News is not about honest reporting it is about numbers and sponsors, so do not expect that the news via print or TV will be honest. I think that they believe as long as they report good news, then the people will go shopping and that is good for their sponsors. If you are a liberal and a died-in-the wool-Obama supporter, you probably are very happy with the news and you will continue to spend and borrow. Therefore, I wonder if what the news media is really afraid of is conservatives and older people who maybe are less influenced by advertising and just one sided information? It does not matter if you are a Republican or Democrat. If you love this country and want what is good for this country, then you must insist that the news inform with honest good and bad information about both candidates and not try to influence our votes. If you agree with me, then write to the sponsors who support the kind of news you like and don’t like. And during all the brouhaha from the neocons defending Bush's WMD claim, I always pointed out the Reagan connection to Saddam's chemical weapons.
