Gang Moll – De-Brief

From the blog for the nationally syndicated radio show, aired nightly from 9:00 p.m.through 1 a.m. Check the podcasts and archives pages.

Spoke of the death of the Hezbollah spiritual leader Muhammed Fadlallah and the sudden firing of Atlanta-based Mideast editor Octavia Nasr.

The occasion was that Ms. Nasr posted a Tweet message just after Fadlallah’s death in which she called him “great.”

Fadlallah has long been associated with the homicidal maniac and sadist Mugniyeh (below), the gangster who organized the US Embassy bombing, Marine barracks bombing and the torture of CIA Buckley, all in 1983-84.

In sum, Octavia Nasr chose to call attention to her prejudice to admire a gangster’s guru. Why?

Perhaps because Octavia Nasr had been admiring gangsters for so long, Ms. Nasr, the editr, forgot her responsibilities as an editor. Or did she just give in to the inconvenient prejudices of a faux moll?

Am told the more important story is that Fadlalalh left behind a $2 billion empire, and the junior thugs are starting the scrap over the plunder.

6 more American Soldiers dead this morning in Afghanistan.

For what?  This kind of garbage? Tell the women and children to leave.  Then nuke it.  It will make mining easier.

I concur. Vermin is vermin and we’re much better off without them.

Here is the video of Tucker on Hannity last night.  Strangely, I agree with everything he says now.  I love when he tells her ……….. “Oh, I think we do.”

Oh wait, they cut the good part in this video.  Tamara says something like “we aren’t sure Obama knew anything about this or had anything to do with it”.  And Tucker says, “Oh, I think we do.”

It was the best part of the interview.

Someone needs to snatch that $2 billion and start building.

My niece that just got back from Israel posted the most beautiful pictures of their beaches.  Guess what?  The Palestinians have those same beautiful beaches.  Why no travel industry other than flotilla’s filled with weapons and terrorists?  Because then they wouldn’t be their junkyard dogs.

The beaches were the white and blue in this blog site.  Beautiful. I’ve never seen the ocean that color before. :*

I think we will find more and more so-called journalists putting feet in their mouths.  The media have lowered their standards os much by putting people into positions based on their sex appeal, their pushiness, their “biting” humor, etc. and also based on simply their ethnic backgrounds rather than on their understanding of good journalistic standards of objectivitiy and fact checking for truth, etc.

I really wish my kids and grandkids could feel as confident in our news sources as I USED to feel as I grew up.  I know that even then, there were journalists with bias, but there were many who took their jobs as the fourth estate, so to speak, seriously.

This is what happens when hiring decisions are made based upon affirmative action, which is actually a process based upon the lowest-common denominator. Mediocrity is the final output of this truly bizarre process that eschews comeptence for tokenism. No wonder we’re screwed.

carol:  I was thinking the other day, we should fool all the drug cartels to meet in some desolate place and then drop a nuclear bomb.  It would make the war against drugs much easier!

Steve Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism reports that the Hezbos are at the Mexican border — and we’re not talking here about those “moderate elements” of Hezbollah that Obama’s counterterrorism czar is searching for; we’re talking about the jihad’s A-Team (i.e., the guys al Qaeda goes to for training). As IPT relates: Hizballah is setting up shop along the American border with Mexico, the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Seyassah reports. In an exclusive story, the Kuwaiti daily revealed that Mexican officials have arrested a Mexican national with ties to the Shiite terrorist group.

    BREAKING NEWS:

    BP: Cap on gushing well
    removed, oil flows freely

NEW ORLEANS – Robotic submarines removed the cap from the gushing well in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, beginning a period of at least two days when oil will flow freely into the sea. It’s the first step in placing a tighter dome that is supposed to funnel more oil to collection ships on the surface a mile above. If all goes according to plan, the tandem of the tighter cap and the surface ships could keep all the oil from polluting the fragile Gulf as soon as Monday. BP spokesman Mark Proegler said the old cap was removed ….
