To the recipients: The misrepresentation that us taxpayers have the money to bail them out. We don't. We're in hock up past our ears, and can't even pay all of our mortgages, which is ostensibly why you're in this mess, right? 2. To the (tax)payers: The misrepresentation that it's only going to cost $700 billion. Hundreds of billions have already been poured into it, and it will ultimately cost an unknown number of trillions. Consequently, ANY version of this bailout plan is a fraud on both the public and the business community. I have warned my congressmen of this simple fact, and suggest that you do the same, immediately. The bailout is based on two blatantly fraudulent misrepresentations:
