Not to be contrary, because no one loathes BO more than I do, but Farrakhan could mean that Obama is the “instrument” through which the Messiah speaks. He says that first, that the Messiah will speak through others and they will know it is his will.

That’s common from a religious/mystical perspective–that God works through people.

I appreciate your comments, but you kind of lost me on the last paragraph. Hillary did try to bring some of this up but if you will remember, back in January, at the last debate between her and Obama and Edwards — she mentioned him being in bed with the slumlord, Tony Rezko — she was booed for doing so. He lied through his teeth and she was excoriated in the media for “attacking” the messiah. The media and the DNC elite created an atmosphere where no matter what she did or said, she was vilified for it. Her bringing up these associations would have only hurt her more.

She was out there flapping in the breeze all by herself. Even her 18,000,000 voters could not help against the ridiculous bias coming from these other forces.

She fought harder than I have ever seen a politician fight for anything. The amount of pressure that woman was under was excruciating, daily, and for months.

She is now doing the minimum that she has to do for him to stay in the game, keep her place at the table and live to fight another day.

And there will be another day.

She cannot commit political suicide to please us. Believe me, I’d love it if she and others would stand up and say, “The Emperor Has No Clothes”.

But we need her voice in the Senate. She will emerge even more as a leader in the future. Watch and see.

Yeah, like we can count on Obama to tell the truth. Obama continued to work for Davis while he was in the Illinois senate.

By the way Rezko offered Obama a job after he graduated from Harvard. Obama declined and took a job as a community organizer instead. How did Rezko know him then and why did he offer him a job?

Also, a guy named Cari was indicted with Rezko. Cari worked on Bidens presidential campaign. Don’t you think all of this is strange coincidence?

Hate to say it but you’re wrong on this one. I am an exile from a communist country and when a socialist/communist dictator takes power they don’t keep the existing police or military. They create their own and the existing forces get the boot…that’s where the firing squads and assassinations start. This is what happened in my birth country and could easily happen here just the same. Besides, the Obammunist has already been talking plenty about his civilian milita…what do you think that means? All of those who think this can’t happen, or would take a long time to happen, I tell you from personal experience that it can happen and it happens so quickly you don’t even know what hit you. I’d leave this country too if the Obammunist is elected selected, but unfortunately, there is no other place on this earth like our United States of America. This is why we must fight, no matter what it takes or what we have to risk, during this election to save and protect our great nation from this onslaught of socialism that they’re trying to shove down our throats.

Castro is either already dead or dying and who’s up next…why, his little brother Raul. The creepy tape is old news actually. It was circulated back in February during the primaries . . . when Hillary was going through a rough time. Obama was on a winning streak and we discovered that she had loaned money to her campaign.

The MSM ignored it back then and probably will now. It’s still interesting that Fox digs it out of the archives.

Time is wasting in this campaign. The McCain campaign needs to stay on the economy, but also go with the Wright issue – hard. Obama’s relationship and appalling judgment in that matter are not in dispute – and it’s so obvious that Obama ditched Wright and left that church as a matter of political expediency, rather than principle.

This campaign is boiling down to independents and key swing voters in those battleground states. Many folks are just tuning into this election for the first time – and they need to get the word on Obama. I hope and pray that it is not too late.

fif- I had to listen to the video a number of times to get the true intent of Farrakhan’s words. ( And yes Matthew, I needed a barf bag) And yes, on first blush, Farrakhan used a common theological theme and vocabulary. But like Barky and all his associates- he used that common theme to twist convention and covertly add a radical dimension. That is a tactic of indoctrination and brainwashing. At this point McCain has five days to turn this around or lights out. Up above someone mentioned about 1980 and Reagan and Carter. I beleive I recall that debate was where Reagan uttered those famous words, are you any better off. It was just a few days until the general and the election turned that weekend. This isn’t 1980. McCain needs to do a few things to get peoples attention. First, contrast the life of service to a life of nothing. Second, start out the debate and say something like, I hope tonight Sen Obama will tell us where all the money is going to come from to fund all of his promises. Third, at the close of the debate, McCain needs to look straight at the camera and say, I will be your president for just four years, I will work my heart out every day to get the country back on track to where we should be, I am asking for your vote, not a shot in the dark like my opponent.
While I am not a big attack ad fan, this makes a perfect commercial, played over and over again, let people think about who this guy pals around with, maybe they will get off their rears and make the right choice. Everybody know who Louis Farakhan is and what he stands for. He is not some shadowy character like Rezko and Ayers.
This week is McCain’s last chance. I hope he takes it.
