Al Qaeda’s Operation HEMORRHOIDS–A Pain in the Ass for Them

The folks claiming to be part of Al Qaeda who are currently trying to stir things up in Yemen (known in the West as Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula aka AQAP) may not know how to build an effective bomb but they put out a hell of a magazine. Inspire, vol 3, is the work of a graphically gifted jihadi hiding somewhere in the deserts of Yemen. Much of the current issue is devoted to what AQAP calls OPERATION HEMORRHAGE. But if you look at what was actually not accomplished in the failed bombings, you come to the conclusion that this was more akin to a giant Hemorrhoid. Just to show you how desperate these clowns are, they quoted yours truly as part of its pathetic effort to persuade the world that they are a terrorist force to be reckoned with.

Here’s a synopsis of the one of the key articles (thanks to Bukisa):

‘THE OBJECTIVES OF OPERATION HEMORRHAGE’ written by the ‘HEAD OF FOREIGN OPERATIONS’, as the title would suggest, discusses the aims of OH. The author says that air freight is a multi-billion dollar industry and AQAP’s aim through OH was ‘not to cause maximum casualties but to cause maximum losses to the American economy’. This, he continues, is why the group targeted FedEx and UPS specifically. He goes on to describe the downing of the UPS plane in Dubai [mentioned above] as a practice run for OH, and that if it were not for an intelligence tip-off, both explosive devices would have detonated. He also says that AQAP has developed its bomb-making capabilities to the point where its bombs can ‘pass through the most stringent and up-to-date security equipment’. He adds that the parcel bombs were addressed to synagogues in Chicago, ‘Obama’s city’, and that one of the synagogues was a ‘Gay and Lesbian synagogue’ [sic]. He finishes, saying: ‘We were very optimistic about the outcome of this operation, that is why we dropped into one of the boxes a novel titled, Great Expectations.’ The article also includes images of the parcels and their contents [including the novel] before they were dispatched.

Are we sure these guys are not part of Obama’s campaign team? Declaring victory in the midst of defeat is something they seem to share with David Axelrod and other top tier Obama advisors. So let me make a few comments to these AQAP nitwits:

News flash you raghead motherfuckers–THE BOMB DIDN’T GO OFF!! Hell, you clowns could barely torch Abdulmutallab’s balls last December. You wanted to cause maximum damage to the American economy? Don’t you get it? You actually have to do something before the U.S. Government will give a rats ass about you and your boasts. If you are going to quote me in your piece of shit magazine than at least take time to get a translation and understand my point:

If you guys had an ounce of competence you could down at least one plane a day. No problem if you knew what you were doing. We don’t have an effective security in place overseas. But thank God you are incompetent. You mistake enthusiasm for capability. Just because you are popping wood and frenzied about going to see Allah, it does not equate with actually knowing how to construct a bomb that will explode where and when you want it to.

Let there be no mistake, the so-called AQAP wants to do us harm and wants to kill Americans. But they are stuck in Yemen and have been penetrated by Saudi intelligence. They are being killed on a regular basis by Predator strikes. And that will continue to be the case. If they spent more time studying the art of explosives and less time watching Larry King Live and recording my comments we might have a real problem on our hand.

Instead, we are facing the not ready for prime time Jihad. The latest example was the arrest last night of some stupid ass Somali American traitor. I personally hope we deport his whole fucking family. If they can’t do a better job of raising their idiot son to love and appreciate this country then yes, they should go back to where they came from. Reuters reports:

A Somali-born teenager was arrested on Friday for attempting to detonate what he thought was a car bomb at a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Oregon, officials said.

Mohamed Osman Mohamud, 19, was charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction in connection with an alleged plot to bomb the annual event in downtown Portland, the Justice Department said late on Friday.

The bomb was a fake and had been provided to Mohamud as part of a long-term sting by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, federal officials said in a statement.

Officials said Mohamud, a naturalized U.S. citizen and student at Oregon State University, had been in contact with an unnamed individual believed to be in northwest Pakistan and involved in terrorist activities.

A couple of points worth noting. Mohamud was too stupid to even understand that he didn’t have a real bomb. Hell, he didn’t even build the device. Yes, it was an FBI sting, and good on them. This story illustrates that the Bureau is doing a good job of tracking down potential threats and dealing with them before the aspiring terrorist can hurt someone.

I realize that many 19 year old guys spend too much time thinking with their dicks and ignoring their brains. Old Mohamud in Portland had a lot of sexual frustration and displaced anger. He also apparently had shit for brains. Good for him. Convict him, lock his ass up and throw away the key. Oh, and by the way, we stopped terrorism using law enforcement tactics and didn’t need to ring up Delta Force. Imagine that.

  • HARP

Wait until Old Mohamud gets to prison and he finds out HE is one of the 72 virgins.

