Lynn Forester de Rothschild on TV Today

UPDATE: I am reversing the order of the interviews because the CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer was more informative, and she got a great opportunity to express so many of the concerns that we’ve all discussed here:

On Fox News with Neil Cavuto:

Please see our earlier stories today on Lynn Forester de Rothschild’s endorsement of John McCain and Sarah Palin, as well as her resignation from the DNC’s Platform Committee (although she stated she fully intends to remain a member in long standing of the Democratic Party):

  • katmandu

Israel may be ready once again to elect a female leader:

    http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D938O3PG0&show_article=1

Something the U.S. has been incapable of. So far.

  • Sarasota

    Nice.

Where has Al Gore been hiding?

    Is he a O-hater?

Perhaps he is drawing up the blueprint for a Gore/Clinton ticket for 2012?

  • Will Smith

Obama’s “metors” on fox in 3 min LOL

  • Hillblazer_10

    Love you Lynn!

  • LandOLincoln

“Perhaps he is drawing up the blueprint for a Gore/Clinton ticket for 2012?”

Not a chance. The ticket in 2012 will be what it should have been in 2008:

    Clinton/Clark or Clark/Clinton.

    Surefire winner either way.

  • James

Love this lady. Excellent how she articulated the choice issue and how it’s used to scare women to vote Democrat.

  • bayareavoter

I LOVE the CNN interview. What a woman! Anyone know how to email her? I’d love to send her a big HUG!

  • Will Smith

Doh! no Rezko or Ayers ffs O’Railly sucks

  • Andy

The last minute of the CNN interview is priceless: (1) The Democratic Party left me I did not leave the Democratic Party (2) The off the cuff mocking of Blitzer as they (the MSM) being the elite. Excellent.

  • katmandu

Laugh of the day. Obama’s economic adviser and self-proclaimed housing expert Austan Goolsbee last year advised people to make money by buying homes with no down payment loans and then reselling.

Shock Poll: Jews Now Favor McCain in New York, 54-32

    http://www.commentarymagazine.com/blogs/index.php/jpodhoretz/31061

    I think they got it.

  • D Grace

she has been very good The DNC left her she did not leave them

  • Leisa

No, IMO, Clinton must be on the top of the ticket to win. Just as it is now.

  • James

Lynn owning that horrible woman Campbell Brown on CNN right now.

  • andyfromCA

Just saw her w/ Campbell Brown – who tried her darndest to rattle her but Lynn handled it very word. Especially the last question where Campbell labeled PUMAs as “bitter” – Lynn turned it around on her!!!

    Good job Lynn.

  • fif

Great spokesperson for McCain. I read earlier that she is going to be campaigning and fundraising for him. I know someone who is connected to her and the top HRC fundraisers in NYC. After Hillary suspended, Hillary arranged for these top fundraisers to meet with Obama. He was arrogant and insulting. That’s when he made his famous “get over it” comment. Now, this graceful, intelligent and professional woman is going to be taking her talents and funds to the opposition. Unifier my a*s.

  • Seattle Moss

    Latest from Miller..
    On McCain on the View.

Who knew that Rosie was the genius over there.

  • jackie

Yes. She was able to say what we are all feeling. STOP with the Roe v Wade threats! Enough. It is a non-issue for the reasons she said. She has a lot of courage and I applaud her.

  • http://www.theindependentview.com Matthew Weaver

Campbell Brown just proved she’s a hack for Obama. Very painful to watch her tasteless attack, the cuts to her smirking and condescending smile, and the stupid, sexist “Lady vs. Lady” tag on the screen. What trash…

  • beverly leslie

Go Lynn! What a classy woman!

  • http://medusa2.wordpress.com Medusa

I bet she didn’t order the autographed DVD with their speeches from Bozo’s coronation either.

  • http://www.theindependentview.com Matthew Weaver

Yes, she ‘got over it’ and took her hard-earned money and fundraising talents elsewhere. Obama and the party will rue the day the snubbed everyone so disgracefully.

  • Leisa

Yeah, I know, he teases us with the truth and then puts up sand bags to stave off Obama’s rising tide of bad news.

How long will the MSM cover for him?

I have yet to find a Walter Cronkite in the MSM… To me, it will be the one who consistently and bravely tells the truth day in and day out. Corporate media will keep that from happening.

Reforming the media is a scary thought, but I think that the big $$ corporations owning the media need to be broken up.

IMO, when businesses, individuals and corporations have more money than many governments, we all should be concerned.

