GOOD, GOOD!!! BE AS TOUGH AS WOODPECKER LIPS AND NEVER EVER GIVE UP! YOUR AN AMERICAN GODDAMNIT! YOU’D BE SPEAKING GERMAN OR JAP IF THE ONES WHO CAME BEFORE US GAVE UP. WE AIN’T MAKING NO GODDAMN CORNFLAKES HERE! KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN AND YOUR ASS UP.

Notice that people like Little Charlie have no idea about civility in public discourse. Why does he have to resort to this kind of language to make his point?
And why is he upset that Valerie Plame will get a chance to tell her side of the “story?” He seems to anticipate that her testimony contradicts all of what he prefers to believe.
It is simply wrong how Little Charlie refers to those who came before us in the context of WW II. Those who came before us did not have to massage intelligence about the real threats of their time.

Beckwith was like Time, naming Adolph Man of the Year. Claiming his new state model, where business and gov’t worked so close together was the final solution vs. growing threats of Communism and ethnic tensions. The unitary furher is being revisited.

    during the libby trail,
did fitzerald say or address the fact that valerie plame was a cia agent or not?
    thank you,

If anything this give Cheney an out, there may be criminal case matters that could go out in this hearing.

The Repubs tried to ignore Fitz and Wilson matters, but when Dems took over they realized Justice must be allowed to shape the events as decided by a jury of peers.

I’d rather they go after contractor waste and fraud right now. Impose a penalty tax on appropriated funds misused.

If necessary enforce eminent domain upon contracted assets within the shpere of influence of our military bases at time of war. Fold Halliburton right up and tuck it into our pocket.

  • Mr.Murder

It would not be like Truman’s attempts to do so with private Steel business that in its was effectively meeting demand.

    Huge difference.

Immediately review all cost plus contracts and add a penalty tax multiple on it in proportion to subcontract fraud included.

Excercise domain where necessary in the two war theatres. There’s a great volume of Marshall plan rebuilding history to work from.

Apologies Beckwith, mistook you for a troll with the caps.

The German or Jap comments were mistaken with regards to your intent, taking offense lead to a conclusion you were being facetious with intent to irony.

Lets See..Some feel sorry for mr. Libby..Who Lied and Perjured himself under OATH..during an Official investigation conducted by the FBI and Justice Department..

Pardon an Attorney..Who Knew the LAW and who knew exactly what he was doing and what Laws He was breaking at the Time..No excuses..No alibis..

Duh..I did it cause I got
a bad Memory..(And because Cheney TOLD ME TOO..)

Wise Guy..he believed People would Keep thier Mouth Shut and Protect Him..and he would get away with his Lies and Deceit..

He knew even talking to reporters about Valories Job and where she worked was Wrong..He knew all about how the government operates..the Rules and what you can do and What you Can’t do..Like talk to the media about CIA Agents.

    HE HAS NO EXCUSES ..

Bottom Line is..He turned into a Wise Guy loyalist who Sold Out…Saluted …and Clicked His Heels..for the Fat Guy
Behind the curtain..Pulling and Pushing the Levers..trying to Intimidate and scare hell out of People ..

    You Know the Guy..

I Call him the”BUZZARD of OZ..”

And if anyone Ought to be going to KANSAS..Its Him..

If Libby had told the truth, wouldn’t it have cost the Presidential election? He (and the rest) should have been charged with treason.

I am so happy to hear all this hopeful news today. It is good that we will finally have some hearings on this whole thing. Dems really seem to be getting a whole lot of differnt things going quickly. Thank God.

I found an interesting op ed on the Brewster Jennings conection, and setting forth the idea that this was really Cheney’s target, at least initiallly… I know only a little about this part of it, and thought that maybe some of the wise ones here might be able to give me insight into this.

Except for those typed out by bloggers (notably FDL) and some reporters, there’s no publicly available ‘official’ transcript, at least not yet. Some of the ‘unofficial’ transcriptions may have something.

However, Fitz said in public announcements both before and immediately after the trial, Plame was covert. Some, such as WashPo, have transcripts of those speeches

    Scott Maxwell:

“did fitzerald say or address the fact that valerie plame was a cia agent or not?”

During the trial, he did not. The history of Valerie’s status was irrelevant to the charges of perjury before the Grand Jury and lying to the FBI.

That in itself doesn’t mean she was, and doesn’t mean she wasn’t.

Thanks Prchr Lady for the link to the article about Brewster Jennings. I had seen that back when it was on Wayne Madsen’s site, and now the article from OP-Ed News along with the excellent comments support the theory that the second Novak article really exposed the intent of the VP’s OSP agenda, besides a power struggle with the CIA.

The import of false WMD’s into Iraq from Turkey, true?..we’ll never know I think, but the movie will be great…if made.
Two other stories about Brewster-Jennings were
    1. they were involved in energy deals with Aramco to keep an eye on Saudi oil operations,
    2. They were involved in the ‘Stans trying to buy loose nukes and similiar weapons and materials.
Maybe they all are true, maybe those are planted stories deliberately spread thru people like Wayne Madsen to obscure the reality…for whatever agenda.

So that’s three stories about Brewster Jennings that I’ve heard,( and I’m so far out of that loop)…just like many other events, the truth will be obscured for any number of reasons…I’m just saying.

I still think Novak and the OSP should all do some time for the reckless way they endangered lives.
I’m really looking forward to the hearings and I hope the Wilson’s suit goes forward, and that the Pres and VP’s GJ testimony will be brought out.

Thanks KenBee. I knew it jogged omething in this old cobweb infested brain of mine. I probably should have done my own research, but sometimes there is not always a great reason to re-invent the wheel, so to speak. Fact checking is important, I agree.

It doesn’t surprise me that I wouldn’t remember a lot about this company, other than hearing that Valerie worked with/them, somewhere along the line. But somehow there is some connection I am missing here. Why would any agent, unless acting in a treasonous way, ever expose another agent (or a suspected) agent, for the unbelievers… why expose her??? I believe that more likely it was as Madsen writes, and the rats are starting to smell greatly to a lot more people…

Forget Impeachment if it is going to take too long. Try the buggers for treason, since we know who did what at least according to testimony..and let the world watch their trial on TV… Like we did with Sadam… I’m ready to tune in!!!
