I’m not voting for Obama because despite all his promises..I’ve SEEN what he’s done for his constituents (low-income) constituents here in Chicago…the promises made, what was delivered and while things never turn out exactly as planned, his performance here has been borderline criminal negligence. You should come here to see where your federal tax money went, how it was used…within about 8 yrs and these buildings are condemned, considered UNINHABITABLE. He’s hurt the people time and again that he continues to profess to want to help. Here, he has consistently demonstrated one thing..that his agenda changes as it suits him..every single time.

So while, you’re right..most of what we have to go by are campaign promises…however, there does exist past actions and accomplishments that help define who that person is and what you might expect from them..please give it a thought.

Matt – you can’t answer the question. That’s the reason why you haven’t answered. It’s that simple.

Your hero was quite happy to let poor, black people who depended on him in his State Senate district freeze in the Chicago winter because he didn’t want to confront his longtime ‘fixer’ Tony Rezko.

He was also quite happy to sit for 20 years in a church that condemned (asking God to damn it) the country he now wants to lead and did not walk away or confront his ‘spiritual mentor’.

He shouldn’t be allowed to lead a camping trip, much less a nation.

Matt, cupcake, Don Tufts has a serious question for you below and you haven’t answered it yet. So let me try again on one of his questions. Why did BO support Tony Rezko receiving govt. funds to re-habilitate buildings for public housing when Rezko was letting his tenants (BO’s constituents) freeze in the Chicago winter?

I mean if he’s going to stop the oceans from rising you’d think he could at least keep the heat turned on.

Sweetie, Obama has already said that his health care ‘plans’ will have to be ‘phased’ in because of ‘budget constraints’. That’s code for NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

In 4 years, no matter who wins, we’ll still be in Iraq, we still won’t have universal health care and we’ll be broke.
