The University of Chicago’s school of Economics is where Milton Friedman—-of Ronald Reagan “trickle down economics—came from. They’re VERRRRRY conservative, including being FOR privatizing Social Security, and they believe in free trade and NAFTA.

Obama’s economic advisors are mostly from that school.

I’ve worked on political campaigns, and they all have fundamental similarities, from congressional races to Presidential races.

I’ve seen a few times what works and what doesn’t work.

What’s more important is what works and WHEN it works, and what doesn’t work and WHEN it doesn’t work.

As for how McCain handles the credit crisis: DIVERT. Not to Ayers but to taxes. No one wants their taxes raised, but Obama has voted to raise taxes NINETY FOUR times. Forget the media on ‘deregulation’. People don’t know what it means.

Work more on Obama’s image. He’s not so great on the economy, people just don’t know it. He just memorised more talking points on the issue than McCain has.

Palin is good – forget the media on Palin. People love her. The Couric interview was a fuckup, but the debate was a win and now she’s a winner. Don’t let her on any TV screen unscripted or unsupervised and she’ll do great. People love her, like I said, conservatives love this woman and she appeals to conservative-leaning undecideds. She’s familiar.

It seems like you watch too much TV – or you take away TOO MUCH from the media.

The media have ALWAYS been Democratic, ever since I can remember. But why is it that Republicans have been in the White House plenty more times, and even recently, if the MSM is so powerful?

They’re not that powerful, they’re annoying, but if you waste your time getting angry about them, you’re wasting valuable time you could spend going after the real enemy, the guys pulling the strings of the media.

The debates are important, yes, but they won’t hand this thing to McCain. It’s not Kennedy-Nixon 1960 all over again, but it doesn’t look good.

In this day and age, where everyone wants to fuck a hot 20 year old celebrity princess, it’s to be expected that ignorant Hollwood loving Democrats will judge on appearance alone.

That’s why we heard McCain was ‘angry’ or ‘talking down’ to Obama or ‘sneering’. He wasn’t SNEERING for Christ’s sakes, he was looking at his notes, like anyone does in a debate, and he was smiling.

But lemme tell you something if you think the media will help you. They won’t.

You go on for ages about how bad the media is, then you come out and tell me by running stories about some guys no one even knows, the media will help win us this election.

Not likely.

You CANNOT convince people that Ayers and Rezko are bad. You can’t do it pal. You just can’t do it, not with pictures and not with text and I’ve seen too much of both lately.

You need VIDEO or at least audio of these guys talking rubbish about America. And you need to convince people Obama was buddies with them.

It’s one thing for the guys Pastor who married him and gave him a book title to be a nut – it’s clear that doesn’t look good.

But for the other two? If it were true, the media would have run it.

Right now, the liberals at CNN have run the Ayers thing – and they ALWAYS quote the NYT, as Palin did. But they quote the bit that goes ‘in conclusion, Obama didn’t have much to do with William Ayers’, (paraphrase).

Four weeks is an eternity. But it’ll take four weeks to get people to buy the Ayers thing.

Names dropping? You’re deluding yourself pal.

I know it feels good to want to get out there and hit Obama, to throw his anti-American connections in his fucking face. Yeah! But it doesn’t work.

Otherwise you’re going to hand this thing to our enemies and if Obama wins, lemme tell you something, if Obama wins his name might as well be Osama, and we might as well have handed the keys to the Oval Office to Osama bin Laden and his fucking buddies in Tora Bora.

Lastly, I looked up astroturfing. We used to call it ‘shilling’ for the other guy.

The General Election voting undecideds have been exposed to dirt by both camps. They know that a smear ad is a smear ad. They’re cynical about these things.

I know as well as you do, that Obama’s buddies hate America and hate what we stand for. They hate all that is well and good.

Not only that, Obama hates America. He’s running to destroy this country, what better place to tear something down, than the very top?

But that’s not the question. The question is CAN YOU CONVINCE people that Obama hates America?

You can’t. You can only convince them that he’s not right for the Presidency.

As for your last remark, you’re probably a Democrat since you mentioned Hillary and you probably followed that race – so fuck yourself, if you want to know who has run this country down it’s your fellow, or ex-fellow Party members, Bolshevik slime every last one of them. I used to work for a conservative print news magazine, and the news cyce for something like a missing tourist is a week or two, the news cycle for a disaster can be a month or more, the news cycle for this kind of thing is ‘however long it takes until the market hits rock bottom’.

And every time they run a news story about the markets, a voter goes to Obama.

I’m mad as hell that McCain was nominated in the first place, Giuliani should have been the man. But we’ve got McCain, he’s the best we’ve got.

Now I’m mad his fucking advisors aren’t advising him very well. They need to get the undecideds, not try and convince the American people that Ayers and Rezko are baddies UNLESS they have video to that effect.

Everyone saw Wright was a dirtbag because they saw the video. People need all this detail and history about Ayers and Rezko explained to them.

You guys are always going on about these deep connections here, but people don’t want to hear more than 2 lines about someone, even then it’s a stretch. They’d rather see to be convinced.

You need to make voters FEEL.

You need to make them FEEL like they hate Obama, like Obama hates the country.

They have to really HATE Ayers and Rezko, like you guys do, and they can’t be convinced of that hatred in four weeks – not with all the typeface in the world. Get audio or video and it’s a different matter.

The AP should be ashamed, but it isn’t. They are on the Obama victory train. The charge of “racism” is out and out ridiculous. Hey, but it worked against Bill and Hillary, right?

The “race card” has expired. It was only good during the primary. Obama has received all of the votes he’s ever going to get with the race card during the primary. The “card” maxed out back in June.

Frankly, I believe that Obama’s actually losing support among some of his own base by continuing to holler “racism” at non-supporters. He and his staunch supporters come across as whining. It’s a huge turn-off. I think they’re beginning to see his cries as a cover-up for his serious issues (lack of experience, connections with criminals, etc.).

As for 2004 – did Swiftboating work? Maybe. It helped.

But it got a bad run in the media, now it’s a bad idea. Swiftboating isn’t good anymore, it’s bad, especially to Middle America.

Another reason, in 2004, Bush didn’t win as much as Kerry lost.

Kerry was clearly a Massachussets liberal of the old Ted Kennedy style, and everyone knew it. They had clips of this guy throwing his medals over the White House walls.

Have you got any clips of Obama saying “the military are fuckheads”? or of HIM and not his WIFE or his PASTOR saying “I hate America”.

The only thing we have on Obama is “guns and money” and that’s been flogged to death too. So find something, or hit him on meat and potatoes issues that really resonate with Middle America. Because seriously, Rezko and Ayers don’t matter. They don’t. We’ve got 4 weeks to win this thing, don’t fuck it up.
