Well, I’m not an Obamatron, but HELLO anyway! ^___^ Another awesome vid, as usual.

    • Dawnelle

      {{Patsyyyyyyyyy}}

      • btintaos

        Congresswoman Patsy. That’s right.

        • Dawnelle

Patsy is too REAL to be interested in being a POL

but she’s a wonderful POINT GUARD (of which I humbly share foxhole any day) for the cause of what is RIGHT!

          OORAH!!

of course if she ran, I’d be a HUGE cheerleader!

        • richasis

          my thoughts EXACTLY!

          daaaayyyyuuuuummm…

  • obamaphobe

    WooHoo…go Soldier4. Lovin’ it!!!

    • Maverick

Heee Haw! LOL {{{smiling big}}} Goooo Patsy. This was the best yet! giggle.

    • mary

You go, Patsy! Your beliefs are mine and those of millions of other little ‘cracks’.

Come November these 18 million Hillary-cracks will shatter the DNC ceiling and Donna, Dean and Nancy (the terrible trio!) will be picking up the pieces. As for Obamarama, a cure for Obamyopia’s on the way!

Great vid and Patsy, you should go into politics. Don’t misplace your passion. You’ll make a great congresswoman! And one day…..Sen. Patsy….go for it, gal!

    • John House

This reality scares me. It scares me that four years after I was rabidly against Bush that I’d be fluffing his party’s pillows.

But you know what? Their pillows are very, very soft.

      • Dawnelle

        lol yea think?

        j/k ;-)

        • John House

Yeah, while Obama and his mama Donna told me to GTFO and threw me out into the cold, John and Sarah welcomed me into their guesthouse with a 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton sheeted Cali King bed, a minibar and a widescreen TV with HD cable.

Here’s one. Four years ago I would have been thrilled to witness the meltdown of the Democratic Party. Now my heart breaks for what you all are going through. It goes both ways John. Funny.

        • John House

And four years ago I hated you for wanting to see the meltdown. I still don’t trust all Republicans, but that would go the same for ANY politician now, Dem or Repub. At the moment I just know what feels right, and supporting the Democratic party just doesn’t feel right to me, so for the moment, you have my help.

And my hunch is that Bill Clinton feels the same way (about the Democrats), but he’s not running for anything; his wife has to keep with this trainwreck lest she be cast out like Joe Lieberman.

          • JB

            John,

I think you will find Republicans more hospitable to the idea of limiting politicians’ power, especially these days. I doubt many would blink at Congressional term limits, and earmarking is big with the conservative base.

America needs to reform Washington. Throw the bums out!

          • http://www.stillstacy.com Stacy The Republican

Heck, I don’t trust all Republicans. Politics and prostitution. So very similar.

            • jwrjr

I vote for the person, not the Party. There are Republicans here (N.C.) that I will vote against (Dole being a main example). I expect to vote for McCain/Palin. The person(s), not the Party.

        • Dan

There are plenty of rational Democrats out there. The problem is that the party has been taken over by the fruitbat left just as was the case in 1972 with George McGovern. These people need to be purged, and a loss to McCain in November would be the kick-in-the-nuts catalyst that would allow the moderates (i.e. the grown-ups) to reassume control.

        • Jess Terr

          Great video.
The silver lining here is that NObama opened a dialogue between MOST Americans, moderate Democrats and Republicans. Does it suck to be a Democrat? Yes. Does it suck to be an American. NEVER.

Monitor the vote and the vote count.
          COUNTRY FIRST!!!

          • Linda OKC

I agree with that assessment. We have become much more conversant with our republican foes haven’t we. Still don’t agree with them on the issues but that is not sufficient cause for me to vote for a Chicago thug.

      • SFhillary

It should scare you. It’s insane. Thank God there aren’t many of you.

        http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/state/article818181.ece

Palin drives Florida undecideds to Obama. Yay!

        • looking for integrity

hmmmmm, they are still on the fence…

          • SFhillary

They are centrists and they hate Palin. Thankfully.

            • Hill Dem 4 McPalin

LOL. It’s 11 people, hardly a scientific sample. And not indicative of the shifts found in real polls. Indies are trending towards McCain.

              • SFhillary

Can you show me one poll that shows indies trending toward McCain? There have been literally DOZENS of polls this week that show indies trending toward Obama. You are fantasizing if you think otherwise.

                • Seattle Moss

                  Pew poll out today
McCain leads with independents 51% to 49% Obama lead by 18 points a month ago

                  • John House

Looks like SF has been hit with a sudden case of the crickets.

                    • tzada

We need to give sf a case of the cold shoulder if not he gets bonus points for derailing this conversation.

          • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

            http://www.realclearpolitics.com/horseraceblog/2008/09/the_state_of_the_race.html

We also see a group of undecided voters who have not yet made a choice. They will probably be decisive. In a race with only two salient candidates – the goal is to hit 50%-plus-one. Both McCain and Obama can still do that via the undecided voters, who are becoming the critical voting block.

        • http://puppy Prican

St Petersburg Times most liberal newspaper in Florida and most bias, not credible. Just like NY Times or LA Times.

        • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

It’s pretty obvious where the opposition is coming, and I find them more frightening. Sarah Palin has a loving husband and immediate family who help her with childcare. But this mother of five in Florida is overworked, underpaid and by the sound of it has a layabout spouse. She feels the same way as many of these so-called feminists: it’s offensive that a woman can accomplish so much, because it sets the bar too high in their minds. And women should not reach so high. Their job is with their family. This woman comes right out and says it. That’s why I like the new Republican party; they celebrate their strong, smart and ambitious women.

“I’m truly offended by Palin,” said 37-year-old Republican Philinia Lehr of Largo, a full-time mother with a nursing degree who voted for George Bush in 2004. Like Palin, she has five children and she doesn’t buy that the Alaska governor can adequately balance her family and the vice presidency.

“You’re somebody’s mom and what are you going to do, say, ‘Excuse me, country, hold on?’ … She’s preaching that she’s this mom of the year and taking that poor little baby all over everywhere. And, you know, what she’s doing to her 17-year-old daughter is just appalling.” Lehr said she’s bothered by the way Palin’s pregnant daughter has been brought into the national spotlight.

