Normal qualifications just don’t matter with Barack Obama. In school he was the beneficiary of a combination of personal charm and membership in a favored minority. His grades didn’t matter. He fulfilled a longing that existed within the community then, just as he does now. He was and will be a historic “first” and a symbol of how far we’ve come. The normal “qualifications” are irrelevant when the community wants to make a statement and that is why, even though he may be unqualified to be President in the normal sense, he is well qualified to be elected President in 2008.

Jesus was not a community organizer.
Pontius Pilate was NOT a governor. He was a procurator. A babysitter, of sorts. He, like Obama, never had to make a tough decision. In fact, the only historical record of a tough decision he faced is the night of Jesus’ crucifixion. He could have stopped it, but instead, he simply voted “PRESENT.”
Check out Obama’s voting record. He’s not the messiah. He’s not even a governor. He’s less than nothing when it comes to viewing his track record.

Obama is unqualified because he has had not one minute of executive experience–he’s like a stockroom boy attempting to become CEO. He ran for his Senate seat virtually unopposed, and began his campaign with virtually NO Senate experience. He’s passed no legislation in his career, and has voted so rarely as to be remarkable (I don’t count ‘present’ as a vote).

Charles Rangel is pretty smart — smart enough to become House Ways & Means Chairman and the most powerful black man in American history. Rangel said Obama was ‘absolutely stupid’ for playing race in South Carolina.

Rangel also said ‘Nobody thinks Obama is qualified to be President,’ even though he encouraged Obama to run. Rangel’s plan was for Obama to make a name for himself in ’08, then win in 2016 after he was qualified. Rangel knows Obama blew it when he played race on the Clintons.

In fact, I pointed that out to my friends that Pilate was still in control. So if you use the analogy then Obama loses (though morally superior) but McCain wins and rules with an iron fist. Kinda like say Gore and Kerry!!! I guess Obama didn’t do very well on his Miller analogy test. wonder how he got into Harvard when he tested this bad on the analogy section of his SAT.
