My heart just breaks watching this. I know the similarity between Senator Clinton and Senator McCain is the experience and the understanding, of addressing the problem on it’s face in detail with solutions; which will never be pretty words, especially when you are speaking of money and finances.
How long before the o plagiarizes it? This solidifies my vote for McCain, each and every time I see Senator Clinton, and what should have been. I am happy to vote, to provide some much needed housecleaning for the democratic party. I have no problem with a McCain/Palin administration in the interim.

That puts a hitch in Senator Obama’s battle cry of Senator McCain being Bush 44 – doesn’t it?

Over the past eight years we’ve watched one Federal agency after another failed. FEMA couldn’t even get a case of bottled water into New Orleans after Katrina, Wal-mart was there with trucks of supplies long before FEMA took action.

The FDA is useless. From drugs to lettuce, whether manufactured or grown in this country or another, we have no idea whether what we’re swallowing will kill us.

Now we find out not only has no one been watching the mortgage industry and Wall Street from the executive branch, Congress (Republicans when they had the majority, the Democrats since they gained the majority) has been raking the cash in from both to turn a blind eye.

Great.

Now the plan is for the taxpayer to bail out Wall Street, the banks on Main Street and the homeowners on Elm Street. How will the taxpayer do it? Who are we going to borrow from this time? Does China have any money left? Or are we going to print more money we can’t back up? What ripples will come back to dig us in deeper in the months and years to come? All because the executive branch and Congress couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs over the past eight years and say no to our financial institutions.

It is a pragmatic move designed to line her up for the party nomination in 2012. She is a smart woman who I would vote for in a New York minute–I want that opportunity in 2012. So if she has to do some perfunctory stump speeches for the Hollow One, I’ll just ignore it so I can vote for her someday.

I live in Nebraska and have been a registered Independent for many years. I just received a call from the local Obama office asking who I was voting for. I said McCain/Palin because I think Obama is a Marxist. I will say the caller was polite and thanked me for my time. That’s the first time the Democrats have ever called me. I hope it’s because they’re getting desperate. Hee, hee…

P.S. Maverick, you nailed it. I think George Soros is a Stalinist in Capitalist clothing.