          • Soldier of Christ

Well, Hope Float—-I guess that person who stated that doesn’t see that when you make good money- there is a word call NANNY. Unfortunately, they are just jealous because not only is Palin smart but has a face like an angel and probably their husband are staying up at night to see her every chance they get!

        • John House

LOL, aren’t many of me? I guess you’re just trying to stir up crap here as you usually do.

“I’m truly offended by Palin,” said Republican Philinia Lehr, 37, of Largo, a full-time mother with a nursing degree who voted for George Bush in 2004. Like Palin, she has five children and she doesn’t buy that the Alaska governor can adequately balance her family and the vice presidency.

Yes, it’s THOSE types of Republican women who are 1) jealous that Palin got so far in her CAREER while she also managed to have a family and 2) want to keep women where THEY are and they think they belong: At home, raising a family without a real career.

Get over it, SFHillary. These “Republican women” aren’t your friends, either.

          • PamFlorida

            Misery loves company!

        • Carol

It kind of left the impression with me that some of them were still undecided, so don’t get your hopes up too much.

        • Pink Panther

Obama’s campaign rally was interrupted by a group of African Americans in Coral Gables, Fl.

They were clear about their dislike of Obama and not on the fence.

        • mary

          SFHillary

Congrats, ObamaTroll! I heard about your 50C per hour raise, bringing you all the way up to 8.00/hr. blogging for The Cool Misogynist Dude Obamarama! Hey, man, when are you gonna give up your sinking titanic….

      • Soldier of Christ

John House, if you would have asked me 3 years ago what do I think of President Bush, my answer would have been so nasty that you could not put it on this blog. Sometimes our G-d humbles people and makes them look up to see the evil. And there is a bunch of that in the democrat party. A friend said to me “What you like Bush?” And I said , “gosh I think I was possessed or something but I do now.” How elections change people…. Have you ever wonder why the Torah and the New Testament call dark forces demons? Demo…..ns? Demo…crats. Pretty close, I say. Thank G-d I am independent now.

        • WildChild

not demo..ns, but rather d-men: The devils men. not to be confused with the latin root dem, for people.

        • John House

Don’t get me wrong, I still hate Bush. The man’s an idiot. HE is the real example of how “ANYONE could be President” (to quote Poehler and Fey from last week).

So with that in mind, I’m perfectly willing to hand over the country to a WOMAN who can speak properly and has poise and grace under fire. A woman like Palin.

          • DAB

Paln’s interview with Hannity was excellent. Granted he was on her side and didn’t play gotcha but rather had a conversation with her that revealed a lot of what she’s like. My assessment is that she is a tough, articulate, intelligent person with her head on straight.

Oh yeah, and she actually seems happy unlike Obama’s spouse who seems to wear a perpetual scowl.

      • DAB

Who woulda thunk it — strange world today.

      • http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/ trixta

A vote for McCain amounts to reforming of both Parties.

We have the same lists. Did Fox change or did I? Who cares, as Sheryl Crowe sang at the Big Rock Concert in the Sky “A change, a change’ll do you good, a change will do you good.” Though not the one she was singing about.

      • Dawnelle

I love that song and many others by her. I hate to ask but what is she? R or D or old D turned I or I or what?

        • Kara

she is a HUGE Barky fan. He likes to use her “Change” song at rallies, when he’s not playing “99 Problems and a Bitch Ain’t one of Them” that is.

        • CC Cane

Sheryl Crowe? She bathed in the Kool-aid.

I used the 3 CD’s of hers I had to scrape bird crap off my car then threw them away.

No celebrity that’s endorsed Barky is allowed in this house!

I realized that CNN etc. had become totally toxic when I happened onto Fox and thought ‘how refreshingly balanced!’ I don’t care that their pundits are polarized, so long as they say where they are coming from. They aren’t perfect, but they do a lot better job than the rest of the msm.

        • no vote for Oblabla

I, too, am now a staunch defender of McCain/Palin. I don’t try to win my argument with my Dem friends through scare tactics nor with insults (uh um, like some people we know). My friends are scratching their heads trying to figure out how this happened. I woke up, they didn’t.

          Amen.

And right now Obama is tearing at the fibers of the American Fabric trying to break us apart.

He will denegrate our nation to others and try to use our reproductive rights for his advantage.

Remember he pays the women on his staff 87 cents per dollar her pays the men on his staff.

John McCain has More women on his staff and pays women on his staff $1.04 per dollar her pay the men.

For McCain is is all about seniority not gender.

    • Marie

      ditto
I am still a tree-hugging bleeding-heart Democrat, but because of racist Obama and his racist ignorant thugs, I am now totally against affirmative action.
I used to donate alot to this cause. Not any more. Never again!

      • http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/ trixta

Marie—affirmative action means giving opportunity to unrepresented minorities WHO ARE QUALIFIED. Obama does not meet this minimum requirement. Obama cheated and intimidated his way to the nomination. Affirmative action had nothing to do with it.

    • NH woman

      Ain’t it the truth !!!

      • http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/ trixta

Funny, my best friend (from high school) and I parted ways because of politics (she’s a staunch Republican), but now I’m tempted to call her up to say that “I’m voting for the McCain/Palin ticket. This weird election could actually be the basis for rekindling an old friendship.

On the other hand, if she is one of those Repubs voting for Obama this time around we will be on opposing sides once again.

    • http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com InsightAnalytical-GRL

I noticed the trashing of Hillary by Buzzflash starting, and a couple of weeks later, on the weekend, I was so appalled by a headline that was shrieking across the top, that I wrote them immediately and ended my association with them.

I had started writing back in 2001, then did the World Watches and various essays. Well, I didn’t want to be associated with the sort of thing that was going on.

      That’s when I started my own blog, which I hope you’ll visit….

Love Soldier4Hillary! Soldier should be running for president rather than that gutless plastic jesus at the top of the ticket. Barack’s claim to fame is that he is a Chicago politician – the city that is the worst political dump in the country.

Soldier4, run for office. Your country needs you.

    • tek

AnnS: Right you are! But Soldier would not be able to run on the Dem ticket because SHE’S A WOMAN and the Dems are totally sexist.

