I have been writing to Fox about Morris since the primaries. I can not believe that they allow the angry gnome to plug his book on all of their programs. He hates the Clintons because they let him go after he was photographed with a prostitute (poor woman).

If McCain wants to win he needs to campaign with Palin, that way they will have big excited crowds. By campaigning separately they are diluting the excitement. Just my opinion.

I do read Dick Morris' column as well as anything by Karl Rove or Pat Buchanan. While I don't agree with their politics, or would want any of them meeting my wife for lunch, their insights are often valuable.

For example, I thought Morris's analysis of the two VP picks was excellent, i.e. that Obama used his incorrectly and weakened his "change" factor, and that McCain used his correctly and created a separation between himself and the Bush administration.

Yes, Morris definitely does have a vendetta against the Clintons - he wrote a book in 2005 that was essentially a rebuttal of Hillary Clinton's book Living History. Yeah, this statement is probably a smear on Sen Clinton, and he hopes that people won't have as sharp memories as we do.

BTW I have noticed that particularly in this election cycle plenty of commentators and candidates seem to underestimate my intelligence as a voter. I've been watching the race since last year and remember everything everyone said, including the original quotes, so when Obama says for example that McCain wants to be in Iraq for 100 years or thinks that $5m is middle class, I know he's lying and it makes me think worse of Obama. And sure, this false reference to sexism makes me think less of Morris too. But not too much less because I know he's a sleaze at his core.

Of course the real question is why does he hate the Clintons now. He would be nothing without them, and its his own fault that he self-destructed on the job.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-oped0916byrnesep16,0,188873.story

This was the story in the Chicago Tribune yesterday - talking about Obama being a fraud when it came to promoting <strong>real</strong> reform. <blockquote>"Throughout his political career, Barack Obama has fought for open and honest government," proclaims his campaign Web site. Apparently, no longer. When the Democratic presidential candidate—now his party's industrial-strength voice for our deliverance from political corruption everywhere—was asked by a reformer if he would help get his political mentor back home to get off the dime and move the most minimal of state ethics legislation toward passage, the Obama campaign sent word back that amounted to a "no." </blockquote>

Good read - I wrote and thanked the author - rare to find someone who speaks truth these days.

I'm happy to see the Republicans fired up - I'm fired up too. Saying that one would like to see more attacks by McCain isn't freaking out or pulling hair but, as Hillary supporters, we've seen what lies and censorship by the MSM will do to derail a campaign.

Frankly,NO candidate in the history of our nation has ever had journalists and media working to actually ensure that "their favorite candidate" get elected, therefore, unfortunately, this election isn't comparable to any other whether one is used to winning or not.

As Hillary learned the hard way, what might seem logical to do in a NORMAL election won't necessarily work in THIS election. With the MS media's abundant resources to promote lies and half truths every 15 minutes on 24 hour cable news as well as their proclivity for censoring stories that should be out there - this election can change on a dime.

Yesterday, one of the pundits on FOX was saying that the more McCain attacks, the more Obama is thrown off "his game" and that McCain should be attacking more and harder. With just 40 days to go, with all the TRUTHS about Obama that have yet to be revealed, we're just saying "bring it on" - or "bring it out" (lol!)

I was glad to see that McCain called Obama out about being the 2nd largest receiver of Fannie Mae and Freedie Mac funding. (Oh yeah - that's what I'm talking about.)

I can't tell you the number of times I've written FOX and asked them "How can you say you're FAIR and BALANCED while at the same time employing Dick Morris?"

Karl Rove in his commentator role has the ability to step back and say the pro and cons of this campaign or that campaign - Geraldine Ferraro as well, but Dick Morris never once showed one thread of fairness or dignity toward Hillary Clinton. Not once. I don't care if he friggin' HATES her - if he is employed as a commentator, he should be able to step back and report on things fairly & equitably especially when his role was to REPRESENT the Democratic point of view.

