    What is the story with John McCain’s health insurance plan? Apparently, according to WSJ, Newsweek and others, he plans to tax employer paid health benefits in order to get people to get private plans. Some people have jobs with lower pay in order to get the benefits, like union people and government workers. Being a baby boomer, this is scary to me. This could be a huge tax increase. We wouldn’t even be able to get a private plan due to pre-existing conditions. Has anybody heard anything about this? Could he be talked out of this? This would really hurt lower and middle class people. It wouldn’t make me vote for Obama, but it really scares me. This could also really lose McCain alot of votes.

    I have no idea how the debate will go tonight, I won’t be able to watch. McCain can’t attack as any moderator will go after McCain for picking on Obama so I would prefer McCain skip the Oct 15 debate and just finish the campaign on the offensive. Still waiting on 527s and the Repubs to kick in. Way too quiet. Seems they have given up and just don’t want the White House with the mess the country is in.