  • lark

Was I right or was I wrong when I said this morning that today, Hillary saw a friend run away from her?

  • AF catfish

She was good. Very strong statement, she’ll remain a Democrat but vote McCain.

  • Jane Doe

Campbell tried to say that Lynn was bitter because she won’t support Obama. Lynn simply told her that Obama called people who cling to their guns and religion bitter and called “rednecks” bitter. She concluded by saying that if calling her bitter was the only way they could rationalize her reluctance to vote for Obama then by all means call her bitter.

    It was a great moment!

  • James

    “her smirking and condescending smile”

You don’t even have to listen to Brown’s words. Just looking at her facial expression and mannerisms tells you all you need to know about this woman. She shamelessly and forcefully repeats Obama talking points every show. Can’t stand her.

  • andyfromCA

good point, I haven’t seen Gen. Clarke stumping for the Dems since Obama clinched the nom 3 months ago.

  • WMCB

No, Hillary is privately laughing her ass off, saying, “You GO girl!”

  • pasmalltowngirl

Her interview with Wolf was perfect !!! She will be a great spokemann for McCain.

  • http://noquarterusa.net/ SusanUnPC

Yes, the CNN interview was much more informative.

I think I’ll reverse them. It deserves to be above the fold.

  • trails

Wow. She is a very impressive woman. I hope we hear more from her. Plus, it’s nice to have someone of that stature and poise come out and say what we feel. This hasn’t been easy for me, but this woman makes me proud!

  • http://! Clinton Fan

Yep–Clinton MUST lead the ticket, no matter who the second banana is…

  • Perry Logan

How long can it take to figure out Obama is not a Democrat?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk_fPi-24Iw

  • wodiej

good for Rothschild…wish more like her would get a spine and stand up for what is right for this friggin’ country.

  • http://www.theindependentview.com Matthew Weaver

Governor Palin’s interview now starting on FOX.

  • Phil Murphy

Rothchild was most likely promised an Ambassadorship to the Court of St. James. She did stay in the Whitehouse, and was well placed for this type of position.

Like many of the higher ups in the Hillary Clinton Campaign, which was well done, there will be some that expected more out of it. I believe this ELITE is one of them. All of her arguments for supporting McCain against Obama were fluff. And to call Obama elite, when she can just go down to the basement and get a bottle of wine older than John McCain is just laughable.

I’ve seen it before in other campaigns.

And in this case, if McCain wins, I expect her to get an Ambassadorship..

  • James

Now Rachel Maddow says that the deflection to McCain is actually good for Obama. This lady, the master of spin. And she has our own show now. MSNBC already has a Keith Olbermann, now they have the obnoxious female version of him.

  • audacity

    she can defend herself.

she can take her husband’s, The knight’s sword and cut a few nuts offffffffffffffffffff

    fearless and clear.

she will step down from the committee ……

i expected anyone to do that especially after May 31, when the RBC meeting took place

    she got BALLS

    go PUMA

  • TeakwoodKite

Has any one heard O’Rielly’s book on tape? He narrates a scene with a “detective” sharing a crack pipe with a teenage girl. He is one sick human.

He is in it for the $… What a sea sponge.

Does anyone, at this late date, believe that Obama is gonna get “vetted” by any person in the MSM? It’s a shark tank and unless there is some serious chumming going on, there will be very little thrashing about.

I really like the first video. Rothchild is very old money. It echo’s point for point what Mr. Johnson said recently.

Sadly, Wolfy did not materialize in my browser…No great loss.

  • iVet

So what. Should the ambassador be the Rev. Wright, Emil Jones, Tony Rezko, etc…?

  • WMCB

LMAO! There is a difference between the rich and an elitist. Lynn is no elitist, nor is Warren Buffet. I have known graduate students with moderate incomes who were elitists.

Elitism is an attitude of superiority, and can be based on anything from wealth to education to social status. It’s the attitude, not the money.

  • Phil Murphy

Of course not, but typically you have a set of people who are the “inner circle” for a given candidate that do expect the same access.

Its not a condemnation, but an observation of behavior in a campaign. Take any campaign at any level, and the people that defect after a race is over will often go where they continue to get the access – its a drug.

I know of several mega donors here in San Francisco that give to both sides because of the access to parties and events.

In this case though, I think it has more to do with a continued access to the White House which is what she expected. And if McCain wins, she will be there.

She would probably not be getting access if Obama won – so she moved on.

