Obama's tax cuts will benefit those who need it most - the middle class and small businesses. If you are not willing to give back to the community when your net income is $280k and your tax increases by $900 - you are unpatriotic, selfish, spoiled and just plain stupid to complain about $900 when you earned $280k. For "Joe" to earn a net income greater than $250k from a small business, his revenues would be considerably larger. And now McCain is distorting the conversation between "Joe" and Obama in a new ad. Basically, it tries to show that Obama will raise taxes - even for an average American like "Joe" - which is false, since "Joe" approached him as a small business owner earning more than $250k. I own a small business and wish that my net income exceeded $250k. If it did, I would gladly pay an additional 3% on that income over $250k. When you earn this kind of money, 3% is chump change.
