemocrats.wordpress.com/ 30yrdem-not any more

    My latest state poll…

Oklahomans may not be excited about this year’s presidential campaign, but most of them know who they’re going to vote for.

    And it’s not Barack Obama.

The latest Oklahoma Poll, a statewide survey of 750 likely voters conducted July 19-23, found little support — and some outright hostility — for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

Republican John McCain, meanwhile, attracted broad, if sometimes tepid, support to lead Obama by 32 percentage points, 56 percent to 24 percent.

Wendy also repeated the inaccurate assertion that Palin cut funding for troubled teens in Alaska. In fact, she increased their funding by 300%

    http://www.crosswalk.com/blogs/EWThrockmorton/11581311/

“In Alaska, the governor is allowed to reduce spending allocations in the service of sound management and fiscal accountability. To prove his contention that Palin slashed funds for teen mothers, Kane produced the Alaska 2008 budget with Sarah Palin’s line by line adjustments. It is true that lawmakers allocated 5 million to Covenant House Alaska and that Mrs. Palin cut that allocation to 3.9 million dollars. However, what is misleading about the Post headline is that the allocation of 3.9 million is three times more than Covenant House Alaska received from government grants in 2007. According to records on the Covenant House Alaska website, the organization received just over 1.3 million dollars from grants in 2007 and nearly 1.2 million in 2006. Even with the reductions, Governor Palin signed a budget which provided three times more funds than the organization received in 2007.”

    GOP, independents gain in numbers

The percentages of state voters who identify themselves as Republicans or independents have increased since the 2006 general election, while Democrats have seen their overall share of registered voters fall to a historic low.

Democrats can no longer claim a majority of voters in the state, as their numbers dipped below 50 percent for the first time in state history.

Someone else said it first, can’t remember who.
Brazile regurgitated it on Sunday and Cohen repeated it yesterday.
Guess that’s the Dem’s new talking point.

On another note,I have been watching the NBC coverage of the WTC attack. Ironically, I heard Larry being interviewed by Couric as the tragedy unfolded. In addition to evoking the horror, the pain of the original incident, it has made me even more aware of what it is about BO that prevents me from ever supporting him.

The people who planned the WTC attack were filled with hatred for this country, its citizens, its history. The groups BO has associated with are filled with the same hatred, from black Liberation theologists to Nation of Islam adherents, from Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground to Jeremiah Wright, Bill Phlegler, Louis Farrakhan, Khadafi, Chavez, Michelle and the list goes on and on.

Anyone who truly remembers WTC can never vote for a person who has the slightest taint of anti-Americanism.

This is the first time I’ve seen the entire chronology from the original plane hitting the tower to the second plane’s impact, the collapse of the first tower and the strike on the pentagon all reported in real time. Of course I’ve read about the attack, watched the fires and smoke from NJ, visited ground zero a couple of days later, saw St. Paul’s chapel covered in ash and soot, but watching the entire incident unfold is beyond belief even though it’s 7 years later.

The hatred, the venom, the deliberate murder of thousands of innocent Americans, the glee with which the ‘Great Satan” was confronted on its own territory reminds me of the attitude of so many of BO’s mentors, from “Goddamn America Wright,” to “White folks greed serves a world in need Barry,” to “I didn’t do enough William Ayers.”

It is sickening. I can’t understand how any of the reporters or politicians who were part of the WTC attack, reported on it, experienced it, knew people who died in it, can now support BO. Andrea Mitchell was there . . . Couric was there . . . Mat Lawrey was there . . .

I have had the same thoughts about this Christ a community organizer comment. How would real Christians buy into the idea of Christ as a secular community worker? Calling Christ a community organizer strips him of his role as a profoundly spiritual and religious icon, the son of God, the holy trinity. “Using a competitive process that takes into account first-year grades, an editing exercise, and a written commentary on a court decision, The Harvard Law Review selects between 41 and 43 editors annually from the second-year Law School class, which numbers 560.

Two editors from each of first-year class’s seven sections (fourteen in all) are selected half by their first year grades and half by their scores on the writing competition. Another twenty are selected solely on their scores on the writing competition. The other seven to nine are selected by a discretionary committee, either to fulfill the review’s race-based affirmative action program, to select students who just missed the cut by either of the other two processes, or by some other criteria as the committee sees fit.”

