Well, some folks get a little cranky when they can’t have free college, free welfare, free condoms and above all, free abortion.

These bastards act as if the president’s most important job is to know the latest computer technology and cut their constituents a welfare check, with the tab going to everybody’s children– or grandchildren, depending on when the country collapses.

wow I didn’t know this. But I thought it was a bad move because many of seniors and elderly do not know how to use a computer. My dad doesn’t know how to use a computer but he sure as hell knows how to vote! By making fun of McCain for not using a computer he is it reinforces that elitist snob persona that so many think he is already. I know another man that is rich and he doesn’t know how to send and email either because he pays people to run his business and send his emails. This is just dumb on so many levels.

McCain camp should make a special ad to answer to the ad saying, “It’s true, I don’t know how to email, not only that I cannot comb my hair either because the torture I experienced damaged my nerves on my shoulders.”

Everyone send the forbes article and boston herald article to everyone.

After the pigstick-gate this will cinch it.

Earlier today, Barack Obama’s campaign released an ad attacking John McCain for not knowing how to send an e-mail. Their crack research team apparently never heard of Google or Lexis-Nexis, but Jonah Goldberg does. He discovers why McCain doesn’t use a keyboard — his torturers made sure he couldn’t. The Boston Globe reported it eight years ago:

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain’s encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He’s an avid fan – Ted Williams is his hero – but he can’t raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

After Vietnam, McCain had Ann Lawrence, a physical therapist, help him regain flexibility in his leg, which had been frozen in an extended position by a shattered knee. It was the only way he could hope to resume his career as a Navy flier, but Lawrence said the treatment, taken twice a week for six months, was excruciatingly painful.

”He endured it, he wouldn’t settle for less,” said Lawrence, who rejoiced with McCain when he passed the Navy physical. ”I have never seen such toughness and resolve.”

Making fun of a war hero’s severe injuries — smooth move, Team O. Talk about computer illiteracy! Doesn’t anyone on the Obama campaign know what they’re doing? Didn’t it ever occur to them that a man who can’t raise his arms above his head might have a physical barrier to using a computer?

If this is what happens when they takes the gloves off, maybe they should just keep them on in the future.

Maybe he’s able to move the mouse so he can access sites bookmarked for him?

Lord knows I think the chicken-hawk arguments are stupid. And I don’t think the fact that Obama never served in the military should count against him in and of itself. But how stupid is it for the Obama campaign to claim that McCain is unqualified to be president because he can’t grasp cyber-security issues based on the fact he has never sent an email when the McCain campaign can just as easily say Obama can’t understand first order national security issues because he’s never fired a rife, flown a plane, commanded men in battle, or faced an enemy? I mean which prepares someone to be commander in chief better, hitting “send” on AOL or fighting a war?

In fact, didn’t Obama just make all of those arguments valid and fair?

How difficult was this for a campaign to find before they ran an ad embarrassing themselves?

This ad is so lame. Besides the fact that it makes fun of McCain’s permanent injuries from being a POW, the ad is simply ineffective. It reflects Obama’s lame sense of humor. The music is awful and it makes fun of old people. My mother doesn’t use the internet either. That doesn’t make her retarded. This is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way. The only people who would find this ad funny are wealthy 20-something Obamabots who believe that anyone who can’t afford MacBook and internet access isn’t worth the dirt off their shoes.

What a blunder of an ad. Attacking McCain’s deficiencies first without knowing why they are as such and then right after coming from a forum where he said he hated personal attacks and was demanding that the campaign would be focus on issues.

Now whenever I push the Send button for Emailing I remember McCain and say a little prayer for him.

This should be sent to everyone at FOX news. Obama is trying to insult and beat down a large segment of our population…..Women, Sr.’s, people with disabilities, War heroes. Who is left to vote for the guy? Oh right, the bloggerboyz.

I wonder how many seniors out there who can’t/don’t use a computer will still on the fence after this ad. Let’s see what other block of voters the Obama campaign can alienate. Bet his only supporters on election day will be those Cheetos eating basement dwellers (as someone here once put it) and the AA’s. That’s not even a sure bet….they may abandoning him as well..like rats off a sinking ship.

Just watched the youtube of Mccain’s View apperance. Wow, those women were so hostile and disrespectful. Especially Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg. I am stunned and disgusted at their behavior. You don’t have to agree with him or like him, but show some respect please. Their disdain for Gov. Palin was palpable, just sick.

I have been sick to my stomach since I saw this ad earlier. This ad would be like making an ad against David Patterson, the legally blind Governor of New York, saying he shouldn’t be governor because he can’t drive.

