don’t blame mccain because people are fed up!

Obama and his supporters have been complaining the last couple of days, accusing the McCain campaign creating mob mentalities. I have read that they are forming lynching mobs, stirring up anger, and causing division.

And, you know what? The people ARE mad. But you can’t blame it on John McCain and Sarah Palin.

People are sick and tired of being called racist, over and over, and over, and over, and over again for not supporting Obama.

People are sick and tired that every single issue they bring up against Obama is called a racist attack.

People are really sick of hearing that Palin wearing white is a shout out to the KKK and therefore racist.

PUMA’s are pissed off at the lynch mob mentality that formed to paint Hillary and Bill Clinton as racists.

People are pissed off about the caucus fraud that they witnessed, by the Obama camp.

PUMA’s are pissed off at the DNC and their behavior during the Primary.

PUMA’s are angered that Obama and the DNC never spoke out against the vitriol attacks on Hillary.

PUMA’s are destroyed, feeling abandoned by their party.

PUMA’s are pissed off at all the boo’s and shouts that came with the mention of Hillary’s name at Obama rallies.

People are pissed off at the sexist attacks towards Hillary during the primary.

People are pissed off at the vitriol and sexist attacks on Sarah Palin, now.

People are beyond pissed about ACORN and the number of fraudulent registered voters, and Obama’s ties to ACORN. And that Obama gave them $800,000.

People are beyond pale that tax payer money, millions of dollars, has been paying for this fraud.

And that the Democrats attached this to the bailout bill.

People are mad that Obama lied about Wright.

People are insulted that Obama lied about Ayers.

People are disgusted that Obama lied about Rezko.

People are scared about all of Obama’s other questionable associations.

People are sick and tired of the biased pro-Obama media.

People are sick and tired of Obama taking credit for things that he had no hand in.

People are pissed off at the attacks they have endured, from Obama supporters, for months.

People are pissed off at being threatened with riots, should Obama lose.

People are disgusted with Obama’s major flip flops.

People are worried, since learning, about Obama’s socialist past.

People are freaked out by the Obama worship, the militant like groups, the *blue shirts*, the Hitler-esque salutes and symbols, and the children singing videos.

People are pissed off that Obama has very few accomplishments, and is given a pass.

People are pissed off that Obama is caught saying one thing publicly and another thing privately, and is given a pass.

People are pissed off that it is reported that Obama tried to negotiate with Iraq, and delay withdrawal to his benefit, and it is ignored in the media.

People are pissed off that Obama claims to have superior judgment, but makes massive judgment mistakes repeatedly, and is given a pass. The latest one today, wrt to the Hamas meeting.

People are astonished at the fake presidential seals, air force one, and world tours.

People are mad about learning the deceptive polling tactics – not asking which candidate you are supporting, but only asking issue related questions, and then assigning you a candidate.

People are sick and tired of listening to constant crazed attacks on Sarah Palin coming from Hollywood. And idiotic videos from Diddy.

People are sick and tired of being called racist, but the media ignoring that 93% of African Americans voted for Obama.

People are sick and tired of being harassed in the street for wearing a Clinton, or McCain/Palin button.

People are sick and tired of their Pro-Clinton or McCain yard signs being stolen.

People are outraged that their vehicles were vandalized for having Clinton or McCain stickers on them.

People are tired of being terrified by pro-Obama thugs who scream racist charges, and more, while they are sitting in restaurants.

People are sick and tired for doing research and trying to get to know a candidate and are personally attacked for it.

People are sick and tired of having Obama thugs hack their web sites and/or shut them down.

People are sick and tired of Obama supporters who never engage in dialogue or debate, but just resort to personal attacks.

People are sick and tired of enduring months and months of attacks, and listening to biased media coverage, and watching the attacks and lynch mob type behavior on the Clintons, and her supporters, and now McCain and Palin.

And NOW that a few people have stood up and vented that anger, and a few have screamed *terrorist* or *kill him* with the mention of William Ayers, McCain and Palin are being accused of forming lynch mobs, trying to divide the country, and worse.

Obama said that McCain and Palin are stoking anger and division.

It is not McCain and Palin that are stoking anger and causing divide. That was accomplished by Obama, the DNC, the MSM and the thug like behavior of Obama supporters.

People are pissed off. And people are feeling panicked. But, you can’t blame that anger on McCain or Palin. You can blame that on Obama and his supporters.

You can only kick a dog so many times before he finally bites you back.

(I could link to examples of every one of these situations, but frankly didn’t care to spend the time. They are out there. They have all happened. And I am sure there a many more.)

Reporters went to Indiana and verified that registration forms written and signed in the same hand; many attributed to the deceased, whose death certificates were produced by government offices….

    I always find a way to speak my mind directly. I can’t enjoy life these days in subjugation tactcs. Been there, done that, didn’t work.

    So I speak directly.

    I also like unity.

    So I pick and choose where I speak directly, only to contribute to unity.

    I have no desire to join in any kind of Republican backlash.

    I’m obviously, therefore, by definition, a swing voter.

    I would not vote at all before I’d go for any type of backlash movement.

    I am voting for McCain BECAUSE he speaks out, take back control when the crowds get rowdy. Obama doesn’t. Never did. It’s one of the reasons I don’t respect his campaign.

    So those of you who are hard-core conservatives and want to see blood flow?

    Just keep in mind, John won’t win without the swing voters such as me. I’m aware I annoy you. I annoyed the “progressives” too.

    When we tell you guys……we’re without a party, we’re not kidding.

    I’m not in the B/C gang. Never will be. Think they are fringe cases.

    I’m not going to any rally that encourages booing or insults of the opposition.

    I’m the real deal. A moderate.

    And right now, I’m the swing voter.

    I’d turn against McCain in a heartbeat if I saw him play the race card or strive to stir up hatred.

    I’d vote 3rd party or skip the top ticket.

    That’s a swing-voter’s attitude this year.

And these same “people” (read Democrats) would express admiration for Hollywood actors who never get married, but continue to have children and adopt children.     Obama said in Colorado Springs on 2 July:

    transcripts in a number of newspapers did not even include those words, but you would think it would have had the libertarian webmasters up in arms, so to speak! not at all. surely this civilian force alone should ring alarm bells for all americans.

    Palin has said global warming is partly man-made, partly cyclical, which is pretty much correct, but did that resonate with these libertarian websites? not at all.

    the hypocrisy and mysogyny of these libertarian websites has at least resulted in a downtown in traffic to their websites. justice of a sort.

    on the negative side, like some of you, i believe that young libertarian males and lgf-ers are the obots messing up anti-BO sites.

    finally, another anomaly of this campaign is the fact the Christian Science Monitor is completely in the tank for BO.

    Here again is my 2 cents. If Obama wins, guys, it’s explicable. It’s the economy. It doesn’t mean that he has some kind of mandate or that 48% of us disappeared.

    It’s just not that dang serious.

    The way I see Obama is less charitable than most who think he has radical viewpoints to push.

    The guy just wants to be the first AA president in the books.

    It’s that simple. He’s that simple.

    He’s so not dangerous.