I think what he meant is Jesus is to community organizing and Obama as Obama is to Barack the bombthrower.

Jesus was not a community organizer in the sense of today’s community organizers. Once has to entirely distort the meaning of community organizer to see things in this way.

Barack is not a bombthrower in the sense of today’s bombthrowers. His comment about lipstick on a pig is like throwing a bomb at civil discourse, but it is also not at all like throwing a bomb. Both parallels are ludicrous.

As an ex-Dem I can recognize desperation before an election. They are getting desperate. Odd thing is, this may actually give Hill an even greater role in the history books. Not only will she be the 45th president but she’ll go down in history as having reformed the Democratic Party. Once the Dems lose, and they will lose, Hill and Bill can clean house.

I guess this is going to be a double feature, after all. First the GE and then the reformation.

    That calls for extra pop-corn.

I think the reason that they are sending slime merchants up to see the churches where Palin has been, is to prepare for deflection when the Whitey Tapes arrive, I really do.

  • Diana L. C.

I am not a fundamentalists Christian, but I come from a very large Christian extended family. I spent my Sundays in Sunday school and church. When I was in junior high, I spent Saturdays for several months in confirmation school.

I studied theological issues as part of my undergrad and masters program in English because so much of the canon of English/American literature alludes to religious issues and dogma.

If they think the fundamentalists will fall for this, they are crazy. It’s because they, themselves, really know nothing about religion.

It all depends on some idiot equating Obama with Jesus. It’s going to be impossible for every Christian to make that leap, especially if they’ve heard any of the news about Wright.

It’s more of Lakoff’s stupid theory of “framing metaphors” I think. They need to read some other linguists–I recommend Pinker’s latest book–to understand that his theory is not good linguistics or good politics.

This is so insane on so many levels:

    a) Jesus Christ was NOT a “community organizer”. From a purely secular point of view He might be called an itinerant Rabbi. To Christians (you know us bitter clingy folks) He is the Eternal Son of God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, and Our Lord and Savior. To me, calling Him a “community organizer” is blasphemous.

    b) If you follow the analogy then Barack Obama is the Messiah, and Sarah Palin is the one who sentenced the Messiah to death.

I thought Barry’s people resented the Messiah “meme” and called is “racist”.

    c) The analogy suggests that all Governors are evil Messiah killers. I guess the applies to Sebelius, Bill Clinton, Bill Richardson, FDR, etc.???

    d) This will offend SOOOOOO many voters. Evangelicals, Roman Catholics, Mormons, and perhaps most importantly, Black Evangelical Christians.

Between this and the Obamabots’, (including Olbermann and Rachel Mad-Cow) mocking of Penetecostals, in their effort to smear Palin, I predict:

Barack Obama will win a lower percentage of the black vote than John Kerry did.

It makes sense. Black Republicans/Conservatives are a hardy bunch, accustomed to running against the herd. Most are not going to sell out the principles to vote based upon race.

Then again, we might never know it, due an ironic “Bradley effect” among black voters. I’d imagine a lot of African-Americans who vote for McCain will not want to tell the pollsters.

At any rate, the Obamaniacs have truly lost the collective minds. This is stunning to watch, a total meltdown.

Fox is implying that by McCain being all lovey dovey with Obama at the 9/11 memorial, it takes the national security/ terrorism/ patriotism issue off the table for Republicans, because McCain has now legitamized Obama on that issue by creating the image that they are equals and in agreement on the subject.

I would not go quite that far, but I also think it was a mistake for McCain to agree to this joint meeting, it helps Obama shore up his biggest weakness and does make it almost impossible for McCain to attack him on any of those issues now. It would make McCain look like too much of a hippocrit after this show of unity.

Obama is a very smart politician I will give him that.

Leaving economics and heath care as the only subjects to debate, those are not McCain strong points as percieved by the public.

McCain is running his campaign like he wants to lose. He is afraid to attack Obama on anything. I honestly have heard him spend more time praising Obama than attacking him over the course of this campaign.

The best McCain move so far has been picking Palin, and that he did grudginly, if left to his choice it would have been Lieberman and a sure loss.

McCain is surviving right now for 2 reasons. Obama is black and Palin is carrying the ticket.