      • John House

Well the Republicans–particularly McCain–have opened up the opportunity for her to run as a legitimate black Republican American. Recall, the first balcks who ran for congress back in the day WERE Republican. MLK Jr. was a Republican.

I say that this is all just…brilliance on the part of McCain. The Republicans will take back their party, and in effect give the Democrats the opportunity to “take back” their party (though I somehow doubt that the Dems want to go back to their origins).

      • AnnS

        When you’re right, you’re right.

The Dems hatred of strong and competent women is pathologic and this is one former socialist-leftist leaning female who will never again support this contemptible excuse for a political party, given my aversion to fascism and mccarthyism.

          • Karma

I have been listening to Fox on Sirius too.

In fact…just changed the preset for it the other day it was such a habit.

While driving the other day, clicked it over to CNN for a bit and started talking back at the lies. Had to click it back to Fox to mellow myself out…lol.

Anyway, didn’t realize the other Fox station was there or that Hannity was on the Patriot channel, thanks for the tip.

        • Jackie

          Scary isn’t it.

          • just me

Yes Fox at home and Fox in the car!!
I have not had music on for nearly 12months…
and I sit on the drive to listen till something finishes yet it’s 2 seconds inside but worry too much I will miss something.

            LOL

            What a life…

      Agreed with Ann S

Soldier4Hillary – You go, girl….to congress!….You speak from the heart, authentically and without bias. Your strength and intelligence is much needed. Try to run for a seat soon…..you’ve got what it takes. And, most of all, you really care–a Hillary girl!!!!

  • Katherine

She’s awesome. Pretty funny and spot on!

    Patsy,

Once again you say it so well. The bots just can’t figure it out – No Way, No How, Nobama.

  • tek

O love this woman!! She has said in such an eloquent way the things I was trying to explain to my husband just yesterday about why I CANNOT VOTE FOR OBAMA!!
I will make him watch this video.

    Soldier4Hillary: You Go Girl!

    P. S. McCain’s message on the economy today is resonating with lots of people. Obama just got up and pointed at Paulson and Bernanke and said, “What they said.”

    • Maverick

Like Governor and soon to be Vice President Palin said” He’s always blaming and pointing his finger, but has never lifted a finger to help fix things?” ~paraphrased~

Hey Seattle Moss, is the moss part because it’s so damp here?

    • Seattle Moss

      Katherine..
Folks that live here in the Pacific Northwest don’t use umbrellas. That’s only for tourists..
As a result during the winter months I grow a nice layer of moss on my back. Right now it could use a little watering as it’s been so dry and nice this summer.
Now if you want to talk about my web feet that’s another topic.

      • Dawnelle

        roflol

being from Florida I know MOSS

        I also know webbed feet!!!

we get a LOT of rain don’t cha know

(glad to be back up in the MTNS, but there is moss here as well)

        • Seattle Moss

          Dawnelle
Are you here in Washington state?

      • Carol

I lived all my life on the west side of the Oregon Cascades and had moss on my back, but now I live on the High Desert of Central Oregon and have lost the moss, but I must admit I sometimes miss the rain.

        • http://deleted Buzz Latte

This is coming in late but I grew up and have lived in WA state until a few years ago. I miss it!!!

I miss the rain!! I fall asleep to thunderstorms and rain on the ipod every night.

Seattle Moss, you’re right. No one uses an umbrella.

Our neighbors think I’m nuts because I go stand out in the rain – WHEN it rains here. Perhaps I should not stand in the front yard!

I even start watching Twin Peaks DVDs in October, just so I can see the weather/scenery in the opening shots.

I also learned to be a Democrat in WA state and knew that the extreme left was socialist. It is a real surprise to people where I am now. They can’t believe that the West Coast is so in the tank for Obama.

But the numbers are beginning to get close in Oregon – 4 pt spread.

Damn. I’ve never voted republican, but will do so this GE. I don’t think of it as voting for a Republican as much as for the best choice.

          • Seattle Moss

            Thanks for the comment Buzz..
I was just walking out the door.
I moved to Seattle because I love the cool air. I don’t watch the weather forecasts as it’s always a combination of sun and clouds with maybe a sprinkle of rain.
I have a tree outside my house that has an abundance of green moss growing on it. if you look up close at the moss it has it’s own complex ecosystem like a forest with many varieties and little creatures living in the moss forest.
I love all creatures big and small and like to walk lightly protecting what I can.
I got a big heart for nature but realize that we have enemies that can obliterate all that we love in an instant.
That is why I’m for McCain..The stakes are that high and we live in a cruel unforgiving world where the fittest including nations survive or fall.
            Have a wonderful weekend!

          “Keep going, keep going
When you hear the dogs coming
          Keep going, keep going”

I think she said it was from the Underground Railroad days, or a poem about it.

          • Dawnelle

            ohhhh ok

            thanks

          • mary

Didn’t Hillary refer to Sojourner Truth? I am not sure but it was the underground railroad and thousands escaped safely to Canada where they’ve made it their home. Nova Scotia has a large population of such ‘escapees’ to freedom. The Loyalists established well in the upper Colonies! Too bad Obama hasn’t been given a one-way ticket to the Colonies! Ah, well, come November we may have to wave our handerkchiefs at The Rapper-Wannabe who’s used to dusting his worthier opponents off his dainty shoulders and scraping them off his shoes. What a poseur! The Megalomaniac of the Year Award belongs to Obamarama for sure!

  • Paul3triple

who cares about bush now. It is a new day and a new era. McCain/Palin can remake the party and bring it to promise now.
McCain no matter how hard they try is just not an average republican. Nor is Palin.
They have fought their party tooth and nail on principle.
She had the stae of alaska’s GOP party chairman fired and fined for corruption.
She defeated an imcumbant republican governor because he was screwing the poeple.
    A team of Mavericks indeed.