LJ, looks the Saudi’s are working the intel back to the kingdom.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabian authorities have arrested 149 alleged Al Qaeda activists organized into 19 different cells – many of them linked to Al Qaeda’s Yemen-based branch, one of the terrorist movement’s most aggressive affiliates, security officials said Friday.
Arrested over the past eight months, the militants were allegedly planning to attack government facilities and assassinate Saudi officials and journalists, as well as non-Muslim foreigners.

I am still concerned they had to role it up early due to the way the last episode was handled.

Al Qaeda doesn’t have to do much of anything it seems.  Through our own irrational fears or cowardice, we’re giving up our freedom on our own.

Ben Franklin said it well, “A people who will give up a little freedom for a little security, deserve neither and will lose both.”

  • Ferd Premium Saltine Berfle

I don’t know you but you are spot on. The boneheads put some lotion in their underwear and TSA goes apeshit. When AQ starts to shove the explosives up their rectum and TSA gets a hard-on, we’re in trouble. They’ve won and we’re nothing but cowards who would trade a *feeling” of safety for Constitutional rights.

Fuck AQ and the cowards who capitulated.

  • Ferd Premium Saltine Berfle

TSA has given us the ultimate in the false dilemma:

Either you aquiesce to our groping and sordid pornography or you’re going to be killed by AQ.

    Bullshit.

  • Ferd Premium Saltine Berfle

Every time bin Laden utters a word, our government falls all over itself to either deny it is bin Laden or to say that it was an old tape. He wins and we lose every time.

Either way, we look foolish and weak. Kill the SOB already. We can track down the most harmless of tax evaders and jail them. So treat bin Laden as a tax evader–and then kill him.

  • Docelder

And we have Napolitano telling us that most Americans have never had a real law enforcement pat down… well no shit. That is a fact because most Americans aren’t criminals. So why should they be treated as if they were criminals? These people in charge can’t be that stupid. I am beginning to believe the norming theories myself. I think we are being conditioned to accept these jack booted tactics as the norm. Hell, I think I am a Bin Laden truther… I think the guy is long dead but he is worth more to both sides alive… so Al Qaeda makes tapes and we act as if Bin Laden is still out there somewhere. How damn hard would it be anyway to find a 6’6″ Arab in Afghanistan or Pakistan on kidney dialysis? This is bullshit. All the way around.

  • Mr. Natural

No Miranda, Escobedo or habeas corpus in the Saudi system, I’ll wager…

Has anyone seen a Rate Card for this rag?

Might be an alternative advertising point for those with warehouses full of otherwise unmarketable crap.

    “Jihadist Depot,” comes to mind.

Ya think it’ll be available in the seatback pouches of airliners soon?

Why write about your super secret plans to put explosives into “Great Expections” and mail the parcel to gay and lesbian synagogues in Chicago? Didn’t all of you guys pinkie swear not to tell?

By the way, “Bleak House” is a much longer book. (I.e. – you can pack more explosives into a hollowed out copy.) Obviously these terrorists know nothing about Dickens.

  • arabella trefoil

Sorry to harp on this, because nobody likes a Monday morning quarterback, BUT …

Will these terrorists ever take the time to understand American culture? Aren’t you supposed to “gather intelligence” before you launch an attack? Seriously, I don’t think these schmoes are giving 100% effort. Do you not realize, oh scary ones, that most Americans hate “Great Expectations” having been dragged through it in high school English or a survey course in college.

Are you going to mark the outside of the box “Inside Box is Books called GREAT EXPECTATIONS” ? Hmm? Most red-blooded Americans run from “Great Expectations” the way Superman runs from kryptonite. The recipient will not open the package.

Is there anybody out there who wants to expose himself to the tiresome doings of Pip and Miss Havisham? Seriously.

Boys, it’s time to go back in a huddle and come up with some different plans. And for those terrorists reading my comment, I’m not going to help you interpret “Monday morning quarterback.” You have to figure it out for yourselves. Stop being so lazy. Remember success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. And a quitter never wins and a winner never quits.

  • arabella trefoil

AQ are a bunch of lazy ass bastards. In the United States of America, any jackass can start a blog and make all kinds of outrageous claims. We have people who plot Renaissance Fayres and Star Trek Conventions and write Twilight fanfic.

So a lot of hot air coming out of Yemen is not impressive. Not by a long chalk. Thank God or Divine Providence or whatever we have people like Larry who have some balls. You tell ‘em, Larry.

The only that will result from your pathetic shenanigans, oh scary ones, is that Amazon will have to report the names and personal information of everyone who orders a copy of “Great Expectations” to the Federal government. I hope this creates jobs.

As for the 13 or so AQ cell members hanging out in Elmira or Euclid, I know you guys drink and go to titty bars and eat Shake ‘n’ Bake pork chops. You say you are doing this “just to blend in” but we’re way too smart to believe that nonsense.

  • JB, SoCal, USA

Larry, I gotta tell ya . . . in the pic you look like ONE BADASS MF-er!