  • Leisa

Obama shut him up when Wes could have finished McCain in June. That is why Wes is not heard from. His first parley against McCain was shot down by 0′high britches…

It was a good thing too, I don’t want Wes shilling for Obama anymore than I want Hillary to do it.

Obama does not know himself… he has some vaguely good ideas, but his problem is that he has not had time to refine and define his positions or platform through experience. He will not win on his message because he does not quite know himself yet.

He did become a celebrity in the Democratic Party. He has had too many advisers and not enough time actually working in the trenches to help him discover his depth and commitments. That is why he comes across as an empty suit, he is one.

I do not know one coddled celebrity that I would trust to have my back. They are too spoiled and petulant, everything is about how the world is according to them. They loose their compassion and disconnect from the realities everyday people face.

  • Will Smith

Only pervert watch Rachel Maddow when Fox have Palin interview.

  • Eurogirl70

Campbell Brown’s husband worked on the Romney Campaign. Before that he was chief advisor to Viceroy Paul Bremmer in Iraq. Before that he was lead counsel for the Carlyle Group.

That alone tells you how much Obama is soooooo not a Democrat!!

  • TeakwoodKite

I take the Wolfy thing back, SusanUnPc.

    Oh shit! (laughing)

There is the “integrity” word again. oops!

If that was not on the money, I don’t know what is.

  • PFM

Unbelievable the nerve or Ms. Campbell Brown — what an unprofessional journalist.

CNN needs to send her down the same river Matthews and Oberma from NBC.

If you are going to Anchor, at least try to show no bias.

Has she EVER torn down a Democrat on her CNN show? Unbelievable!

  • Karma

    Priceless…good word.

And she did it with such sincerity….even Wolf took it well when she gave him back his stuff…lol

    ~~

    Susan

Thanks for posting the CNN video…I had missed that interview.

  • catherine

Maddow has become such a hack. Sure Rachel, if Obama losing a strong Democratic asset like Lynn to McCain is a good thing for Obama then please continue in your sad delusion.

I should buy stocks with anti-depressant pharmaceuticals now. I can see the Obots are gonna need regular prescriptions for monthS after Nov 4th.

    PUMA

  • Freedom Fighter

Senator Obama does not need some aristocratic socialite like De Rothchild’s endorsement. Rachel Maddow is right, Barack Obama fights for regular folks like Barbara Streissand and George Clooney, not some billionaire’s trophy wife.

  • catherine

“Has she EVER torn down a Democrat on her CNN show? ”

The name Hillary Clinton comes to mind. So to answer your question. Yes.

  • trails

Obama has only himself to blame for female “bitterness.” Most professional politicians would have been on the phone and on the plane to mend fences with major Clinton donors immediately. Not Barky. He can’t see beyond the end of his up-turned nose. And that’s not our fault.

Plus, with McCain on the ballot, we did have someplace to go. And we have.

  • catherine

    EXACTLY!

  • Leisa

Our country is supposed to be the free leader of the world that promotes human rights… women rights are human rights. It is time to walk our talk!

I must say, IMO, Lynn has the heart of a PUMA!!

She said what many of us feel, eloquently and clearly.

    Thank you, Lynn.

God Knows Clooney and Streisand have bank accounts like the rest of us little people. ROFL!!

  • Karma

To be fair, I think she didn’t feel like being Obama’s cash register while being insulted at the same time.

Who really wants to be treated that way?

Access to parties…I doubt the Lady has those probelms.

An administration position certainly could be a motivator. But with her status as a self made woman, her title, history of working for the party, and fundraising skills with connections. Once again place her on those lists anyway.

However, I don’t know enough of her responsibilities to assume she wants such a position.

She certainly contributed to the Democratic party on several levels so without a doubt she was able to see things we are not privy to.

Access to parties and admin jobs are the least of her worries in my opinion.

  • JM (nomobama)

I am impressed with Lynn Forester de Rothschild. Maybe she will consider running for some high office in the future? I’d pay attention to what she has to say.

  • qwerty

I suspect she was ok with the Democratic Party just as long as her money bought her access. Now that it looks like that is not the case anymore she is running to the only party left where you can buy your way in.

  • http://www.flickr.com/photos/7355449@N04/2859476173/ Linda

wOOT! She did GOOD! THANK YOU.

  • WMCB

How idiotic. If Lynn had thrown her weight, influence, money and support behind Obama, she would have been welcomed with open arms, and her longtime position in the party quite secure.

She has risked a lot by this. Admirable woman.