    • Seattle Moss

Paul you hit it on the nail!
Last year I began to question my reasoning about Bush and put aside my differences about the war.
I began to support the surge and debate those that wished for defeat and retreat in Iraq. As a historian and geographer I began to see the strategic importance of America’s victory in Iraq. I also give credit where it is do and we have not been attacked again since 911.
I supported as a good democrat Hillary as I knew she would be strong on defense realizing that at one time she was a Goldwater republican.
I argued at the caucus that this election would be about who could keep you safe when you went to the polls and warned Obamabots that their candidate had no been vetted. I told that Hillary was the only one that was McCain’s equal on foreign policy but they didn’t listen.

Now I don’t carry the water for anyone. I’m liberated and independent and will vote for the best candidate regardless of party.
It’s really nice to be free!!

Here is the article Lynn Forester De Rothschild wrote about elitest dems last week before endorsing John Mcain:

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122109030550621451.html

    • educatedwhitewoman

Bravo, Soldier – you go girl! Lynn Forester (a self-made woman who married well, but is not an elitist) would agree with you. From the article linked above:

“Mr. Obama cannot point to any analogue to Mr. McCain’s service. As he talks of himself, and his supporters talk about the amazing Obamaness of Obama, it is no wonder that millions of Americans, including loyal Democrats, still question whether his presidency would reinforce the splendor of Barack Obama rather than protect them and enhance their lives.”

    • wodiej

      excellent!!

    • Jackie

WOW thank you for that link. Lynn Forester de Rothchild is an eloquent writer. Her points are exacting and clear. Obama ia a disaster for this country.

Also about MO clip going around where she says don’t vote just because she is cute — what is with all the lecturing? Instead of asking for our votes with humility they are always screaming at us — Don’t be stupid, vote for us. Not a good way to ask for our votes.

This will likely be the next “lipstick” controversy…what the H*LL was Rangel thinking? Given that he was in HRC’s corner for so long all I can think is that he is helping undermine Obama…kind of like Gov. Rendell’s “he’s like Adali Stevenson”…

Let’s hope it works…I can’t stand to think of what the next four years would be like with his arrogance pouring out of the Oval Office…

As many on the GOP-side say: “Let us pray…NObama!”

      • tampagurl

Rangel another one of those “EXPERIENCED” politicians, hmmmmm

    • Jackie

Why hasn’t Obama called him corrupt?
Oh that’s right, Obama doesn’t stand up to crooks in office.

    • Raven

When asked by the reporter, as I saw the clip, he
said, “politically disabled”. And, went on to explain what he meant. Still think it was a poor
choice of words, however, there seemed to be some
“intent” on his part. Perhaps, has someone suggested
to make him NOT a good campaign surrogate for OB.

I must point this out to anyone who may have not take the time to watch her entire video. I did. There are no cuts or edits in Soldier’s video. She went 8:49 without um or ah. Here is a citizen who can deliver thoughts without teleprompters, edited background, added crowd cheers, a nose pointed to the sky or a finger pointed at you.

Soldier. I hear you. I happen to like what Palin is bringing to the mix. I like strong women. I can go along with different opinions. I can’t go along with people who hate Sarah JUST because she is not following the feminist line, and getting in the back of that line. You have a very pragmatic approach that probably will not be understood by many people who have just given up on democrats and Hillary – you obviously have not. You present your position in a way that you even appeal to me – one who now will have to watch the next four years to determine which woman I will give my vote.

I want to vote for you. Actually I offer my services. If you need a hacker proof place to back up your stuff, let me know through Susan. One would have to blow up three central Internet hubs to shut down some of my systems. But then again, I am sure that a bunch of people have your youtube site bookmarked and that will always be around.

Now. About what you just said. You go, girl!

    • Raven

Patsy, what a wonderful way to start my day, great
      video! Sorry about your blog.
You express, so well, what many of us feel and you
do so from your heart. Thank you for your integrity,
service to our country, and perserverance in the
face of these onslaughts, from those who seek to
stifle the free exchange of information, in our
democracy. We must all remain strong and vigillant.
Look forward to your future blogs!

Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way.

Lead – Obama doesn’t lead – he waits for others ideas then steals them.

Follow – Obama makes a poor follower because he’s willing throw those who lead him to greater heights aside.

Get Out of the Way – My advice for Obama.

Listen to MLK Obama. It’s not the color of your skin but the content of your character. Yet your own VP’s (Biden) strongest case for you? Vote for him simply because he’s black. Forget ability, experience, or character.

Isn’t that the opposite of MLK’s message?

    Of course it is.

Palin is losing the election for McCain, just as I predicted. Ha!

      • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

McCain is way ahead of Obama in Florida, and Sarah Palin has helped reinvigorate the GOP. Independent voters like her, too.

        Poll: GOP Brand Making Comeback
By David Paul Kuhn writing for Politico.

A new poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press reports that independent voters have an equally favorable opinion of both parties, 50 to 49 percent, a one-point edge for the GOP. That compares to an 18-point Democratic advantage as recently as August, a wide gap that had generally held for more than a year.

Maybe it’s Sarah Palin who can raise from the dead.

Thousands Turn Out to See McCain-Palin in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin
        From WLUK-TV.

“Raising taxes in a tough economy isn’t patriotic. It isn’t a badge of honor,” McCain said at a Republican rally in Ashwaubneon. “It’s just plain dumb.”

The line elicited the loudest applause of the night for the McCain, who spoke to a crowd that nearly filled the 11,000-seat Resch Center.

‘Sarah-mania’ Grips Central Florida Before Rally
By Joe Follick in the Gainesville Sun.

For years, the nation’s top Republican candidates have trekked to The Villages in Central Florida as a must-stop on the campaign trail. The retirement community of more than 80,000 residents has hosted President George W. Bush, Florida Govs. Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist, presidential candidates including Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney and many others in recent years.

But local Republicans say this Sunday’s rally with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may be the largest ever.

“Sarah-mania has taken over here,” said Richard Cole, the chairman of the The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County.

        Palin Changes Republican Image
        From KION-TV (Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, California)

Sarah Palin was virtually unknown around the country up until a few weeks ago but she is NOW a household name and many Republicans in Monterey County believe that Palin is responsible for revolutionizing the party.

David Finkelstein resident of Salinas said “I think her stand right or wrong she is honest and is comfortable with her position.”

This one sounds out oh his / her mind and typical of the Obama supporters. What I don’t get is the reason they’re here.

