With Freddie & Fannie now taken over by the feds, they needed a new and different slush fund. And they attempted to "fix" that in this bill, but it got taken out after the national outrage. The entire Congressional Black Caucus deserted Nancy Pelosi and voted against the new bill. It FAILED because Barak Obama neglected to lobby his own Congressional Black Caucus. So did James Clyburn. They won't vote for the bill unless the Acorn provision is reinstated in the bill. Bingo, OhioMary.

He filed lawsuits against banks who wouldn't issue loans to low-income minorities with poor credit histories, under provisions in the Community Reinvestment Act. I never would have thought that America would have invaded and occupied a nation that hadn't attacked us and posed no threat to us. It's been a very dark time.