    He’s not going to do a darn thing that upsets the country if he can help it.

    He just wants to be the first AA guy.

    What this amounts to is role reversals of those fighting for justice in the 60′s against those who opposed it.
    Now we have injustices flying everywhere including at good people BUT those who are doing it, are the very same ones who’s parents, and grandparents and themselves fought and even died for justice 40 and 50 yrs ago.
    But because now the assaults are directed towards whites that makes it okay? That this is some sort of payback? That to them equality means doing to others what they raged against when it was done to them, but now it IS okay if it means getting your way?

    Wrong is wrong! It was wrong then, it’s wrong now.

    I have a great dread of what’s coming on election day. No matter the outcome, I fear that the damage that’s been done will not only wipe out the 40 years of progress we’ve made on race relations, but that it’ll now take longer than another 40yrs, just to get back where we were before this election.

    It’s a challenge, for sure.

    But I know I’m not. I KNOW this, deep within.

    I do pay attition to my sterotyping. I am fairly secure in knowing that I am aware and watching it.

    I don’t think Michelle’s wild words in her younger years is particularly really a “drop the bomb” moment, for example.

    She’s loose. She’s an AA gal. She wasn’t thinking about being a first lady.

    I don’t think Obama is awful for being a part of the Trinity church…..it’s a source of funding.

    I DO hold him accountable for lying to the public.

However, my goal is like many others: to move towards reform in the democratic Party – no, not leave the party – to take it back and bring it more to the middle. Democratic reform will not take place with Obama in the White House. Actually I have more faith in Democratic reform with McCain, because he has vowed to hold all responsible parties accountable for the mess we have gotten into – Repubs and Democrats alike. I hope he is a man of his word – so far, he seems to be. Obama…not so much.

    I started bloggin about the race when we still had all the candidates. I was for Hillary, but liked a lot of them. I liked Obama but didn;t know him, and thought he was too inexperienced, and thought if he waited 4-8 years, he would be perfect. I even played around with the idea of his as VP.

    Then I started commenting on HuffPo and other sites, and just said I was voting hill, but was open to Obama – learning more, etc.

    I was called a racist slut, and worse, many many times.

    After researching, and going beyond the MSM, I started seeing a side of Obama that I did not like. The more I researched, the more I didn’t like what I found. And the more I, and others, were attacked, my once *like* of the guy became complete and utter disgust.

    And I am quite pissed off with the whole DNC. And even more so after this FM/FM disaster, and the ACORN crap, and well, just ALL of it.

    They were vile to Hillary, and now they are vile to Palin. But, one old lady stands up at a McCain rally and says Obama is Arab, and we are forming a lynching mob and inciting riots? It is beyond anything I have seen before. Did anyone speak to Madonna about her hateful comments, and tell her she was inciting riots against Palin? (and yes, she is not reprsenting Obama… jsut like no one else in hollywood. whatever.)

    The next several months are going to be very, very rough in this country. It won’t matter who wins the election.

    The big media is starting to tell us that IF Obama does not win – there will be “riots in the street”. This is another example of the overplayed “race card” that they pull out of their pocket when anyone should DARE to question Obama. The whole point is to scare Americans into voting for The ONE to stop the riots. The whole point is to convince every American that IF you don’t vote for Obama – then you are a racist because no other “excuse” will be acceptable or even reasonable.

    That is totally in the twilight zone. Not only are we talking about a man that almost NOBODY in America had heard of before he gave a speech in 2004 – but he is radically LEFT and has never done anything. This guy was totally tapped out in the year 2000. He had to leave the Democratic Convention before he even got in because his credit cards were rejected.

    Presto chango – 4 years later he give a “speech”, gets elected to the US Senate and immediately starts his run for the Presidency …… as a total unknown. NOW we are told that IF we don’t elect him, we are “racist” and there will be riots like they had in Kenya when his cousin lost the election. He and the media called great Americans like the Clintons’ “racists” and now they are doing the very same thing to McCain and Palin.

    John Lewis compared McCain to George Wallace today and said he was “sowing the seeds of racial hatred”. Lewis did this after McCain recently said in the Warren Forum that John Lewis is one of 3 people he would go to for “advise”.

    This is unbelievable and shows more than anything I’ve seen so far how out of control the Obama supporters and media have gone.

    I will say this (and said it back in January when the direction of Obama and the media became clear) – the media is correct in one respect.

    There will be “riots” after this election. Those “riots” will happen whether Obama wins or loses.

    Put it in your memory book — IF you live in an Urban Area — stay inside for a couple of days after the elections ….. it’s going to be ugly and dangerous.

    I believe firmly that McCain will win this election. Mainstream America will do what it always does — they move to the center just as they did with Bill Clinton and would have with Hillary …. they will reject the Far Left Obama just as they reject all Far Left candidates. The polls are really wonky and based on the overweight ACORN registrations and the oversampling of “Democrats” – not to mention Urban Areas. Think about it – would Obama be trying to buy 30 minutes of prime time on all three major networks the week before the election (costing bizillions of dollars) IF he believed the polls that say he is winning? NOPE – look at what they “do” not what they “say”.

    Stay safe and continue to build support against this “out of nowhere guy” who thinks he can buy the POTUS.

    The media bias is a very large part of the anger. it isn’t just bias, what we are seeing is a media that is cheating America by refusing to report on what is important news because it may harm Obama politically. I blieve that particular source of anger will grow and spread and be a large part of Obama’s fall.

    Because I am not angry. Well I am but mostly I am smug. I know many think I am crazy but I have never stopped believing that Obama can’t possibly win, that America will flirt with Obama but marry McCain. Now you can call that delusion or denial if you wish, I see it as faith the collective wisdom of the American voter.

    I understand that no one is perfect. I understand that at one point or another each of us has said or did something that we regret. But, its not an accident or mistake to go to a church, 2 Sundays a month, for 20 years & listen to racist sewage. Its not a small error in judgement to bring your two young impressionable children to these sermons.

    If there is a “whitey” tape, the racism is in what was on the tape; its not racist to report the facts or show the tape. Will showing the tape cause even more anger? Sure, it probably will. But nothing ever got solved or resolved by pushing it under the carpet, where it will fester and grown.

    I realized that I had been living in my liberal media bubble, and my opiions were all filtered through them.

    I used to argue with my conservative friends, and prattle on about how corrupt their party is, etc. all the while feeling superiour, that I was in the party of the people.

    well, i saw how that party treated it’s people, and it’s country, all for their own agenda.

    I have apologized to my friends.

    I still have issues that I disagree with the Right on, gay rights, prochoice, etc. but, at least Palin lives by her beliefs. Unlike people like Larry Craig. HA

    But, I just want someone of good character, someone who will work hard for ALL of America. Someone who sees the good in our country. And, for me, that is John McCain.

I put facts out which I had researched for years. The vicious attacks were uncalled for, now those facts are coming to life. I can’t even repeat the names I was called as a female, but when I kept an all day blog up with a person for Obama who didn’t belong going to school in the USA (everything pro-islam, burkas, women as dogs)I reported him & he was banned. The DNC helped bring this down and I for one am ashamed to be a Dem right now. I have never been this angry not even when Gore lost. I do not want to see Socialism or any other kind of ism here.