First, they say they want to convince “lurkers” to vote for Obama. They sure aren’t convincing us. But if I were just having a look around NQ and read:

McCain IS dishonorable. McCain is a scum. He has run the lowest, sleaziest, most dishonest campaign I’ve seen in my lifetime.

I would wonder how that person typed in a straightjacket. Seriously, though. Obama is bad enough, but his supporters might prove to be his undoing. It’s a toss-up right now.

    great video..

except I will not be throwing Palin under the bus in 2012 even if Hillary decides to run again-personally I don’t think she will. Her and Bill are losing my respect and admiration for pushing this fraud on us. If she is doing it so she can run in 2012, that is for the wrong reason. Alot can happen in 4 years and what kind of shape will our country be in then if Obama is at the helm? Hillary should be staying low key and doing what she does best in the Senate and let Obama sink to the bottom of the marsh where he belongs.

    • SFhillary

Whoah, don’t diverge from the PUMA party line, Wodie! If you aren’t making a dumbass neanderthal vote now in order to help HRC in ’12, what’s the point? Are you saying you actually want John McCain and Sarah Palin running the country?

Thank God there’s little chance of that happening.

      • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

There are more than even odds according to all current polls. I don’t know which other country you’re talking about where Obama is comfortably ahead.

And just thank you for turning off enough Democrats to make this happen. That tone of your voice was aimed at us and Hillary Clinton throughout the primaries, and you were warned that this would come back to haunt you in the fall.

I consider the U.S. Constitution one of the greatest documents ever produced by human civilization. It is a clarion call to freedom and the inherent, irrevocable value of the individual. McCain and Palin are not democrats and they are not patriots. They will absolutely continue the past eight years of Republican theft of the future of this country. Can you even comprehend what would happen to this country if McCain was actually able to implement his agenda of a trillion-dollar tax cuts and privatization of health care? I doubt it.

And you call me anti-American. You have no fucking clue what you’re talking about. Thank God you, your movement and your evil, shitty candidates are going down the tubes on a daily basis.

66 (at least) of McCain’s lobbyists have worked for major telecomms and McCain has taken over $1.5 million from telecomms.
“…Charlie Black is McCain’s senior political adviser, and Wayne Berman is McCain’s national finance co-chairman. When Newsweek identified both men as leading the fight for retroactive immunity, both were already working for McCain. In April 2007, the Boston Globe referred to Berman as “a senior McCain adviser,” and the New York Times referred to Black as a McCain adviser in early July 2007. [Boston Globe, 4/26/07; New York Times, 7/3/07; Newsweek, 9/26/07]

              * Charlie Black Admitted Making Lobbying Calls From McCain Campaign Bus. The Washington Post reported that “But even as Black provides a private voice and a public face for McCain, he also leads his lobbying firm, which offers corporate interests and foreign governments the promise of access to the most powerful lawmakers. Some of those companies have interest before the Senate and, in particular, the Commerce Committee, of which McCain is a member. Black said he does a lot of his work by telephone from McCain’s Straight Talk Express bus.” [Washington Post, 2/22/08]”

“McCain Voted To Protect Telecom Companies That Violated Customers’ Privacy By Releasing Personal Information. After skipping all but one previous vote in 2008, McCain showed up in the Senate on February 12 to vote on S. 2248, the FISA Amendments Act of 2007. McCain voted for final passage of the legislation, which provided retroactive immunity to telecommunications companies that participated in the Bush Administration’s illegal, warrantless eavesdropping and wiretapping of American citizens. [S. 2248, Vote # 20, 2/12/2008]”

“* McCain Voted For Retroactive Immunity For Telecom Executives. Prior to voting for passage of the FISA bill, McCain voted against an amendment offered by Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) that would have eliminated provisions in the bill providing retroactive immunity to telecom companies. [S. 2248, Vote # 15, 2/12/2008]”

“McCain Refused To Comment On Telecom Immunity Vote. According to the Boston Globe, “McCain did not explain his vote to give retroactive immunity to the telecommunications companies, and neither the McCain campaign nor his Senate office responded to questions about the issue.” [Boston Globe, 2/16/08]”

          • Mr. Natural

Can you even comprehend what would happen to this country if McCain was actually able to implement his agenda of a trillion-dollar tax cuts and privatization of health care?

            Health care’s already private.

Seems like you would have noticed.

Don’t tell me it’s your mommy who pays for your Haldol!

Well if Democrats are becoming Republicans the GOP has people like YOU to thank.

By nominated your unqualified, dishonest, anti-American, raicst ulta-left wing, arrogant, stuttering, hate mongering Messisah, you have driven millions running from the Democratic Party.

After Obama loses the Democratic Party will either:

        a) Be reformed, with the moderates and moderately Liberal Democrats taking over and putting the Obama/Kos wing in its place.

        b) Will become an irrelevant party in national politics, when the Democrats with brains, who love American flee the party.

        I am guessing “a”.

Great list of new friends from both of you! Wish I could add them to my LinkedIn network–LOL! Gotta go to the right to get the truth these days. The MSM is not to be trusted. They have an agenda, and it’s get O-Windbag into the White House.

      • Dawnelle

        ewwwwwww no Michelle Malkin

she’s said some SERIOUSLY heinous things about the Clintons

nope she, like LUSH will never get my good time

        • SFhillary

Dawnelle, EVERYONE on that list hates the Clintons. Everyone on that list hates all Democrats, all feminists, all progressives, all environmentalists. Haven’t you figured out yet the company you’re keeping? Everyone you people listen to now — Rush, Hannity, WorldNet, Ingraham, Fox, O’Reilly — if HRC had won the nomination, they would all be trashing her and impugning her patriotism and her morality, just like they are now doing to Obama. And you would all be good loyal Democrats hating all these Republican slime. Instead, you are making common cause with Republican slime, hoping to empower them to do permanent damage to America, just because you don’t like Obama?

Have you not been frightened to your senses by what has been happening to Wall Street this week? This is all a direct consequence of right-wing Republican deregulating ideology — exactly what McCain wants to retain and expand to health care and Social Security.