  • Dora Ratquila

I don’t see anything wrong if ever Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild gets appointed Ambassador to the UK or even the UN! If she does, it’s because she deserves it. And the country owes her for being a truthteller and refusing the lethal Kool-Aid drink of the Obots!

  • Ted Kennedy’s Swim Coach

And Lindsay Lohan! She’s, um, like, throwing a fundraiser for him.
She likes to party and score blow just like Obie did at that age, so they have a lot in common.

  • Maverick

She speaks what’s on my mind and middle America got to hear her. Thanks Lynn!

And now for the rush job energy bill by none other than Pathetic Pelosi.
The House introduced new energy legislation late last night. Finally…right? The House also wants to bring the 290-page bill, which can be found here, to the floor today. You think the 435 Members in the House of Representatives are going to meticulously read all 290 pages? A bill that makes fundamental changes to thousands of pages of earlier energy bills as well as the tax code. Please. This isn’t Harry Potter. You can’t just cruise through something as complex as energy policy in one short night. It’s true that Congress should craft an energy policy as expeditiously as possible to lower the costs of energy, but don’t you think there’s a reason that House Democrats are rushing the process?

We can’t be that hasty. Just because the bill mentions drilling doesn’t mean it’s a good bill. The “compromise” bill would set a permanent ban on drilling within 50 miles of the coast while allowing states to decide whether they want to drill or not between 50 and 100 miles. But thanks to the Institute for Energy Research, let’s check out where the oil actually is. The bill would:

This bill will be rammed through with House Republicans having no chance for amendments.

As the article says, and Congressman Lamborn confirms, they will have no opportunity to even read the bill. He did say that it is much worse than doing nothing. Really is it true?
There is little to nothing that outnumbered House Republicans can do to stop this. We will have to hope that Senate Republicans will stop it in the Senate but that’s where the Energy Gang of 20 will come in.

For all of you who know that the majority matters, here’s a good example of why it does. Pelosi controls the agenda, can prevent Republicans from having any say at all in legislation, and can simply ram bad legislation through. I hope you think of the importance of controlling Congress every time you fill up your car.
No one really knows what’s in that bill and I suspect it isn’t in the interest of the American people. I’d wager a bet it blocks any plans that Vice President Palin has for affordable energy. Wasn’t it Hillary who said we need to get off of foreign oil because we are supporting terrorists with oil money? Now how different of a platform is that from Palins? NONE.

  • Ted Kennedy’s Swim Coach

Michelle Obama was “OK” with being proud of her country as long as Barry was running.
Will she still be proud when McCain/Palin win?

  • Dora Ratquila

QWERTY: I hope you stock up on your Kool-Aid cause you will be experiencing major withdrawal symptoms starting on the night of November 4th!

I’ve been saying it during the primaries and I’ll be saying it again: B.O.W.L.* Big Time in November (08)!

    *Barack Obama Will Lose

  • robert

A voice for millions of silent Americans. Thank you, Lynn.

  • Maverick

Who knows what Hillary thinks. She is masking her responses and not putting out any signals either way.

  • Maverick

Hillary is raising money for Obama and others but still has 24 million in debt? Where did our June and July donations go?

  • Maverick

You don’t know the meaning of Elite. You think it a term for only the rich. hahahahaha Can you spell poor condescending snob = elite

  • Prem

Thank you, Lynn, speaking truth, especially about the Dems. holding women hostage with the Roe vs. Wade issue. Way to go! She spoke for me about the enormous challenges that our country face and we need someone with experience in the White House. Mentioning that BHO has never gone up against anyone—yes! She is one articulate, intelligent, “in-the-know” individual. Would love to hear her more with her well-thought out statements about why she is supporting McCain/Palin.

Her statements reflect the heart of the PUMAs, no bitterness or anger, just well thought out decisions, expressed clearly and confidently.

    McCain/Palin ’08
    Hillary 2012

  • Maverick

What is wrong with this Rachel Madcow? Oh she’s a queer elitists..no I’m not homophobic. Ya think she’d support women but NO!

  • Prem

And, another big thank you to Susan for posting this. Good job, as usual, Susan.

  • Maverick

The platform committee of the DNC thugs just dismissed what she had to say at the meeting and treated her like dirt. Why wouldn’t she defect for now?

  • Maverick

Roe V is just another political tool Dems have to keep people in line. I guess she told them NO More!

  • Maverick

Oh and Debra B who is a Clinton delegate defector and who did an ad for Mccain.. WOW PUMA! GROWL

  • Karma

    Heads up…

Lynn Forester de Rothchild is on Fox with Greta.