But John McCain and Sarah Palin are very fine people who are sacrificing immensely their personal lives to bring us a message of hope and faith in the American way and they are offering their lives as public figures and are offering their future as public servants. These people are patriots in the highest sense of the word. They should not be called racist when they have nothing to do with racism.

    It is Obama that from day one called attention to the color of his skin, his funny name and many other of his impolite and unsavory qualities. And it is obvious to anyone that he doesn’t have anything better to do than to run for president.

Oddly enough, none of these people ever voiced the slightest concern over the videos of Wright “rousing the mob” in CHURCH by making up complete LIES about our country and about all the white citizens therein. And, my instinct tells me that people that do not put Obama stickers all over their cars-houses-business- are either going to vote for Mccain-or just are afraid to tell others how they are voting. My instinct tell me that they are going to vote for Mccain secretly. That they don’t want others to know what they are feeling. My brother in law lives in Texas- a diehard democrat- never talks to anyone- a real quiet guy- doesn’t talk politics. My sister just told me that he received his change of party and he made himself independent. Looking at this action- I know he is going to vote for Mccain. Quietness tells you what people are thinking-look around your neighborhood and you can tell who is voting for who>

    Most Americans are just now realizing – to their horror – that the MSM outlets are no longer truly independent news sources anymore. Formerly indedpendent news sources like the Washington Post (who was brave enough to report Watergate and helped to get Richard Nixon out of the White House) are now completely corporate & anti-everyday American.

    They are owned by huge Wall Street corporations and have been for at least 15 years now. NBC networks are owned by General Electric. ABC is owned by Disney. CBS is owned by Viacom. The New York Times is owned by the New York Times Corporation – which also owns twenty-four other major newspapers across the United States, including the Boston Globe. And on and on….

    And virtually ALL of them have invested in Barack Obama.

    The MSM corporations think that they have the luxury of being biased because they are huge & have income coming in from other non-media products they sell. Take General Electric for example. G.E. has billions of dollars coming in from their other businesses. Until today, I didn’t even know that they manufacture jet engines! So what do they care if disgruntled Hillary & McCain supporters stop watching Chris Matthews’s and Keith Olbermann’s stupid asses on MSNBC? G.E., I’m sure, figures that they will get our money anyway by buying their lightbulbs or stoves or anything else they sell.

    THIS is why it’s extremely important for us to tune out the MSM. And to go vote for McCain on Election Day. Our VOTES are extremely powerful and important.

    Where is the media outrage over that remark? The thing that gets me is that the Democrats had so much to run on this election. They could have left the race part out and just run on restoring the people’s faith in their government, working to make it better for everybody. What an achievement it was that the nation was ready to not focus on race, but to try and lift all boats. What irony that Obama played the race cards and made it all about race again because it was the only way for him to win.

    I felt exactly as you feel yesterday. But today I think he was sort of staying that the ill will towards Obama does not continue to feed at least during his town hall meetings. A respite if you will – until the next debate.

    I also think he doesn’t want to continue much further in this direction of attacks towards Obama’s as a terrorist sympathizer. It can be dangerous to Obama’s life and I think McCain does respect and want to protect Obama from being the target of an assassination attempt during the days remaining of the campaign.

    I also think that he wants to use other issues such as the one raised by Palin today. I think he wants to open the discussion some more on other issues and not remain pegged to the ‘bad judgment’ issue alone.

    Senator Obama supporters are given a free ride and they abuse it daily. I have been treated better by local nationals in Iraq, who probably hate the fact we are there, than individuals who fall in behind Obama and support that Democratic ticket. For me to say that bothers me on many levels. He inspires a type of hate I have never seen in any election. He has manipulated the race card to a point we will be feeling the consequences years from now. The MSM no longer even pretend to be unbiased and campaign on behalf of him daily. It’s sad that there are people in this country with fear based on the fact they choose to support a candidate based on there very own judgment. No one should be afraid to cast there vote a certain way. No one should be harassed or threatened. But when we allow ourselves to give in, they win. There are days that I honestly wish we never heard the name of Barack Obama. Not for myself, because I can give just as much I get. If I can survive the streets of Baghdad, I can handle Obama supporters that squat on my blog daily just to harass me. Just don’t give up, because then they will win.

    I do volunteer, I have gone to the fundraisers and rallies, and I give as much money as I can. I see a lot of people here who claim they are voting for McCain and Palin while holding their noses. Not ME. I am thrilled and honored to vote for BOTH of them. My family knows the McCains well. He’s an amazing man. Period. And, well, you can’t get more amazing than Palin IMO. So, the one ray of sunlight for ME is that I am not voting AGAINST Obama, I am voting for people who I really BELIEVE will change this country positively and with long lasting results. Government can confiscate magazines from news stands, no due process of law. What we could do was to function as ‘small” media, spreading out information to one person, to two people, …… tirelessly, continuously.

    We are lucky today because we at least have the Internet.

    I think there are probably few that agree with their party entirely. I definitely think evangelicals take it way too far, and so do the left wing loons (PETA demanding human breast milk in your Ben & Jerry’s for instance???).

    I am pro choice and socially liberal. However I usually vote Republican because I believe in capitalism, small government, low taxes and I want the government out of our personal business as much as possible. I believe in legal immigration…not illegal…for the safety and prosperity of our country, not out of racism. I hate that both parties pander to illegal immigrants (but not to the non-Mexican ones). They are bankrupting our hospitals now. Right after 9/11 I remember thinking “What is Bush DOING” when he refused to close down our borders which the terrorists can so easily cross.

    Bush has also allowed the Fannie/Freddie fiasco to continue–which is a Dem socialist program gone wrong. Some may argue that it was capitalist greed, but it was no longer capitalism when the Dems demanded (by law) that banks give mortgages to unqualified applicants based solely on minority status. That is interference with the free market.

    I do think there should be some level of social programs for people who TRULY cannot help themselves, and in my mind it would be truly criminal not to help them. However, for those gaming the system, I have ZERO sympathy.

    When I was younger, I was probably more of a liberal, maybe even a feminist. But what I found out over the course of my life is that idealism (which I equate with liberalism) doesn’t usually work out in a practical sense. Things just simply aren’t ideal in this world. Therefore, I’m more of a realist now than an idealist.

    The current incarnation of the Democratic party is wildly liberal. I wish some sane people would take it back.

    I’d say the makeup of my neighborhood (about 500 homes) is roughly 70% AA, 25% Caucasion, 5% Oriental. You would think there would be dozens of signs. But I’ve only seen 3; 2 for McCain, 1 for Obama (and that is an old sign…they got it out of state at one of the primaries).

    I think the AA’s in my neighborhood are torn. This is an upper class neighborhood. I have 2 doctors, a surgeon and and orthodontist behind me…and thats just the ones I know. I think they realize that Obama is feeding them a line of crap. But I think they will vote for him anyway.

    I think anyone for McCain is afraid to put up a sign because of the makeup of our neighborhood. But I put up my sign this weekend. We’ve had bumper stickers on our vehicles for a month & no one has vandalized them.

    Re BO and taxes: With all the Ayers Rezko Corsi stuff swirling around, I was not paying attention — but this might be worth some thought:

    Fox just had that WSJ guy on (ended at 11.30 pm est) and he was doing a bit re BO’s tax plan that is apparently so popular — ‘tax cuts for 95% of Americans.’

    Well, here is what I realized as I listened to this:

    (1) BO is calling a loose collection of one-time tax credits ‘tax cuts’ — apparently because it is money that is being going to be circulated out to some taxpayers who file the right forms to get one-time credits. Some of these credits will be for buying hybrid cars, some for child care, some for who knows what, maybe like home insulation, college tuition, whatever.

    (2) The WSJ guy didn’t say this, but in fact it is true that unless these ‘tax cuts’ (really tax credits) are made 100% refundable (and very few are, except like child credits for low-income taxpayers), those who have no income tax liability to begin with will not receive even one penney of the supposed ‘tax cut’ (really a credit against taxes otherwise payable) unless they actually have some tax liability for something.

    (3) Some 40% of people in the US have incomes that are so low that they actually have _no_ tax liability at all anyway — so unless the type of tax credit they might happen to apply for is fully refundable (i.e., check in the mail ‘here’s your ‘tax credit”), they can file an application with the IRS for it, but they won’t be able to make any financial use of it because they have no tax liability against which to apply it.

    (4) There is no reliable way to guesstimate how many people in the US will actually qualify for and know to apply for and will actually be able to use these so-called ‘tax cuts’ (really just credits against tax liability). So the 95% figure is total hogwash, a lie, misleading, call it what you will. But at best it can only be 55% (95% minus 40% who can’t use a tax cut anyway because they have no tax liability).

    (5) Plus, the rate increases I saw on the screen for dividend income (BO will raise from 15% to 20%) and capital gains (can’t remember, but it was at least 5%, probably more), and one other item all clearly apply to anyone living on a combination of low income plus some investment income including capital gains or dividends — duh — most seniors. So even though an awful lot of seniors are just on the cusp of having no tax liability, those who have some investment incomes are going to get hit with a tax increase even if they are in that under-$50,000 range that BO claims is tax exempt.

    Bottom line: I don’t know who here is smart enough to spell this sort of thing out in a way that can be readily understood, but it does seem that if people understood that the one thing that might make them hold their noses and vote for BO because they are so mad at the Repub brand is actually as much hot air as the rest of BO’s resume, policies, and suffers from the same lack of directness and honesty as the Ayers etc. issues reveal — maybe it would have some impact.

    The WSJ guy seemed to think that McCain actually has several policies (not just the mortgage resuscitation thing) that are to the left of BO — including his tax policies — and would be of interest to voters if they could access the concepts.

    I wish that the bi-partisan system would go away. It has caused more problems in THIS election than I have ever seen. So many people knowing that voting for Obama is just plain dead wrong, but in some sick way thinking “it’s what Hillary wants” which is some deranged thinking. Especially since it’s really NOT what the Clintons want.

    I do disagree with one thing here…It’s he DNC’s fault partially for Bush. I personally don’t think Gore or Kerry would have been very good Presidents. And quite frankly we haven’t had 9/11 again and I would have left the country had GORE been President after 9/11. He’s too Hollywood, too weak and let’s all agree that Bush could call his father, George Sr. for advice. I wish the DNC would start picking decent cadidates. Kerry? ROFLMAO. Come ON. Who thought that would happen? As for Obama, clearly really bad judgment. Hillary would be up 20-30 points by now and none of us would have even had to show up to vote. And I would sleep at night, rather than freak out over where I will move.

    I think there is one and only one source of the anger. It’s Barky, himself. He loves to insult people. At least those he thinks either have no place else to go or whose loss of votes won’t hurt him. He’s calculating and callous, divisive and dismissive, arrogant and rude.

    He’s also prejudiced. Prejudice means, I believe, judging people before you know them. That’s what he did to all of us rural dwellers when he said we were bitter, dead-enders, clinging to our guns and bibles. Dismissing a whole class of people is prejudiced. Golly, and I bet he’s always congratulated himself on being so enlightened.

    I get really jumpy about this. People sound so down and then Obama’s number go up, the market crashes and his numbers go more up. The thing is I don’t see any congruency between the poll numbers and the people. Not many big Obama rallies anymore. Not many Obama bumper stickers. Not much of anything. It doesn’t make any sense. My mind is stuggling between believing the media and believing the people on these blogs. I wasn’t alive then but when Reagan won 49 states, were the polls the same? I think I heard something like that but I’m not sure.

    At one of McCain’s rallies yesterday, a woman from the audience told McCain she thought Obama was an ‘Arab’ and McCain immediately dismissed it and said that he was a fine, family man and that he wasn’t an Arab. He told his audience that he and Obama had differences but that they shouldn’t be afraid of him (Obama) and that they should be respectful towards him. This was shown as a clip on FOX NEWS.

    Now, did anyone EVER hear anything like THAT coming out of Obummer’s mouth defending HILLARY when the news media, his thug supporters (and himself) were bad mouthing her? NO! NO! NO! This woman (Hillary) was in is very OWN PARTY and HE DID NOT SAY ONE WORD in defending her, yet McCain ‘scolded’ his OWN audience and asked them to behave and treat Obummer with respect.

    Did anyone else see, or notice this? The cry baby Obummer camp and fans were getting po’d because the rallies in McCain’s camp were getting angry and getting MAD AT MCCAIN for him to stand up and fight against Obummer. When McCain saw the anger, I guess he felt compelled to tell them to calm down – but if it were Obummer and his gang getting angry, I’m sure Obummer and his camp would have encouraged the anger and would NOT tell their ‘followers’ to cool it. I can’t stand this arrogant, creepy jerk!

    I wonder what Hillary thought about that?

    Andrew, I was alive but I really didn’t pay attention. I wish we had the Reagan years back. I remember everyone being happy, no fear like 9/11 (I will never be the same after that) and there was money all over the place.

    HOWEVER, this is what I remember…Reagan had ZERO experience and was an actor and California two term Governor. He ran against Carter. From what I understand he only won in the last 72 hours of the race. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I have tried to study all this so I can find my own hope in this mess. So, yes, I think Reagan took it the first time at the very end.

    Obama was an attorney for and trained ACORN, a group that sent members into banks to intimidate loan officers. Members of the CBC pressured bank executives to make bad loans. Carter and Clinton changed laws so that bad loans were essentially mandated. When the subprime slime started to affect the stock market last year as the housing bubble popped, banks were blamed for making bad loans and for pressuring low income people into taking subprime ARMs.

    Obama, ACORN, and Congress created this mess but they want the banks and the Republicans to take the blame. We currently have a $3 trillion loss in the markets as a result of this mess and people are upset, scared, and they want to elect Obama? How rational is that?