Look, I know I get insulting and all on this site, but it just drives me crazy that any rational progressive could possibly support this crap. I have a very young daughter and the thought of her growing up in a nation molded by the likes of John McCain and Sarah Palin makes me want to puke. Your hatred of Obama is irrational — he’s just a mainstream Democrat.

Ugh. Enough. Anyone who doesn’t understand this already doesn’t want to and never will. You just keep preparing to vote for McCain while saying you don’t like Michele Malkin because she was mean to Hillary. So sad.

          • KathyNeocon

Why don’t you go spend time with your daughter and quit worrying about this stuff.

            • SFhillary

I’m on my way, Kathy. I spend time talking politics online because I care — more than you could possibly imagine — about the future of this country. And I know what four more years of Republican rule would mean.

              • WildChild

I don’t think the republicans are in any danger of retaking either house in congress.

                • Ferd McBerfle

And I truly don’t think they want either, at this point in time, just in case someone needs to be blamed.

                  • WildChild

so true, it’ll take them at least four years of distance before they can blame their mess on congressional democrats.

              • Ferd McBerfle

And I know what four more years of Republican rule would mean.

Yeah, no historic candidate becoming POTUS.

            sf…You’re Lying again,
The democrats prevented legislation that McCain backed that would have put regulations on Fannie and Freddie.
Democrats like Barney frank prevented this as there goal was to have everyone possible own a home regardless of their ability to pay.
The reason Obama has taken so much money from these failed institutions is because there will be investigations and the democrats know if McCain is elected they will be exposed.
Look for McCain to bring this up in the debate.

Obama is weak and is going to be utterly destroyed by the maverick!

            • SFhillary

Got a link for that, Seattle? I hear that’s the new talking point. It’s bullshit. The Republicans of this era have been OVERWHELMING deregulators of practically every major U.S. industry, from telecommunications on down, and that deregulation hasn’t been all bad, but in this case some people — most notably Greenspan — really dropped the ball. No attempt to pin this on Obama is going to fly, though, especially since in a magazine out right now, McCain had this to say about deregulating banking, and doing the same for health care:

              http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/09/19/mccain-on-banking-and-health/

              LOL. Too funny.

Why didn’t he add his voice to that of John Mccain in 2005? WHy didn’t he buck the trend of DNC or RNC and try to get that bill out of committee?

            He will kill the country.

People like you who are angry would put me and my employees out of business through higher taxes and tariffs on my exports.
Obama is wrong for America today. Back in 2006 before the liquidity crisis, Change looked good but now is impossible because we are in a recession and have to protect the core of American business and families.
Obama was wrong on the war!

                  Wild..
I manufacture industrial poly products primarily for domestic but have opened up a huge export market into Canada.
The Canadian’s have come down to use my extruders and are benefiting by a lower dollar but also easier regulations do to NAFTA. Years ago there was a real barrier to exports but now it seems seamless back and forth with the border.
I’m not sure how it would effect to be honest..But I heard what Obama said about NAFTA and it scares me especially since sales are up only because of what I have accomplished in Canada

                  • WildChild

interesting. I’m glad it’s working for you. One of the things that has always appeared to me to be a bait and switch during this campaign is how NAFTA became a shift in focus away from the abuses of the WTO. In getting us to talk about our trade relationship with our immediate neighbors we draw attention away from the giant sucking sound created by the communist Chinese. Canada and Mexico aren’t a danger to our nation. The commies holding leverage over our policy because they use the excess cash generated by our trade imbalance to buy our debt is. It’s just a matter of time before they use that lever over us to call the shots on this planet.

                    • Seattle Moss

The Chinese are threat, however this could be diminishing. Back in 1980 we feared Japan.
Today China is facing the same problems the US faced in the 60′s. A rising middle class, environmental disaster, rising wages and falling demand for certain petroleum based products which countries are turning away form. Also freight is becoming an issue.
Some of my greatest gains in the past two years have been against the Chinese because their imports all of a sudden are too expensive.

                    • WildChild

The communist party is trading economic prosperity for continued rule. Their people are currently in favor of that. They will become dangerous on the day their economy hits a down turn and the communist party needs a new deal to maintain the loyalty of the people. I believe they will, as all single party states do, turn to the external threat to accomplish that end. That threat will be us as we are the major economic and military power in the world. We are handing them the weapon they can use against us in the form of their buying our national debt. On that day can kill us simply by selling unless we begin to step up and remove the threat by actually doing our duty and paying our taxes and paying down our debt.

          • McKatmoon

Exactly, most people don’t understand the O hit on payroll taxes.

          • SFhillary

Congratulations on having a thriving business, Seattle. I mean that; it isn’t easy to do. As for my own success in life — well, let’s just say that any anger I feel toward you is because you’re going to make an idiotic vote in November, not because you’re successful; let’s just say that if Obama gets in and lets the Bush tax cuts on 250k-income households expire, that will cost me plenty in the short term. But the resulting stock market and economic boom will more than make up for it, as it would in your case too, I’m sure. You’ll see. Republicans like you said all the same nonsense about Bill Clinton when he was running in 1992 — it was a recession, we couldn’t worry about the deficit, Clinton was a crazy socialist who would destroy American business, blah blah blah. It was all horseshit then and it’s all horseshit now. Clinton was a grownup who understood that balanced budgets produce lower interest rates and growing economies. Obama will produce the same thing. It is McCain, with his trillion-dollar tax cuts for an economy that is already terrifyingly out of balance, who poses a mortal threat to small businesses like yours.

            • Pink Panther

What Obama’s Ignorant Trolls Don’t Talk About (Probably Because they are Illiterate)

Obama’s Tax Plan Hurts Small Businesses

Obama continues to say he will tax people making over $250,000. What he doesn’t tell people is that plan to tax “people” over $250,000 includes small businesses and is a marriage penalty.

Obama’s plan to raise taxes on households making more than $250,000 will raise taxes on most small-business profits in America. These are mom and pop shops that employ few employees. These are the corner businesses that make America work.

What type of tax rate are we talking about? Currently, S corporations face a top tax rate of 35 percent, while sole proprietors and general partners face a tax rate of 37.9 percent (since they’re responsible for paying both income tax and the Medicare component of the payroll tax).

