Many thanks. I lived in your city during the Bush/Clinton campaign. I saw exactly one Bush sign. I was in graduate school, and my husband cautioned me against wearing a Bush pin, as he was worried I would be assaulted–probably not unfounded, in retrospect.

And remember, your city is well regarded as the capital of liberalism (founded, of course on principles of freedom of thought and speech)……..

Unfortunately, this election is no different, but the geographic scope of the absurdity has spread. But I think all of the pent-up enthusiasm will get McCain elected on 11/4.

Half of Hillary Clinton’s supporters do not yet support Obama, and they never will. There are 7 million registered “Pumas,” all of whom will vote. None will vote for Obama.

The members of the MSM get only one vote apiece…the same as all the viewers they condescend to.

There are no purple states! Obie didn’t know that. There is blue, and there is red. He can always count on California, because a monkey with a “Democratic” t-shirt could win there. The “battleground states” do not so easily “fall in line.” Here, the position of “leader” must pass a threshold of trust, experience, and values. The electoral map, in the end, will be the traditional one which Bill Clinton aimed at. Obie can aim all he wants, but the map will not be his on November 4th. Just wait and see.

p.s. An alienated Democratic constiuency may be hazardous to a Presidential candidate’s election results.

My husband’s take on the debate was that McCain had so much experience he kept telling us what he’d done contrasted with Barky who has never done anything and could only say–I will do this and I will do that. Not very comforting or inspiring.

And Acorn Hater–I live in ObamaLand and my Hillary sign was thrown in the street repeatedly. I don’t dare put a McCain sign up (my car would probably get keyed) so I’ve just put a Nader sticker on my car–that’s my little revolt here.

As for poll numbers, watch out. They are actually polling more Democrats than Republicans. How is this fair and impartial polling? It’s not. And the real state of opinion? McCain and Palin are favored by tens of millions of men and women — much more than the other guy.

Scary version for Obama: Both Obama and Joe Biden are seen as gaffes-in-action — careless and not to be taken seriously.

Two houses with 1/8 of a mile of mine have proudly displayed their Obama signs for many months. Both signs are now worn and faded, but have remained there (without molestation or removal) for nearly nine months. I pass both signs every day.

Two days ago, I traveled to the local GOP office to get my long-awaited McCain/Palin sign. Though I had called in advance and was told that I could get a whole stack to give to my enthusiastic neighbors, because of the exceptionally high demand it ended up that they could only give me one sign, which I happily accepted.

After I placed my new sign on my property, any guess as to how long it lasted before it vanished?

Less than 24 hours.

Is the Obama/Biden crowd really that afraid of a little lawn sign?