  • amirosa

Thank you Lynn for speaking for me and thousands who feel the same way. Yes, the Democratic party abandoned us when it chose an arrogant, and inexperienced person whose only interest is his and his group of handlers over an experienced woman who would turn hope into reality for us Americans.

  • fluffy bunny

So, about all those “Hillary will take Biden’s place” rumors…LOL

I think I can stop worrying about that.

Obama’s people are pretty good at planting rumors out there to keep as many Hillary supporters quiet as possible, aren’t they?

  • roseeriter

She’s speaking for a lot of us Hillary supporters/PUMAs!! I wonder if she’s a blogger cause she used so many same ‘reasons’ we’ve all talked about for months..

    NOBAMA!!

  • fluffy bunny

The Romney thing doesn’t surprise me. Romney was kindof the GOP Obama–nasty, nasty supporters.

Gawd, can you imagine what a bitch this “woman” was in high school? shudder

  • allimom99

Just so you know, FF, Lynn was worth $100 million all by herself before gaining her title. So go piss up a rope, idiot. And tell me again how Barbra Streisand and George clooney are just “regular folk?” We ALL own our votes, and you guys said you didn’t need us anyway, so have at it.

  • fluffy bunny

Snort. Acess to high level diplomatic parties? She’s already got it. She also still works a lot in the family business…so I doubt she is trolling for a job. LOL good heavens.

There are people who are so wealthy and powerful that bribes don’t work. I do believe this woman is one of them. As a matter of fact, Obama may have been so classless as to try to make her some kind of offer to get her to support him…and insulted her in the process.

  • Gayle in Oregon

She is fabulous! And like me, she looks at character and history of the people not the promises, as a predictor of future performance. She is says it very, very well and will be a great advocate for Mac and Sarah.

  • DirOfTheObv

Rock on Lady! She fires me up. I’ve seen a couple of the interviews now and this lady has a great head on her shoulders. She’s got it right!

  • kavala007

This is a woman of substance and class who speaks her mind without any hesitation. It is so refreshing.

Thank you Lynn Forester de Rothschild.

  • WMCB

Lady de Rothschild was awesome on Greta.

She specifically referred to the possibility of the Pelosi/Dean/Obama coalition controlling all of Washington, and how that bothered her. (She looked like the prospect of that was DEEPLY troubling.)

That comment will fly over the heads of many on all but the most superficial level, but PUMAS and others know EXACTLY what she was saying. She was saying EFF YOU to their little coup.
Lynn has declared war on the takeover of the DNC by the Children of the Corn, my friends. I’ll bet Nasty Nancy is LIVID.

  • OBushMA!

Lynn went through all the usual PUMA talking points, but she spoke with such calm and grace that they had extra impact. This woman speaks and people listen. BO must be wishing he hadn’t pissed this lady off, cuz she could have been a great surrogate for him instead of all the angry, arrogant “liberals” he surrounds himself with. Hope Hillary and Lynn can work together someday to win the Presidency.

  • http://investigatebarackobama.wordpress.com/about/ kat in your hat

I watched Lynn Forester de Rothschild on Greta and she was outstanding–her best interview because she explains why it would not be a good idea to have a democratic president, and democratic senate majority leader and democratic congress all at once.

She also talked about how people like Pelosi, Reid, and Obama are too far to the left and our country doesn’t do well on either extreme.

  • http://investigatebarackobama.wordpress.com/about/ kat in your hat

    millions

  • socalannie

No, they don’t have one up yet.

Those of you who saw Lady R with Campbell Brownose…

    MORE DETAILS PLEASE!

  • Chicago Joe

I don’t get her. She is married to Dan Senor, one of Bush’s henchmen. So there is some cognitive dissonance here. Anyone know what the story is on that?

  • Diana

She’s a fantastic lady. She knows where she gone, but she’s never forgot where she came from.

  • doc99

Trump endorses McCain. First, de Rothschild, now Trump – it’s been a bad day for Barry.

  • socalannie

I agree. Hillary’s presidential aspirations would be over if Barky wins.

  • makeji

With all due respect to those who blog here, many of us came to these conclusions about Obama on our own. When a friend of mine suggested I visit this blog, I continued to read and sometimes comment because you shared my views.

I suspect there are many independent thinkers out there that don’t blog that feel the same.

It is nice to have such an articulate woman – a major player for the Democrats until now – show some gumption.

  • makeji

Gore has been sending out emails to people asking for money for Obama – where have you been? He introduced Obama before his speech.