He is one of my main beefs with FOX (& the fact that they only hire Barbie Doll look alikes for their female reporters (except for Greta) What, AVERAGE looking women can't report the news?)

Morris was/is vicious, amoral, immoral and had no compunction about spreading lies and distorting events about Hillary on the campaign trail such as what Rev. Amy writes about here.

That one incident in New Hampshire; Hillary's voice broke a little when that woman asked her how she did it every day. The next thing you know, they're saying that she cried CROCODILE TEARS - then others said that SHE WASN'T CRYING ANY TEARS AT ALL, it was all fake to make people feel sorry for her. The next morning Jesse Jackson, Jr. said Hillary tears were racist. "Did she cry for the people of Katrina?" And now Morris is saying that Hillary was crying about the sexism?

He is the pig of which Obama spoke (wish I could photoshop a pic of him right now with beyond the boundaries lipstick smeared all over his mouth).

Thanks for the post - but now I'm angry again! lol

Some people think that Dick is smart. He seem to be just below average in his intelligence or analysis. He is definitely extremely biased against the Clintons and is uing the Fox pulpit to denigrate them every sngle time.

May be Fox hould find someone else really unbiased towards individuals and also someone else with atleast reasonablly average intelligence. The Dick is really obnoxious. Fox, please avoid this guy.

I can tell you that McCain DID bring up that Obama was #2 in donations from Fannie/Freddie out of 354 lawmakers. A JUNIOR senator, and he's at #2? Chris Dodd, natually, was #1...So, McCain IS saying it.

Oh, regarding the MSM - I noticed yesterday that the blogs were going nuts saying Fox News had turned on McCain because Megyn WhateverHerLastName is gave Tucker BOunds, McCain's spokesman, a hard time. I didn't see ANY of them mention that Bill Hemmer got completely frustrated by Obama's spokesman, Bill Burton. Hemmer was TRYING to ask him abt the 1982 ad and McCain not being ABLE to use a computer, and Burton just refused to answer him - he talked over Hemmer left and right, and Hemmer was taken aback. Burton's performance no doubt lost some votes for Obama...

You forgot point #4: This is supposed to be the worst year to be a Republican. The Democrat, any Democrat, should be ahead by 20% for this reason alone.

You said it, you're not a Democrat and therefore INCLINED to dislike Hillary because you're conditioned by all the Republican hate-speak. We want Hillary in 2012, she has to appear loyal to the party even though it's been taken over by pod people. Loyal Democrats understand that.

You start out saying you don't really like Hillary, then say your opinion of her dropped. It's not a logical argument. If you already have a low opinion of her, what difference how low it is?

Hillary 2012!

Something important for everyone to remember:

A vote can be interpreted as FOR a candidate, but more importantly as a vote AGAINST one.

As I read polls indicating the trustworthiness of either McCain or Obama, irrespective of their policy stances or their choice of VP, McCain is consistently ahead.

This would indicate that McCain's numbers hold a greater proportion of anti-Obama choices as the predominant motive compared to Obama. Eg. today's Oregon poll by Ras, stated that McCain's vote was 66% for him, 30% against Obama. Obama's vote was 79% for him, 19% against McCain. This is a significant difference in the anti-vote rate, clearly favoring McCain.

Irrespective of arguments, humans make choices led by their sentiments first, their reasoning second. Given the state of the economy, the anti-Obama vote this election will be large. This explains in part the departure from previous patterns of voting. Obama ultimatley can't be trusted (by the majority of the electorate)and this will seal his fall. This also explains why the undecided vote in the primaries fell largely with Hillary, because when no one is watching, and you are alone, you will choose either the one you trust the most (a pro-vote) or not choose the one you trust the least (an anti-vote).

Its too late for Obama if he is waiting for humanity to change its stripes.

This would indicate that McCain’s numbers hold a greater proportion of anti-Obama choices as the predominant motive compared to Obama. Eg. today’s Oregon poll by Ras, stated that McCain’s vote was 66% for him, 30% against Obama. Obama’s vote was 79% for him, 19% against McCain.