    All of the media is owned by just 6 corporations and it seems like those owners are done with capitalism and want Obama to lead the way towards a socialist system. What, they didn’t make enough money with the capitalist system?

    Is this country so far gone that it’d elect a left-wing extremist like Obama to lead a center-right nation? Let’s do all we can to see that doesn’t happen. This country needs to be saved from itself.

    This is my first time posting. I have wondered if Obama sees the presidency of the United States as a “stepping stone” to a much larger agenda, such as Secretary General of the United Nations. Just a speculation, but his politics are steeped in socialism. One might conclude that his agenda and backers see something larger on the horizon, something more like a United Nations being the “world government”.

I do think crying racism is still preventing scrutiny of the many things he’d rather hide, and allowing a ‘pass’ where he doesn’t deserve one. It’s a good distraction technique. Also, the madder people are, the more likely they are to show up at the polls. He is desperate for the AA turnout.

    Mine started with the New York Times blog back in January. I couldn’t believe the Clinton venom I saw there after the first Democrat debate. When Obama told Hillary, “You’re likeable enough.” At first, I thought it was an innocent remark. But as I started researching Obama’s background & watching him from that moment forward, I realized that it was actually arrogance behind that remark.

    But what truly drove me away from Obama early on was the HUGE MSM push he got right out of the gate in the primary – from the time he got Iowa since.

    It’s easy to become agitated and angry, we’ve been disenfranchised and smeared and defrauded by the DNC. We can work for McCain/Palin and make sure they win in November. I’m remembering all those organizations and causes I previously supported and donated money to. I’m not renewing my membership nor supporting any of them now. Most of my family are Bots and I do not enjoy being around them. Still, it won’t do any good to become so angry that we are creating ill health, e.g. higher blood pressure. I try to meditate when I’m angry, or watch one of my wonderful Netflix. Thank God for the internet and No Quarter. In previous times we would not even have access to this sort of information. I don’t advocate just listening to the radio, but I do advocate listening to classical music in times of stress. Chopin and Brahms are really great.

    U ARE SO LUCKY that you were able to go see her. I really regret not going, I just couldn’t get a ride, first order of business, get a car, I’m in West LA, so Carson was kinda far. I did find it odd that she would even bother coming to California knowing CA would vote for a toothbrush as long as it was a Democrat LOL but maybe their internal polls are telling them something. I tell ya I have seen many McCain signs in my area recently, today I went to The Grove, not sure if your familiar with that mall, but anywho, in that area, which is definitely Democrat, I saw LOTS of McCain signs, a few Obama ones, but the McCain ones definitely outnumbered them, so who knows, crazier things have happened. As far as Sarah goes, she is REAL and that’s why I love her. When the stupid “troopergate” crap came out yesterday I actually started crying cause she is being screwed over, she did NOTHING WRONG, was just protecting her family, no matter what happens in this election, I want her to still be able to govern the state that she loves so much. It’s disgusting that they treat her like a criminal.     I heard a Gallup pollster interviewed on Michael Medved’s radio show the other day confess that the number of hang-ups is normally around 40%-50%, but that this year an astonishing 80% of the people they call are refusing to talk !

    So who are the Gallup people, for example, actually talking to and how can their polls be representative of the actual electorate ? Maybe their party affiliation samples are so skewed (25% Republican, 30% Independent, 45% Democratic) because more McCain than Obama supporters are not willing to disclose their preference ??

    I find the polls very encouraging for John McCain on two fronts. First, the polls are weighted to show an Obama advantage. Second, this advantage works to McCain’s favor because Obama supporters will feel he is safe and not vote while McCain supporters will be out in full force.

    If Obama is buying 30-minute informercials his internals are not showing the same numbers as the polls. If McCain is biding his time he knows that right now he is in the lead.

    Tonight we talked to someone who works in the federal courts here in Chicago.

    The buzz in those corridors is that federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has been leading a team of FBI investigators in 10 states working on a RICO case.

    Today, it was announced that ACORN is being investigated in 10 states.

    That’s one heck of a coincidence.

    We asked why Fitzgerald would be involved in this, because he’s the prosecutor on the Tony Rezko case and we aren’t aware of ACORN being investigated in Illinois.

    We were told that ACORN was investigated in Illinois years ago, and it was a Fitzgerald case then. This means ACORN’s activities today, involving a conspiracy to commit multi-state voter fraud on SoetorObama’s behalf, are an extension of that previous ACORN case.

    Our source in federal courts said, “Any crime that involves more than two people and is carried out across state lines qualifies as a corrupt organization. The fact that those “Goodwill” donations were made in Texas and received at Obama headquarters in Chicago or Washington means it qualifies for RICO.”

    The “Goodwill donations” referred to above are the $228 million in undocumented, unverified campaign contributions the Obama camp has received — which the McCain campaigned filed a complaint to the FEC on this past Monday.

    We’ve also heard that the Clinton campaign filed complaints to the FBI and other federal agencies over Obama’s fraud in the Iowa, Texas and other caucuses: voter intimidation, registration fraud, and other illegal activities.

    The last thing we were told tonight in regards to all of this was that “the memo here is a tying together of all these various threads. That’s what you will see in the last weeks of the campaign: all things being tied together”.

    If everything rumored here is true, it looks like David Axelrod, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Obama himself, and possibly even Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were all involved, together, in massive RICO violations, and thus federal fraud, if the DNC and party leadership knew what the Obama campaign and ACORN were up to and allowed it to proceed. Knowledge of federal crimes being committed makes all parties accessories to those crimes — and part of the conspiracy to defraud the public

    Yes Annin, there are a lot of us in the same situation and it is a scary proposition. And I think you are saying that you don’t want to vote for Obama because of his economic policies. If that is the case, you are right because his economic policies are all wrong for our Country.

    My thoughts are that if Obama gets elected and the Dems achieve their majority, we will be so controlled by new government bureaucracy that we will not be able to breath. Our national debt will skyrocket because they will be borrowing money (from Japan and China) to pay for all their new programs plus they will have to raise taxes to help pay for these programs. So we really need to vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin and also for any good Republican Senator and Representative, then we all can work on getting our old Democratic party back. The party that used to be for the people.

    Tampa, you are right. The mayor of Gary is black and a lot of posters were joking that he and his buddies were out ‘digging people up’ (note the sarcasim) to vote. It was way AFTER 1:00 EST before the mayor called in the vote.

    Before that, Hillary was WAY ahead and when the Gary vote FINALLY came in, it pushed Obama up within 1-2 percentage votes of Hillary. I was watching the whole thing and was becoming horrified and extremely MAD at what I was watching. Gary, IN is right next door to Chicago; they share the same news/tv channels, and apparently, the same ‘values’. I live in Southern Indiana and Gary, IN is notorious for voter fraud.

Unemployment was cut in half, interest rates were cut by almost 2/3, inflation was cut in half, government income almost doubled and Reagan left office with one of the highest approval ratings of any president since they kept track of the stat after one of the largest electoral landslide victories in our nations history (for a bunch of unhappy unemployed people they sure seemed to love him).

    We were strong, prosperous, our allies loved us and our enemies feared us… the way it should be.

    We need to see actions behind our words. We need to get a list of the media’s sponsors and write them letters and actually boycott their products. THE KEY WORDS: ACTUALLY BOYCOTT THEIR PRODUCTS. Hit them where it hurts; their pocketbooks.

    I know someone here posted a list one time of MSNBC’s, CNN’s, NBC’s, CBS’s, ABC’s sponsors. We need to organize and get that list together and spread it to everyone we know just like we’re spreading the viral video up thread. We need to continue boycotting them even after the election or they will never change their ways.

    So let’s organize somehow. Any ideas anyone? We need to take turns watching the channels mentioned above (yuck) and write down the sponsors for that particular hour or two we are assigned.

    Don’t give up. There are millions of patriotic, freedom-loving Americans that share our fears and concerns.

    Remember this — in the Revolutionary times they had no t.v., no Internet, only word of mouth and pamphlets.

    33% of the population was for the Revolution and Independence from England, 33% were against it, and 33% were undecided.

    Our numbers are in the millions, but we must communicate with one another and others who don’t yet know who Obama really is.

    Continually plant seeds of doubt with people about Obama.

    Find out out what their “hot button” is.
    Gather information – start a file with You Tubes, links to articles, etc.

    Make up a boilerplate e-mail or fax to send people and if they give you their e-mail or fax #, you can send it to them.

    If it creates doubt in them and causes them to change their mind, they will talk to others. Remember the movie, “Pay It Forward?”

    We have 24 days before the election. That’s like a lifetime in politics.

    Don’t let fear paralyze you and do not underestimate the power of the truth.

    Talk to people that you get on the phone with for customer service calls. Plant a seed before you hang up.

    I will say to Customer Service Reps, “Hey, I’m just curious — what do you think about Obama?”

    If they are unsure or like him (most people are not as involved as we are and really don’t know much about him, except what the media says.) ask them if you can send them a little something, via e-mail, about Obama.

    Just copy and past your boilerplate e-mail onto a new message and send it to them.

    Or take information with you to the store.
    Print it out – with links to the truth about Obama.

    Hand them out to people in the line at the grocery store, or while you’re waiting in line at the DMV, or wherever.

    Just start up a conversation and say, “Hey,what do you think about Obama?”
    Before you leave, hand them a sheet with information on it.

    Don’t be afraid to speak up. This election is about our Freedom!

    You and I are ordinary people talking to ordinary people.

    Believe me, it’s powerful.

    This is what our Founding Fathers did in the beginning of this great country.

    In 1776 Thomas Paine wrote “Common Sense.” It was written in plain English for the common man to understand. It made a huge difference.

    There is so much garbage on Obama that all you have to do is scratch his “skin” and green and yellow pus oozes out.

    All they have to do is have a little doubt that causes them to make that first scratch.

    How many times have you read a comment or heard someone say, “I liked Obama — until I started really looking into who he was. Then I realized he was not good for America.”

    Both of you I feel as you do. I am physically sick thinking Obama may become president. I used to have long, beautiful natural nails and now I’ve bitten them down to the quick in the past four months. My hands look terrible but I can’t seem to stop picking at them all the time because I am so nervous about this election.

    I’m thinking of seeing a psychiatrist too but my husband just says I need to stop blogging and driving my blood pressure up. I can’t! I’ve told him that I can’t just stick my head in the sand and hope that an Obama presidency will be OK or that it won’t affect us.     Bob, I was worried about that, too. But I saw some more detail on his plan, and there ARE CONDITIONS.

    For example, the borrowers have to prove they were credit-worthy, didn’t commit fraud in their mortgage application and had put in a down payment in order to get bailed out. I pray that he sticks to this. As “The Renter”, I was very very very pissed when I heard him announce his plan at the debate, but as the days go on, it looks more and more like, “If you can afford your home’s new value at a reasonable interest rate, we’ll help make it happen for you.” Not the plan of my dreams, but an example of how Mc will bring COMPROMISE to the executive office.

    Another condition is that it’s for primary mortgage-holders only. Speculators lose.

    I was ILL when I heard him mention his plan in the debate. Now I’m less upset with him, because it APPEARS that those who have no business owning won’t be GIVEN a home.

    I am fortunate I got rid of my TV several months back so I do not watch any of those channels. I have no problem with boycotts – I never touch the NYT anymore or go to their website. Same holds true with TIME or NEWSWEEK magazine, even sitting in a waiting room I will not touch those magazines. Several weeks back when Palin was on the cover of NEWSWEEK I wanted to buy it so bad, but would not give them the satisfaction. I know I am one person, but I can hold a grudge – I have never purchased EXXON gas since the Valdez spill.

    I agree. Centrist Democrats have to vote for McCain. I’d rather have a moderate Republican than a socialist any day. I’ve seen what has happened to every other socialist country and it isn’t pretty, so yeah, Obama *does* scare me.

    One thing I wish someone would explain to me someday – why do the college professors and hippies always vote for the reds? Haven’t they ever seen what happens to those types in a socialist or communist regime? Do either Chavez or Castro seem like someone who tolerates snide intellectuals or protesting potsmokers?

    My daughter, who is 24, saw Palin speak on t.v. and said, “Mom, if you weren’t my mom I would want her to be my mom. I feel like I can trust her.”

    McCain’s campaign sent me a picture of him and Palin and she put it up on the piano in the front livingroom.

    She has never been excited about politics (and works in Davis which is very liberal – at the Health Food Grocery Store, which is filled with Obots).

    My son, 22, is an Intelligence Analyst with the Air Force in HI and last night we were talking on the phone about the election.

    He said, “Mom, Sarah Palin is really hot!”

    I told him they have a saying in Alaska, “The coldest state with the hottest governor.”

    Another case of taking something, claiming it is what it isn’t and not only going into excruciating detail but blowing it up beyond anything resembling what they started with.

    I share my response for whomever might be running into the same thing. Meanwhile, Obama in Wonderland skips along saying whatever and doing whatever he wants while all cheer and, I suppose, by now, lay palm fronds before his burro — isn’t that how they welcomed the First Coming into the Holy City?

    Anyway, on to the trooper-fizzle story.

    This exchange sounds like a pissing match between people who aren’t about to change their minds so I’m not sure why I bother [and don't bother writing back to tell me I'm an X, Y or Z (in your opinion, which has no weight with me)] but there are a few points being missed about the whole “expose” from the Alaska “committee.”

    First, what is being quoted is the report of the “investigator” — which was released by the committee — and has not been ratified, voted on or otherwise acted on by either the committee or any other branch of Alaska state government. The Attorney General specifically has counseled all to be very careful about reading anything into it or drawing any conclusions.
    But, on to the subject matter itself:

    Todd Palin (who was apparently the most concerned about this trooper still being on the job) came to the defense of his dad and his extended (by marriage) family, and others. I wouldn’t apologize for that and I don’t expect he will.

    The gentleman who was offered a transfer (for insubordination totally unrelated to any trooper issue) and chose to resign, was never instructed or asked to fire anybody by the Governor, according to him, quoted today.