The first guy I thought of was Dick Butkus, ex-Chicago Bear NFL Hall of Famer, but with movie star good looks (hey, not a gaylord, just sayin, OK?)
The actor part of the equation eludes me though — not a younger, buffer Orson Welles, no, no . . . can’t think of who you look like there, dammit!
    Somebody, help me out here.

Anyway, as always, this post is one of your best, physically.  I felt like you just gave those AQ pussies a quick kick in the balls — OOOOOFFF!!!! — and when they look up it’ll be  . . . whomp! thud! LIGHTS OUT!!!

  • Tricia

Wow–quite a story to wake up to here on the left coast!  Larry, love your way of putting things.

  • Suzie Ivy

“we are facing the not ready for prime time Jihad” Priceless, thank you Larry!

  • Docelder

Honestly, I have seen the small clips of AQ training videos released on the TV and they don’t appear that organized and formidable. We know AQ probably worked and worked to get some scary footage to send to us. The masks are the most scary part aside from the cheap ass AK47 rifles these guys show. I just did notice the 9mm glock in their advertising slick… be serious. If that was the most lethal gun they could find for the ad… they probably have no clue.

  • helenk

Let’s see what happens here with Mohamed Osman Mohamud. I am not much for these type of stings, unless I have all the details. Hell, folk can be talked into almost anything once a weakness has been exploited. I have Watched to many of these stings go bust on the US. Though I agree, Mohamed Osman Mohamud needs to be put away.

As far as AQAP is concerned, if this is the best they can do, we are far ahead of the game.

Well maybe AQAP put a nail in its coffin using your quote, Johnson, as well as others I see. Maybe Congress will smarten up and actually fill the gaps now. I think the rags on their heads were tied a little too tight. These are some real live dumb, sumbitches.

Blow-back can be a real bitch!

I love Great Expectations, and it is oddly appropriate for the terrorists to include it as a symbol, but not for the reasons they intended.  Miss Havisham was devastated by an event that happened in her remote past and is forever time warped.  The Jihadists are stuck in the Crusades and will never outgrow it . . .

    ralphb,

I’m with you on this one.  My sig other has convinced me to drive down to AZ with him to see his new “golf home.”  My son will housesit again to care for the animal kids while I’m away.  But…..I have to fly home, as I most definitely do NOT want to stay while he golfs for several weeks.  I have my office here and am in the middle of a project I’ve close to finishing.

I am at my wit’s end trying to decide if I opt out of the potentially hazardous to my health and most definitely hazardous to my human dignity body scan and choose the definitely hazardous to my sense of what my civil rights should be pat down.  I swear that we should all put so much pressure on the airline industry to make them understand that we will no-longer fly under the conditions the government has created.   I am just appalled that the entire country has not risen up in protest.  Everyone in my family, except my brother-in-law,  laughs at me and says I am over-reacting.  The only reason he agreed with me, however, is that I refused to fly to Mexico for a shor vacation with my sister when he wouldn’t.  I protested not only because of the security procedures but because I am boycotting Mexico until the border is secured and he is doing the same.

But then maybe that is the government’s plan all along:  keep us all in our places safely under their surveillance in the place where they can most easily find us.

  • Diana L. C.

I taught Great Expectations for five years.  The book is absolutely wonderful if you approach it right.  I had lots of ninth grade boys become fascinated with the Victorian justice system in England at the time.

  • Diana L. C.

Definitely makes me proud to be from CO.

I’ve become cynical, however.  Does anyone really have much faith in the current justice system?

I’m not selling the body scan but when are flying in an aluminum tibe up at 40,000 feet you are gtting exposed to ~200x the amount of radiation then you get exposed to walking through a body scanner.  Regarding Mexico, there is no way I would travel there.

Chicago Tribune, November 28, 2010, The ‘Vanity Fair’ of Al Qaeda

Larry Johnson, a former CIA analyst, said the latest magazine mostly shows that Al Qaeda is a spent force that is trying to make the best of a failed attack.
“This is spin worthy of a Washington pundit,” he said. “I think they’re trying to maintain their image of being a ferocious, deadly organization. But at the end of the day, they just showed they were incompetent.”

Bet this is much more palatable than being in Inspire! Cheers…

yeah rite – if what larry said is so true – why is that NATO til today can’t get hold of afghanistan, yemen and somalia ? these people need not need to fight usa or europe – they only need to bring down the saudi regime and that will unite more than 1.2 billion moslem worldwide.

  • Dave

Napolitano gave us in Arizona a royal rectal rooting before she left us  wallowing in debt.  She is now doing the same to the rest of the US. How does it feel to get screwed and not even get a kiss ?  We are not one bit safer now than we were on Sept 10, 2001.  This window dressing government bullshit is a joke. This woman needs to be taken to the dog pound and be put down !!!!

Over time, of course I learned a lot about my problem. Among other things, that it is a highly individual problem by no means the majority of people will suffer. And yet no one talks about it, so it is for the industry so easy to make us permanently. Meanwhile, I am engaged and professionally with the subject because I would like to help as many people as possible simply, this suffering once and for all be rid of them.