Jesus was a Community Organizer and Pilate was a Governor. The thing is, Pilate won. Yes, McCains electoral prospects look quite better than obama’s.
He has obama playing defense in states like PA and MI he is in trouble. Mac has had steady leads in ohio florida and virginia.
Obama wanted to have mccain on defense but it is the other way around.
Obama has had to retreat from goergia, a poll just showed mac with a 20 point lead in NC.
Everywhere obama wanted to play is almost off the table. Colorado is a dead heat and he had his greco roman accpetance speech there.
Those of us rooting for the McPalin ticket, with alot more hard work this is ours!!!!!!!!!

  • JM08

You have constantly hear Obama attack and ridicule McCain and his policies.

McCain just likes to take the high road and be honorable and leave the dirty work to other people, which is fine to a point, but you have to show the American people that your willing to fight, because if your not willing to fight for yourself, than it’s hard for people to believe you will fight for them.

I know about McCains history as a war hero, but the problem is that was a long time ago, and while people will admire him for it, they may begin to think that McCain is just a nice old man who has no fight in him.

  • Above My Pay Grade

Hey, keep repeating that if you want.

It won’t make it any more true, but it will win McCain/Palin a whole lot of votes, especially among swing voters in key battleground states like PA, MI, OH and CO.

You can make arguments about which side agrees more with Jesus on different issues, but to demote Him to community organizer and compare Obama to Him is offensive and will send voters running away from your “Messiah”

  • vinnie

What needs to happen is McCain needs to hit Obama over the head with Rev Wright and Ayers and question his patriotism.

Obama is not shy about calling McCains economic plan a “pig” or about calling his vp a “pig” depends on how you interpet it, but Obama just does not attack McCain, but he laughs at him while he is doing it. The ridicule factor is strong in politics.

McCain needs to return the favor.

  • Paul3triple

JM08, should McCain have ridiculed him on 9/11? perhaps an attack ad?
I mean, that is a bit absurd to think that because the two guys looking to take over the country went to ground-zero together changes national security.
That is like Obama’s Magical Mystery tour gave him credibility right?
Also, on an all politics is local level, McCain once again outfoxed him today. He went to flight 93 and praised those great hero’s that stopped the terrorists from hitting their target. Obama, did not.
the picture again suggests to me that McCain is above the pettyness. His speech was a bipartisan appeal and this picture is the same.
McCain has been fighting obama since the convention and quite effectively.
Its the anniversary of the most tragic day in our nations history. He would seem very petty and small had turned down the opportunity.
This is what poeple want in their leaders.
Also, Mac brought cindy. Where is Michelle?
Advantage Mcpalin today. Her interview with Charley will wipe all other news away over the weekend.

But when Donna Brazile and her cohort uses Jesus to support their candidate, it’s good.

    There’s a bit of a disconnect there.

  • kgirl1028

Jesus was a community organzer, Pilate was a governer, and barak obama is an a$$hole. has a nice ring to it.

  • Rev. Wright, can you fix my garlic nose?

Can’t the gay community keep him under wraps?

He just doesn’t fit the profile.

    Damn.

  • http://www.progressive.org/mag_reed0508 Beowulf

    Obama’s a joke.

  • Boxer Mum 06

Agreed! Just solidifies the Country First theme. We are all Americans today – not a particular party member.

Those who found the Messiah comparisons offensive, and there were plenty, are going to be very critical of this tactic.
It will be in private, but make no mistake, people will not be receptive to this!

  • Felix Rodriguez

I would give you a smart answer if that were not so funny.

    Official response from GLBT Community:

“He does NOT speak for all of us.”

I would love to get a hold of that bumper sticker. I could put it next to another one that reads “keep honking, I’m reloading!” :)

  • Boxer Mum 06

Last time I checked, Jesus didn’t support abortion either!

  • Boxer Mum 06

It’s called a photo op! He needs to have his picture in the paper and what better way than to show him hugging a woman. Trying to get the female vote you know.

  • Boxer Mum 06

    Awesome!

  • jnm594

but you know what they say “a picture is worth a thousand words” and all people are going to be seeing are McCain and Obama all buddy buddy on the issue, making people think that they are equals on the subject.

It’s called being civil and having some dignity and class. Something the Obots know nothing about. It was a memorial for 9/11 not about the two of them.

when it’s not about you, you show HUMILITY.