  • txpolitico67

unsurpassed CLASS this woman has! hell SHE SHOULD run for office i would vote for her in a second! I hope that Donkey Brazire is snorting and fuming at this fabulous woman.

F*ck Obama. And all the STOOPID people who support him.

btw, loved how she ribbed Wolfie at the end, “YOU’RE THE ELITE NOT ME!”

  • Diana

I donated mine to Hillary’s website, then posted the receipts. Was there another website collecting for it?

  • http://! VetGirl

Oh how lovely! She speaks well for me.

I’m not voting to win a favorable opinion from anyone. I’m voting for my country’s future.

  • Nicole

Exactly! FDR, a man of wealth and priviledge, was no elitist. It’s been amusing, today, to read all the silly Obamatwits not understand the distinction between the two. I’ve always maintained, and still do, that Obama’s supporters are the true “low-information voters.”

  • Indyvoter

Obama doesn’t need her just like he doesn’t need us!

  • RalphB

That’s a really good question. I would like to know if those donations went to pay off her debt and, if so, why it’s still so much.

  • http://chriss chris

Anyone watch Hannity and Colmes? Palin’s interview was excellent. After, K Rove was analyzing. He gave her good marks and then took Allan out and gave him a good whuppin for some of his stupid (Allan’s) remarks. Told Colmes he was embarrassing himself which didn’t sit too well with Allan. I thought he was going to cry. I was laughing. Was one of the best H and C shows I’ve seen in awhile.

  • Lindsy

Donald Trump endorsed McCain for President tonight on Larry King Live. Aside from the media trashing McCain all day because of the Wall Street Crisis, it’s been a good day on the endorsement front.

  • Nicole

Hey keyboard, I got a big laugh at your comment, particularly this: “…Now that it looks like that is not the case anymore she is running to the only party left where you can buy your way in.” Considering how many corporations and billionaires have bought clear passage into the New Democratic Party, your nifty irony is priceless. What a clever little boy you are, keyboard.

  • Nicole

    Nope!

  • db

Okay Maverick, you’re not homophobic, then call Rachael Maddow something other than queer. You only get to use that word if you are one!

  • LandOLincoln

“How long can it take to figure out Obama is not a Democrat?”

Good question. Some of us have known that for months; some may never get it.

Us PUMAs are the real Democrats now.

  • C.S.

But Phil, didn’t you hear her say that she came from a similar middle class background like Soetoro/Obama; only not as well off. Her mom and dad both worked to send their children to college.

Soetoro/Obama’s grandparents were wealthy enough to send him to a private school in Hawaii and his mother married a well do do Indonesian (in spite of the food stamp story).

So, if you blame Lynn Forester de Rothschild for marrying well, you gotta chastise Soetoro/Obama for his elite upbringing (but that does explain that nose in the air).

That’s one of the worst traits of Soetoro/Obama and his campaign; that same sick double standard they use that so reminds me of GWB.

  • LookingForwardTo2012

Well, I am so impressed with Lynn Forester de Rothschild. And yes, she shares the same opinion of those of us who cannot vote for Obama and see John McCain as the honorable, intelligent, selfless and competent choice for President.

    McCain/Palin 2008
    Clinton/Clark 2012

  • Pink Panther

I love this woman! What a model of integrity.

  • LandOLincoln

Nonsense. Forester de Rothschild did this with Hillary’s full support and blessing.

And there will be others, just wait and see.

  • Nicole

    And Mean Michelle, too.

  • John

    Was Donald Trump on?

  • LandOLincoln

    “Phil Murphy,”

What a patronizing and transparent little Obot you are to be sure.

Give it up. Your guy is being taken down from within the party, and it’s about time. He’s no Democrat, he’s a Trojan horse candidate backed by some very shady people, and that’s been obvious for some time to anyone who was paying attention.

Of course it doesn’t hurt to have grown up in Illinois and to have lived in Chicago for awhile… ;)

It’s been a while since I visited this soooooo informative website….It’s nice to know that nothing’s changed….Obama’s still the “dangerous”,”racist”,”naive”,”empty suit”, that he was weeks ago….No quarter!!… It’s also nice to know that the “we just don’t trust HIM” Hillary crowd is still soooooo energized..I see Susan’s columns which give props to: Fox News, McCain, Palin(?) and anyone/everyone else who “understands how WE feel”….And let’s not forget Special-Ops Larry..He’s laying out the paper-trail of donations by Fannie Mae, AIG and Lehman Brothers EMPLOYEES (well he failed to mention the employee part)..He connects the dots to totally convince us that $400K in donations really influences an Obama campaign. Of course he does this in the same blog which teases him for collecting $9 Million last night…Could it be that Obama’s numbers may outweigh McCain’s from ALL-QUARTERS?..Nah, no way. It’s not like his campaign has raised more money than any other in Presidential election history..Let’s see $165K (from Fannie Mae) divided into $800 MILLION equals a corrupted Senator due to campaign contribution influence?..Oh well, if none of that works, we can always go with: PUMA…PUMA!