    There has been speculation that the Governor, because the Governor by definition has influence due to the nature of the position, might have “abused” that influence to gain some personal advantage (normally, under Alaska law, assumed to be financial — the statute they cite is used in bribery cases or extortion cases — public officials trading influence for dollars). As the Governor’s attorney has pointed out, there is no evidence in this matter that even remotely approaches a covered situation.

    And, note, as to the above admission by the department head himself that he was never asked to fire anybody, his replacement in the position also was never asked to fire anybody and the trooper remains employed today. What they did do was to try to get the public safety commissioner to act on the allegations against the trooper (a complaint case started before Palin became Governor) and remove a dangerous person from the employ of the state.

    The report is the report of one investigator. That’s it. The investigator hired by the vehemently anti-Palin head of this witch hunt who is on record as promising an “October Surprise” to take Palin down (and was originally planning to release the “report” of his investigator — a threat he made well before the report was even finished (anybody wonder how he knew how it might come out) — three days before the election so no one would have time to respond — a move blocked by the committee). This “report” engages in rank speculation about motive and cause and effect that cannot possibly be substantiated. It is the rankest form of speculation.

    But, there is more. Speaking of potential tangible “gain” to Governor Palin from all this.
    The only thing Governor Palin (or Todd Palin) had to “gain” from the dismissal of a potentially dangerous state trooper from the state payroll, was the public good. He should have been dismissed and the only “injustice” remaining related to this incident is that he’s still working, with law enforcement authority, carrying a weapon and driving a state vehicle. I’ve worked with a lot of law enforcement officers at all levels, including federal and I can’t imagine this man still being in uniform. If something happens involving this trooper, with his record and the state’s prior notice of his behavior, the lawsuit against the State of Alaska for allowing him to remain on the job will be monstrous.

    But you folks can tear all that up and scatter it around the yard and amuse yourselves with. It can occupy many kittens for hours. Enjoy.

    But, to the crux of this thing that’s been overlooked (not by the campaign but by a host of bloggers) relates to the dispute between the Governor and one of her appointees (by law) running a state agency. The fellow to whom she offered a transfer who chose, instead, to resign.

    The entire incident, once you get past the conjured up “troopergate” tabloid story, shows the Governor in only the best possible light. I would talk about it all the time, as perhaps they will. If you think Governor Palin is going to run from this, you just don’t know her at all.

    The guy was transferred for insubordination but, more specifically (as I understand it), for refusing to cut his budget.

    That was one of the Governor’s driving missions in office, to cut spending and streamline state government. Having to fire a department head because he refused to reduce spending in his department says nothing but good things about the Governor. Position I’d recommend, if she cared what I thought about it: I did it and I’d do it again tomorrow.

    Side Note: The “report” suggested that family issues with the trooper in question might have had something to do with the transfer/resignation of the department head.

    Now, aside from the speculation, which has no place in a “finding” of any fact-finding enterprise [imagine a jury coming back with a verdict of, "Well, they might have done something but they didn't do what you said they did and, anyway, we're not sure what it might have been, or whether they did it at all but they probably maybe did, but it wasn't anything they couldn't do anyway and that's all we have to say about it"].

    Aside from the fact “probably maybe” should never be included in such a report, the “personal interest” issue can be turned around. The insubordination that the department head demonstrated, which eventually led to his transfer/resignation, indicates he had a bone to pick with the Governor.

    Might his own personal animosity have led him to resist replacing a state employee despite that employee’s clear record of misconduct? If he’d gotten rid of this trooper when he should have, there would have been no “issue” in the first place. Whether or not there is a real issue even now is highly suspect.

    But, bottom line and regardless of that peripheral issue: The Governor removed him because he wouldn’t reduce spending.

    I say Bravo!!!

    A disclaimer. I was once a state department head, appointed directly by the Governor. We had a budget cut-back and all department heads got a memo telling us to submit revised annual budgets showing a 5% overall reduction, to come from wherever we chose. It was not easy. The largest expense is salary and fringes so you’re facing firing somebody. But, I did it. The Governor was my “boss” in all ways, and department heads always serve “at the pleasure of the Governor.” That’s the way it is and everyone understands that.

    If I had called the Governor and said I wasn’t going to do it, I would not have lasted through the day, much less been offered a transfer. The Executive Department is the Governor’s team. No questions asked. In fact, on a change in administration, the first thing all department heads wait to hear is whether or not they’re going to be kept on.

    In some states, everyone submits a resignation letter by protocol so the Governor can simply accept those he or she is changing and keep the others if they so choose (there are some very specialized positions that are considered to be “non political” in nature — but the head of the state police and the head of the state NGuard unit(s), for example, certainly are not in that category). The Governor is expected to put their own people in place and they do, with rare exception.

    In summary, there is no “there” there.

    So, for those who care, there it is. For those who don’t, I don’t.

    To be accurate, Indonesia changed its policy and allowed dual-citizenship beginning 2006. But Berg alleges that since he traveled in 1981 to Indonesia, India and Pakistan, and Pakistan was experiencing a period of great turmoil during that time, the State Department had Pakistan banned as a travel destination for US citizens. In addition, Pakistan did not welcome non-Muslim visitors unless they were on official business and had the permission of their embassies. So, it was clear that at the age of 20, he traveled to these places with a non-US passport, most likely Indonesian. The catch is that Indonesians passports have to be renewed every 5 years, which means that he was most likely traveling as an Indonesian citizen during that time. But keeping his Indonesian citizenship meant that he gave up his US citizenship because the Indonesian law at that time did not recognize dual citizenship AND by the US immigration law, he lost his ‘natural born’ citizenship.

    Now, when he decided to return to US for good, he could have filed for citizenship through naturalization (like many other illegal aliens), but there is not record of him every doing that, and he, the DNC and FEC refuses to show Berg the proof otherwise. Berg alleges that without those documents, BO is technically an ‘illegal alien’.

    Hi to all of you. Although I have been regular visitor it was only few time that I posted few links. I was in LA for the Oscars and got hooked into following your primaries and helping Hillary (I live in London and usually try to read anything regarding media hype for my job), mainly due with my fascination of biased media.

    As an expert on media hype I tried over ten months to figure out why that is so. First I though they, MSM, are trying to help get weaker democratic candidate but now it is clear, media is in tank for a candidate that has interest of the big corporations and that MEDIA IS ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. Since media helped Bush to get elected last time around they knew that people could not be fooled twice.

    Solution, find a corrupt candidate amongst democrats and, not only media can do the same for him but at the same time blame republicans for everything. Double whammy! People get so carried away by blaming this mess to current party and the president promoted by the same media so that they never will ask crucial question: Who convinced me last time to vote for Bush? There lays the answer;

    MEDIA IS ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE

    Now, my advice for all of you would be to stop trying to get media to report the truth as that would never happen. I have few articles that I will post later but bottom line is that MSM or rather BIG MEDIA is owned by big corporations and just ask your selves how many millions of shares are owned by Arab billionaire. Buffet is Obama supporter; he just bought into EG who owns MSNBC, how convenient? Time Warmers owes AOL, CNN, Time, and Arab sheik owns Billion of shares in AOL; Google, You Tube, My Space, Bebo, all of them Obama supporters? Check ownership and also how this crisis is helping Obama and benefiting his backers.