  • jnm594

That is like Obama’s Magical Mystery tour gave him credibility right?

    LOVE IT! ROFLMAO!

  • JP

OH MAN!!! “Pointman” LMAO “for our policies” DOUBLE LMAO!!!! You’ve got to be kidding me! Your pointman CHANGEs his policies every time he finds himself in hot water. He is more like your ‘flippety-flop-man’ for those policies or are they more like talking points at this point….man

  • OBushMA!

If they think that’s clever I pity them. It just make them look more cult-like. It’s like the Obama moonies handed out fortunate cookies all saying the same “inspirational” mumble jumble… pathetic.

  • Stewie

Representative Cohen (who is unfamiliar with the New Testament) and Donna Brazile repeated the assertion that was started by a leftwing blogger.

    The remark is utterly ridiculous.

Jesus never registered voters so they could be part of a corrupt political machine, nor did he help folks get government welfare benefits — which is all Barack did as a “community organizer” for the Daley machine.

Jesus refused the entreaties of zealots who wanted him to help organize resistance to Roman rule.

Barack’s blasphemous supporters will get their comeuppance on election day.

Just say no to Obama Bin Biden.

  • Above My Pay Grade

I am eagerly expecting a new McCain ad titled ‘The One III’, which will combine the best stuff from volumes I and II with a clip of Cohen’s community organizer speech introduced with a voice over that goes something like:

“And they will proclaim his greatness, likening him to the Son of God.”

But PLEASE don’t make room for it by editing out Barry washing up on the beach after parting the Red Sea. :-)

  • Ferd McBerfle

Yeah, right. As man who is so “misunderstood” and misspeaks at an alarming frequency, he was unfit and unqualified for THAT job, too.

  • Stewie

Perez Hilton does look like a pig but without lipstick, just dyed hair.

  • Ferd McBerfle

Well, bot, doctor’s children often become doctors, too. I don’t hear you whining about that.

  • Above My Pay Grade

Brand new children’s hymn for Barry:

Barack loves me this I know.
For Steve Cohen tells me so!
Hope and change to him belong,
Left is right and right is wrong.

    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Steve Cohen tells me so!

  • OxyCon

Isn’t Obama in effect running for Pontius Pilate’s job?
    Did Jesus do that?

  • jobabe

In fact, I pointed that out to my friends that Pilate was still in control. So if you use the analogy then Obama loses (though morally superior) but McCain wins and rules with an iron fist. Kinda like say Gore and Kerry!!! I guess Obama didn’t do very well on his Miller analogy test. wonder how he got into Harvard when he tested this bad on the analogy section of his SAT.

  • Above My Pay Grade

It’s a miracle! Two new verses have descended from The One’s Greek Temple, The Barakopolis:

    Barack Loves Me

Barack loves me this I know.
For Steve Cohen tells me so!
Hope and change to him belong,
Left is right and right is wrong.

    Refrain:
    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Yes, Barack loves me!
    Steve Cohen tells me so!

    He will bring to public schools;
    The post-modern golden rules.
    Kindergartners will be read,
    “Age-appropriate” Sex Ed!

    Refrain

    Of our nation “downright mean”;
He shall make Michelle the Queen!
    And although he cannot bowl;
He will “heal your broken soul”!

    Refrain

The bots, especially The One Himself, really need to stop comparing Obama to Jesus. Messianic complexes are like totally okay if you’re a brutal dictator, but not if you’re POTUS or running for POTUS, God dammit!

    1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfu2P6cGhWo
—Jeremiah Wright comparing Obama to Jesus: “Jesus was a poor black man, who lived in a country… controlled by rich white people.” BTW, in Chicago, the black community refers to Obama as “our chosen son”.

Any comparison of Obama to anyone other than Jesus is simply downright racist! God dammit!

    2. a. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsueXFniP2E
—Obama’s “The Country I Love” Ad.