Obammunist and his tools can go no lower than this. In my opinion, they’ve hit rock bottom today.

We’re in for a world of hurt if these sub-humans get a toe in the WH and it will take years and years to undo the damage that they’ll heap upon us.

WASHINGTON — A conservative nonprofit group with a past link to Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign wants to spend $2.8 million on an ad questioning Democrat Barack Obama’s relationship to a founder of the 1960s radical group Weather Underground.

The ad, which is expected to begin airing Thursday in Michigan and Friday in Ohio, focuses on William Ayers, whose Weatherman organization took credit for a series of bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

American Issues Project, the sponsor of the ad, is a nonprofit 501(c)4 organization. One of its board members, Ed Failor Jr., was a paid consultant for McCain’s campaign in Iowa last year. The campaign paid his firm $50,000 until July 2007. American Issues Project spokesman Christian Pinkston said Failor has no connection to the McCain campaign now.

The ad signals the emergence of the type of tough advertising by independent organizations that operate outside the financial limits of campaign finance law. It is reminiscent of the Swift Boat ads aired against John Kerry four years ago questioning his military service and are widely blamed by Democrats for contributing to his defeat.

Organizers sought to air the ad on Fox News Channel, but a Fox spokesman said the network declined to run it. He would not say why.

Ayers is now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He and Obama live in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood and served together on the board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based charity that develops community groups to help the poor. Obama left the board in December 2002.

Obama also was the first chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a school reform group of which Ayers was a founder. Ayers also held a meet-the-candidate event at his home for Obama when Obama first ran for office in the mid-1990s.

“Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, ‘Respectable’ and ‘Mainstream,’” the ad states. “Obama’s political career was launched in Ayers’ home. And the two served together on a left-wing board. Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it? Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?”

Hell. There is a special place in hell for every last one of them. I have been saying the entire time that for some reason they were showing a certain amount of disdain this election for the military and it was coming straight from there worthless good for nothing cant come talk to us in a town hall because he rather play citizen of the world leader. He set the tone Obama and alot of people sure damn followed.

Not for one minute I doubt the cruelty to this ad. A couple of days ago I posted a comment about how on Taylor Marsh a poster was making comments calling McCain a “Crippled War Monger” and I was pissed that they were allowing comments like that without moderation but I got banned for saying that shit wasnt right because you dont know who is on the other side of that computer screen.

God do they even know how many of us have gotten injured in this war alone? The injuries suffered? I know Obama knows because he has talked about traumatic head injuries suffered from those who have gotten hurt. I cant believe THIS is what you get when the gloves come off. At least they had the heart and gave us the courtesy to waite one day before they showed us exactly how they really feel. I guess throwing the rose on live national television wasnt enough.

Keep pretending people Barack Obama has any love for this country. In todays Chicago Suntimes Neil Steinberg writes:

Nearly vomiting after reading this by a writer who did not vet Obama nor write about him in this manner,
I came home to Bill Moyer interviewing Obama supporting journalists who were criticizing the media including CNN for trating Palin like a celebrity, the mocking tones of the CNN anchors and their laughter was unbelievable. These “journalists” felt that the media should be highlighting the investigations of Palin. Well, where are the investigations of Obama? When is the media going to stop talking about Palin, and Hillary before her in such an insulting manner?

Lets see if tomorrow Obama skips his skid on SNL.

p.s. who cares if he can use email? His staff can do that, he is making strategic decisions. I could care less. Obama thinks he can use his blackberry for everything and doesn’t bother to show up. McCain shows up.

The McCain campaign should fire back with an ad that simply has Cindy McCain giving a brief explanation that John does indeed use email, but thanks to the torture he sustained for five years living in a hell hole that he is barely able to type due to discomfort — so she does this for him. Make them eat their words.

Look at the MI polls…Rasmussen is stronger for Obama in LV polls pretty much across the board than other organizations. I read somewhere that he does a weird thing where he tries to weight results by party, but he uses old numbers with inflated representation for self-proclaimed democrats.

McCain can’t use a computer because he is so impaired he can’t brush his hair?? What else is he unable to do for himself? Just exactly how physically impaired is he? I never got the impression in the past that he was so impaired that he might be unable to do his job without significant assistance from others. I work in the health care field and have many clients that are unable to touch the top of their heads but use the computer for hours every day as it is their link to the outside world. I really don’t think we need to be planting in peoples minds that McCain needs ADLs. I understand you are trying to say BO is being mean but let’s not point out McCains shortcomings in the process

What a blunder and Obama officially approved the message, so there is not weaseling out of it this time. An immediate pulling of the ad and fervent apology is in order. I doubt he has the character or common sense to do it.