There is already a significant marriage tax penalty, as well as too many taxes on small businesses. Obama’s plan will put small businesses out of business and force people to rely on large companies and government for their paycheck. As the tax on businesses increase, those costs will be passed onto clients and customers.

The tax money Obama wants to take from married couples and small businesses will be redistributed by Obama to foreign countries and other entitlement programs. Oh, and Obama is talking about taking our troops into Afghanistan.

              • WildChild

this isn’t a defense of Barry soeBOBO but if we are truly going to kill the legacy of evangelic conservatism, we have to kill the idea that people don’t have to support their constitution with cold hard cash.

pay your taxes people. It’s your duty as a citizen.

                • Seattle Moss

One reason that you have so many ads about how to deal with tax problems on conservative talk shows is because of the right wing attempt at not paying taxes in the 80s and 90s
Those chickens are coming home for those libertarians.
I have always been a FDR/Clinton liberal but these new democrats are Marxist thugs pure and simple

                  • WildChild

I don’t know what they are. At this time its still impossible to discern what is seismic shift in core principles and what is party support for the nom. Which Is why I have to support McCain. I know what he is. The last thing this country needs at this time is an unknown. It was one of those that got us into this mess.

                    • Ferd McBerfle

Oblockhead really makes me uneasy, more than likely because of what you just pointed out–we truly know nothing about him. He has everything about his past under carefully guarded lock and key.

                    • Pink Panther

                      WildChild,
My comment above was not complaining about paying taxes; however, we have ALL been overtaxed. If you don’t believe it, think about everything that gets taxed at the local, regional, state, and federal levels. Additionally, every time you purchase something, the cost of the tax the business is paying is passed onto you.

As a small business person, it amuses me that Obama supporters (and others) complain about large corporations (e.g., big box stores) killing small businesses but then defend taxing small businesses. INCREASED TAXES IS ALSO KILLING SMALL BUSINESSES.

If Obama and the “progressives” are supporting taxing small businesses, they are as much to blame about putting small businesses out of business as the large companies.

It’s obvious Obama and his minions have never run a business, filed a corporate tax return, had to make payroll, etc. If so, they would understand that increasing taxes on small businesses only stifles and kills them.

There goes our individual freedom to be self-sufficient. According to Obama’s philosophy, let’s all rely on the government and multi-national corporation for paychecks.

                • Artemis

                  WILDCHILD:
I don’t think Al Franken and Charlie Rangel
qualify as “evangelic conversatives.” Just the opposite, and both are under scrutiny for NOT PAYING THEIR TAXES. So…let’s not label tax fraud as a conservative issue.

                  • WildChild

You’re mistaking tax fraud with the conservative mantra that “big” government is evil and taxes are bad. Neither is true.

                    • Artemis

I just heed the warning of Thomas Jefferson: “The natural progress of things is for government to gain ground and for liberty to yield.”
Big government = Big Brother in my books.

                    • WildChild

I can define what a big brother is. Big government is intangible. It’s definition changes with the fears and biases of the observer.

                    • Artemis

I’m sorry but paternalistic governments scare me. “We know what you need. We know best. Let us handle EVERYTHING.” The cost is too high.

                    • WildChild

Luckily we have government of the people. It does nothing more or less that what we consent too. Unfortunately “we” were conned unto believing we could get the goodies but not have to pay for them with our tax dollars. It happens.

                      We need to unhappen it.

                    • Artemis

Agreed! (I knew we could reach a consensus.)
“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” –Thomas Jefferson

                    • WildChild

Thomas Jefferson was an anti- federalist. His mistake was creating the imagined difference between government of the people and the people themselves. There isn’t any. Governemnt of the people is a reflection of the people. It is no better or worse the we are.

                    • Artemis

Thanks for your comments. We differ on big government, but I’m sure we agree on other aspects of this most interesting election.

                    • Ferd McBerfle

The bottom line is that WE get what WE vote for. Dubya and Oblahblah are reflections of that reality. Until the electorate stops listening to politicians and starts voting in the interest of the WE instead of the I, this is what we will get.

Obama’s new friends (and his supporters like sf) are:

          Castro of Cuba,
          Gaddafi of Libya,
          Kim Jong of North Korea,
          Hama,
          Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, and
          Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran.

          • tzada

Ahmadinejad and Iran is the reason Joe Biden did not go to that rally. Obama and Biden and Brzezinski and Carter are pro Iran. Biden proposed a bill to give the mullahs of Iran something like 200 or maybe 300 million dollars, to make them our friends. Joe Biden also thinks Iran is peopled by Arabic Muslims. He is half right, they are Persian/Muslims. If Obama is elected this man would be a heart beat away from POTUS.

What a choice a possible coke head or a probable drunk? Hillary had one shot on the campaign trial and the MSM make her out a drunk and nothing is said about those two?

Obama and Obama trolls you can manipulated the press and attack the internet but you CAN’T CONTROL OUR IDEAS OR OUR VOTES. Great Video.

  • McKatmoon

We(both republicans and democrats), have been through some vicious spin cycles, from our parties. What I have gained in this election, is an insight I wasn’t even willing to try, prior. I don’t want to be against someone because they are republican, I never did, I was so angry about the politics over the last 8 years, I was guilty of grouping, and not able to consider one thought that wasn’t from a democrat.
What a difference a presidential race makes. It is humbling to be dumped by your party, it is sad, to not be able to relate to that party any longer, and it is infuriating to be considered a labeled-boxed voter, myself. I think it is political Karma I must have gone through. Now, I am struggling not to vomit, if someone asks if I am a democrat, I feel a new political prejudice, against democrats who support O. As if they are traitors. Wrong, probably, (see above, for grouping folks), yet, the extreme I see, considered to be the norm in the democratic party is like nothing I have ever experienced and I cannot get my head around it no matter how hard I try. It’s an actual aversion at this point, and disgust. I work on it, but until this election is over, and I see what the reaction is either way, the jury is out. If he wins, and they go mad with face rubbing, seriously pushing the politics of race further, and dehumanizing those who don’t go along, I think I may be in for another Karmic re-haul, as I will fight tooth and nail. If he loses and there is rioting in the streets and screams of racism, and false elections, I will have to hold back a snicker and smug satisfaction and probably have some karmic penance to do there as well. But, I will sleep better.

