Seems the only sacrificing will be done by the American citizens, not one of the elite even know we are having trouble. How bizarre!!

If I were married to Barack Obama, I would want as many vacations away from him as possible. That said, I think MO could’ve picked many, many places in the US to get away on a mother-daughter-bonding trip or a consolation-for-a-grieving-friend trip or whatever-the-hell-her-excuse-is-today trip. Now they are saying it wasn’t 40 friends, but only 4. So my question is: then who stayed in those 60 rooms they reserved? Was it for Saudi royalty? Qatar officials?

Even if the Obamas had paid for every dime of that trip themselves (haha, what a fantasy!), the exorbitant amount of money would have been better spent right here at home. Granted, it wouldn’t settle the national debt, but it would send a positive signal to our nation that its First Family cares. The fact that they didn’t do that is more proof that they don’t give a skinny rat’s ass about anyone but themselves.

America needs a high-colonic  plus a Constitutional antibiotic to rid ourselves of the parasitic tendencies of our two national giant tapeworms.

The hypocrisy of the obamabots is also easy to see now.  When Chelsea had her wedding those with CDS went postal about how expensive the wedding was, despite the fact that nobody knew any details about the cost, while pricing Michelle’s jaunt is a slam dunk.

I think Michelle wanted an ocean between she and Barack.  I get the feeling they are fighting.

The “cleansing” routine is probably a fad introduced by Opray’s Dr. Oz. It is supposed to be a weight loss ritual, especially for belly fat. Michelle may debunk his theory.
As to the Obamas not spending time to together, since I cannot stand either of them, I may finally have one thing in common with both!

All of those strange things happening right around the same time  with the Obama’s marital “happiness” under the spotlight.

In summertime for casual events, pantyhose don’t make sense and since she always wears her dresses too short, knee highs won’t work either…her shoes must be sprayed regularly.  But for formal, evening affairs, she should wear hose.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything but greasy legs.

Obama’s marriage is none of your business – so she takes a vacation with friends (which, by the way, was the reason for her taking it…a friend of hers recently lost a parent and ASKED Michelle to join her and others for a family vacation, with their kids – Michelle did not select the location, she went along).  Besides, we pay for the security of all past presidents and their families – such as Bill Clinton, who had an extra detail at the recent 6 figure wedding of his daughter – but then again, who cares what others spend, its only Obama that is slammed for everything.

I would like an accounting of just how much this trip really cost. Advance teams of Secret Service have to ensure a safe site, rooms surrounding the Obamas have to be secured by Secret Service, and what about all the staff she took along, who is footing their bills? They’re all government workers, remember? The flight of AF2 back and forth was probably just a drop in the bucket, what is the real cost? That being said, I have a feeling that Michelle Obama does pretty much what she wants to do, and if any of the WH staff would haved dared to voice objection to this trip, I’m sure there would have been hell to pay for that person.

Maybe MObutt knew how much coverage this trip would get and used it to cover for her daughter.  It would seem that the daughter’s troubles are more than just a little bad behavior at school.  That could be handled easily by telling the truth.  Most families have a child that has a little trouble with behavior at school and people would give it a pass.  This has to be something huge to garner the black out by the press.

Her parents failed to teach her much of anything relating to civilized behavior, apparently.

I agree, FLDemFem. This is not an unusual situation for Schools like Sidwell to have to handle. The girls are transitioning from one kind of school environment to another. If they need extra help making the transition, the school (Sidwell) suggests remedies, and the parents act on the suggestions.

The author leaves out the juciest bit of the saga; the Obama State Department advising all Afro-Americans not to travel to Spain because of danger of being arrested….. on a Monday and the notice being summarily and hastily removed on the Tuesday. A cynic might say that the danger of arrest to ordinary black Americans, ( or at the very least the danger of them being racially abused by an overly racist people), was ignored to avoid any embarrassment to the Big-time-party-girl-FLOTUS. Does anyone believe that this warning notice to American tourists would have been removed had FLOTUS not jetted to the Iberian hot-spot. Spain has many beautiful people, but a lot of them show great antagonism to those they deem of ‘wrong’ colour. Sad but true.

Rather ironic, in that, the Kings ancestor Ferdinard sent Columbus across the great blue sea. After all, that would be fair, as the Spanish treasury in Europe benefited immensely from such ‘work’ in the colonies….

this picture really empahsises how bad FLOTUS looks now.  In this picture she was shapely and her make-up and hair looked presentable.  These days she always looks as if she just crawled out of bed, threw on some clothes and put a rubber band around her hair. Clearly this woman no longer cares about her appearance.  I can believe that she has a substance abuse problem.

Marie…uh…I mean Michelle Antoinette is our Queen.  It is not the place of we common serfs to question her travels, whehter or not she is in the company of King Obama.  Personally, I delight in the opportunity to cleanse myself in the manner of Michelle Antoinette as I have been indulging in too much rich Spanish food as of late.  Also, I envy the Spaniards on the beach who were pushed aside so that our Queen could swim.  If only I could be so disrespected.

I don’t think he fools around. Every human being needs physical affection – touching, hugging, cuddling, etc. Michelle acts as if she can’t stand to be near her husband. There was a video on the internet recently (I think it was during the visit to the Spy Museum) that caught the Obamas in a candid moment. (I don’t think the Obamas were aware they were being filmed.) Obama was trying to give Michelle a hug or out his arms around her. She kept pushing him away.

Obama is a needy person. He didn’t have a normal childhood. His mother abandoned him. No wonder he hugs his daughters so often. He’s hungry for human contact.

Obama relies on Michelle more than anyone knows. The fact that she has “abandoned” him repeatly is dangerous for Obama’s emotional well being. No wonder he’s so thin.

What I see is that from the date she learned that she’s moving into the White House, she already things she’s the second coming of Jackie Kennedy. She thinks she is, and she would BE the black Jackie Kennedy. Hence all the flaunting and obssessing with coutour designer clothing, hobnobbing with stars and celebrities to live up to all that glitz and glamour. It’s all so tacky.
