Yep.

And the language was changed from “mortgage issues” to “any financial issues,” to be decided by the Sec. of the Treasury.

That means an Obama Treas.Secretary can bail out banks with credit card issues, car loan issues, and student loan issues, too.

Can you IMAGINE a Democratic President Obama, backed with a Senate & a House led by the Democratic Party, making all those decisions with no counter-balance.

Not to mention that President Obama wants to expand Faith Based Initiatives, make it a part of his Cabinet, and have complete control of which “faith-based” groups get that money, with no Congressional oversight.

But NOW, he is visually associated with the very bill his fellow Democrat Chris Dodd loaded up with pork.

McCain did vote FOR, but he didn’t the floor and make a speech, visually tieing himself to the pork.

Obama did. It’ll cost him, in November.

Acorn rallied, publicly, against the banks who would not give out these loans, and filed “discrimination” lawsuits against them.

Barak Obama’s first job out of law school as a new civil rights attorney was filing such lawsuits against Citigroup in Chicago, and then he was hired by the ACORN president to “train” all the “community organizers” on her staff.

But the truth is, the banks who did not give out such loans to unqualified Black applicants were threatened with lawsuits by Chicago’s “community organizers.”

And that’s the truth.

“Not qualified” for a mortgage loan is also NOT qualified, regardless of race.

“Not qualified” is post-racial.

I don’t care what Anglachel says about discussing these Fannie & Freddie loans implies Republican racism.

They have not. It is their direct actions that force banks into following the rules under the Community Reinvestment Act. The US government can fine banks and stop mergers as well as any other business a bank does if they don’t play well with giving loans under the CRA. The CRA was expanded in 1995 to encourage more subprime loans for minorities. Get your facts right or don’t spout off at all!

How is it that republicans agreed in the first place to the July bill or any other bills giving this rogue organization this kind of funding extraordinaire??? Shocking! I can understand liberal democrats doing this kind of “do good” stuff, but it makes you wonder if the republicans even knew it was in the bills or what it meant. What it means is, in the voter registration end, they will register voters which sounds like a worthy cause. But when you look beneathe the surface, it is to register AA’s, hispanics, and college students with the purpose this year of electing Obama. Sounds like many republicans were asleep at the switch.

How horrible it must be for all you patriots to see an organization spend hundreds of millions of dollars on helping US Citizens in homeownership. Money which flows directly through their hands and into local contractors, local businesses. But you’d so much rather have $10 Billion per month go towards rebuilding Iraq and who knows about Afganistan.

Get over your socialist paranoia, the money passes through ACORN straight into the American economy, not being hoarded by the Iraqi government.