The JESUS ARCHETYPE is that of a golden child born of a virgin mother and no earthly father. Needless to say, Jesus is clearly different from all those around him. Art portrays Jesus this way. Movies portray Jesus this way. Christians portray Jesus this way. The Bible portrays Jesus this way. Obama’s dark skinned Kenyan father is conspicuously missing from all of his biographical ads. Instead we see only this a little non-white boy, indeed a truely precious golden child, surrounded by a typical white (virgin) mother, and typical white grandparents, and a multitude of other typical white people, but no dark skinned Kenyan father. Likewise, in his TV ads, we never see his dark skinned half-Indonesian sister, his dark skinned Indonesian stepfather, nor any of his other dark skinned Kenyan relatives, including his dark skinned father, dark skinned paternal grandmother, dark skinned half-siblings, dark skinned cousins, etc.

    3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT1_keb5M2I

Even Michelle Obama is often conspicuously absent from many key events such as the debates with Hillary, or such as today’s 911 tribute in NYC where both Obama and McCain showed up in a joint appearance. And yes, Cindy McCain was present.

BTW, there’s a vid on YouTube (which I can’t locate at the moment) where early during the primaries, Michelle introduces The One with the breathtaking phrase: “My husband is a very special man…

    4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teM16UaA55A
—McCain’s “The One” Ad. “A light will shine down from somewhere. It will light upon you and you will experience an epiphany. And you will say: ‘I have to vote for Barack!’” Another staggering pile of excrement: “This was the moment that the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” And dare we lowly peasants forget: “I have become a symbol of America returning to our best traditions.

Charles Rangel is pretty smart — smart enough to become House Ways & Means Chairman and the most powerful black man in American history. Rangel said Obama was ‘absolutely stupid’ for playing race in South Carolina.

Rangel also said ‘Nobody thinks Obama is qualified to be President,’ even though he encouraged Obama to run. Rangel’s plan was for Obama to make a name for himself in ’08, then win in 2016 after he was qualified. Rangel knows Obama blew it when he played race on the Clintons.

—What Obama did to Alice Palmer. Note how the Obama assassin, Will Burns (at 4m30s), who actually took part in that ruthless 11th hour disqualification of FOUR other BLACK candidates, can barely keep a straight face as he claims Obama “did not enjoy it!”

It’s truly astonishing how on his first time out, first time running for office, that he would instantly resort to backstabbing a friend, mentor and benefactor in such a cold-blooded way. It gets worse… How can a “community organizer” who brags of signing up 150,000 black voters, then disqualify thousands of black petition signers for 4 other black candidates?!? Talk about FUCKED UP BEYOND ALL RECOGNITION.

Note: It’s very hard to locate footage on YouTube of Obama gender-baiting Hillary and other footage of him repeatedly race-baiting Bill on stage, most of it was done by surrogates, political assassins, and whatnot, since Obama always plays good cop/bad cop as well as perpetual victim.

Has anyone cited other well known governors? Such as Jimmy Carter, Gray Davis, Franklin Roosevelt, to name three off the top of my head? Does the Left consider them as Pilate? Nope–only the current enemy, Sarah Palin. I’m pleased to know she strikes such fear in the Left, and their response will seal their fate–defeat in November. Can’t wait!

  • Jim Shaw

Obama is unqualified because he has had not one minute of executive experience–he’s like a stockroom boy attempting to become CEO. He ran for his Senate seat virtually unopposed, and began his campaign with virtually NO Senate experience. He’s passed no legislation in his career, and has voted so rarely as to be remarkable (I don’t count ‘present’ as a vote).

  • http://thekingdomcome.com Roderick

Jesus didn’t organize the community — that was the job of the Zealots who sought to overthrown Rome.

    http://thekingdomcome.com/jesus_community_organizer

  • Michelle O

Jesus was not a community organizer.
Pontius Pilate was NOT a governor. He was a procurator. A babysitter, of sorts. He, like Obama, never had to make a tough decision. In fact, the only historical record of a tough decision he faced is the night of Jesus’ crucifixion. He could have stopped it, but instead, he simply voted “PRESENT.”
Check out Obama’s voting record. He’s not the messiah. He’s not even a governor. He’s less than nothing when it comes to viewing his track record.

  • Tom Smith

Normal qualifications just don’t matter with Barack Obama. In school he was the beneficiary of a combination of personal charm and membership in a favored minority. His grades didn’t matter. He fulfilled a longing that existed within the community then, just as he does now. He was and will be a historic “first” and a symbol of how far we’ve come. The normal “qualifications” are irrelevant when the community wants to make a statement and that is why, even though he may be unqualified to be President in the normal sense, he is well qualified to be elected President in 2008.