Wow, I loved it when Lynn Forester de Rothschild said Blitzer the “elite.” She got that right.

    McCain/Palin ’08
    Hillary ’12

  • street_parade

Well given that she has stuck it out as a Democratic fund raiser through YEARS of Democratic drought, I’d say that you are wrong in you assessement, sweetie.

  • street_parade

Sweetie, all Lehman Brothers, Fannie Mae and AIG are IS employees. Didn’t you know that?

There is no Mr. Lehman Brothers, Ms. Fannie Mae or A.I. Gee to write a check. There is also no Mr. Starbucks or Santa Claus for that matter. Not to burst your balloon or anything.

And since, like all Obots, all you are impressed with is how much money he raised. You might want to ask yourself, where all that money came from. Oh, that’s right, the little people. SURE it did.

  • Lochos Vestu

Thank you, Lynn Forester. You are such a class act like Hillary herself. You speak so well for all of us Hillary supporters who are anti-Obama.

    HILLARY ’12!!!

  • Lochos Vestu

She is McCain’s (and previously Hillary’s) answer to that Obama hack, Caroline Kennedy! Shame on you, Caroline Kennedy, for abusing your family’s and father’s good name for Obama!

They say Caroline is such a class act, but Lynn Forester trumps Caroline Kennedy by miles!

    HILLARY ’12!!!

  • JP

    I absolutely LOOOOVEEEE her!!!

    YESSSSSSS!!!!!!

She is talking PUMA and saying why we are concerned with Obama and why we will not vote for him!!!

    YEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

  • Amalia

Lynn for Hillary’s Senate seat in 2012! she is AWESOME!

  • IronMan

    Amen, Lynn!!

The good thing about Hillary Clinton, Maverick, whatever she is thinking is good for the USA and Democratic Party. She is very measured in her words because they have been misrepresented too many times and even if it seems she has gone into hibernation right now, she will RISE.

  • mimi

I had read where 0bama made comments like this to the Women’s Congressional Caucus in June. I thought it was reprehensible, disgusting and sexist. But I thought, these are politicians, after all, they have to eat shit from time to time.

Are you now telling me that he said the very same thing to women with money that he was trying to get them to part with?

What a colossal, woman-hating idiot he is!

Please everyone, let’s defeat this prick!

  • Pat Rollie

Oh my gosh, what a class act! It feels great that she is a spokesperson for my thoughts!!!

  • TeakwoodKite

Can I be a thophy Kite? … A billion dollars would pay a lot forward.

    BO is so fired. LOL

In the Campbell brown interview it was obvious that neither Campbell Brown nor her producers had read the original WSJ article in which the word elitist was used, as the article clearly draws a distinction between elitism and privilege. If you have read the original article, it is clearly a lack of journalistic integrity to simply say that Lynn called Obama an elitist and leave it at that. I sent a comment to CNN saying this.

FYI here is the original article:

I’m so sick of that question

  • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

    THIS IS PRETTY BIG!

  • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

The Bush family endorsed Romney as aggressively as they endorsed Obama.

  • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

She has a title. Obama would be kissing her ass for that and for her political connections, if he won. There was little incentive for her to stick her neck out. I think she did what she thought was right.

  • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

A friend of mine considers herself better than most women, because she is a single mother and has a PhD. But she could only do that because her father let her live in his second home rent free, often watched her child, and he cosigned all her loans. The last might not mean all that much to some of you, but I’ve been surprised by how many people in this country have no one at all. It’s hard to raise a child absoultely alone. Regardless, I would never cast judgment on people less fortunate than me. And while my friend makes $40K a year in WV, I would consider her an elitist based on what she says about most people.

  • Snickers

Yes we need a Teddy Roosevelt to file anti trust suits against many of these corporations.

  • Zelda Crunch

On Fox News with Neil Cavuto

Oh if it’s with Cavuto I will pass. I love Lynn but I can’t ever make up my mind whether Cavuto is male, female, somewhere in between, or just a wet rag chicken monster.