    • samb

I never thought I would ever vote republican, but the DNC has made think and feel different they selected Obama over Hillary and her 18 million vote and I lost faith in my own party I understand your disappointment

    • SFhillary

If you are angry at the politics of the last eight years, that means you have a brain. Use it and think about what exactly John McCain and Sarah Palin stand for. It’s the same Bush-era stuff, only worse. Obama, by contrast, is a centrist Democrat. He stands (as Hillary would have stood) for responsible progressive government, which our nation needs DESPERATELY.

All the rest is trivia and irrational hatred. You sound intelligent. Please think about it.

      • Artemis

        A CENTRIST?????? Come on.

        • Hope Floats! Flush Twice!

          LOL.

        • SFhillary

Name one policy he has proposed that isn’t mainstream Democratic/centrist thinking. Just one. And don’t answer with fantasies about what he secretly wants to do. Give me one example of an actual, announced Obama policy that you would characterize as radical.

          Thanks.

          • SFhillary

For that matter, for extra credit, name one announced Obama policy that is substantially different than HRC’s policy for that same issue.

I have to go soon but I’ll come back to this thread later tonight to see if any of you can meet either challenge. I doubt you can, because all your negative feelings about Obama are based on pure emotion, not on policy. That’s what makes your movement so essentially silly, and so marginal in a year when voters are really hungry for competence, and for responsible Democratic/progressive policy positions.

            • Jim

You’re kidding, right? He STOLE her policies! He did that to cover up the fact that he had none of his own and the policies his puppet masters have in mind will be where he leads American, fool.

Patsy, thanks for the video. If Obots have been messing with your blog and they’ve hacked into Sarah Palin’s emails, what does that tell us? I think those tactics reveal a lot about the methods of the Democratic party these days. Reminds me of the Bolsheviks. The Democratic party I was raised in no longer exists.

    Fantastic video Patsy!

The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend“?

    Yes, I couldn’t agree more.

I’m voting for McCain-Palin for 2012–Hillary’s 2012 victory. Obama’s divisive tactics must be nipped in the bud in 2008, so that the party can truly reunite for 2012.

There were two subtext during the primaries, not one. Yes, African Americans, who comprise 12.5% of the population, are second class citizens in America in 2008, but women, who make up 50% of the general population, are also second class citizens in 2008. Take your pick.

Between a woman with impeccable feminist credentials and a divisive race-baiter with at best mediocre civil rights credentials, I’d take the woman any day.

    It’s a no brainer.

    • Ferd McBerfle

Obama’s divisive tactics must be nipped in the bud in 2008, so that the party can truly reunite for 2012.

For that to work, the party apparatus will have to be dismantled and hauled away as toxic rubbish. The rules will have to be rewritten and current party leaders (Pelosi and Reid) fired. Anything less than that and I’ll not return to the party.

      • Ferd McBerfle

I forgot to add the removal of the screamer.

    • http://JohnMcCain.com Chockablock “Hillawee can you change my diapy pwease” Opampers

Civil rights credentials? Attending and donating to a racist church for 20 years? Those credentials?

      • http://www.progressive.org/mag_reed0508 Beowulf

Dude, stop bustin’ my balls. I’m tryin’ to be fair, balanced and nuanced here.

Don’t forget his voting record, minus the 130 “present” votes of course. He did achieve some modest things as a “community activist”; but then again, there must be thousands of community activists out there who’ve achieved far, far more, but don’t have the cajones to claim they are fit to be POTUS and leader of the free world. His two books are great, if you can ignore the profound fictional elements, LOL.

Listen, I don’t agree with everything he writes or says on race relations, but I do agree with most of it. What he says, what he preaches is great, but what he actually does as a candidate is DOWNRIGHT DESPICABLE.

Mind you, I like Hillary, and I like Bill, but that doesn’t mean I always agree with them. By the same token, although I TOTALLY despise Obama, it doesn’t mean I disagree with everything he says. I’m really pissed off at the African American community either for directly race-baiting themselves, defending Obama’s race-baiting, or standing idly by and saying nothing out of fear. Even Alice Palmer, who supported Hillary, was too afraid to talk to CNN about what Obama did to her.

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPQedyt10To
—CNN piece on Obama’s treachery against Alice Palmer. At about 5m50sec, it says Palmer now supports Hillary and doesn’t want to talk to CNN about Obama.

Just b’coz I’m really pissed off at African Americans doesn’t mean I’m gonna suddenly not support and/or vote against each and every “black” cause which I used to (and still do) fully believe in.

        • Jim

Funny how the Obots overlook Obama’s race-traitor behavior. I guess they want to elect a black-hating black man.

The only difference between Obama and Bush is taxes(Bush keeps low to get conservative base), and religion. That is the difference between a neo-conservative and a liberal. Mccain is a true conservative on most issues with some liberal tendacies.

    • Ferd McBerfle

The real difference between a neocon and a liberal is that the liberal will tax YOU and spend YOUR money. The neocon will borrow against YOUR CHILDREN’S and GRANCHILDREN’S money and spend it. I don’t like either way. I’ll take a true conservative like McCain any day.

Iranian President Takes Obama Up On Offer

“The enemy of my enemy…” That’s funny, I was just thinking about that line the other day. It was in the first Aliens v Predator movie–the one where the heroine (you know, the beautiful human) and the Predator team up to fight the Aliens.

So, in my present state of “alienation” I started thinking how McCain is like the Predator and all those blog-trollin’, website-hackin’ Obots are kinda like the slithery spawn of (close-up)”you are one ugly mother!” Alien.

As a lifelong Democrat, I’m horrified to admit my party does feel a bit like the invasion of the body snatchers lately.

Here is another source for getting information out. This is aimed at the Asian/American population. I have read some of their articles and quoted from one for here. It’s a interesting paper and if we want things out we need to find papers that will help us.

While Barry strives to divide the races, we have got to reach out and join with them. He uses the divide and conquer out of the Arabs play book. They did this when they wanted to get a new batch of slaves. Why were so many blacks involved in slavery? It was divide and conquer.
