Obama is stuck on one style of oration–and when heard, over and over again, it’s no longer that “fierce urgency” nonsense–it’s closer to WHINING, HECTORING and COMPLAINING. Over, and over, and OVER again. Waaaah, waaaah, waaaah….they’re being MEAN to me! That’s all he seems to say, lately!

Private enterprise has utterly failed to attend to our health needs. Thousands of people die every year because we don’t have a health care system. They died because of Republicans.

They do. People who play that “sunshine and roses” bullshit about socialized health care need to wake the fuck up.

It’s simply a substitution of one bunch of assholes for another–private assholes are supplanted by government assholes–and the bottom line is still the bottom line.

I lost a good friend to heart disease because of the NHS. They “decided” that his bypass operation could wait; there was a LINE, you see. While he was waiting, he had a massive coronary and croaked.

Had he had the money to go to Harley Street, he’d likely still be here today.

People in Europe have free health care and six-week annual vacations. Better that than our “booming” economy—where everybody works three jobs.

The economy is in the crapper because the Republicans gained control of the government in 2000 and began to take apart the New Deal.

And if you don’t like socialism, please get off my sidewalk.