    Use your energy at trying to warn the rest of the people about it. There is so much about Obama that when most of people ask you to give reason why they shouldn’t vote you would not know where to start as there is so much and we all have been digging into his past for years to be able to compress it into a single SoundBits. So what is solution? There are two things that rest of uniformed people need to know and possibly chance to save few obots out of the cult Obama and that is clear message to them and try different method.

    Ask them following:

    ‘Can you tell me how an honest politician can achieve such meteoric rise, especially in Chicago?

    Who are the people that are pushing him and what are they motives?

    Do you really know who Obama is and would you be the one that has on your conscience betrayal of freedom just because you didn’t at least look into his background.

    Didn’t MLK say that you shouldn’t judge a person by the colour but their character? We all know John McCain’s character but do you know Obama’s?
    Do you think it is a good character someone who betrays everyone once he has no more use for them?

    Do you think that is a good character someone who is happy to deprive voices of millions being heard just because they didn’t vote for him?

    Do you think that all those who don’t agree with you have right to be heard?’

    If not, that means that you are not different from those who supported Hitler and just think for a minute of consequences of your actions. Just think about; do you want to have that on your conscience. We are not asking more from you but two things:

    Think about whom MSM has supported last time around and who do they support now and you will know who your enemy is.

    Whoever media supports you will then know for sure, THAT PERSON IS ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. To all Obots out there: Now you have real culprit and this is you should be directing your energy, to the real enemy of the people – BIG MEDIA.

    P.S. Please note that I grow up in socialism and for all who have that experience Obama’s rhetoric is very transparent. Although the notion of distributing the wealth is honourable, history has thought us that all those who preach it do so to gain power and enrich themselves. I also once suggested that someone watch a film Persepolis (foreign Oscar winner) as there is an example of how Khomeini entices masses and what is to follow for the idealists that bought into it – please someone edit those scene for you tube – perhaps Jeremiah from No Quarter- he is so funny and as I noted he got to the same conclusion due to his family experience of fleeing Persia – someone pass message to him).

    I have been living in UK for nearly twenty years and in the meantime my country has been liberated from communism. Just one relevant anecdote; I asked one wise friend why it is that there is still so much corruption? His answer: We don’t have politicians that come from Old Money as those are the only one that will work for people and are comfortable in their own skin to abuse the power. Most of the others need first to accumulate wealth and to do so they have to be corrupt to achieve it and so we start vicious circle of corruption that never ends.

    Although I am not America citizen I still think that Obama is danger to whole world. We all know that in the end world is run by big corporations and he being in the pocket of big money is not as poignant as the thought that he might also play them for his bigger goal, Islam.

    You are completely missing the point. McCain’s plan is to buy back the mortgages at full value, even though many of those mortgages are worth far less. In effect, he is 100% bailing out the banks at the 100% expense of the tax payers. I do not know how you can call yourself a conservative and agree on that and the free market. Many conservatives are calling McCain’s plan terrible. Tax payers should not be footing this bill. Very simple. This is not a very conservative plan and one even the democrats are not advocating. It is a just a cheap shot at trying to get some more votes.

    I will agree with McCain’s initial thoughts on this one… tax cuts in a time of war are irresponsible.

    even if McCain wins.. taxes are going to go up… paying for this housing crisis is only going to make the likelihood of higher taxes greater…. we now have to pay for the bill…

    we are also going to have to have a mass cut in govt spending, which is going to impact all of us… from you going to the DMV to your retirement benefits to you name it.. the government is either going to be cutting spending, particularly as tax revenues are sinking in this recession, or they will charge more for ever kind of fee under the sun…

    the candidates need to talk about this and that everyone is going to feel some pain here…

    I am sure Ani was just looking out for me. She is a writer here. She probably wasn’t trying to be mean, she just wanted to make sure I was getting credit. A lot of bloggers have been getting plagarized lately. And it is frustrating when you spend a lot of time on something, and then see it somewhere else, uncredited. It was probably a misunderstanding.

    I noticed another site that had posted this, and then they wanted to change some of my words, and send it out to the media. I don’t mind them sending it out, but it kind of bothered me a little that they wanted to edit my writing, without asking. :OS (fixing typos, I am all for! haha) Had they asked, I would not have minded at all!

    But, anyway, thank you for liking it, and spreading the word! :O)

    Long ago and far away I realized that the MSM most frequently runs contrary to the wishes of the greater part of the American public.

    Early in this millennium the MSM championed George Walker Bush’s fear campaign against Iraq, which plunged America into a ceaseless war and an inevitable financial collapse.

    Of course the MSM ever and always hated the Clintons. The greater public preferred the Clinton years of peace and prosperity, and few cared a Fig Newton about his sexual trysts in the White House, and any lies about them afterwards.

    But for the MSM, Bill was “the one that got away”; thus, the current campaign was all about preventing the Clintons from coming back to the White House.

    Thus, Senator Obama became an MSM tool–and an instrument by which to achieve their end.

    Of course Senator Obama will prevail now, as the United States is undergoing an economic meltdown. It would not matter if his opposition were the wisest human being alive–circumstances will now propel Senator Obama to the White House.

    While that will please the MSM immeasurably, pity the poor United States.

    Obama’s team is as ruthless and clueless as ever, and, well, perhaps this signifies our end, much as the Soviet Union came to ruin twenty years ago.

    History reveals that all empires fall. Sadly, our own empire’s fall might have been prevented, but the MSM–the real enemy of the American people–got in the way, one last fatal time.

    Having lived as a young mom through the Reagan era, I can promise you that that’s when jobs started to go offshore. I can remember people started to say that “he’s trying to destroy the middle class.”

    Reagan and his wife Nancy were also consulting a medium/fortuneteller(s) for directional advice.

    Not good. As far as defense/security, yes he was good on that issue but he also cut 400 B-1s from being built.

    No Bob, Mac is wanting to change non-recourse loans to recourse loans and that’s why 59 percent of homeowners SUPPORT him on this issue.

    With a recourse loan there are other options for going after buyers – Mac is wanting to remove the incentive to just walk away and let a home go into default.

    Bob, the economy is bad any way you dice it. McCain is risky, but Obama is far more worse. If you sit at home that’s a vote for Obama. I wouldn’t be surprised to see McCain say the economic crisis was a terrorist hit next week. If he doesn’t that’s one more opportunity he missed.

    GE is a major player/advertiser of MSM. Their stocks have plummeted. I wrote and told them I would not be buying any of their products until they stopped supporting the news and Hillary bashing. This was in Feb and we launched an all out campaign to boycott. I haven’t watched the news since then. I catch the rallies and debates on C-Span. My phone was tapped and my ISP tracked. Scared the bejebees out of me but I kept on boycotting.

    In 2004, I was only 16. I could not vote, but I did work on W’s campaign. I wanted him to win. However, if he lost, he lost. Politics, America, and Life would go on.