  • JED

“Let me tell you what informs my support of John McCain” – who talks that way?! You know it when you see it alright!

So its big news that the black candidate (who holds identical positions to the white candidate she formly supporter) is uppity to this woman. Shocker. At Lynn Forester de Rothschild’s country club they prefer Cindy McCain at the table and Michele Obama serving it.

Forget rednecks, Obama’s election in November means this trophy wife’s husband will finally pay his fair share of taxes. That’s democractic.

    Maverick-
I agree with your ROE comment.

I cant take credit for this observation (see below) -an astute blogger on another thread pointed out the following:

(He talked about how Community organizers seize power a step at a time but I apply it to tyrants, fascists and others trying to seize power)

    1. Use the democracy to get to the power,
    2. Fail to deliver promised benefits,
    3. Entice your power base to subvert democracy in order to get more power because the insufficient power is the only reason the promised benefit did not realized,
    4. Get as close to totalitarism as possible because, again, the only reason community organizer (by now the great and dear leader) could not deliver on his promises is insufficient power and enemies of the people
    5. Bring country to disaster
Out of all major countries that had this experience in the last century (Russia, Italy, Germany and USA) only this country managed to retain its democratic form of government even if we’ve got the president for life. Mercifully it lasted only 13 years.
I believe that due to a number of reasons Obama will never get to accomplish step 1 of the sequence, but in case he will I hope our institutional strength in freedom and democracy will prevent him from succeeding in step 3

    End of bloggers observation…

    Phil Murphy,
Read this article for a real definition of elitism-

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122109030550621451.html

An excerpt from this editorial written by Lynn Forester de Rothschild

“While Obama supporters attempt to dismiss the charges about their candidate’s perceived hauteur, they confuse privilege and elitism.

Elitism is a state of mind, a view of the world that cannot be measured simply by one’s net worth, position or number of houses.

Throughout American history, there have been extremely wealthy figures who have devoted themselves to genuinely nonelitist principles. (Franklin Delano Roosevelt is probably the best-known example.)

At the same time, many from modest backgrounds, like Harry Truman’s foil, Thomas Dewey, personified elitism.”

    End of excerpt.

And …learn about Lynn’s mother and father- she came from a self-made family that started out with next to nothing.

Lynn may be rich but she is not elite.

Sen Obama is not as rich as Lynn but HE IS ELITE-as per Lynn’s definition-which I agree with.

It is Sen Obama who is elite.

    James-
Don’t know if you listen to Randi Rhodes-
I was a fan of hers for many years.
I stopped listening to her a few months ago.
The misinformation and lies that she has begun spouting on the radio against McCain/Palin &

in support of Obama blew me away. I always viewed her as a broadcaster with integrity.

I felt disillusioned when I realized what she was doing and what she had become but…I switched the dial and turned her off.

  • athy

    qwerty,
what do you base your speculative political attack on…

“I suspect she was ok with the Democratic Party just as long as her money bought her access. Now that it looks like that is not the case anymore she is running to the only party left where you can buy your way in.”

Do you know something that others dont?
PLease provide links to your source(s) of facts.

Here are highlights as to why I am not voting for Sen Obama

  • Kelvin Hearts PUMAs

Rothschild is a hater just like the rest of you PUMAs. She has a sense of entitlement that will go unfulfilled like you PUMA’s didn’t. You see, in this election the good guy will win. And that’s Obama. He’s already taken back the lead in most major polls and he will widen it in the coming days. Palin has been exposed as a no-nothing empty skirt and that will become more apparent over the next 2 months. Even republican pundits are now second guessing her selection. I tried to warn you. Your stubbornness and ignorance will be the undoing of you PUMAs. Mom always said “that a hard head makes a soft ass”.

    …………………
    ha. ha. ha.

she and her husband have enough money between them to more than pay for the entire bailout -*themselves*.

think reallllllly hard before you think she’s not an elitist. she wouldn’t speak to any of you who are foolish enough to agree with her about obama. she probably just thinks he’s ‘uppity’ and you know what that means.

    pox on all of you

    …………………………

o, no, not at all. of course not. minor british royalty, assets well north of….gee, the *entire* dollar amount the bailout of other rich overpaid people will cost us, the poor taxpayers.

she wouldn’t talk to us middle class folks if we were drowning in her champagne. excuse me, ‘the family wine’. which just only sells for hundreds of dollars a bottle, if it’s from this century. earlier, thousands.
