Claire has been a major part of the obamamachine this whole year. I don’t remember the details but there was something about her own shady business dealings in her own past before she got on his bandwagon. She was part of the recent “truth squad” in violation of first amendment rights as well.

She is mentioned on a video on uppity’s blog about ACORN fraud. One disgruntled ACORN worker is on tape telling an newsperson Acorn had them out campaigning for Claire instead of campaigning to raise the minimum wage as they were supposed to be doing.

She fits so well into the obama associate club.

On this one, it may be that the less you did the better you’ll look.

The floor speech related to the bill that impressed me the most was made by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. I think he voiced the feelings of the vast majority of middle and working class Americans. He’s an independent.

$128 million in tax breaks for people building auto racing tracks? Money for the film industry? Yeah, I can see how that stuff was essential to protect taxpayers who'll be footing the bill. Somebody should compile a list of all of the pork and tax breaks tacked on to the bail out, along with the names of the elected officials who added each item. It would be nice to know exactly who did what.

well you can take comfort in the fact that Obama did so very little, once again. Basically his vote was ‘Present’, so he gets by with little mud on his lapels.
McCain on the other hand tried to do something, he was willing to get his hands dirty at least trying.

hon, McCain may not be perfect but at least he doesnt wish for the demolition of our country. Obama will owe up to his ears, no pun intended, for the massive amounts of money he has taken from foreign interests. We just dont need any more selling the US down the river.
There are many reasons why Obama comes off like the anti-Christ, too many to even get into here. Spend a little time reading about it, then come back and talk.

Yes, he was ahead in the polls in August and early Sept, I never disputed that! Reread what I said. I said “Dukakis was losing to Bush in all the polls throughout October.” McLame was also ahead of Obama “coming out of late summer” but he sure as hell aint anymore!

I agree with that. Biden may have years in the Senate, but Id prefer Palin in a heartbeat to Biden as P. she is more honest anyway.

Msg to everyone here who is offended by some cursing and references to illicit sexual acts: this blog is visited by a wide range of individuals who both support McCain, are Independent and not voting or voting some other party, or people who support Obama and want to have some ‘fun’ by being ugly online. You cant control the way people speak and right now emotions are very high. this site is not a genteel we love Hillary site, it couldnt be because the obamrobot patrol would never let us have that in peace. May I suggest that you take it all with a grain of salt?

McCain had no realistic choice in this matter. Even Newt and many others had come around to: it just needs to pass. Its not saying they liked it, just saying that the consensus was something needed to be done. If Bush hadn’t of been in bed with the crooks, maybe we could have had a better starting point on the legislation. As it was, i think McCain did the best he could with Bush, Paulson, & crooked Majority leaders all working against us, so don’t take it too bad.

Im praying daily for my country as a whole. I believe that Obama is truly a skank and bad for us, guess that would be his tendency to take money from foreign interests that wish us no good. Guess that would be because his ideology seems anti-democracy and anti-American Constitution.
But if sending a prayer to a political leader is beneath you and worthy of your contempt I think that squarely places you in the bag of elitist snobs that hold Obama so dear. Mainly because they believe there is some special place in heaven for PC types who also smile upon radicals like Weathermen, apparently.
